Das DIDO in Kempten überzeugt nicht nur durch seine erstklassigen Speisen (das Vitello Tonnato war ein Traum!), sondern auch durch die gemütliche Atmosphäre. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Geburtstagsfeier im Dido. So herzliche Gastgeber mit tollem Service und hervorragendem Essen. Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.

Ich liebe die Spaghetti a la Chef! Jedes Mal nehme ich mir vor, ich esse was anderes, aber dann wirds doch wieder die Chef. Leider geil!

Wir lieben dieses kleine Restaurant! Besonders unvergesslich war für uns, dass wir hier letztes Jahr nach unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit gefeiert haben. Ein wirklich besonderer Moment in einer unglaublich schönen und herzlichen Atmosphäre. Auch unabhängig davon kommen wir immer wieder gerne vorbei. Das Restaurant hat einen ganz eigenen, rustikalen Charme, und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen ist wirklich hervorragend: Die Karte ist bewusst klein gehalten, aber dafür sehr durchdacht. Die hochwertigen Zutaten sorgen dafür, dass jedes Gericht unglaublich gut schmeckt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Der Abend war sehr enttäuschend.Wir hatten Spaghetti Chef und Antipasti. Die Spaghetti schmeckten nicht wirklich nach irgendwas ,die Garnelen waren tot gebraten und das Antipasti bestand aus Dosenpilzen und Discounter Salami und Schinken ,bitteren Auberginen und Fenchel.Wir haben noch Brot dazu bestellt.Das Brot war alt und hat geschmeckt wie abgepacktes vertrocknetes Discounterbrot .Wir haben eine Gabel von der Pasta probiert und sie zurück gegeben sie war einfach nur geschmacklos .Das kann ich selber besser und dafür brauch ich nicht essen gehen. Auch das Antipasti und Brot ging teilweise zurück. Wir haben die volle Rechnung bezahlt für was wo wir gar nicht gegessen haben und der Chef war sehr ungehalten und frech.Das passiert uns nicht noch einmal.Wir werden dieses Lokal nicht mehr betreten.Sowas würde bei einem RICHTIGEN Italiener nie passieren einfach nur enttäuschend. kein vernünftiges Essen ,komplett überteuert ,das nicht mal gegessen wurde und eine saftige Rechnung.Geht gar nicht! Haben wir so noch nicht erlebt. Danke für nichts!

Haben dort mit 26 Gästen einen runden Geburtstag gefeiert. Großes Lob. Sehr freundliche Beratung bei der Speisenauswahl, Fleisch, Fisch,Vegetarisch - alle waren mehr als zufrieden. Alles top frisch zubereitet. Sehr freundliche und flexible Bedienung am Tisch und einw fantastische Räumlichkeit, die der Feier den richtigen Rahmen bot. Ganz herzlichen Dank an die Gastgeber! Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Mega schönes kleines Restaurant mit toller Speisekarte für Jung und Alt. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Es stimmt einfach alles und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Essen ist perfekt, man zahlt 11€ und kommt mit nem vollen Magen raus. Der Müsli is zwar nicht so geil aber sonst ist dieser Laden fürs Frühstücken echt gut.

Dorade vom Feinsten! Perfekt gewürzt, auf den Punkt gegart und einfach ein Genuss. Klare Empfehlung!

Leider war der Service nicht kundenfreundlich. Keine Begrüßung, kein Auf Wiedersehen, keine Beratung zur aktuellen Speisekarte, keine Nachfrage zum Essen, der Weißwein war zu kalt. Es hieß es gibt kein Tiramisu und dann gab es doch noch 2 Portionen. Das Tiramisu und der andere Kuchen waren schon zu lange unabgedeckt in der Kühlung gestanden. Es war leider trocken und schmeckte alt. Schade!

Dear Dido team, thank you very much for the great service and the great food for young and old! After our civil wedding, we celebrated our wedding with our wedding party of 26 people as a closed group in Dido. The service in advance (discussion of the process and the small menu, antipasti, wine selection, etc.) and on the day of the wedding was simply perfect. All of our wishes were solved by the team. Our guests were also enthusiastic about the delicious food. Even for the little ones (1 to 3 years old) a delicious individual dish was conjured up.

Very good Italian-inspired food and a wide selection of wines in a great atmosphere. A perfect place for a social evening with friends or a date night. You can feel that the restaurant is run with heart. Little tip: Vitello Tonnato is a must!

5/5 stars - Perfect restaurant for celebrations We celebrated a birthday party here with 23 adults and 6 children and were completely thrilled! The food was fantastic - all dishes were served at the same time, which is not a given for such a large group. The starter platters were fresh and appealing, and the main courses – Spaghetti Chef, vegetarian pasta, beef fillet and fish – were of excellent quality. Everyone was thrilled! The service was also excellent. The owner and the staff were extremely friendly and sweetened our afternoon with their attention and warmth. I can highly recommend this restaurant – perfect for celebrations or just an enjoyable meal!

Small but nice – that describes the Dido restaurant perfectly. The clear menu offers a good selection of dishes with fresh ingredients and good quality at a reasonable price. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly service, which underlines the familiar and cozy atmosphere. I love the breakfast there – in my opinion a highlight in terms of value for money. I think the open kitchen is great because you can watch it being prepared. However, the smell of food could be a bit disturbing for some guests. The changing daily menu keeps the offering exciting, and I also like the opportunity to enjoy a coffee outside in the sun. However, there are only a few places, so it's best to reserve 😉 Overall, a great little restaurant that I would happily recommend.

We can only warmly recommend the Dido! We celebrated our anniversary and retirement celebrations there in private both last year and this year and were completely satisfied. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The team were extremely professional and accommodating, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared - there was something for every taste. We would particularly like to emphasize the flexibility of the team, who listened to our wishes and did everything they could to ensure that we had an unforgettable evening. The Dido restaurant in Kempten is simply great! The food is incredibly delicious – every bite is a pleasure. The service is great: attentive, friendly and fast. Breakfast is particularly recommended – perfect for a good start to the day. Simply great! Therefore, unfortunately, I cannot understand the recession experienced by my predecessors. We would love to come back!!!

Very nice and friendly waiters. The boss cooks, among other things. Regional products and changing daily dishes. It's a small place but has a nice atmosphere. The music, mostly Italian, invites you to dream. Spaghetti Chef is recommended. With Scampi Knobi Pepperoni and good olive oil. I always like a little more garlic, which isn't a problem. You can see how the cooking is done because the kitchen is in the guest room, so it is an open kitchen. If you are a larger group there is no need to make a reservation. A well-coordinated team.

When we were there there wasn't much going on. We were still ignored by two waiters for a good 15 minutes. If the owner doesn't need it, that's fine. We got up and left. We won't be coming back either

Food was ok. However, service was aloof and I found racist comments simply bottomless. The statement “if we speak Serbian or come from Serbia, we should leave the restaurant” shocked me. It's a shame... because the restaurant itself is very cozy and the food tasted great, but I won't visit this restaurant again (even if I'm not originally from Serbia).

I went to the Christmas party at Dido in Kempten with my work colleagues. There is a small menu that changes daily. When I asked what I could eat because of my gluten intolerance (celiac disease), the waitress told me that Gorgonzola sauce was not possible because it contains milk. Unfortunately, gluten was confused with lactose here. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I discovered the mistake straight away and so I was allowed to eat the pork medallions with Gorgonzola sauce and vegetables. As an alternative I would have had beef or fish. However, there is no gluten-free pasta or pizza. The taste was super delicious! Everything is freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. I can highly recommend the restaurant if you check beforehand whether there is anything gluten-free to eat. 👌🏼

The friendly, competent service and the excellent cuisine (here the boss cooks personally) make Dido a must with the risk of addiction 😀

I'm a big Dido fan. A great little restaurant with a lot of Italian charm and actually good food. My last reservation was unfortunately disappointing: although we reserved it half a week in advance, our table was in the restaurant next to the freezer despite the good weather. When I commented that I was cold there, an unfriendly waiter commented that I should just put on my jacket. The fish we ordered was dry. The waiter Leon, who was as always friendly and extremely accommodating, saved my evening, otherwise I would probably have left again.

We just ended up at Dido by chance, it was the surprise of the day. Exceptional good food, really really delicious. The service was pleasant and warm. It's a shame that we won't be back in Kempten any time soon; the filled plates at the neighboring tables also looked extremely tasty. Recommendation from the bottom of my heart and palate.

We are regular customers at Dido. But what happened to us today is beyond outrageous. We had made a reservation for breakfast and when we had just finished our second hot drink, the waitress came and said: I have to pay you now, I need the table. So we were more or less thrown out. Such insolence has never happened to me before.

Ich liebe diesen Laden! Deshalb 5 Sternen in allen Bereichen, Ambiente, Essen und Service! Wenn man das Gefühl vermittelt bekommt von einem Zuhause mit gutem Essen und gutem Service hat man gewonnen. Ich bin hier zweimal die Woche zu Besuch, und vermisse es wenn es mal Betriebsurlaub gibt. Dido plus Team- ihr seid großartig und steckt Herz und Leidenschaft herein, und das schmeckt und spürt man! Wir waren Samstag beim Essen. Dir Karte ist nicht groß, aber es schmerkt vorzüglich. Der Hauswein kostet das Glas 3,50 Euro, was uns auch positiv aufgefallen ist.

Sehr stielvolles, gemütliches und familiäres Restaurant. Der Chef kocht alle Gerichte frisch hinter der Theke, und alles schmeckt vom feinsten. Die beiden Bedienungen sind immer freundlich, aufmerksam und vorkommen. Es mangelt an nichts. Dieses Restaurant kann ich nur weiter empfehlen, ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Wer Wert auf gute Qualität und gutes Essen legt, ist hier genau richtig.

Kurz gesagt: Der beste Italiener in Kempten! Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und immer für Spaß zu haben. ;) Der Laden ist klein und gemütlich (wie in einer kleinen italienischen Trattoria). Man kann den Chef bei der Zubereitung beobachten und auch die Lebensmittel sind frisch und haben eine hervorragende Qualität. Zudem schmeckt alles sehr lecker! Egal ob Frühstück, Fleisch, Fisch oder Pasta. Immer einen Besuch wert!

War gestern das erste mal mit Freunden dort zum Mittagessen und es war leckerste mediterrane Küche , mit vielfältigem, frischem Speisenangebot !!!!
