Great, cozy little location. Very nice!!

Attention if you are an event organizer (or planning to rent something here privately)! The Kammgarn website states the following: "Please contact us so that together we can create a rental event tailored to your needs." In reality, however, private individuals cannot hold celebrations (such as company parties, birthdays, or weddings) here. An event with an artist is also not feasible. In my case, I wanted to host a two-hour (private show) by a well-known US artist. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible because the artist I chose apparently wasn't culturally valuable enough. I understand that you can't do everything in a cultural center. But unfortunately, the managing director decides what he considers culturally valuable for his location and what he doesn't. The other major problem here is the managing director himself. I've experienced a lot, but I've never met such a fundamentally aggressive, stressed, and bad-tempered person. I didn't receive a reasonable response to my first rental inquiry. Afterward, I tried to talk to Mr. Müller on the phone, but he communicated with me in a condescending and aggressive manner. Nevertheless, I tried to explain my event in two more emails and didn't address his previous behavior toward me. Nevertheless, his subsequent email replies were again in a very unfriendly tone. I can't understand this behavior. I observed all courtesies in my correspondence, and fundamentally, I wanted to host an event by a reputable artist. Accordingly, I would have also brought money to Kammgarn. It is absolutely incomprehensible to me what harm I could have done to Mr. Müller by doing this, and what right he has to treat me like this! My conclusion is, as a private individual, you shouldn't even consider making an inquiry here. If you are an event organizer, I would recommend booking any other location except this one.

Small but nice hall. Nice atmosphere, enough parking spaces, good restaurants nearby, quick access to feeder paths.

Great place for events! Always a very competent team! No matter whether it is a cultural or political event, the Kammgarn team never disappoints! The prices for drinks are acceptable! I always enjoy going there. The offer is always great! Highly recommended!

THE place for culture in Kaiserslautern

Laith al Deen concert was great!!!! Location great and gastronomy okay in terms of price, nice staff. Great events like this should take place more often...

Super nice concert by Laith al Deen. We almost felt like we were at a living room concert. You're very close to the band and you can see really well from everywhere. Everything is well organized, no long waiting times, neither at the cloakroom nor at the drinks counter.

Pretty good. Lots of space, good parking nearby. Don't forget to bring coins. Cloakroom available. Drinks a bit overpriced, but everything is standard.

THE location in Kaiserslautern for concerts, comedy and the like. Small but nice. A varied program is offered here all year round.

Went there for the first time and we thought it was very cool. We were down at the Cotton Club. Great sound, very fair drinks prices. We will definitely be back.

The only negative point is the wheelchair toilet in the last corner. If you have to open it so that the wheelchair can go in or out, you have to be careful because the women's toilet is right next to the door. When someone goes out there, the wheelchair driver or his companion opens the door. Don't understand the concept. We also had to get past the overcrowded cloakroom. And unfortunately not everyone is considerate.

Great concert by Hematoma. What should I write? As with every concert, a lot of people if it's popular and then of course a lot of crowds but all in all great 👍🏻

I've seen a lot of good concerts here. Unfortunately I don't like Karlsberg Urpils, but it's still a good location.

We were at Alain Frei's performance. I can recommend this crazy guy to you. His charismatic appearance was very positive. These ambiguous gags were really funny. The building itself was in immaculate condition.

Even after many, many concert visits that I have made there, you simply have to say that it is still a good location. Unfortunately, beer prices are skyrocketing these days, but that's part of going away these days

Great location for concerts, a bit small but I don't think that matters at all.

High art. High culture. High price level. Jazz lovers rave about the jazz festival. Admission prices that are too high sometimes deter young people. No discount for severely disabled people at individual events & concerts :-((

Cool location. I like revived industrial halls. The use of colorful lights also has its charm. Sound was good and understandable. (It wasn't a music event!) I have to deduct half a point for the seating. But since you round up from 5, it remains 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟!

Small but nice. This applies equally to worsted and Moritz Neumeier, who gave us the best performance here today.

Cool, small location with great charm.

Attending the concert was great, only the organization of the bar was below all cannon, the artist was on stage for 5 minutes and there is no normal drink available (lack of cups) of course small, more expensive ones are available, a rogue who thinks bad things about it.

Great music venue! Attended a recent annual International Jazz Concert and was pleasantly surprised. Great acoustics, with friendly wait staff. Regional and international musical acts had played at this location.

Quite good as a venue, but the staff was extremely unfriendly and even rude. An example from our visit today. We were there with our son, 15, and had couples who were friends with us. After the event ended, everyone gave their empty glass and empty bottle to our son so that he could hand it over and keep the deposit. He then had to hear from the unfriendly employee at the counter that he had only collected the deposit and that's why they wouldn't give him the money, so we had to get involved. Above all, the way he was spoken to and then to us was simply not working. A big minus, especially since it wasn't the only encounter of this kind with the staff at the counter that evening.

A cute little place, unfortunately a bit poorly ventilated.

The Kammgarn is a household name in Kaiserslautern and THE venue for culture. Always a colorful range of programs from various genres and always well-known top acts. You experience their performances in a living room atmosphere, which is really great and I think the artists also love that about the worsted. Good Parking facilities are available. Catering for drinks too.

Doro in Kaiserslautern. First of all: the concert was great!!! However, the location is extremely unsuitable. The fact that so many people are allowed to stay in one small room is a mystery to me. It would be fine for other events in the hall, but the stage was too small for that and only Doro's great performance ensured that it was a complete failure.

Very nice cozy Location, good Bar and good prices for drinks. We went for Concert Doro this beginning of march. Very full and crowded. Sound was good. 🤟 the supporting Band was also good, Holy mother from NYC.

Excellent place to attend a concert of any kind. The acoustics are excellent. The cultural center is housed in the former factory hall of the worsted spinning mill. Again any time.

Cozy, modern event room with a small gallery. Entrance with drinks bar also modernly designed. Pretzel during break. Good visibility and acoustics. Small and cozy.

Great venue. Everything works here, the entrance as well as the break provision. There were also clean toilets after the event, which is by no means a given.

When seating is offered, this is cultural caging. Despite tickets for Willy Astor, there was no place to sit, except for the jump seat almost against the wall. The editorial trip was a flop for us, so we left again. Far too crowded for the small area. In contrast, the Gebläsehalle in Neunkirchen is an event paradise that also reflects increased safety.

Reasonable service, reasonable prices, decent ambience

Nice location. However, at the Willi Astor event, the seating is such that there are no sufficient escape routes. Chairs are almost inaccessible, especially in the back area. Very worrying!!!

Good location for concerts! BUT: The waiting time at the drinks stands is clearly too long, hence only 4 stars! Good tip: Simply add more staff...one taps, one sells...and not one person has to do everything! Then that works too 👍🏻 Otherwise the location is good. There are two cloakrooms. In the concert hall there is regular standing room downstairs on the ground floor and also standing room upstairs in the gallery and in the stands with good visibility even from the very back. Acoustically, the location is also fine and there is functioning ventilation, which is often not the case in such locations😉 Parking spaces are also available on all sides in the surrounding area (approx. 5-10 minutes walk).

Top, immer wieder gerne. Ich war schon einige Male da und es war immer top organisiert, das Personal war freundlich. Man sollte für die Pause aber noch ein, zwei andere Knabberartikel anbieten, als nur Brezeln, Herr Müller. Das wäre lieb und nicht so langweilig. Davon abgesehen aber: Meine absolute Empfehlung 👍👍👍

Ich bin eigentlich nicht so der Kammgarnfan. Aber diese Boogie Night - das muß sein - schon seit Jahren. Schade, daß es keine nummerierten Plätze gibt! Und die Bar hatte auch keinen Gin😢😭👎

Cooler Veranstaltungsort mit guter Parkplatzsituation. Schöne alte Industrieanlage in neuem Glanz! Einlass, Garderobe und Getränkestand sehr gut organisiert. Für die kleine Zuschauermenge auch immer ein sehr hochkarätiges Programm

Sehr authentische Veranstaltungsstätte. Das Kammgarn ist eine ehemalige Spinnerei. Der Veranstaltungsraum ist nicht zu groß, dadurch kann man auch weiter hinten noch etwas von der Bühne erkennen 😉. Es gibt auch eine Empore. Die Parkplätze direkt am Kammgarn könnten etwas mehr sein. Mit gefällt die Location sehr gut.
