A nice and cozy place to enjoy fresh fish. I really liked the fish served as sandwiches — very tasty and well prepared. The hamsi tava wasn’t as good as I expected, but overall the prices are reasonable and the service was fine.

Quite spontaneously, the two of us went to the Karadeniz Fish House on Sunday evening. The ambiance in the front room was somewhat reminiscent of a snack bar. The friendly young employee then led us to the back room, where we were able to choose a free table, and our orders were taken quickly. The homemade lentil soup with delicious, warm flatbread was simply outstanding! This was followed by frozen fried fish (disappointing!) with fries and tartar sauce from a tube, as well as redfish with salad. For such a highly praised fish restaurant, I was expecting homemade tartar sauce and fresh fried fish. The prices there are reasonable, and the two young men serving were friendly and attentive. It was a bit chilly in the dining room. The restrooms were very clean.

I am a newcomer to Germany and I have never seen a fish restaurant like the one in Istanbul before. Until I discovered this place, it was really great, it was amazing, you should definitely come, the flavors are fresh and the service is friendly.

For anyone craving delicious Turkish-Arabic fish, this restaurant is the perfect place. The fish was excellently prepared – juicy, flavorful, and of very high quality. The fresh smell was immediately noticeable upon entering. The small menu contributes to the quality, as not every dish is available at all times – which I think is absolutely appropriate when it comes to fish. The bread could have been a bit fresher, but that's beside the point, because the focus here is clearly on the fish – and it was excellent.

We'd be happy to come back anytime. Everything was great. Our food was delicious; anyone who likes fish should go there.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago with my husband and our four-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. Our daughter is autistic, which is sometimes not immediately apparent to outsiders. When she briefly became a little louder—really just for a minute or two—the waitress came over to us and said, annoyed, "Could you please be quiet, I have a headache." (Owner's daughter) Such behavior toward a small child, especially one with special needs, is completely incomprehensible and unprofessional to me. We felt very uncomfortable and left quickly after the meal. Good food and a pleasant atmosphere are unfortunately of little use when, as a family with a mentally disabled child, you experience so little empathy and understanding.

Hey fish lovers...😊 If you want to eat good, tasty fish, you've come to the right place... I have to say, fish isn't my first choice, but I definitely always make an exception here... Everything I've eaten there so far has been delicious... my favorite is the redfish platter... I really enjoy coming here with my family to eat delicious fish... (You can't always eat a kebab, in my opinion...😊) So if you don't know Karadeniz Fischhaus in Gröpelingen and haven't eaten there, you're missing out, I'd say... Just try it and you'll thank me...😊

My wife was there with her friend. Anchovies were eaten and unfortunately they both got food poisoning. This was confirmed in the hospital. My wife found the anchovies a bit strange when she ate them because they were too soft and not freshly prepared, but you could tell. Unfortunately it is also a bacterial poisoning that was spread through the food there and so our children are now sick from this spoiled fish and have been vomiting for days! It's an outrage to sell spoiled fish! You pay to be poisoned! I hope you get your just punishment, if not in this life then in the next!

Hello Karadeniz team As a trained chef, I was satisfied with the food. The ambience of the dining room could be improved. The service took a while, but you tried hard, keep it up and it will get better. All in all, we will definitely come back again. Greetings and all the best

The good food was very good and the place is clean, comfortable and spacious but unfortunately there are limited types of fish for fish lovers. There are mackerel, dorada, sardines, perch and salmon

You don't have to fry a dead fish until it's dead, it just becomes dry and tough. A little salt on the food can work wonders. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant for fish lovers.

The store is very bad. I feel disgusted because the food was so terrible that you couldn't eat it. The service was lazy.

We went to Karadeniz Restaurant and had mixed experiences. The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, delicious and authentic! The location was also very inviting and cozy. Unfortunately, during the week we had to wait a whole hour for our food - and that with hungry children. That was really tiring and dampened the mood a bit. A faster service would really be desirable here. Conclusion: The food and the atmosphere are great, but the waiting time urgently needs to be improved, especially for families with children.

We wanted to eat there together as a family but only half came. After 20 minutes we asked where the rest of the food was because our food had already gotten cold. Our food was personally cleared away by the boss. An impertinence, just plain rude. We won't go there again and if you would like to eat together as a family, I don't recommend this restaurant. In any case, you have lost me as a guest.

Unfortunately the food wasn't freshly prepared,,,,a few hours later, my girlfriend and I got sick, we both got diarrhea,,,especially with fish you should know that it always has to be freshly prepared,,we drove there , since the reviews were very good,,,unfortunately we experienced the opposite,,,wouldn't recommend it, it's impossible to be served something like that 🤢😡

Addendum from March 16, 2024: We placed our order by phone 3 days in advance because of Ramadan. No food came, it was brought to the next table - only human! But then, despite the complaint, not even giving drinks and/or fries as compensation or not even offering soup while we wait another 20 minutes for our dishes is not possible. It won't make you poor and we won't get rich, it would have just been an accommodation and a nice gesture. We are absolutely not concerned with the €4. This is how you drive away customers who have been around for years. A pity! A note to the owners: Cakmak family

Tasty fish food and good service

The pan-fried mullet was very delicious. The anchovies were ok, I've had better ones. The salad was rather inedible, was cold and not seasoned. But generally we were very satisfied. Service, hygiene etc. are perfect. The entrance area is rather narrow and loud, but the back area is well suited for families.

We were really impressed by the price-performance ratio and the absolutely sufficient selection. Small but OHO does all its honors here!!! You can notice and taste the freshness!!! The salad was super fresh and the fish was simply super tasty and just as fresh. Fast service and also totally friendly. The toilets were really clean, they smelled of chlorine and were really clean. In fact, you hardly have it anywhere despite the high number of visitors. Keep it up, I'll definitely come back to eat with you and I'll be happy to take the trip!!

When the fish plate arrived, I noticed a deeply burnt taste in it and the backside of both fillet pieces were burnt. I sent the fish back and about 10 minutes later the "Chef" came to our table and asked loudly "well, who did this?" said. He looked like he wanted to put the plate in front of me again. It was also very disturbing for the surrounding tables. I said that the fish was black and that it was harmful to health. Bored, he turned and said, "Then I'm sorry." At the time, I thought I would buy a new fish plate. However the "sorry" was apparently not serious and I neither received the food I ordered nor anything else. Total disrespect!! My friends were shocked too! Finally, he even tried to insist that I pay for my Ayran, but I didn't. An impressive experience.

There is nothing wrong with the food itself. When I asked to keep a card at the table, the boss tore the card from my crying child's hands without comment. The long meal made the owner impatient. There were audible comments about how long it would take between the service staff and the owner. Small portion of fries for the child were deducted as a large portion. When asked, they said it was correct. Tip was withheld. Children were very unwelcome. A child's crying was responded to in a very inappropriate manner. We won't go there again. Gastronomy also means friendliness.

Super lecker Fisch auf türkisch Art und Preis ist auch Gut

Essen war sehr lecker, aber ihr müsst sehr viel Zeit und Geduld mitbringen. Da es gefühlt eine Ewigkeit dauert bis das Essen kommt.

Ich hatte Sardinen. Die waren von guter Qualität und lecker wie im Urlaub. Ich werde öfter hinfahren und weiteres von der Karte probieren. Service war unpersönlich aber freundlich, Ambiente wie im Imbiss, ist ok.

Bugün denediğim bir mekan. Hamsi ve salata yedim 13 euro +1.30 euro bahşiş ödedim. Çay ikram ama kendi kendine almalısın. Balık üstündeki un biraz yanmıştı , bunun dışında salata diri ve lezzetliydi. Güleryüz gösteren kibar bir, hanım bir kızımız garsondu. Tekrar gideceğim. Denenmesi gereken balıklar var. Banka kartı geçiyor bilesiniz .

Haben einen Tisch am 29.09.23 um 18:30 reserviert, da wir diesen nicht wahrnehmen können, haben wir nochmal um 17:00 angerufen und um eine Reservierung um 19:30 gebeten welches zugesagt wurde, Vor Ort dann darauf angesprochen, Mitarbeiterin wusste von der Umbuchung nichts (sehr schlecht Kommunikation untereinander) anschließend auch noch sehr unfreundlich reagiert! Meidet diesen Laden!!

Extrem überteuert für billigen Fisch - unverhältnismäßig - Kilogramm Fisch von Großhändlern bekommt man fast für umsonst. Zudem sind die Portionen sehr klein. Davon wird man kaum satt und bedarf auch noch sehr sehr lange Wartezeiten bis das Essen serviert wird.

Konnten es nicht probieren,weil als wir vor Ort waren,war das Restaurant zu und das bis September!!!!!Aber wenn man auf die Seite geht,sieht es offen aus,kein Hinweis!Schade!!!

Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Uns hat die Dorade sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist schlicht, dafür ist der Preis wirklich top. Die Bedienung nett und das Essen war schnell auf dem Tisch.

Sehr netter Service, alles blitzblank sauber und der Fisch und die Garnelen sind köstlich. Und es gab einen Tee vorweg. Wir sind begeistert.

Wir kamen am Samstag Abend hier vorbei, auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant. Drinnen sieht alles sauber aus. Am Eingang ein Platz um sich die Hände zu desinfizieren. An der Theke drei Mitarbeiter, alle freundlich. Auswahl an Speisen reicht vollkommen aus. Mussten uns aber erst einweisen lassen, was das alles bedeutet. Manches war im Baguette anderes mit Teller. Preise angenehm.

Die Pitas sind sooo gut und mit Liebe gemacht! 10/10 Punkte. Nur zu empfehlen.

Leider komplett nachgelassen, verschiedene Gerichte schmecken einfach nicht mehr so gut wie damals und preislich schon ordentlich angezogen. Preis-Leistung steht nicht mehr im Verhältnis.
