Is the canteen also accessible to external people?

The canteen is truly fantastic! I absolutely don't understand the negative comments. It's a canteen! Not a restaurant. You should be aware of that. Of course, it's often noisy, and it's also clear that there isn't something to suit everyone every day. But! Paying 4.20 for the dish of the day with dessert, which most recently was penne arrabiata with rocula and parmesan, and a chocolate pudding, all of which tasted excellent, is nothing to complain about. The quality is excellent, and the value for money is unbeatable.

Perhaps acceptable for vegetarians and vegans, but anyone who also likes to eat a piece of meat is definitely in the wrong place here! We were there as part of a course and had lunch here for two days. There were almost exclusively vegetarian and vegan dishes and they weren't particularly good either. The salad was fresh and crunchy, but the dressing was heavy and sticky, and the vegan pudding was simply inedible. At one station there is a sign that says steak and more, but unfortunately when we were there there were only vegetarian dishes, obviously someone here thought they had to work through the word “more”. I have nothing against canteens offering vegan or vegetarian dishes, but the coercion and paternalism caused by the offer is absolutely unacceptable to me! The ambience is generally okay for a canteen. Due to the size of the room, you have the feeling of sitting in a train station, but at least they tried to bring a little style into it. In the future, however, I will gratefully forego it and orientate myself differently.

Unfortunately too loud, but price/performance is great!

Had glass noodles with spring rolls. My colleague and I were battling stomach cramps afterward.

Very good cafeteria. We were there for a week. The food was almost always excellent.
