Hey, I think Jim Block is great. The food is really good, and the staff is always super friendly. I'm here often and have never experienced bad service or food. Quite the opposite, in fact. I can't understand the bad reviews at all, sorry.

Good service for a snack bar/fast-food burger joint. However, you absolutely must avoid the Beyond Meat version!! That's unfortunate, although every other provider has reasonable and tasty options. Why Block sticks with such a poor version and charges its customers an additional two euros for wanting to eat meat-free is inexplicable. But you have to understand it that way. They don't want vegetarians in a snack bar.

You can have a good lunch there on a Sunday afternoon. Just be very tolerant of the children's noise.

After what we have seen recently what is going on in your cold storage rooms, I have to change the Jim Block :( very sad but more than unhygienic

I visited Jim Block again after a long time. The menu has been reduced and changed for the worse. I ordered a cheeseburger. The bun tasted sweet, the patty was almost unseasoned, the dressing didn't match the dish, the fries were thin-cut, had lots of dark spots, weren't peeled properly, and had too much skin on them. My companion got a cracked glass. When we asked the server about it, they shrugged their shoulders and replied that it would be thrown away after use. Thanks, but NO THANKS. Never again!!!

Very tasty, good service and a very nice atmosphere.

The staff wouldn't let us eat in peace, coming back several times to try to open a window to no avail. As a result, the atmosphere was very tense. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the vegetarian burger.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Everything was lukewarm, the Phillichees looked like a disaster. The bread was torn to pieces, and everything was only edible with cutlery. The baked potato was just sitting there in a bag, which I'm not used to; they're usually wrapped in aluminum foil so you can eat them properly. It was my first time ordering there, and I expect it will stay that way.

The food was very good, the wait time was short, the decor was nice, and the restrooms were very clean. The ketchup was a bit vinegary, and the staff was super nice.

Overpriced for what you get and worst when five guys

The food tastes bad, the ketchup tastes unusual but not good enough, and the burger was way too small for the price. The food is probably healthier than at other fast food restaurants, but that doesn't change the fact that it tastes so bad.

The food was delicious, as always. But the service was top-notch. The kids got something to paint, and even our dog was taken care of.

Due to the general increase in prices, we've unfortunately limited our visits to about once every three months.

By far my favorite branch. Totally modern and attractively decorated, and the staff are incredibly friendly :) The food is always freshly prepared and the quality is top-notch. I love coming here!

I really liked it! Clean and quiet. There are tables outside, but they are right next to the street. The food I ordered was very tasty. Burger with potato bun and fries!

Good service, friendly staff, and unlike at Jim Block on Dammtorstrasse, you can still order food at the restaurant at 9:30 p.m. That's not possible at Dammtor. A new, younger colleague at Jim Block Dammtor prefers to finish work on time and is more likely to annoy the customers. We've eaten there several times, but not for now. Luckily, there are alternatives.

Burger almost cold, salad carelessly cut into large pieces, dressing was on the salad!

Disabled accessible toilets are clean. The burgers seem to be getting smaller and smaller, you have to look for sauce. 1 small piece of lettuce or stalks which has no place on a burger. My partner had the mushroom burger, we counted a total of 5 mushrooms, the pattis were very dry. Given the chance again it wasn't tasty, what a shame! Staff was nice to my daughter, a real plus.

Overall everything was good. We enjoyed our burgers, service was good. The gentleman made a mistake with the size of my drink but corrected it straight after I told him, so all good. Burgers were tasty. Fries crispy. Baked potato nice and soft. We were happy with everything so it deserves the 5 stars.

The store's best days are behind it. Fries old and cold, cheapest frozen quality, lots of brown spots; Burger extremely soggy because bread was also saved. Prices are way too high, some of the tables were dirty, There were hardly any guests there and that was around 1 p.m. Staff shout loudly. The music was also too loud for me, maybe the employees are hard of hearing. This place doesn't fit the block group at all! Overall, Jim Block's concept is outdated, which is why the stores are mostly empty.

Philly Cheese steak is actually really tasty but for €16.80 (!!) MUCH too small. A cheeseburger makes you feel fuller. Too bad.

I ate the Phillie cheesesteak sandwich, which I immediately liked, and the delicious thin crispy fries were a real treat Nicely prepared and I was really full, service was quite good but not perfect, could be improved :) Many thanks to the chefs, they really do a stressful job but they do it very professionally and conjure up delicious citizens🥰

There's too much going wrong here for me. Everyone has a bad day, but here I felt ripped off and not taken seriously. Anyone who sells themselves as a premium citizen house (at least according to the price table) should make sure that the processes are in place. But from 3 customers onwards things get hectic: Got a Sprite that I didn't order. When I complained I was told "yes, that's hers." I didn't want a Sprite and didn't order one. What is something like that? My fries were the wrong ones... (normal instead of sweet potato) And then the ultimate disappointment: The cheesesteak just tasted exactly like a jbminicheese... It was terrifying. When asked whether “everything was ok”, I expressed the criticism described above. In return I received an annoyed eye roll and something mumbled. Later she came with the right things and apologized half-seriously. Thank you for the experience... What a shame.

I'm there today, I'm not happy, I have mushrooms, burgers with cola and fries on the menu. I paid almost €18 but the French fries were burnt like spaghetti and cut very small and the burger was very soggy. Exactly the bread and the salad. Nothing is crispy. It's annoying, too much money and no good food

Very tasty burgers, unfortunately the portion of fries has become smaller and you now have to order the delicious coleslaw salad separately. Overall actually too expensive...

Premises were clean and tidy, service was very nice. However, we were quite disappointed with the two burgers (BBQ Burger and Beefless Burger). Unfortunately, both were relatively tasteless, there was just something missing.

The waiting time was around 15 minutes, even though there was a lot going on. Location also looks great and it is clean. Tables are also wiped down regularly. The toilets are also clean. I had dinner with my daughter at Jim Block's today and had an extremely negative experience. First of all, a completely wrong invoice was created: I was supposed to pay €32 for a kids menu and a normal cheeseburger menu. After I asked the staff about it, I was told that it was an "oversight" and I ended up having to pay €25. The question arises how often such mistakes have happened without anyone noticing. The food itself was also a disappointment: far too salty and the taste was anything but convincing. In addition, the store really smells awful when you enter - an impertinence! Overall, a very disappointing visit that I definitely won't repeat. Customer friendliness and quality should urgently be revised here!

Never again! Pre-ordered 90 minutes in advance because I had a tighter time window. At the pickup counter I was only directed to the checkout where there was a longer line. Finally it was time, we didn't know anything about a pre-order. Only when you looked into the system did you see my order, which was only then recorded. Instead of a sincere apology, there were only excuses that they hadn't had time to check online orders in the last few hours (um... what?) and then I experienced further ignorance, I wasn't prioritized and was given 20 minutes after the actual pickup I wordlessly lukewarm burgers... the food doesn't deserve such an amateurish workforce. This juice shop of a branch has seen the last of me, thanks for nothing.

The phili cheesesteak is recommended. The kids menu is neat. The location has definitely improved its quality. The ambience is also very pleasant. The ordering process with only one display could lead to traffic jams. However, there is also the option to order at the counter. You can argue about your taste in music. There was probably something trendy going on.

Jim Block at Langenhorn Markt is absolutely underground. I tested some Jim Block. But the one in the Langenhorn market is always cold. And muddy. The people there are unfriendly. I also have to say that I stutter more. I don't enjoy it myself but I don't want to be rushed, so I always feel a bit rushed. I can completely understand. If it were full. But whenever I was there. There was hardly anyone there anymore. Oh well,

Very nice branch with really great employees. Even a little chat was possible these days, when everything is hectic. The food without words, Jim Block just how you love it, simply fantastic. Please stay as you are, this is how a visit is fun.

The Jim Block in Langenhorn is actually quite nice for in-between times. As far as parking is concerned, it's not that easy to park nearby, there is a parking garage next door, but you have to walk a little around the corner. Otherwise it's actually a pretty good alternative for something better like McDonald's.

We ate here today (October 24th, 2024) around 6 p.m. and unfortunately have to say that the service and the food were miserable. The employee who served us didn't seem to be fully engaged. The restaurant was occupied by two other tables besides our table, so it wasn't full. The employee only has to distribute the drinks and food correctly on the trays, which unfortunately was not possible. The Philly Cheesesteak is announced “large” with cucumber salad. We haven't even gotten it yet. When we asked, the employee handed us the cucumber salad. And now hold on tight: There were exactly 5 cucumber slices in the mini container - a joke! And the whole thing for 13.90 euros!!! Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all! So you get more quality and service for less money in other “burger restaurants”. So it's better to go somewhere else - just a recommendation ;-)

To save time, here is a short list of experiences: -Unfortunately the vegetarian patty doesn't taste good -The portions are not small, but they are absolutely inadequate for the price compared to the fast food competition -Staff doesn't even greet customers even though you say hello first -With the Caesar salad, the Parmesan was 'forgotten' and was already ready to hand on the counter. But it was only handed over upon request. -The beef in the loaded fries was quite tough -The garlic bread was just lukewarm and not particularly crispy. Overall, unfortunately very disappointing for a €40 purchase for two people.

Whenever we are in Hamburg, we have to stop here. There is free parking around the corner. As always, very special high quality citizens with delicious cole slaw or garlic bread

I really enjoyed the burger and sweet potato fries. The ingredients were of a high quality, and the burger was juicy. They use the same kind of touchscreens seen in cheaper fast food outlets. Personally, I like this as it is a good way to show options and have them in your native language. To collect the order you have to listen to a street name, rather than order number. I was there for the first time last night and was immediately impressed. We were well advised and had a delicious menu on the table. It was clean and quiet. When our food was ready, a street name was called out that we had written on the piece of paper, which I thought was really good, instead of always just being a number 😀, like others do. Jim Block won't see me again for now. For a salad with chicken strips as a menu including a drink and fries €23.70!! And as a menu 1 cheeseburger with fries including a drink €14.30? Incomprehensible. This is not the Block House restaurant!! I'd rather go to McDonald's three times! All tray delivery trolleys full! There was no service at the checkout because the tablets had to be covered at the same time. Tables dirty, mayonnaise on the seats. Guys, not like that! 😤

I find eating here really disgusting. I ordered food here today for over 30 euros and it was beyond disgusting. I am very dissatisfied I couldn't even finish my burger. Because it tasted so terrible. Simply disappointing. For two take-away orders, the composition of the order was incorrect. After calling on site, we were assured that next time we would get what we had forgotten for free. But no money back. Unfortunately, no consideration was given to making the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich without jalapeños; So unfortunately that was nothing. The accompanying “cucumber salad” consisted of three thin slices. A joke for the asking price. What's particularly unfortunate is that the feedback via email was never responded to. Embarrassing for a restaurant that celebrates its neighborly service. Luckily there are other good burger joints nearby.

Pleasant house music plays in the background at a relaxed volume. The man I usually place my order with is also a great service person and a good exit sign for the store. The price-performance ratio has decreased significantly over the years. It's actually a shame, since people used to go to JB more often. Nowadays you only go to JB once or twice a year.

I have eaten at many Jim Blocks, this is the one I liked the least, the burgers are not as good as at other Jim Blocks, in addition to saying that the prices have increased exaggeratedly.

It smells very much like old grease. We were expecting a restaurant, but this is more of a fast food restaurant. That's fine, but we were looking forward to something different.

A fellow citizen with a migrant background complained in a very rude tone because he had already been waiting 10 minutes for his order. The store is packed. The friendly employee didn't allow herself to be provoked! Top! The burger and fries were really very good. A completely different level of quality than Mc and BK. We'll be back👌
