Flammkuchen were great, really cozy atmosphere, good selection of wines and delicious Friedrichstadt beer. Would come back at any time.

You immediately feel comfortable and very welcome. The tarte flambée tastes great and the beer is great too. The service is very familiar and relaxed. An absolute recommendation! We'd love to come back. Many thanks to the lovely owners for the really nice stay!

Yes, without restrictions. Small menu but tasty. Not the menu, which is hygienically accessed using a QR code, but the tapas and tarte flambées, not to mention the beer, which is brewed especially for the 1876 cabin and served in a bottle. If you don't have a cell phone, you will be given a tablet. Uncomplicated, open and, above all, authentic experience gastronomy, where perhaps the missing concept sets refreshing and uncomplicated accents. You immediately feel comfortable and extremely welcome. The canal garden even has its own jetty. Thank you very much for the relaxing afternoon. Nazis and AfD voters must stay outside. Good thing, no one can be sad about that!

What a classy establishment! The owners, who have a passion for Spain, are good hosts, so you immediately feel welcome. There's no need to mention that the "facility" is quite enchanting. It speaks for itself. I'll do it anyway. 😉 How incredibly beautiful and cozy is this outdoor area? Simply fantastic! Not to mention the beer machine. Great idea from you, which I would be happy to use. People like to come here. Again and again.

The restaurant was already closed, but you can sit in the beautiful garden until 11 p.m. It is divided into different levels and seating groups, very unusual, and there are vending machines with a good variety of drinks at the entrance. Very nice place to stay and right on the water 👍

Mega cozy place for a light lunch and/or a drink. Not a large selection of food, but their Flammkuche can really be recommended. Insanely delicious.

We just happened to walk past it and thought it was really nice! The ambience is a dream, the food and their own beer are delicious and the owners are very personable, friendly and nice. There is even a beer vending machine. We will try to stop by again during our stay

Unfortunately I didn't have dinner, I tried the beer, very tasty. But the atmosphere is absolutely unique and a visit there is highly recommended Today I enjoyed the delicious, very crispy tarte flambée. Sitting alone in the niche by the river is already e decelerating. Plus a 1621 and tarte flambée....... My little 4-legged friend was also peaceful, there was so much to see and sniff from the water. I'm still really excited and will come back next time I'm in northern Germany

The tarte flambée tastes great and the beer is probably the best in the world travel around the world to rate places. But here it was just perfect, even if the Edeka opposite should be demolished with its ugly bricks that are ruining the cityscape, dear Mayor.

This place is just like heaven. Especially when the weather is good, a dream place to sit outside and relax right at the coast of the river. Next time hopefully will try their Flammkuchens as well.

Were there last week when the weather was nice. Great atmosphere, located right on the water. Drank home-brewed beer, totally delicious, but not cheap at 5 euros, but reasonable. Will definitely come back.

We stayed one night in the Knuffelkamer, and it was SO fine! Very clean, well-equipped, with tea, coffee etc. We had been a little afraid of noise from what seemed to be a beer garden under our windows, but it was a very quiet and nice garden only for people staying. It must also for be a perfect place to stay for more than one night, as there was also a washing machine etc. We were surprised to find that there was also free parking in the town, and it was very easy to find a place to park. We can only recommend this place.

Very high prices, but seems to be normal for Friedrichstadt. a bottle of beer 0.33 4.70 euros, a simple tarte flambée between 12 and 15 euros. Irregular opening times, be sure to check the homepage. The beer machine is funny when it's not open. All the very bright, omnipresent marketing is a little too much for me, in my personal opinion.

We were in the garden in the afternoon...with a beer in our hands. Great idea, the beer/wine/spritzer machine and the wonderfully secluded garden. We then quickly made a reservation for the evening and were not disappointed. Warm people, cosiness and very tasty, crispy, fresh tarte flambée. It is thoroughly recommended.

Not only great holiday accommodation, but also a rustic pub atmosphere indoors and outdoors. A pearl in Friedrichstadt. From here we quickly reached Husum and other destinations. The ambience right on the canal is magical.

My husband and I were spontaneously in Friedrichstadt and saw this cute little restaurant. You can sit inside or find a nice spot outside by the water. The owner is super nice, everything is fresh and homemade. We had the tarte flambée and absolutely loved it. Will definitely come back here. You can also spend the night there, which we will use next time.

Very cozy place right on the canal of Klein Amsterdam. We really enjoyed our time here and enjoyed the beer and the tarte flambée. It's worth stopping by here and just slowing down.

Very, very nice owner, great ambience and delicious beer. We had a very nice and entertaining evening and had a very nice conversation with the owner. If we are in Friedrichstadt again, we will definitely stop by again! Since we didn't eat anything, I can't give a review, but the tarte flambée definitely smelled very tasty :-)

We spent two wonderful evenings in "our" beach chair on the complex with delicious tarte flambée, house beer and rosé wine - a nice place to relax! Great concept, pleasantly different, very informal and very contemporary, it was great fun and hopefully we'll come back to Friedrichstadt and the Kajüte 1876 at some point.

Auf unserem Auslug nach Friedrichstadt trafen wir auf dieses Einod. Urige, originelle Einrichtung und einzigartige Lage an einer Gracht. Herzlicher Service mit eigenem Bier - gebraut in der Region - und leckere Speisen.

Actually a nice pub with a small menu - very rustic dining room and very nice "beer garden" on the canal - the home-brewed beer tastes okay - but the price is okay, the tarte flambée was very tasty. Unfortunately, it feels like the owners are only open to their own whim - it's rolled out every day and you then have to look at the website ;). You can also use the outdoor area without any service, as long as the beer machine is working and has been refilled. It's a shame: The interior is only open once every year, and even on weekends it's usually open until 10 p.m. - food is often only available until 6 p.m. You have a bit of a feeling that the owners are just doing this as a hobby - sometimes the place is closed for weeks during the season. We'll come back anyway - and try our luck.

Super nice service and the location is very stylish. The outdoor area is very nice and right on the water. If you're out and about, stop by here and treat yourself to one of the delicious beers or a tarte flambée. You won't regret it. Was great!

Were there yesterday for a beer (very tasty) Tonight we're trying the tarte flambée, which we've only heard positive things about. To the “one star” reviews, I would say: take it sporty. Negative reviews from Nazzen and Schwurblers speak for you. LG from the Rhineland.

We stayed with Vera with two small children and felt so comfortable! The food was absolutely delicious, the outdoor area was beautifully designed! Lots of little corners to rest and eat. Vera was wonderful too! So friendly and super nice with the kids too! We would be happy to come back at any time and definitely recommend a visit there!

Unfortunately it was closed during the posted opening times (Friday 5 p.m.). We couldn't get to the machine either, the gate was locked. On Saturday we were able to use the machine, but only once because an error message arose afterwards. Personally, I didn't like the Donker that much. The Pilsner was out of stock.

Very unfortunate! Due to the political statement at the end of the card, the blatant intolerance is stated! This has no place in a restaurant or host! So a nogo restaurant! A non-AFD voter!

I can only rate the ambience and the service here. Beer vending machine with various beers and the local. Not exactly cheap at 4 euros a bottle but still highly recommended. The very nice ladies informed us about the different types of beer. The atmosphere is simple, relaxed, rustic but an absolute eye-catcher.

Yesterday we spontaneously decided to have lunch in the cabin and were not disappointed. We had the pleasure of enjoying the best tarte flambée we have ever tasted – and that is no exaggeration. The dough was simply sensational, and together with a glass of the wonderful rosé wine “Wilde Wonne” it was the perfect meal for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. The wine harmonized perfectly with the tarte flambée and rounded off the experience perfectly. We look forward to coming back soon and will definitely highly recommend the cabin to all our friends. The landlady and her family have the shop well under control! 😊☀️

What a beautiful place. Totally comfortable inside and out. There are great, individual seating options on different levels outside. Right on the canal you can watch boats or exchange a quick joke. 😊 The owners are incredibly nice people who sometimes take the time to have a chat. You should also enjoy the house beer 1621 or the chilled red wine and try the various tarte flambées. I can only recommend, go and enjoy! We'd love to come back!

Pleasant service and first-class own beer. We had booked a table at the Holländische Stube for the evening, so unfortunately we only had one beer. We wouldn't have done that. Next time in Friedrichstadt it will therefore be BOTH food and beer at Kajüte 1876 and no Holländische Stube (where both food and service were bad).

Totally cool location, the beer is unique, not an extensive menu, but totally delicious. Less is often more. Everything with great attention to detail.

If you simply want to have a nice evening with delicious food and service that is second to none in Friedrichstadt (and if you are in the area, please definitely take a look there), then you are in the very best hands with Vera and Jens in the Kajüte 1876. We spent two wonderful evenings with you. Thank you for being who you are. Stay and keep it as it is. It's perfect.

You want this restaurant in every town. The tarte flambées are perfect, delicious and freshly prepared. The selection of drinks is excellent. The entire area, outside and inside, is lovingly furnished. The operators are lovely and warm.

What a great place - they brew their own beer (good flavours) and also offer some great starters (we had the manchego cheese and olives) but the best bit is Vera’s flammenkuchen (thin pizzas with tasty toppings, both meaty and vegetarian) with a delightful couple running it. A must for any visitor!

Waren am Samstag (30.09.)das erste Mal in der Kajüte . Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir dann doch noch einen tollen Platz bekommen. Getränke und Essen sind ebenfalls nur zu empfehlen. Sehr schöner Garten in Terrassen angelegt, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten mit Blick auf die Gracht, sehr schön! Sehr freundliche Wirtsleute, sehr aufmerksam und kundenorientiert. Der Flammkuchen ist der Beste!!!! Wir kommen immer gerne wieder, danke.

Tolle Atmosphäre - man sitzt direkt am Wasser. Super herzlicher, entspannter Service und leckeres Essen. Eigenes Bier sowie große Wein- und Getränkeauswahl. Perfekt um einen schönen Sommerabend ausklingen zu lassen :)

Super Ambiente, das Personal total freundlich und zuvorkommend und man merkt die haben Bock auf ihren Job, der Flammkuchen ist der Hammer...nur das Flaschenbier Hausmarke 1621 0,33l für 4,90€ fand ich bisschen überzogen, da überlegt man sich schon, ein zweites oder drittes zu trinken. Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!!

Bist Du in Friedrichstadt, musst Du unbedingt in die Kajüte 1876 einkehren. Der Laden lag genau gegenüber von unserem Hotel, darum dachten wir uns, schauen wir abends noch fix auf nen kleinen Happen vorbei. Die Location direkt an der Gracht - der Oberhammer. Der Service / das Personal - superlieb. Und auch das Bier ist einen Versuch wert - sehr lecker. Geile Idee mit dem Bierautomaten, den man auch nach den offiziellen Öffnungszeiten nutzen kann. An dieser Stelle nochmal ganz lieben Dank für die 'beiden letzten Flammkuchen NACH Küchenschluss' ;-) Die Teile sind ein Grund wiederzukommen. Danke und weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Kleines Lokal direkt am Kanal in Friedrichstadt. Man kann direkt am Kanal an kleinen Tischen bzw in kleinen Sitzecken sitzen und sein Essen zu sich nehmen. Bestellt wird im Gebäude, Getränke nimmt man sofort mit, Speisen werden gebracht. Es gibt Flammkuchen in allen Variationen, die sehr gut schmecken. Ebenso gibt es vor Ort einen Bier-Automat zur Selbstbedienung. Die Bedienungen ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Toilette (leider nur eine für das gesamte Lokal) ist geräumig, sauber und ordentlich; in endlos Schleife läuft ein Lied über Friedrichstadt. Als Zwischenstop bei einem Ausflug sehr zu empfehlen. Wobei die Preise doch schon etwas höher angesetzt sind.

Super Ambiente direkt am Wasser, gutes Bier und eine große Auswahl an Flammkuchen. Ein Besuch bei einem Ausflug nach Friedrichstadt ist Pflicht!

Was für ein tolles Konzept. Wunderschön angelegt mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Total gemütlich zum Verweilen.
