If you like this kind of American burger, they're highly recommended – there are unlimited toppings and refills. The price is extremely high, otherwise they'd get more stars, especially since the self-service system is suboptimal (the employees will eventually shout your number in English). There's an excessive amount of packaging waste.

I bought a shake. The worker didn't press the lid with the cream on properly, and suddenly part of the shake was on my shirt. The worker just laughed... I didn't find it that funny.

Unfortunately, we were dissatisfied several times because operations didn't seem to run nearly as smoothly as in the other branch in Hamburg. Longer waiting times and actually not that good in terms of taste. Due to the fourth negative experience today with the branch on Jungfernstieg, waiting almost forty minutes in total and then receiving the wrong food, we will avoid this Five Guys branch and prefer to go to the other one.

Expensive and bad Burger soggy Fries cold and undercooked

Personally, I find 5Guys a bit overpriced. I've had better and more varied burgers elsewhere. I'm not saying the burgers are bad, but the price/performance ratio and organic meat are better. The guys don't provide any information about free-range farming or the type of farming. Only Scotland. Sounds nice, but not enough for 5 stars.

I had to wait 20 minutes for a drink. Nobody spoke a word of German, only English, and I was completely ignored. Outrageous prices.

The food was quite good, and the fries and burgers were significantly better than at the big M. Unfortunately, all the tables were very dirty; after speaking to the staff, one table was quickly cleaned. There was no atmosphere; the chairs were uncomfortable, the music was extremely loud, and the food was served in a bag with half the fries inside.

I must say that the bread was cold i didnt like that. Just the meat was ok. The soda was good you can chose different flavours.

The burgers were dry, the restaurant was noisy like a factory and processing the order is completely impersonal due to digitalization. At the end, just the order number is called out in the already loud atmosphere and you can pick up your bag. This is the only contact with the staff. I've experienced this much better elsewhere.

I've been living in Hamburg for 9 years, I didn't know the place, I ate there for the first time on a trip to London. The experience was incredible, the crispy fries were cooked perfectly and the burger was perfect, the meat was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was pleasant. At the JungsFertig branch in Hamburg it was terrible, the burger meat was very well done, the potatoes used were floury for frying. French fries have to be festive. I was disappointed and complained, the staff was helpful and attentive... Although it's a fast food restaurant, the burgers there are gourmet classics and the fries are famous. I hope his products become as good as those of other franchises again.

Delicious burgers. Everything freshly made. There is no frozen food area, so no frozen parties, just fresh minced meat. Top! However, freshness has its price.

The burgers were a bit disappointing, didn't taste like much and were quite expensive. There are no spices here, you can't even taste the mustard. The milkshake and fries, on the other hand, were great. And then I would also like them to clear away the rubbish left by people who don't take it away themselves, so that it doesn't look too rubbish - especially outside.

I tried to convince myself of Five Guys as a big burger fan. And what would I have to find out like so many others? This chain from the USA is completely overrated. At least with us. The taste was OK but you can't go wrong with enough fat, cheese and meat. Unfortunately, a burger consists of more than that. I chose 4 sauces. I was only able to find one of them on a burger. Either it has been forgotten or so little has been done to it that you can leave it alone. Of course, none of it tasted good either. The price is also awesome. For almost 15 euros, such a small burger where you only taste the meat and cheese is simply overpriced, even in this day and age. You get a better burger for max 10. You have a petty less, but everything else is more and the taste is added to it like sauces and vegetables and awesome rolls. Service only speaks English. Also a minus point. It's nice that they can speak English for everyone who doesn't speak German, but it's strange and strange in Hamburg, one of the most famous German cities in the world and also the home of the burger itself, that a citizen can't order in German if they don't want to use these dirty machines. The negative point is that the machines only accept card payments. This means that if you want to get rid of cash, aka your change, you have to speak to an employee in English. Well, when it comes to prices, it's probably a long time since we're talking about change. If I had gotten something to drink and some small fries, I would probably be around 25 euros. So I know a few real burger shops where you can get the three things for under 20 euros and the citizen is worlds better. If I had to give the burger a number from 1 to 10 it would be a maximum of 6 or even a 5. Why? Because I got a lot of shit out of it :)

The atmosphere was like a waiting room at the main train station. There were two of us there and we ordered two small burgers, two milkshakes, and one fries for almost €46. No gold leaf, no truffles, no caviar. They were just ordinary burgers. Nothing special and nothing new in terms of taste, so the price is completely unjustified. The only things that were really great were the fries and the milkshakes. The employee was very emotionless and seemed annoyed, even though we were the first customers that day. Five guys = not nice guys.

Bunch of clowns I ordered within opening times (22:27) and these clowns cancelled my order at 23:30 like an hour later ? In the meantime it said “in preparation” Don’t even bother ordering from them. For them it means 23:00 they close the door and are going home. Classic German location in that case just friggin close your orders at 21:00 ? I’ve never been so disappointed so happy these morons don’t get 50€ from me . They don’t deserve your cash

Mega good burgers and it feels like a little vacation to the USA. When there is a lot going on it gets a bit loud and hectic.

You can order the burger and fries separately and customize the ingredients to your liking. The quality is high but it is expensive. The fries in particular are legendary.

So, cheeseburger with medium fries and a milkshake. €27.45. You're at a loss for words. Even if you eat on site you get everything in a paper bag into which you simply throw the fries. The burger wrapped in aluminum foil. After eating you actually have to take a shower. There is no cutlery. The taste of the burger was delicious, but for the price and presentation it's not possible. Never again!

I always order here when I'm on a business trip in Hamburg. Ordering has always been quick and reliable. So far everything has always been complete, fresh and delicious. The prices are a little higher than other fast food chains, but in my opinion they are justified.

I was actually happy to eat at Five Guys again. The shop was very empty, I'm not surprised. Because very expensive burgers, service really wasn't that great (mood among all employees was very depressed), just enough, as I found it. Places not clean, everything super uncomfortable. I really can't recommend it. 3 stars only because it tasted okay. 33 euros for 2 simple burgers, a little fries and 1 refill drink. Tip: Don't take iced tea. Speaks German! You are in Hamburg, in Germany! My in-laws didn't understand what the cashier was asking and when they called out "twentyeight" they had no idea it was about their order. Nobody would start a business in the USA and speak to customers in a foreign language!

Ich bestellte zum dort essen bekam aber eine Tüte.Die Pommes lagen wahlos in der Tüte.Es gibt dort anscheinend keine tabletts.Gegessen habe ich mit untergelegten Servietten auf dem Tisch.Burger plus fries knapp 20 Euro.Unglaublich schlecht und mit nichts zu empfehlen. You get exactly what you can expect. Good burgers, excellent fries and a few peanuts to tide you over.

For the price you pay for your food it is an OK place. Staff is kind but struggle with German so be prepared to just be called in English. I think they do their best but probably understaffed. The place is a mess, very dirty and the atmosphere is that of a cheap petrol station. I know they wanted to bring the “American vibe” but this feels like the American vibe of a horror movie. Fries on the floor, dirty tables and the horrible white coloring is just terrible. For a hamburger to cost around 15€ at least you get a good portion, but with lots of oil and looking terrible. Tastes fine. The fries are ok but too salty. The amount of trash you produce here is also incredible, but well, it’s like good old American tradition…

A little on the dear side of things for a fast food joint but the cheeseburger was mellow in flavour and there was a lot more fries in the bag that I could munch but they tasted great and the texture was on point!

The classic Five Guys vibe and burgers as you would expect.

No problem with fries in a paper cup while half of them fly around in the bag... no problem with eating soggy fast food straight out of the aluminum foil without a tray... no problem with concepts without service staff... no problem with the food serving atmosphere, but If, without all these amenities, such a small burger costs €15 and such a small hot dog costs €10, things become critical. Of course I don't know what rent you pay in the middle of HH, or what you pay for your goods, but hey, I really expected more food for the money (bigger burgers and hot dogs, mind you... not more fries).

We asked for a vegan burger and this is what they served us 😭 no patty, no bread, just a bad salad basically. Unacceptable in this year and especially in Germany, where pretty much every food place has vegan options. Worst eating experience in Hamburg.

First visit, I'm keen to experiment, so just popping in at this prominent address was actually expecting something special. You also get: - Ambiance is between the slaughterhouse and the train station hall where you are "queued" by a barrier. There are tons of pictures on the walls where people boast that they are the greatest. - When I looked at the price list I couldn't stop spitting, but now I was there, so I ordered a bacon burger with small fries: €18.25. For heaven's sake, what delicious things would I have at the stalls at the Christmas market or in one get restaurant - The entire staff obviously doesn't know a word of German and I find it difficult to speak of service - You need a little patience because the burger is assembled live. However, the bacon and mushrooms were collected from a bowl and neither of them looked freshly grilled. - You are handed a paper bag with fries flying around and a burger wrapped in aluminum paper. It can look like that at the places, because there is no tray. Stock up on servings. There is no cutlery. That's why it's best to eat the burger in aluminum foil and put it in the bag with the fries. - In my opinion, the food was bland, tasteless and the burger was dry. A culinary experience far below what you are used to from other burger houses that charge similar prices. I just don't know if that's what they meant at first, was it megalomania, a scam or a tourist trap on Jungfernstieg? But I learned something again: I don't have to have it, sorry.

I just wanted to see why there were so many people there. Then let the good reviews on the wall entice you to order a bacon dog and a shake. It was noticeable that the service only spoke English, but I didn't think it was a big deal. What was much worse was that my “bacon” only consisted of black crumbs that tasted burnt. Five Guys is a little more expensive than comparable burger joints, but you'll definitely get full, which isn't something you can necessarily say about the competition. The ambience is simple and cool, which doesn't appeal to everyone, but I don't think lingering is part of the chain's concept. The staff is friendly and works quickly. The fries are very good.

I ordered a "veggie sandwich" and got some mushrooms with onions between a burger bun. Together with a cup of fries it cost me €13.70. For vegetarians or someone who wants to eat out with their vegetarian friends, I recommend any other store.

Ordered burgers, fries and coke here on November 30th. The service was very friendly, hence 1 star. Unfortunately the tables are all dirty and greasy. The burgers were cold and served in a bag, you just dumped the fries into the bag without a container. The cheese on the burgers wasn't melted and the patty wasn't cooked all the way through .. Burgers were wrapped in aluminum foil...everything was packed in cardboard and paper...extremely much garbage...the drink was not carbonated, I suspect the machine wasn't set correctly. The drink was a syrupy liquid...plus it was extremely loud in the shop . We paid over 40 euros...for aluminum foil, cold burgers and fries that were dumped loosely into the brown bag...

The food was okay, but the service wasn't even mediocre: hardly any (no) German and the order was taken incorrectly. When we asked, we got the right burger that we had previously ordered. Unfortunately the tables/seats were not clean either. Sorry, but we won't be coming back. For the money (70€ for burgers for 3 people) we will go somewhere else.

I think world goes to a crazy atmosphere if this place is famous. I want to try thei hamburger after i read ‘best burgers in Munchen’ news on a website. I ordered a cheeseburger. And their famous patato. Really it was a big disappoinment. I think McDonalds has more good burgers from this ‘Five Guys’. All was trash. And price is very expensive. One poor burger + patato and a beer was 22 €. I know you will eat more good and a real meat with this cost. I want to say only ‘dont go’. And atmosphere, decoration. My schools cantin was better their devoration. Price must be 5 € maximum. Eat a real unknown burger in somewhere but dont try like me! I really dont like.

I found the food quite expensive, unfortunately the quality wasn't the best. I thought the burger was the best, it reminded me of a slightly larger version of McDonald's burger. I know what the decor should represent or what style it is but I didn't find it very pleasant and you should be prepared to order there in English.

Super delicious! Simply something special! We used to go to Five Guys all the time in London and now we have it too. The staff speaks English, but they can also speak German. I found that super authentic. I will send my son there more often - he should then place the order in English.
