Hamburgerei Kempten in Kempten (Allgäu)

The employee who served us this morning was very nice, and our sarti were almost perfect. The owner also seems very nice, and I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Kempten. For all matcha lovers, it's great that they now serve matcha here. What I find particularly great is that they've recently started offering brunch, even for late risers :)

The food was delicious. The waitress, Katharina, was especially friendly. The food arrived quickly and tasted great.

I ate here with my girlfriend. She had the "Hamburger" and I had the "American," and we shared a portion of fries. Our drinks were a Paulaner Spezi and a peach iced tea. The food was generally good – I enjoyed the "American," but I wasn't entirely convinced by the patty. The plain hamburger didn't really excite me either. If I were to go back, I'd probably go for the "American." The service, unfortunately, seemed rather rushed. Our drinks didn't arrive until the food had already arrived, and we had to get our own cutlery after searching for it and finding it by chance. This somewhat detracted from the overall impression. The price was €41 for two people. While that's okay for today's prices, I personally found the food a bit too expensive and not entirely convincing. Overall: A solid, pleasant experience, but the value for money could be better.

We were passing through Kempten and wanted to check out this lovely, friendly restaurant. Very tasty burgers 🍔 Excellent beer and matcha drinks. The restaurant is also very nice, and a pleasant place to sit together. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

The burgers are freshly prepared, and the homemade sauces are a highlight. The value for money is good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Very friendly and attentive service makes you feel immediately welcome. We'd be happy to return.

I have no idea what was going on, but after waiting outside for 40 minutes without even getting a menu, we left. So we can't say anything about the food, except that the burger at the next table looked ridiculously small, and the man said he'd been waiting an hour for it and hadn't gotten the fries he'd ordered either.

Very tasty burgers and very nice service

We actually stumbled upon the Hamburgerei by chance and were able to enjoy their brunch. We each had the Egg Drop Sandwich (scrambled eggs in a brioche with avocado cream, sandwich sauce, and pickled pink onions) and it was a dream. I'm not usually a fan of avocado cream or cocktail sauce, but this combo was amazing. The service was also super friendly, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area! Oh, and try the homemade lemonade; I had elderflower and that was soooo delicious! We'll be back and try the burgers next time!!!

Great burgers, great fries, everything is great

Four of us were there for a small but wonderful birthday party – and what can I say? The service was absolutely amazing! So warm, funny, and attentive – it was like having your best friend behind the counter. You can tell right away that someone here enjoys what they do (and probably also has a secret contract straight from burger heaven). The burgers are amazing, juicy, fresh, and creative. But what really made the day special was the incredibly friendly service. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening – we'll definitely be back.

The food was all excellent. We were also very happy with the children's menu; the price/performance ratio was very good. The children even got something to draw right away. Unfortunately, I can't say much positive about the service. We reserved a table at 5:00 p.m. We ordered and ate our food, but we reordered something that took a long time to arrive. It should be noted that the waitress was the only one in the restaurant on Sunday evening, both inside and outside. She came to us at 6:15 p.m. and we have to leave now because she has another reservation at 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately, this wasn't communicated beforehand; there were seven of us there. We couldn't order dessert because we had to leave.

I ordered 2 garlic parmesan sauces for the fries and one garlic parmesan extra but I only got one and the other is something else

I'm not a big meat eater but they have really delicious homemade burgers here, top quality, I was absolutely full after the burger, service was super friendly.

It's been a while since I've had a truly good burger. The prices may seem a bit high, but they're justified by the quality of the ingredients. The house ketchup is on another level, delicious.

Great quality meat, the burger of the day (Trojan) was very well-balanced in flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the sauces and salad toppings were fresh and crisp. This was our first stop on our way to Bolzano. Parking is conveniently located around the corner, about a 2-minute walk away, and the service is friendly and the interior is chic and well-maintained. Please franchise this restaurant in the Cologne area 😜 A great start to our vacation! We'll see where we eat on the way back 😏😊

I've never eaten better burgers than here. The meat is fresh and quality and is so tasty that it surpasses all my previous burger experiences. The topping of the burgers also demonstrates excellent quality and taste. The store is very well located and has a nice and modern atmosphere A single point of criticism that I have often noticed is that (not all) some counter staff look at their cell phones a lot, which unfortunately led to delays, for example. taking orders etc. Otherwise super friendly, nice staff. I can definitely recommend it.

Price performance ratio great. Burgers are homemade and of top quality. The children can put together their own burger. There is an extra children's menu. Have been here a few times and everything is always great. Nice, helpful staff.

The burgers are very good as well as the fillet steak which I can only warmly recommend!! Actually fried to perfection, slightly floral on the inside, just as it should be! My niece immediately got pens and something to color in and the Sperl Rush Hour for €5 was also worth it ☺️

The service was subpar. The goat cheese was missing from 2 orders, which was only answered with “That’s right. “It’s funny that they’re just noticing that now” was commented. A cheese was then delivered 15 minutes later. We had to organize food and drink menus as well as cutlery and napkins ourselves. There were no glasses for drinks, etc. etc.

If there were zero stars, I would give them. I was sent away rather rudely with the explanation that there were no more free seats. I'm not in the catering business and there are certainly reasons why you don't let guests into a half-empty restaurant, but here too a friendly explanation would have been nice. Just saying as a tip for next time. Such a harsh rejection makes a guest look pretty stupid and doesn't make a good impression.

The staff tried to provide good service, which was certainly challenging due to the staffing situation and resulted in longer waiting times. However, the burgers are very tasty, especially since the sauce in this case was a chutney, which I hadn't experienced before. The toilet, however, was just mediocre.

Cozy, nice and tasty, and also very inexpensive!!! What more could you want... Discovered it by chance while strolling through town and since it spoke to me, I stopped in... The service wasn't particularly friendly, unfortunately the coleslaw we ordered never arrived. The burgers were cold, as were the fries. The fries tasted old and the sweet potato fries were soggy. Overall it wasn't worth it and I'm disappointed. The prices weren't justified either and paying extra for cheese, etc. was a waste.
