The food was very tasty, but the burgers are very small. Prices are exaggerated (paid €17 for burgers and fries). Tables and seating not cleaned but greasy. Good extractor hoods as the fryer grease was not noticeable. Service speaks English. And I got spicy fries.

Friday evening 8 p.m. The burgers were very good as usual. The small fries could have easily passed for a large one! One of the two drink stations was only half usable because the rest was empty. All in all, no problem. The only thing that was really uncool was the condition of the toilets... so dirty that you thought it must be... a shame. Maybe clean again.

The burger was delicious and the fries too. Unfortunately, what bothers me are the prices, which are definitely excessive for me. The selection of drinks is also special; you can mix and refill them as you wish. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately I don't give it 5 stars because it's not enough for the price.

Expensive, loud, smelly of food, dirty, artificial lights, colors... BUT the food and drinks (extra flavors) are good and plentiful... a little USA feeling, that's what you get!!!

Super delicious food. Prices like in restaurants. The place is super clean and the workers are always very friendly and in a good mood. I just couldn't find a high chair for our one year old baby.

Restaurant is clean and the burgers taste damn good! Drinks to refill and recommend the Coca Cola Vanilla 👌🏻 Number statements are always a little difficult to understand, but not too bad.

Teenage Kids' favorite place. Their burgers are really good. But it seemed to be a little more expensive than Hannover. Or so it seemed to us. I wouldn't recommend the hot dog. Hamburgers are very good.

One thing first: the prices are a disgrace. €47 for two cold burgers and a paper bag full of soggy fries. 7(!) people behind the counter but the food is cold. How does that work please? Tradition with all due respect but here the concept should be reconsidered.

You can choose the ingredients according to your wishes. It's nice to have it that way :) The burger is really filling and delicious. The fries were crusty French fries and they were good too. There are many beverage stations and you can fill them however you want :)

Employees can't speak GERMAN and ask customers if they can speak English to them...🤦 Music is way too loud, and instead of installing display boards like at MCS, the number is shouted in English throughout the store with the loud music.. .people what is that?! Every time I go to Five Guys I start to cry because there isn't one in Kiel. Great burgers and nice staff, even if some only speak English.

During our city trip in Hamburg we enjoyed a late-night dinner at Five Guys. We often visit various Five Guys locations throughout Europe. However, we still had the best experience here. Very friendly and hard working staff. In addition, they were fast as usual, but the quality of the burgers was also very positive. All in all, we definitely recommend this Five Guys for a quick (greasy) bite.

Let's start right at minute 1. There was no person in the restaurant who could speak German. I can speak English fluently, but unfortunately my parents can't, which is why I had to teach later. Sure, US company, but location in Germany. 2. Ambiente is a department store. It's a cold diner, just without the US charm you're used to, as no one really talks to you or looks after you. There were pallets of things everywhere; no, no decoration. 3. Food. The actually most important thing. Yes. was nothing more than a burger. The meat was well fried, vegetables were semi-fresh. Was processed just like in any cheap chip shop. French fries were supposedly home-cut, I have no idea, but it was a large portion (ordered large), unfortunately peppered carelessly into the paper bag, so everything was immediately dripping with fat. I'm a salt lover, but most of the fries couldn't be eaten because they were completely over salted. 4. Prize. If you set prices like in a restaurant, then the quality of the food should also be right. The two of us spent just under €50 with 2 burgers, 1 large +1 small fries and 1 drink. The food is absolutely not worth it. Conclusion. Heard a lot about trying it once, never again.

Today the four of us were at Five Guys in Hamburg on Jungfernstieg and our burgers were very tasty, they were of course freshly prepared and everything was great. All four of us had chosen our favorites, we already know the principle from London and that's great. There were also delicious fries - very cool. It was also exciting for the children to test different drinks. Milkshakes are also very tasty. We enjoyed it and the staff was so nice, thank you for the good time with you.

TLDR: for best experience avoid fries, order a burger in English and eat it outside at the lake Food: obscenely expensive, delicious great burger, terribly over salted fries, presented very American Staff: really nice people trying their best, having serious problems understanding and speaking german, tables not cleaned properly, for lunch time I got my order in good time, it feels like understaffed here and seems like management lacks the ability to motivate the team Manage your expectations, try their strengths and you’ll have good experience. Don’t expect anything remotely german here, this place screams USA, it can be shocking, be open, be nice to the workers.

I can only speak as a fan looking for a beer. I found 0.33 for the price of 4.8€ :)

Really good burgers of excellent quality. The Cajun Fries were also really tasty. There was also a chocolate milkshake, also really good. The atmosphere is very American. The prices are rather high, but that's okay considering the quality offered.

It was my first order at this location and because I arrived just 10 minutes prior to closing, they were already out of Bacon unfortunately, however they really took care of me by making abundantly sure that they would change their gloves and everything because of my food allergy, which I really appreciated. Can highly recommend, even if I am unable to enjoy the fries which I am sure are great too!

American burger joint. If you don't know the store, you can be a little overwhelmed at first. You order your burger and can order your ingredients separately to create your own burger. Fries and drinks cost extra. However, the drinks can be refilled. Ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. are available for self-service. The staff speaks English, which might seem a bit strange... but if you understand it, you don't need to worry. Burgers were great and the guys on site were in a good mood. We felt good.

Terrible and disappointing delivery, fries received completely cold and the bag was thrown away and way too much. My burger was a tragedy, I wanted without mushrooms because I'm allergic, what's the point of a layer of mushrooms in the burger. When I asked on the phone I was asked if I could speak English. With all the respect I have left, what kind of disgrace is this? Bread totally unappetizing and unservable. I will never order there again let alone recommend you. I was promised a new order on the phone, but I've completely lost my appetite and desire for you.

Well, we definitely have better burger shops than five guys, like for example. Jim block. The store isn't exactly clean, but the USA theme comes through, Half English and half German are spoken to you. Quite expensive for 2 burgers with fries and a shake paid 47 euros. Conclusion: I wouldn't come again.

I have never experienced anything like this restaurant. How can you squeeze the food into aluminum foil so carelessly that all you get out of the package is a mushy mess. Us too for the exorbitant price. The cucumbers and tomatoes were totally cold. The fries were rather soggy and not really nice to look at.. I would just tell everyone reading this not to go to the restaurant and leave your money there. I will definitely never do it again. Definitely not the way the food is presented there. I've never even experienced MC Donald before and they even bring the food to your table.

My wife's vegetarian sandwich was beyond bad and has nothing to do with a sandwich. There was far too little sauce on my BBQ burger and the waiting time was far too long for fast food.

First of all, it has to be said that we only got a milkshake (peanut butter and strawberry), although it was priced at €6.95, it was worth every cent. In no way comparable to one from McDonald's, really nice thick 'creamy consistency' that stayed solid for 30 minutes. The only negative point is if you don't see the free cream option, for example, you may just be informed of it. Conclusion: Many English-speaking employees. Some knowledge is recommended. :) Anyone would be happy to take a look American' greasy likes.

Burgers awesome! Bad fries! Fries were soggy. The concept is to simply pour the fries into the bag with the burger, but people: who would eat that? That's snotty. This turns a really good burger into a suboptimal experience.

I like these burgers and the drinks machine is great. But I don't like the fact that only English is spoken there. I haven't had that in other German cities at Five Guys, where you only have to order in English.

Delicious. A bit expensive. It's annoying that the numbers you get on your bong are just called out and can't be seen on a monitor. It's just the typical "American fast food shop" in Germany. Absolutely cool for a change but in order to go there more often it would have to "adjust" more. Toilet paper was empty.

The food is first class and the prices are reasonable. The portions are as you would expect from American portions, a small fry there feels like a large one for us. There are also unlimited free drink refills.

A bacon cheeseburger and a small fries cost €19.25. Ok, if you like it you can do it. I ordered for take out. With very little volume, it took quite a long time for fast food. My burger was ready before the fries and then lay open to cool for several minutes until the fries were ready. The burger was wrapped in aluminum foil. I'm not sure if that's a good thing for food, especially since there's a lot of cheese stuck to the aluminum and I didn't want to scrape it off. The meat was good. the burger ban was normal. The fries were also very limp and woefully oversalted. Conclusion: Not again soon!

This has nothing to do with the US-version of it. The taste is different/worse and the food-amount for money ratio is just ridiculous. You pay nearly 20euro for a burger and a portion of fries.... Which taste not much better than some premium burger from McDonald's...

I had never been to a "Five Guys" restaurant before, but it won't be the last. So it is fast food, so of course my praise must also be seen in that light. It is just really good fast food. If this restaurant in Hamburg was nothing special compared to the others, I have no idea, but at least it was atmospheric, and felt a bit like a classic American diner.I would always choose Five Guys over the other fast food alternatives.

When I ordered my burger, the receipt for the kitchen wasn't printed, which is why I had to wait forever for my burger when I asked, but my burger was made immediately. Otherwise the burgers are a bit expensive. The place does a bit of an American diner style.

Sorry, it didn't taste like anything from the burger to the fries. Fries limp, only superficially salted. Patty meat is definitely good quality, unfortunately no taste. Too expensive for that.

After I defended this chain after its original market entry in Germany with a positive review against all sorts of disposable waste opponents and healthy eating fetishists, and drove 80km to Neumünster for a test, I now have to come forward with more critical words. Not only have the prices here recently risen more than Nvidia shares (18.25 for cheeseburgers + small fries) - the quality also increasingly leaves something to be desired. Due to the high workload today, my fries were still floury and raw inside (and that was after I waited 15 minutes!). They didn't toast the bun at all, so it was rather limp. I'm afraid that if the German arm of this chain doesn't get this under control, things won't be doing so well here soon, and that would be a shame because the burgers are actually very solid!

Biggest dirty shop. Ordered food and wanted to use the toilet. We were told that the women's toilet was broken even though women before us had used the toilet. When we asked if we could use the men's toilet, we were told it was broken too. Our heavily pregnant companion was not allowed to use either of the two sanitary facilities. We were then expelled from the store and were no longer allowed to pick up the order we had already paid for. Never again.

I travel a lot solo and am usually just looking for a reliable meal, and as expected, I got that here. Besides, needed a hamburger in Hamburg. This location seemed far more hectic and loud though than most others I’ve visited. Staff yelling out the order numbers and to each other, and they have to yell because the music is pretty loud. The loud music also forces the customers to talk loud to talk over the music. The staff were friendly and they were constantly cleaning the place (some people are slobs). Just lower the volume of the music a little bit.

I wanted it for my birthday. Was in the chain for the first time in the USA. 🤗 Price-performance is not right for me. 😥 Eat lukewarm. 😥 Soft drinks too artificial

One of the best burgers in the USA now also in Europe. There are free peanuts there, not here. I highly recommend it.

I'm an absolute Five Guys fan, but that was underground. Apparently they don't make smashburgers here anymore. There were “normal” burger patties on the cheeseburger, which had no significant taste. For the price it's an absolute disgrace. It's even better to go to McDonalds.

I've never had such bad fries, they were pretty expensive and the restaurant is super loud.

New generation Hamburger restaurant. It will overtake other global brands within 2 years. The menu is limited, but the customer chooses the 15 sauces and garnishes that can be put in the burger. They are assertive in their french fries, the crusty french fries were really nice. You buy empty glasses according to the size you prefer for the beverage and fill them at the beverage stations. (Ikea model) Burger meat and bread are very good

Whether you want to spend 20 EUR on a BurgerMenu (cheeseburger, small fries, drink) is up to you. The burger was very good (although I like Jim Block's better) and ready quickly. Communication was poor. The service person only speaks English - and without me noticing, he charged me for two portions of fries (they were also in the bag). Difficult output (language difficulties) - maybe you should just install a display here. Even at McD you can now get the menu right there. The ambience was “cold” and echoey. If you put everything together, the price-performance ratio is not right - I won't eat here again.

Very tasty food. If you complain about the ambience: it's a fast food chain. You can't wish for an ambience like in a 5 star restaurant here! The burgers were really fresh and good, but my waitress Saranya (?) mixed up some of my friend's and my ingredients. For example, the fried onions instead of the regular ones, or other fries we wanted. Otherwise very great :)

I knew Five Guys to be super tasty, but here on the Jungfernstieg there was probably no more salt. Both the meat and the fries were completely unseasoned - I have no idea what that means.
