Es dauerte etwas bis wir die Speisekarte überblickt haben aber dann konnten wir, bei sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern, bestellen. Essen war hervorragend. Kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen. Alles frisch zubereitet. Preislich etwas auf der teuereren Seite, aber das ist es mir definitiv wert gewesen. Gesund, frisch lecker und Proteinreich essen kann man hier auf jeden Fall.

Richtig gutes Essen. Reichhaltige Portionen, auch wenn die optisch erstmal nicht so aussehen. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Klare Empfehlung!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit ausgesprochen leckeren Bowls, selbst gemachten Säften und vielen anderen gesunden Dingen mit sehr schönem Ambiente, netten Sitzmöglichkeiten tollen Service und das Ganze mitten in Kempten. Ein richtiges Highlight für die Stadt.

Wir waren zu zweit. Wurden nett begrüßt und es wurde sich direkt um uns gekümmert. Beim Essen wussten wir nicht recht und haben direkte Empfehlungen bekommen (wir waren das erste Mal da). Der Laden war voll und wir mussten trotz dessen nicht so lange auf das Essen warten. Frisch warm und mit perfekter Würze. Eine schöne Dekoration. Einfach alles war super. Sehr empfehlenswert und ein weiterer Besuch wird definitiv erneut stattfinden.

Das Joyce ist zu jeder Zeit eine tolle Anlaufstelle, denn die vielfältige und sich stetig wechselnde Karte sowie Wochenkarte lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Ich habe immer das Gefühl, dass das Essen mit frischen und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet wird. Ich verstehe das Konzept - einen Service würde dennoch begrüßen.

Beim ersten Mal muss man sich mit dem Konzept etwas vertraut machen (selber zusammen stellen), aber der Geschmack, das Ambiente, die frische der Speisen und die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten haben uns überzeugt. Zudem ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut okay👍

You can create your perfect pasta dish from a wide selection of sauces and toppings. The pasta is homemade and absolutely delicious! It tasted incredibly fresh and tasty. The owner was super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

First of all: I'm generally not a fan of having to get my own food and drinks in a restaurant. I'm also not impressed by these "vibrating plates" that indicate when the food is ready – I'd prefer a more elegant solution here. But well, that's apparently part of the concept and shouldn't have a negative impact on the review. The selection of bowls is large, so there's something for everyone. The portions are generous and plentiful. While they advertise homemade pasta, I had the impression that the tortellini on the daily special was store-bought. The sauce wasn't quite my cup of tea, and some of the food was quite oversalted. The salad bowls are significantly better in comparison and are generally more recommendable. The ambiance is very well-designed overall – modern, cozy, and attractively designed, which makes the stay pleasant. All in all, a solid concept with strengths but also room for improvement – ​​especially in terms of taste and the overall experience.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful and accommodating, especially with small children. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Favorite bowls <3 Delicious combinations, tasty sauces (truffle mayo, for example), the most delicious shrimp and salmon ever! Plus, a super friendly team that looks forward to welcoming their guests and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere! It's great that you exist!

We returned to Joyce after a year. The welcome was warm, and I was able to discuss everything my son could eat. They're knowledgeable about food allergies and make sure everyone who eats here is safe. Thanks again to the entire team. We'll definitely be back when we're in Kempten, and I can 100% recommend the restaurant and the team.

And you could see that the staff really know what they're doing :-) I wanted to share that with you. You can speak to the staff or call them anytime; they really know what they're doing.

We were passing through Kempten on a stopover and stopped by for dinner based on the good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The order was quickly chosen and placed. Great stylish restaurant with healthy food

The service in the restaurant was very friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented. The quality of the food was very fresh. The dishes were healthy and delicious. The combinations were creative and the portions were generous. We would be happy to return. We highly recommend the bowls on the menu.

Chill place, good food. If you're a foreigner, plan to use bargeld (cash). They don't accept Visa or mastercards outside the EU. Also they don't accept AMEX.

On a trip to Kempten, we discovered Joyce and were quite impressed. You can order in person at the counter or at a terminal, and then you receive a receiver that vibrates and flashes as soon as your food is ready. Although we were there in the summer, we were glad that the summer of 2025 in the Allgäu was rather cool, as there were only seats available on the first floor, and it was very warm there, with only a small window open. Air conditioning should be installed urgently. The food, however, was really great: You can choose from several dishes, some of which you can customize. I think it's great that they have some vegan dishes and options—great! We had four pasta dishes, each with spelt pasta, and were surprised by the portion sizes. We ordered two regular portions and two small portions for the kids. None of us could finish our portions; even for me, as an adult, the small portion would have been almost too much. But that's my only criticism. The rest is just right: a nice atmosphere (of course not comparable to an expensive restaurant) for a chain restaurant, delicious and sometimes very healthy dishes (e.g. spelt pasta with tomato sauce, smoked tofu, and edamame), and even though it was very busy, we didn't wait long for the food.

We were there again in a few months. The food was just as good as before. We took takeout this time. We'll be going back often.

I tried to change something 30 seconds after ordering. It wasn't possible because it was already being prepared, so why did I wait 20 minutes anyway? And when we got home, we realized that two ingredients were missing, which I had paid for. We've always been satisfied up until now. But unfortunately, this isn't possible. We'll look elsewhere in the future. It's a shame.

The atmosphere is extremely pleasant, and the staff is distinguished by their friendliness. Upon entering the restaurant, there's a tablet on the right for convenient food ordering. The menu is diverse, and you can also choose additional toppings according to your individual preferences. A special highlight is retreating indoors and enjoying the moment to the fullest.

€20 for rice, salmon, leaf salad, and 3/4 slices of cucumber – way too expensive! Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. Other bowl shops in big cities are better. We ordered Lillet, but they forgot it, and we had to ask twice.

Today was my first visit to Joyce. Since it was already afternoon, I easily found a seat. You can sit outside at small tables along the sidewalk or inside on two levels. I opted for the fitness bowl with fried tofu as a topping. The portion was reasonable for the price, it was really delicious! And the ingredients were fresh and attractively presented. It's self-service with a pager/buzzer. I was able to have my espresso macchiato with oat milk (perfectly foamed!) - it was even brought to me - nice service! I'll definitely be back soon - I absolutely have to try the juices (I didn't see them until I'd already ordered), and the Fritz Kola was already on the table. See you soon! :-)

It was abnormally warm upstairs, the employees at least looked like they were enjoying life, but the food... an absolute disaster, the curry: a bowl full of rice with a dollop of curry (unimaginably awful service for that price, unripe mango in the bowl). The only good thing about the food were the jokes you could make about its inedibility and the small ghost in the Fritz Cola. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND

We had two rice bowls. One was too salty, the other had a very strange flavor mix with way too much lime mayo, mango, and lettuce. We didn't finish it.

I would like to see more vegan/vegetarian alternatives, e.g. vegan chicken etc. instead of just smoked tofu... maybe appropriately seasoned tofu instead of just the thing from the package. Portions are huge, you can see the small version in the photo.

The restaurant is very nice and also offers opportunities to eat in peace on the 1st floor. The food (I had a bowl of homemade noodles) was good, but it didn't blow me away. I might have expected more 🤷‍♀️ but I think it's great that they offer many different ingredients and bowls and also make the pasta themselves. When I'm there again, I'll try a rice bowl :)

We eat here regularly and are actually big fans, especially of the Fitnessbowl. However, a while ago the bulgur in it was extremely salty - and I say that even though I like salty food. We told the waitress, who responded really well and even offered us a coffee as an apology. The next time the bowl was perfect again. Unfortunately we had exactly the same problem today: the bulgur was so salty that it was inedible. I only noticed it when I got home and couldn't eat the bowl at all. Very disappointing, especially because I really enjoy visiting the restaurant. I hope that more attention will be paid to consistent quality in the future.

I actually like the Joyce. However, today was a bit strange. As always, I ordered one of the fruity curries and when I ate a quarter I bit on something very hard that almost broke my tooth. I took it out of my mouth and couldn't identify what it was. It looked like a stone. I didn't think anything of it and continued eating. However, it happened again about halfway through. I didn't finish eating. In addition, my companion ordered a curry with chicken but it was prepared without the meat. Afterwards I went to the kitchen and said they forgot the meat. The chef said no, he didn't, it was ordered without. I said that wasn't true and he said he would like to put some on it. First of all very nice, I didn't think anything. Afterwards the woman from the review came and wanted an extra 4 euros for the chicken because she hadn't noticed it before. I find that quite unprofessional because it was her mistake and my companion then had to pay extra for it. Doesn't work at all!

The sauces were great and sufficient. The food is prepared quickly and thoughtfully. Keep it up. Unfortunately it has always been too loud for me. Otherwise I would be there more often. The homemade pasta with salmon was great and I would eat it again. Unfortunately, the Asia Bowl was quite dry and consisted of 80% dry rice. You can also skip the quinoa sticks, they are more reminiscent of crispbread and the salad was unfortunately quite stale and brown. Overall, it's totally okay, but nothing special.
