I had dinner with my daughter at Jim Block's today and had an extremely negative experience. First of all, a completely wrong invoice was created: I was supposed to pay €32 for a kids menu and a normal cheeseburger menu. After I asked the staff about it, I was told that it was an "oversight" and I ended up having to pay €25. The question arises how often such mistakes have happened without anyone noticing. The food itself was also a disappointment: far too salty and the taste was anything but convincing. In addition, the store really smells awful when you enter - an impertinence! Overall, a very disappointing visit that I definitely won't repeat. Customer friendliness and quality should urgently be revised here!

Philly Cheese steak is actually really tasty but for €16.80 (!!) MUCH too small. A cheeseburger makes you feel fuller. Too bad.

The employee didn't feel like working at all. The garlic bread was cold, the fries were poor quality. The burgers were delicious and the restaurant itself was nice.

Never again! Pre-ordered 90 minutes in advance because I had a tighter time window. At the pickup counter I was only directed to the checkout where there was a longer line. Finally it was time, we didn't know anything about a pre-order. Only when you looked into the system did you see my order, which was only then recorded. Instead of a sincere apology, there were only excuses that they hadn't had time to check online orders in the last few hours (um... what?) and then I experienced further ignorance, I wasn't prioritized and was given 20 minutes after the actual pickup I wordlessly lukewarm burgers... the food doesn't deserve such an amateurish workforce. This juice shop of a branch has seen the last of me, thanks for nothing.

The phili cheesesteak is recommended. The kids menu is neat. The location has definitely improved its quality. The ambience is also very pleasant. The ordering process with only one display could lead to traffic jams. However, there is also the option to order at the counter. You can argue about your taste in music. There was probably something trendy going on.

Jim Block at Langenhorn Markt is absolutely underground. I tested some Jim Block. But the one in the Langenhorn market is always cold. And muddy. The people there are unfriendly. I also have to say that I stutter more. I don't enjoy it myself but I don't want to be rushed, so I always feel a bit rushed. I can completely understand. If it were full. But whenever I was there. There was hardly anyone there anymore. Oh well,

This used to be a good restaurant, but now things are constantly being forgotten and the restaurant smells like sewage more and more... Enjoy your meal

Selbst wenn ich in den USA bin: dort ist ein Glaubenskrieg: Käse aus der Tube/Dose oder Scheibenkäse auf einem Philly-Cheese-Steak Sandwich. Ich glaube, der alles ruiniert. Ich werde das nächste Mal nur einen Philly-No-Cheese-Sandwich bestellen.

Very nice branch with really great employees. Even a little chat was possible these days, when everything is hectic. The food without words, Jim Block just how you love it, simply fantastic. Please stay as you are, this is how a visit is fun.

The Jim Block in Langenhorn is actually quite nice for in-between times. As far as parking is concerned, it's not that easy to park nearby, there is a parking garage next door, but you have to walk a little around the corner. Otherwise it's actually a pretty good alternative for something better like McDonald's.

We ate here today (October 24th, 2024) around 6 p.m. and unfortunately have to say that the service and the food were miserable. The employee who served us didn't seem to be fully engaged. The restaurant was occupied by two other tables besides our table, so it wasn't full. The employee only has to distribute the drinks and food correctly on the trays, which unfortunately was not possible. The Philly Cheesesteak is announced “large” with cucumber salad. We haven't even gotten it yet. When we asked, the employee handed us the cucumber salad. And now hold on tight: There were exactly 5 cucumber slices in the mini container - a joke! And the whole thing for 13.90 euros!!! Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all! So you get more quality and service for less money in other “burger restaurants”. So it's better to go somewhere else - just a recommendation ;-)

To save time, here is a short list of experiences: -Unfortunately the vegetarian patty doesn't taste good -The portions are not small, but they are absolutely inadequate for the price compared to the fast food competition -Staff doesn't even greet customers even though you say hello first -With the Caesar salad, the Parmesan was 'forgotten' and was already ready to hand on the counter. But it was only handed over upon request. -The beef in the loaded fries was quite tough -The garlic bread was just lukewarm and not particularly crispy. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing for a €40 purchase for two people.

Whenever we are in Hamburg, we have to stop here. There is free parking around the corner. As always, very special high quality citizens with delicious cole slaw or garlic bread

Burger itself is really great and good quality too. Unfortunately, the fries are becoming increasingly oversalted and the prices have again received a drastic increase. Toilets very clean Edit: Meanwhile (09/13/24) the price of the Hamburger menu has risen again by €1. The quality has also deteriorated over time, so that fries are usually served oversalted, lukewarm and not crispy. Really a shame... Edit 10/2/24: Reply to Jim Block: I've already done this twice. I was always offered to replace the fries, but that's not necessary if I'm already finished. It would be nice if we learned from this and improved the quality of the fries in the future. Unfortunately, this has not yet happened. It's a shame that the price increase isn't taken into account in the answer here... I actually always enjoyed eating with you, but I'm starting to not have the feeling that you're taking the feedback completely seriously... So I won't really be back come, at least not to the branch at Langenhorner Markt.

I was there for the first time last night and was immediately impressed. We were well advised and had a delicious menu on the table. It was clean and quiet. When our food was ready, a street name was called out that we had written on the piece of paper, which I thought was really good, instead of always just being a number 😀, like others do. Jim Block won't see me again for now. For a salad with chicken strips as a menu including a drink and fries €23.70!! And as a menu 1 cheeseburger with fries including a drink €14.30? Incomprehensible. This is not the Block House restaurant!! I'd rather go to McDonald's three times! All tray delivery trolleys full! There was no service at the checkout because the tablets had to be covered at the same time. Tables dirty, mayonnaise on the seats. Guys, not like that! 😤

I find eating here really disgusting. I ordered food here today for over 30 euros and it was beyond disgusting. I am very dissatisfied I couldn't even finish my burger. Because it tasted so terrible. The mini cheeseburgers and the Philly Cheese don't taste good! Far too much sauce and the taste is inferior because you can't taste the ingredients. :( The price is not justified, the food at the kebab next door is better.

Simply disappointing. For two take-away orders, the composition of the order was incorrect. After calling on site, we were assured that next time we would get what we had forgotten for free. But no money back. Unfortunately, no consideration was given to making the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich without jalapeños; So unfortunately that was nothing. The accompanying “cucumber salad” consisted of three thin slices. A joke for the asking price. What's particularly unfortunate is that the feedback via email was never responded to. Embarrassing for a restaurant that celebrates its neighborly service. Luckily there are other good burger joints nearby.

I've been there a few times now and have to say that I've never been disappointed. The preparation usually doesn't take long, but it is always freshly prepared. The atmosphere is clean and modern. Pleasant house music plays in the background at a relaxed volume. The man I usually place my order with is also a great service person and a good exit sign for the store. I really haven't found a single point of criticism so far and I just have to say thank you for that.

It's always worth coming here. The quality is consistently good and the selection is absolutely sufficient. It is an absolute recommendation, especially with the family!

The price-performance ratio has decreased significantly over the years. It's actually a shame, since people used to go to JB more often. Nowadays you only go to JB once or twice a year.

I have eaten at many Jim Blocks, this is the one I liked the least, the burgers are not as good as at other Jim Blocks, in addition to saying that the prices have increased exaggeratedly.

It smells very much like old grease. We were expecting a restaurant, but this is more of a fast food restaurant. That's fine, but we were looking forward to something different.

A fellow citizen with a migrant background complained in a very rude tone because he had already been waiting 10 minutes for his order. The store is packed. Food tasted very good, there was nothing to complain about. The cashier was in a bit of a bad mood but otherwise everything was fine.

Ein gemütlicher Jim Block. Das Essen ist wie immet super. Früher hatte man hier das Essen an den Tisch bekommen. Jetzt muss man es abholen. Es war ein gelungener Besuch.

War zum ersten mal hier, die Menükarte ist übersichtlich,die Burger gut beschrieben. Das Essen war zügig fertig,von sehr guter Qualität ,hervorzuheben sind die Pommes, richtig angenehm knusprig und trotzdem Goldgelb zubereitet,die besten die ich seit langem gegessen habe.Der JB Cheese war ebenfalls sehr gut und lecker. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Von mir gibts ne klare Empfehlung.

War heute vor Ort. Habe mir ein jb hot Cheese Menü bestellt für 14.50 Euro. Die Pommes war mir zu Salzig und viel zu kurz...das waren 2 bis 3 cm kleine Pommes. War froh mal einen 5 cm Pommes zu er wischen. Der Burger war lecker aber viel zuviel sosse, zerfällt einem in der Hand. PS die Gerichte werden ausgerufen und man muss sie sich selber an den Tisch mitnehmen. Keine Bedienung...Preis Leistung stimmt nicht wirklich, ist nicht gerade günstig. Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen und auch selber nicht mehr in Anspruch nehmen ...dann doch lieber einen Döner oder einen Burger von der Konkurrenz....sorry Ich muss nochmal auf die Pommes zurück kommen...ein Minuspunkt zu klein und vollkommen versalzen, das geht garnicht...Habe jetzt noch immer den salzigen Geschmack im Mund. Um 22 Uhr.

Ich war schon häufiger dort. Leider war diesmal das Essen nicht so gut wie davor. Die Pommes waren recht salzig. Der Burger war zwar schmackhaft, aber nicht ein Highlight.

Yati icin gelmistik, gezi esnasinda karsidaki donerci yerine tercih ettik. Soslar basarili, ozellikle et kaliteli. Ozellikle patatesini basarili buldum. Hayatinizda unutamayacaginiz bir burger degil ama iyi bir burger yiyeceksiniz.

Es ist super Lecker und sehr Freundlich und sehr sauber und man kann super mit Kindern hin gehen nur der Salat könnten sie echt ändern in eisbergsalat wieder der andre schmeckt echt nicht und man bekommt bauchschmerzen vom Salat

Die Erwartungen sollten sich an einem typischen Burgerladen auf der Basis der Systemgastronomie orientieren. Das Angebot und das Ambiente hebt sich von den internationalen großen Wettbewerbern kaum ab.

Ich hätte lieber das Bestellterminal genutzt, aber es war wieder (oder immer noch) außer Betrieb. Aber dieses Mal gab es kein Problem bei der Aufnahme meiner Bestellung: kein Missverständnisse dieses Mal. Sehr schön, dass das Knoblauchbrot wieder gewachsen ist.

Ich mag mittlerweile lieber die Bestellterminals. Hier fand ich die Bestellung stressig. Es kostet alles extra und so schnell, wie der Kassierer alles runterrattert, kann man gar nicht folgen. Warum bestelle ich einen Hamburger und will keine Pommes und einen großen Salat wollen. Warum kann man nicht normal davon ausgehen, dass man einen Beilagensalat will. Lecker war es.

Auch sein das die einen schlechten Tag hatte. Okay ich habe dann fertig bestellt.. und die Bürger waren schon kalt. Also wie kann das Sein. Man könnte sagen. Ja dann geh eben nicht mehr hin oder so. Doch wie ich oben schon sagte. Ich gehe ja gerne Mal hin ne. Ich will nur nicht geträngt werden. Obwohl ich sagte. Das ich sprachlich defizite habe. Und das gestern war nicht das erste Mal. Und ich will nicht mit kalten Bürgern nach Hause gehen.

Wir wollten als Großfamilie (6Personen) nach der Corona Isolation endlich endlich bei Jim Block essen. Es aßen noch Gäste, der Koch war noch voll dabei, aber Speisekarte und Kasse war bereits um kurz vor 21 Uhr geschlossen. Wir hätten auch passend in bar bezahlt, aber leider war das nicht mehr möglich. Schade, wir kommen ganz aus Henstedt-Ulzburg! In Barmbek alles kein Problem also ab nach Barmbek. Langenhorn hat genug Geld scheinbar.

Da vi kun skulle holde et lille møde, valgte vi dette sted til frokost og snakke forretning. Vi valgte hver sin burger, min med ost. Sjovt at overdelen manglede og til 8.70 Euro en lidt høj pris, så smagen skulle hente det hjem, hvilket den også gjorde. Meget fint kød og ingen problem med at få det enten medium aller gennemstegt. Salat og tilbehør var anrettet ved siden af, og så kunne man selv lægge sammen. Pom fritter var en mulighed som tilbehør, de var gode. Der var ikke mange gæster, og vi fik serveret vores mad. Helt fint. 4 stjerner fordi maden var god, prisen måske lige i overkanten, men ok for den kvalitet vi gik. Kommer gerne igen.

Man kann sich natürlich über das Konzept beschweren aber die Produktqualität ist nicht mit mcd vergleichbar. Das sind Super Burger und da muss die Auswahl m.E. nicht gross sein. Billig ist es sicher nicht, habe für Bürger, Bier und Coleslaw 11.90 bezahlt. Ich würde mir ehrlich gesagt statt dem Carlsberg ein deutsches Bier wünschen. Viele Bewertungen sind unfair. Den Laden kann man empfehlen!

Wir hatten 3 versch. Burger (für knapp unter 20€! Bezahlt mit Karte), leider waren die Patties vergleichbar mit McD, geschmacklich OK, aber folgt nicht dem Premium Konzept und Preis. Den Kundenservice finde ich schwach! ich wollte bei Essensausgabe Ketchup haben, Das Ketchup extra kostet, ist natürlich nicht sehr kundenfreundlich, mache ich aber noch mit... wenn dann aber meine kartenzahlung abgelehnt wird (der Betrag sei zu niedrig). Auf meine Rückfrage, was wir nun machen (kein Cash dabei), hieß es, dann gibt es keinen Ketchup... Ach ja, die Atmosphäre und Einrichtung haben mir gefallen, aber die 2 Punkte aus der Überschrift sind mir wichtiger...
