I was there for the first time today and thought it was great! Very nice owner, who impressed everyone with his service and was very friendly. The food prepared by the wife was very, very tasty. Price/performance absolutely fine. We paid 30 euros per person with drinks and in return we had lamb, rice and a minced eggplant dish. Great for a delicious meal with friends. Since we didn't manage to do everything, the rest was packed up for us. Very nice

Very small, simply but lovingly designed location with a few tables (there are also outdoor spaces in summer). We had never enjoyed Egyptian cuisine before, so I can't make a comparison, only give an assessment of the taste of the dishes. All dishes were put together for us as a recommendation from the house and were freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The owner who prepared and served was very friendly and a good hostess. We will definitely come back.

The hospitality and homely charm of this restaurant, which looks inconspicuous from the outside, makes every gourmet's heart beat faster. We tried lamb and chicken. The pigeon must be pre-ordered. An exceptional little restaurant. As soon as you enter the restaurant you immediately feel like you are in Egypt. The decoration and ambience are reminiscent of your favorite Egyptian restaurant from your last vacation. The typical television with Egyptian music or series also hangs above the door. My heart swelled. The friendly lady took a while to arrive, but that too is authentic 😉 after all, the clocks always tick a little differently in Egypt, and the lady was alone. As a menu you get a QR code and also recommendations from the house. We had starters (bread and dips) and main courses (Tajin with potatoes, meat and vegetables) as delicious as if my Egyptian friend had cooked it herself. For dessert we had a great 'Umm Ali' and tea, along with a warm conversation with the lovely lady. In short: kollu meya meya, ashufik tany inshaallah PS: If you're expecting chic here, you'll be disappointed. Here you will find honest and authentic home cooking.

This food was amazing! You could just taste that everything was homemade. We ordered number 8 & 10, which ended up being so so good. The woman working in the restaurant was very kind too. Just keep in mind that the restaurant is quite small, but if you’ll have to wait for a seat, its definitely worth it! This was one of our favorite meals since a while, so very glad we came here.

The first Egyptian restaurant to serve me, honestly, the food is amazing, and Amal Warda, whose food and cooking are amazing. And the atmosphere was so dark, one was sitting in the house of a nation and another nation was cooking, feeling a terrible sense of alienation in every sense of the word. I began to visit them all the time.

Yes, this Restaurant wars with Hammer! This is a huge war and the atmosphere is rich in color. The Service war top, all waren super freundlich. Yes, I have a good taste, war be sure to eat it, eat more desserts. We have a lot of good things and other places such as this, so this restaurant will not be installed in other places. Honestly, the restaurant was amazing, the food was exceptionally good, and the atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. The service was excellent and the guys were very helpful. Every dish I tried was better than the last, whether appetizers, main dishes, or even dessert. If you love good food and are looking for a place to relax, you should try this restaurant.

Unfortunately, it looks exactly like it tastes. Everything is dusty and dirty and the existing comments are probably fake. There is no menu so the final price is played with. Europeans in particular have to pay more. Very very dissatisfied and real Egyptians find this store an embarrassment to the Egyptian people.

Great food, nice people. İ was there once only and we had to wait quite some time for the food to come, but it was worth it. And as far as I know, the cook had some emergency case, that's why it took longer than usual. Check out the great, authentic Egyptian cuisine yourself. You'll love it.

We went there because of the mega reviews. Since the owner spoke to us so nicely, we stayed and sat outside. At first we didn't want to eat here because this place seemed dingy and this was confirmed when I went to the toilet. I had to go through the kitchen to wash my hands in such a dirty toilet. So dirty, like it was a car repair shop toilet. We ate there anyway because we had already ordered and it was also very tasty. But from a hygienic point of view, the kitchen was absolutely not of German standard. The bill for such a location was incredibly high. About €53 for 2 people, with main course, dessert and 2 small still waters. Rice is charged extra. Mineral water is available in plastic bottles. Conclusion: Food good, owner very friendly, wife cooks, but value for money is not at all possible for this atmosphere! And the cleanliness in the kitchen and toilet urgently needs to be improved! Access to the toilet would have to be relocated!

The food is delicious and clean and the service is fast and very nice. Today we met Madam Amal and she was hospitable and treated the customers as if they were her family. You could feel the atmosphere of the streets of Egypt in the place. Don't miss out on eating some of Umm Ali's sweets before you leave. I will definitely visit the restaurant again more than once.

The food was really really tasty. 10 out of 10 points. The shop owners are very nice and attentive. The shop is small. About 10 couples fit in there at the same time. I particularly liked the atmosphere. Everything in Egyptian style. I'll go back soon. A couple came in who only wanted to try vegetarian dishes. Their wishes were read from their lips. Overall, I felt very comfortable here. Great!!! 🤗

I had a great time eating the most delicious home made food at this restaurant. The atmosphere was awesome, I definitely liked the historical decoration. The service was literally more than I had ever experienced. The owners did their best to take care of everyone. The quality of food was super good. Everything was very clean. I reserved the table in advance & all went smoothly without waiting. I loved the hospitality of this place, it was very homely and warm. Absolutely recommended :)

Ich habe das Restaurant gestern zum ersten Mal besucht und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und authentisch, wie aus Ägypten eben. Die Inhaberin ist auch sehr zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich 🙂 ich komme gerne bald wieder!

Als Reaktion auf die negativen Kommentare von Ainaz y Milad waren wir auch dort und hatten eine Reservierung für 19 Stunden und warteten 30 Minuten. Ich muss leider sagen, dass Sie beide einen Fehler gemacht haben, als Sie am Tisch gesessen haben und wir hinter Ihnen hergekommen sind. Der Besitzer hat uns zuerst bedient, weil wir eine Reservierung hatten und auf den Tisch gewartet haben. Du bist respektlos aufgestanden, hast das Getränk auf dem Tisch stehen lassen und einfach das Restaurant verlassen. Dies ist ein Familienrestaurant, das von zwei Besitzern geführt wird, kein McDonald's, und wir stimmen überhaupt nicht mit der Aussage überein, dass es ein schmutziger Ort ist. Das stimmt einfach nicht. Das Hotel ist sauber und wunderschön im ägyptischen Stil eingerichtet. Und was das Essen betrifft, es ist das köstlichste Essen, das wir je probiert haben. Die Köchin ist eine so nette Dame und engagiert sich für ihre Kunden. Wir waren schon mehr als 2 Mal hier und wohnen weit weg von Düsseldorf, einfach weil wir das Essen, die Atmosphäre und den Service lieben. In response to the negative comments from Ainaz y Milad, we were also there and we have reservations for 19hrs and we were waiting for 30min. I am afraid to said that you both go it wrong when you sit at the table and we came after, the owner attended us first because we have a reservation and have being waiting for the table. You disrespectfully stand up and left the drink on the table and just left the restaurant. This is a family restaurant runs by 2 owners not a McDonald's and we totally disagree on the statement that it is a dirty place, it's just not true. The place is clean and beautiful decorated with Egyptcian style. And about the food, it is the most delicious food we have ever tried. The coocker is so lovely lady and dedicated to their clients. We have come more than 2 times already and we live far away from Düsseldorf, just because we love the food, atmosphere and service.

5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich kann nichts sagen was hier nicht schon positives erwähnt wurde. Man hat sich direkt Zuhause gefühlt und das Essen war einfach sehr lecker. Plätze sind begrenzt also im Zweifelsfall etwas Wartezeit mitbringen aber es lohnt sich 👍☺️
