Small, beautiful venue. Parking is quite difficult, but that's similar at many other event venues.

This was our second time there for the dodgeball concert. As always, everything was wonderfully organized, clean, and easy to get to, as everything is very well signposted. Great venue for events.

Absolutely fantastic venue for concerts, and all the necessary services were provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and always helpful. There's generally plenty of parking, but for larger acts, you might have to use the surrounding parking lots. However, there are plenty of free spaces there too; you just have to walk another 500 meters. The sound at Kammgarn is excellent—better than in many other concert halls. So we were very impressed with that as well. The catering prices are very reasonable. We will definitely come back if there are any suitable concerts on offer.

We went to the Mr. Hurley concert at Kammgarn for the first time. Luckily, we found a parking spot just a few meters away with a parking ticket. Entry was quick and easy. There was a bit of a queue at the cloakroom, but it was relatively quick, only a few minutes, and cost €2 each. The bar is accessible from two sides, and as a tip, it's usually less crowded and faster to get in from the back. ;-) Now for the missing star: we were so hungry, and unfortunately, there weren't even any pretzels left, only peanuts and gummy bears... It would have been nice if there had been at least pretzels or something else available, since doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 8 pm. The restrooms are on the same level and quite decent. Now to the most important room, which we found to be just right that evening. Not too big and not too small. There was also a second level upstairs, which was opened due to the large number of tickets sold. The sound system and equipment were great, and it was a lot of fun. Despite the crowd, the room wasn't too hot, and there was plenty of space to move around. They also sell a small worsted sheep as a souvenir, and our initial impression is really positive :-)

Simply enjoyable and always great evenings. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Good bands, great comedy. Especially fantastic open-air in the summer.

Huge selection of pizzas, even pineapple pizza! The small pizzas are 33 cm, medium 36 cm, and I didn't dare try the large ones. The pizzas are huge and generously topped. The dough is okay but a bit soggy, and the last few bites are a little dry. It's always busy; the place is doing well. Reservations are a must. Parking is difficult during peak hours. You have to buy a day ticket for €3 every day until 10:00 PM. However, there are other parking options 100 meters away. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven. It's very fast; ordering, drinks, and the food all arrive in 15 minutes. Impressive! Card payment is accepted, but not at the table; you have to pay at the central cash register, which is quite busy. I'd almost call it fast food, even though the quality is really good. It's loud, very lively, and the crust wasn't crispy enough for me, hence the one-star deduction. But we'll definitely be back!

Excellent parking facilities, pleasant atmosphere

We went to the Heavysaurus concert today with our son. Entry was really quick and the venue is truly beautiful 😊 A huge thank you to the venue's security staff who accompanied me in my wheelchair ♿️, whether to the elevator or to help me and my son through. They were all incredibly friendly and attentive, not only to safety but also to the personal touch. A very heartfelt thank you, it really touched me ☺️ We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back 😊 The band members were all very friendly and helpful, and we felt well taken care of. It was worth every penny for us, from the crew and staff to the merchandise team and the band itself ☺️ KEEP IT UP!

Great event location; it's fun to watch an open-air concert here. The prices are relatively reasonable, and everything else is just right. What I definitely found a shame is that there's a sign at the entrance saying that not only is ticketing digital, but that you can also pay for everything else here digitally, along with a few payment providers. Once you're on the grounds, the only thing that's digital is the artists' fan shop. It's a shame; because of the sign, I decided not to get any more money. Hence the star deduction, because if you're honest, digital payments are the bare minimum in the digital age.

Nice place for the students to live here

I attended The Baseballs' "That's Alright" tour with my girlfriend (it was my first time, but she's been to the venue several times before). Towards the end of the show, despite the bar being closed (they had stopped serving drinks a few minutes earlier, which I hadn't noticed), I was treated very courteously. I had asked for water, as bringing your own drinks wasn't allowed and I was feeling a bit faint, and the woman behind the bar actually brought me a cup of tap water. I found that very kind and helpful. The photo shown was taken by a member of the security staff; he was also very friendly. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, and there's even an accessible toilet. The only potential obstacle is the external stairs leading to the indoor area, which can be a problem for people with mobility issues (wheelchair, walker, etc.). I would gladly return to this venue and highly recommend the Kammgarn event hall.

A great venue / feel-good place with great management (thanks Richard Müller and team) and many well-known artists and stars from all over the world. Particularly worthy of mention is the unique series “Nuit de la Chanson” - with its wonderful host Pauline Gnoc, who is a strong singer and always invites many interesting guests, especially from neighboring France. By the way, this series will soon be taking place for the 100th time.

Attention if you are an event organizer (or planning to rent something here privately)! The Kammgarn website states the following: "Please contact us so that together we can create a rental event tailored to your needs." In reality, however, private individuals cannot hold celebrations (such as company parties, birthdays, or weddings) here. An event with an artist is also not feasible. In my case, I wanted to host a two-hour (private show) by a well-known US artist. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible because the artist I chose apparently wasn't culturally valuable enough. I understand that you can't do everything in a cultural center. But unfortunately, the managing director decides what he considers culturally valuable for his location and what he doesn't. The other major problem here is the managing director himself. I've experienced a lot, but I've never met such a fundamentally aggressive, stressed, and bad-tempered person. I didn't receive a reasonable response to my first rental inquiry. Afterward, I tried to talk to Mr. Müller on the phone, but he communicated with me in a condescending and aggressive manner. Nevertheless, I tried to explain my event in two more emails and didn't address his previous behavior toward me. Nevertheless, his subsequent email replies were again in a very unfriendly tone. I can't understand this behavior. I observed all courtesies in my correspondence, and fundamentally, I wanted to host an event by a reputable artist. Accordingly, I would have also brought money to Kammgarn. It is absolutely incomprehensible to me what harm I could have done to Mr. Müller by doing this, and what right he has to treat me like this! My conclusion is, as a private individual, you shouldn't even consider making an inquiry here. If you are an event organizer, I would recommend booking any other location except this one.

Great place for events! Always a very competent team! No matter whether it is a cultural or political event, the Kammgarn team never disappoints! The prices for drinks are acceptable! I always enjoy going there. The offer is always great! Highly recommended!

Super nice concert by Laith al Deen. We almost felt like we were at a living room concert. You're very close to the band and you can see really well from everywhere. Everything is well organized, no long waiting times, neither at the cloakroom nor at the drinks counter.

Pretty good. Lots of space, good parking nearby. Don't forget to bring coins. Cloakroom available. Drinks a bit overpriced, but everything is standard.

The only negative point is the wheelchair toilet in the last corner. If you have to open it so that the wheelchair can go in or out, you have to be careful because the women's toilet is right next to the door. When someone goes out there, the wheelchair driver or his companion opens the door. Don't understand the concept. We also had to get past the overcrowded cloakroom. And unfortunately not everyone is considerate.

I've seen a lot of good concerts here. Unfortunately I don't like Karlsberg Urpils, but it's still a good location.

We were at Alain Frei's performance. I can recommend this crazy guy to you. His charismatic appearance was very positive. These ambiguous gags were really funny. The building itself was in immaculate condition.

High art. High culture. High price level. Jazz lovers rave about the jazz festival. Admission prices that are too high sometimes deter young people. No discount for severely disabled people at individual events & concerts :-((

Cool location. I like revived industrial halls. The use of colorful lights also has its charm. Sound was good and understandable. (It wasn't a music event!) I have to deduct half a point for the seating. But since you round up from 5, it remains 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟!

Attending the concert was great, only the organization of the bar was below all cannon, the artist was on stage for 5 minutes and there is no normal drink available (lack of cups) of course small, more expensive ones are available, a rogue who thinks bad things about it.

Great music venue! Attended a recent annual International Jazz Concert and was pleasantly surprised. Great acoustics, with friendly wait staff. Regional and international musical acts had played at this location.

Quite good as a venue, but the staff was extremely unfriendly and even rude. An example from our visit today. We were there with our son, 15, and had couples who were friends with us. After the event ended, everyone gave their empty glass and empty bottle to our son so that he could hand it over and keep the deposit. He then had to hear from the unfriendly employee at the counter that he had only collected the deposit and that's why they wouldn't give him the money, so we had to get involved. Above all, the way he was spoken to and then to us was simply not working. A big minus, especially since it wasn't the only encounter of this kind with the staff at the counter that evening.
