Highly recommended! I've been there several times and have always been very satisfied! The ambiance is very appealing, with rooms of varying sizes offering a wide range of options. They serve traditional German dishes and pizzas. There's also a good selection of wines!

We visited your beautiful restaurant for the first time yesterday. The service provided by your employee, Ardit Fazli, was a wonderful experience. Not only was he very attentive, but his friendliness towards us was also very refreshing. A big compliment to your kitchen as well. The food was excellent. Thanks to the fantastic service by Mr. Ardit Fazli, we were guests again today. Mr. Fazli must have had the day off, because the table we had reserved yesterday was taken. Which wasn't a problem. Your employee today was also friendly, but still nothing compared to Mr. Ardit Fazli. Nevertheless, we felt that a €10 (€40) tip for the kitchen and the service staff on both days was appropriate. We look forward to our next visit ❤️

After the Berlin Marathon, we stopped by the restaurant with a group of 12 people and were absolutely thrilled after our visit. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent! Even when there were still three huge portions of knuckle of pork left over and one of us came back, he was given fresh cutlery and a plate without complaint or anything like that. This meant the leftovers didn't have to be thrown away! All four men were stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed their meal! Simply fantastic! 🥰

We were there today for the first day of school. We were there 3 years ago, and it was top-notch. The red-haired waitress was unbearable; rude, rude, and very primitive. She brought the wrong orders. Today it was so bad: the schnitzel was only cooked on one side and was sitting in grease. The coleslaw was inedible. The fried potatoes were sitting in grease and inedible. I've had diarrhea for hours, even though I haven't been able to finish my meal. If this continues, I'll go to the hospital in Cologne tomorrow, at your expense. We were there a lot, and I'll recommend everything.

I can't remember the last time I was served so quickly. After ordering my drinks, I didn't even have to take a second breath before the order was taken, and the food followed immediately. The service was really friendly and attentive. The food was good; there was nothing to complain about. The prices aren't discount, but they're absolutely reasonable, and I'm happy to pay them for the service I get. I highly recommend this place and it's the right place to stop after a visit to the Museum of European Cultures.

The atmosphere is really nice, but the service was very poor. We had to look for cakes ourselves because the waiter wouldn't tell us. Afterward, we ordered cake, but no one brought it. We were completely ignored.

My aspic with fried potatoes was very tasty, but the portion was a bit too much for my liking. The pizza gets a B+. The service was quick, but almost too eager. You kind of got the feeling they were just waiting for the seats to be free again. It won't be our first choice, but we'd be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

We live nearby and used to be regulars at Luise. At some point, the quality declined, and we felt the prices were too high – which is why we avoided the restaurant for a long time. On a recommendation, we tried it again, and we were truly pleasantly surprised: The five of us (including our child) sat in the beer garden in glorious weather, and we were all thrilled. The food was consistently delicious – even the vegan burger was a real highlight. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the drinks came incredibly quickly. A visit that completely impressed us. We'll definitely be back often. It's great that so much has changed for the better here!

A restaurant that has long been popular in southwest Berlin, catering to many students, academic staff from the nearby Free University, and the local community. The large beer garden, with its shady trees, could easily be in Munich. Overall, a great location. Good food with reasonable portions. What's striking these days is the large number of staff members who go out of their way to accommodate their guests.

Beautiful beer garden with good food and great service The beer garden is huge and was very busy on a Saturday evening. I was initially skeptical and assumed there would probably be a long wait. However, thanks to the prompt and friendly service, this wasn't the case. The beer we ordered and the food arrived very quickly. We had the schnitzel, which I would have liked to have been cooked a bit crispier, with very tasty fries, and the Königsberger Klopse (meatballs) with mashed potatoes. Both were quite large portions, especially the meatballs. While they didn't taste like the original recipe, they were fantastic for a brewery kitchen. Many guests also had pizza. Of course, that doesn't quite fit the ambiance of a Bavarian-style beer garden, but to each their own 😀. The prices are also reasonable. We highly recommend a visit to Luise's!

The ambiance and service were okay, and now here's a tip for the kitchen: I had a Braumeister schnitzel with delicious fried potatoes (which you always look forward to)... And then a plate arrives with a pile of food on it, meaning the schnitzel sits on top of the fried potatoes and soaks everything, and the anticipation of my fried potatoes is gone. The food was completely soggy and anything but tasty - and here's my tip for the kitchen: a different shape of the plate so that the schnitzel and fried potatoes sit separately... And that way, the fried potatoes stay relatively crispy!!!! Also, at least one type of dark beer might be a good idea, since not everyone likes the light stuff!!!!!

One star deducted because €19 for two dumplings (beetroot dumplings) without a side salad is definitely too high. They generally tasted good. However, my companion's burger was bone dry and inedible. One star deducted because the setting was very stressful, and I felt out of place.

After a very long time, I went to Luise with friends again. Unfortunately, I have to say the schnitzel and chanterelle mushrooms in sauce was a complete disappointment. The chanterelle mushrooms were flavorless and very watery, and that's for the price. Unfortunately, it's not my kind of place anymore; it used to be more cozy.

The Wiener schnitzel was okay, but unfortunately not crispy and far from the original. The fries were really good, but unfortunately they were just mayo from a packet. Königsbergerklopse (a German meatball) was an affront to the culinary arts. Unfortunately, the price and quality weren't up to scratch. The drink selection was very good, though, and the atmosphere was also very nice.

The food is good... The lunch menu offers good value for money. The service is extremely unfriendly. As a guest, you feel like a burden to the service staff.

We were there eight days ago on a regular Thursday – and it was packed. The staff was extremely friendly, the service first-class, and the food truly delicious. What was particularly impressive was that there were twelve of us at the table, and all the dishes were served simultaneously and very quickly.

Beautiful inn with a large beer garden. Very cozy. Large trees. Excellent value for money! Right next to the Dahlem-Dorf subway station. The salad was delicious and attractively presented. The schnitzel was super thin, just as it should be.

Great restaurant, we were really nicely looked after as a family at a small family celebration.

The price-performance ratio isn't right. A salad with chicken (four small, thin, unseasoned slices) for €18.50 is too expensive, and the "homemade" lemon iced tea, at a whopping €4.40, is really bad, tasting like watered-down water, with an unknown flavor. The service was very funny and friendly. The ambiance is okay, as long as it's not too crowded, in which case you sit very close together. I would recommend it if you're drinking a beer, wine, or something similar.

There were four of us in the beer garden: three steak burgers, a chicken Caesar salad, two iced teas, an apple juice spritzer, and two Aperol Spritzes: 125 euros in total! The worst part: all three who ate the steak burgers developed a severe gastrointestinal infection with diarrhea and stomach pain, starting that night and continuing the next day. The ground beef must have been spoiled. It was the hottest day of the year so far, and the beer garden, usually so full in summer, was half empty—no wonder, given the prices. So, thanks to the left-wing policy of raising prices, you always get a seat, but you should stick to drinks and eat beforehand. A bottle of mineral water that you open yourself is best.

This place is actually ok, until I realized when you order a bottle of water, they give you tap water in old opened bottle and pass it off as fresh. Burger is awful however. Just to update this review, please ignore the response of the restaurant that they "only serve tap water in open carafes". We did complain about the bottle not only being opened, but not even full, so it was obvious the bottle was old. When we asked for a new bottle that wasn't opened, they could not oblige, and the server brought a new bottle that was already opened, but this time filled to the top. The bottle was also greasy, so pretty apparent it was, again, an re-used bottle. Caveat emptor at this place folks.

A beautiful and spacious beer garden. Inside, there are several cozy dining rooms. A large bar area with high tables, where we like to watch football. We usually have pizza for dinner, which is large and delicious. Prices are a bit high, typical of Dahlem. The service staff is always attentive and friendly.

I was here twice today. For lunch, I had a salad, which I thought was okay, but not outstanding. Given the price, I would have expected a bit more. However, the waitress (an older gentleman) was very quick, attentive, and friendly. I would gladly give him 5 stars. The second experience this evening was the exact opposite. Complete ignorance on the part of the waitress. I didn't even get a menu, so I left after waiting a while. Apparently, service is very person-dependent.

Food was awful but service excellent.

I wanted to go to the Luise with my family (2 children) after a long time. To our surprise, the entire area in the beer garden, which is right next to the playground, was cordoned off. This surprised us a lot on a Saturday shortly after 12:00 p.m. We asked a lady from the service staff if they would be opening a small area near the playground. She said no. We then asked when the area would be open. The flippant reply was: "Well, when the other shift comes!" When we asked when they would be, we received an even flippant reply: "Well, I don't know!!!" Since the woman - based on her appearance and witty words, she was obviously socialized in Teltow or Oranienburg - didn't give the impression that she would provide us with this information, we decided to spend our budget for the afternoon (lunch, 4-6 Campari Spritz, a couple of bottles of water, ice cream, coffee & cake) elsewhere. Now we're sitting at the Charlet Suisse near the playground (about 1.5 km away), and everyone is happy! Even the staff ;-)

We wanted to watch football there. It was raining, and umbrellas weren't allowed at first. Later, it worked. Impersonal beer garden, exorbitant prices. Definitely not suitable for watching football. I used to go there as a student. They served onion soup with thick cheese, and it was affordable. Today: completely in the hands of the nouveau riche of Dahlem.

I've known this garden restaurant since my student days—since ages—and after a long time, I was back here to meet some nice people. The atmosphere, the service, the food (rather simply selected), and the drinks... - perfect. There were several of us, and we were able to interact with each other in a completely relaxed manner. The relaxed atmosphere was also noticeable as it became more crowded. A beautiful, friendly place...

This restaurant is absolutely not recommended. They specify kitchens and opening hours that are not adhered to. Even with twelve people, the kitchen closes. The waiter deliberately waits until 10:00 PM to take your food order so that he doesn't have to deliver. You shouldn't go here because of wealth; it seems that work isn't necessary here. Service is understated. Not even the pizza, which the menu says is available until 11:00 PM, was available! The restaurant's response, which also showed a lack of understanding instead of apologizing, demonstrates its arrogance! The only positive thing was two employees who understood the situation well and behaved reasonably, in contrast to the actual Keller, who also became rude. A prime example of why the restaurant industry is getting worse. After experiences like this, you'd rather cook for yourself. A shame for the industry. Negative stars are unfortunately not possible.

The only question I have after this evening is whether they don't know what a schnitzel is, and especially what it looks like. Prices are a bit high, probably due to the area. Today was our first time at the Luise with five people. It had rained heavily just before. When we arrived, the sun came out, and the hosts immediately dried off our tables and chairs so we could enjoy the beautiful beer garden. The food was excellent, and the drink selection left nothing to be desired (at least for us). The service was excellent. The restrooms were clean and tidy. All in all: "Highly recommended."

Today was a perfect day for a beer garden, and so we found this lovely restaurant right near our hotel. They offer a lunch menu as well as a very extensive, balanced menu with fair prices and truly generous portions. The service system strives to serve customers as quickly as possible, and the food arrives at the table really quickly.

It was finally warm and nice outside this year, and we spontaneously stopped by Luise's beer garden. We actually found a free table and then sat in the sun, enjoying something delicious to eat and drink. The atmosphere is really nice, and the staff is friendly despite the stress and the marathon-like walking. I would describe the prices as a bit high. Hopefully the weather will allow for more visits to this beer garden this year!

A locally known restaurant with a large beer garden. Good to visit in summer and winter. Relaxed atmosphere with very good service. Major sporting events are often broadcast on multiple screens here. Please ask in advance by telephone. The food is consistently good. Larger groups in particular can meet well here. Always worth a visit. And how many shops around the Dahlem Dorf subway station with increased prices.

Very nice place. Old German atmosphere. It was full and very loud . One could hardly hear each other. The food was great ! Tasty, well cooked and large portions. Service was friendly and efficient.

Simply wonderful. Unfortunately, I hadn't paid attention to the name of the extremely nice waitress with blonde hair and a ponytail. She was really “core”. But everyone else was also very accommodating. Only note (not a complaint): The cucumber salad could have used more "boom". Definitely coming back.

Nun ja. 0,5 l Bier 5,80 - aber wenigstens Bayreuth - keine lokale Plörre. Wir sind eben in Berlin. In einer Krise ist die Gastronomie bestimmt nicht - das ist dehoga-Latein. Man muss ja begruenden, warum man die Steuererleichterung definitiv NICHT an die Gäste weitergibt....

At a meal as part of a family celebration, Mediterranean starter platters, various plated dishes as main courses and a selection of cakes were served. Starters and cakes were good, but the various main courses were not that convincing. Large terrace. Reasonable prices (beer is cheaper than water 🤣). Wood-fired pizza. We ordered soup of the day and they brought us gazpacho (very good) from some Spaniards in Berlin.

In summer one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Berlin - sitting under large trees, delicious German and Mediterranean food. The market stall directly in Louise also has good goods to take away: the buffalo mozzarella and the small tomatoes are of particularly good quality.

This place was once a popular meeting place for students due to its proximity to the university, the beer garden and the relative... moderate prices. The beer garden remains and some students certainly do too, but unfortunately the moderate prices are no longer there. A quick beer and a pizza for a tenner is obviously a thing of the past. On my last visit I noticed guests who were in their 40s or 50s and appeared to be well-heeled. The Luise has obviously now developed into more of a tourist destination.😉

I've been going here for 20 years. Little has changed. On the one hand it's good, on the other hand it's sometimes a shame. The service was annoyed, you were no longer allowed to sit in the sun, the area was cordoned off. In the other area, however, service was only sparse. Food ok but not outstanding.
