You can order the burger and fries separately and customize the ingredients to your liking. The quality is high but it is expensive. The fries in particular are legendary.

So, cheeseburger with medium fries and a milkshake. €27.45. You're at a loss for words. Even if you eat on site you get everything in a paper bag into which you simply throw the fries. The burger wrapped in aluminum foil. After eating you actually have to take a shower. There is no cutlery. The taste of the burger was delicious, but for the price and presentation it's not possible. Never again!

I always order here when I'm on a business trip in Hamburg. Ordering has always been quick and reliable. So far everything has always been complete, fresh and delicious. The prices are a little higher than other fast food chains, but in my opinion they are justified.

I was actually happy to eat at Five Guys again. The shop was very empty, I'm not surprised. Because very expensive burgers, service really wasn't that great (mood among all employees was very depressed), just enough, as I found it. Places not clean, everything super uncomfortable. I really can't recommend it. 3 stars only because it tasted okay. 33 euros for 2 simple burgers, a little fries and 1 refill drink. Tip: Don't take iced tea. Unfortunately it didn't taste good at all. Unfortunately overall disappointed.

Speaks German! You are in Hamburg, in Germany! My in-laws didn't understand what the cashier was asking and when they called out "twentyeight" they had no idea it was about their order. Nobody would start a business in the USA and speak to customers in a foreign language!

You get exactly what you can expect. Good burgers, excellent fries and a few peanuts to tide you over.

For the price you pay for your food it is an OK place. Staff is kind but struggle with German so be prepared to just be called in English. I think they do their best but probably understaffed. The place is a mess, very dirty and the atmosphere is that of a cheap petrol station. I know they wanted to bring the “American vibe” but this feels like the American vibe of a horror movie. Fries on the floor, dirty tables and the horrible white coloring is just terrible. For a hamburger to cost around 15€ at least you get a good portion, but with lots of oil and looking terrible. Tastes fine. The fries are ok but too salty. The amount of trash you produce here is also incredible, but well, it’s like good old American tradition…

A little on the dear side of things for a fast food joint but the cheeseburger was mellow in flavour and there was a lot more fries in the bag that I could munch but they tasted great and the texture was on point!

No problem with fries in a paper cup while half of them fly around in the bag... no problem with eating soggy fast food straight out of the aluminum foil without a tray... no problem with concepts without service staff... no problem with the food serving atmosphere, but If, without all these amenities, such a small burger costs €15 and such a small hot dog costs €10, things become critical. Of course I don't know what rent you pay in the middle of HH, or what you pay for your goods, but hey, I really expected more food for the money (bigger burgers and hot dogs, mind you... not more fries).

The burgers and fries are delicious, the drinks can be refilled by yourself, and the salty peanuts are free to eat. The dining environment is bright and highly recommended.

We asked for a vegan burger and this is what they served us 😭 no patty, no bread, just a bad salad basically. Unacceptable in this year and especially in Germany, where pretty much every food place has vegan options. Worst eating experience in Hamburg.

First visit, I'm keen to experiment, so just popping in at this prominent address was actually expecting something special. You also get: - Ambiance is between the slaughterhouse and the train station hall where you are "queued" by a barrier. There are tons of pictures on the walls where people boast that they are the greatest. - When I looked at the price list I couldn't stop spitting, but now I was there, so I ordered a bacon burger with small fries: €18.25. For heaven's sake, what delicious things would I have at the stalls at the Christmas market or in one get restaurant - The entire staff obviously doesn't know a word of German and I find it difficult to speak of service - You need a little patience because the burger is assembled live. However, the bacon and mushrooms were collected from a bowl and neither of them looked freshly grilled. - You are handed a paper bag with fries flying around and a burger wrapped in aluminum paper. It can look like that at the places, because there is no tray. Stock up on servings. There is no cutlery. That's why it's best to eat the burger in aluminum foil and put it in the bag with the fries. - In my opinion, the food was bland, tasteless and the burger was dry. A culinary experience far below what you are used to from other burger houses that charge similar prices. I just don't know if that's what they meant at first, was it megalomania, a scam or a tourist trap on Jungfernstieg? But I learned something again: I don't have to have it, sorry.

I just wanted to see why there were so many people there. Then let the good reviews on the wall entice you to order a bacon dog and a shake. It was noticeable that the service only spoke English, but I didn't think it was a big deal. What was much worse was that my “bacon” only consisted of black crumbs that tasted burnt. In this respect, absolutely no recommendation, in my opinion the store is not convenient either. The shakes are actually quite good, but the hot dog... Well, it's definitely not all that bad, after all I only ordered a shake and a hot dog, but in any case the impression didn't live up to the reviews posted in the store (especially at the prices asked).

Five Guys is a little more expensive than comparable burger joints, but you'll definitely get full, which isn't something you can necessarily say about the competition. The ambience is simple and cool, which doesn't appeal to everyone, but I don't think lingering is part of the chain's concept. The staff is friendly and works quickly. The fries are very good.

I ordered a "veggie sandwich" and got some mushrooms with onions between a burger bun. Together with a cup of fries it cost me €13.70. For vegetarians or someone who wants to eat out with their vegetarian friends, I recommend any other store.

Ordered burgers, fries and coke here on November 30th. The service was very friendly, hence 1 star. Unfortunately the tables are all dirty and greasy. The burgers were cold and served in a bag, you just dumped the fries into the bag without a container. The cheese on the burgers wasn't melted and the patty wasn't cooked all the way through .. Burgers were wrapped in aluminum foil...everything was packed in cardboard and paper...extremely much garbage...the drink was not carbonated, I suspect the machine wasn't set correctly. The drink was a syrupy liquid...plus it was extremely loud in the shop . We paid over 40 euros...for aluminum foil, cold burgers and fries that were dumped loosely into the brown bag...

Their burgers are delicious but I find the prices to be far too high, e.g. €5 for a small bag of fries.

The food was okay, but the service wasn't even mediocre: hardly any (no) German and the order was taken incorrectly. When we asked, we got the right burger that we had previously ordered. Unfortunately the tables/seats were not clean either. Sorry, but we won't be coming back. For the money (70€ for burgers for 3 people) we will go somewhere else.

I think world goes to a crazy atmosphere if this place is famous. I want to try thei hamburger after i read ‘best burgers in Munchen’ news on a website. I ordered a cheeseburger. And their famous patato. Really it was a big disappoinment. I think McDonalds has more good burgers from this ‘Five Guys’. All was trash. And price is very expensive. One poor burger + patato and a beer was 22 €. I know you will eat more good and a real meat with this cost. I want to say only ‘dont go’. And atmosphere, decoration. My schools cantin was better their devoration. Price must be 5 € maximum. Eat a real unknown burger in somewhere but dont try like me! I really dont like.

The food is super delicious if you can afford it. Five Guys could win the battle for the most expensive fast food in Hamburg. You can't rate Ambiente because Ambiente is sold out here.

I found the food quite expensive, unfortunately the quality wasn't the best. I thought the burger was the best, it reminded me of a slightly larger version of McDonald's burger. I know what the decor should represent or what style it is but I didn't find it very pleasant and you should be prepared to order there in English.

Super delicious! Simply something special! We used to go to Five Guys all the time in London and now we have it too. The staff speaks English, but they can also speak German. I found that super authentic. I will send my son there more often - he should then place the order in English.

A scary atmosphere: rock-hard seats and really uncomfortable lighting. The staff/signage seems pseudo-cool with their fake (D)English. The food itself is okay but (especially the fries) is hopelessly overpriced. You can quickly reach over €25 with an order. The place is just too shabby for the money. Even McDonald's seems more well-groomed.

The food was okay, but it doesn't come close to other "premium" burger places. The service only spoke English, which wasn't a problem for me, but I think it's a bit unusual for a restaurant in the middle of Hamburg. The ambience may be corporate image, but it's really not nice to eat in a red and white (caution tape) tiled kitchen. This is where my comfortable living room dining table atmosphere comes into being, where you really feel comfortable. It also seems very self-absorbed that all the pictures on the walls are newspaper articles or quotes about how great the store is. Even in the toilets. But the premises looked very clean.

Disgusting! It's unbelievable what bad shops keep themselves alive, we are extremely disappointed! This was the worst and "cheapest" (but way too expensive!) burger we have ever eaten. I was in a really bad mood afterwards. From the patty to the disgusting and carelessly sprinkled toppings to the bun, which was completely dry, everything was so bland and tasteless. When you watch them prepare it, you lose your appetite. The service was short. Store totally dirty. Ambience not present.

Good burger, fries ok. However, prices are overpriced for the food on offer. Cheeseburger with small fries and cola for EUR 22.45 in a self-service fast food restaurant. Furthermore, I don't understand why everything is put in a paper bag when eaten in a restaurant. This leads to endless packaging waste and the fries were simply thrown into the bag on top of the burger. Unfortunately for me the relationship between price and performance is not right here.

My first time at Five Guys: Really very good for “fast food”. There may be better burgers (I'm not sure, actually everything is there and fresh) but take away within 10 minutes, great! Attention: The normal cheeseburger is a double one. If you only want one patty, you can order the Little Cheese

When you rate a restaurant, what counts most is the quality of the food. Yes, it took a long time, but good food is more important to me than everything else! Absolutely authentic, American burger joint. The burger was absolutely top, as were the fries. Hammer! You have to get used to putting everything in the bag. I know the shop from the States, I'm happy that we also have a place like this in Hamburg.

In general, it's nice that it's a delicious place that is already known by its name, the only problem is that it is always overcrowded and long waiting queues are unpleasant. Unlimited peanut, sauce and beverage (one-time fee for beverage) service 💗

Far too expensive, the ordering concept is not clearly understandable, only in English (difficult for older people), the taste is ok at best, I would only rate the quality higher than that of competitors. 42€ 2 people, 2 burgers, 2x drinks, one fries Fries were undercooked and the patties were much too greasy. Buns were toasted at some point and then just topped (cold and immediately souped). Since the restaurant also serves it in a to-go bag and the burgers themselves are wrapped in aluminum foil, the bun was completely greasy. The fries are carelessly dumped into the bag with the burgers and, if necessary, placed in a paper cup in the bag (then they fall over anyway).

I already knew Five Guys from Frankfurt, but was surprised by the different layout of the restaurant here in Hamburg. The checkout area and the kitchen are located in a kind of “island” in the middle of the room, which means that guests can watch the food being prepared from any seat. The burgers and fries were delicious as usual. The dining room and the toilets were kept clean, which is unfortunately not always a given in a fast food restaurant these days.

bestellung konnte nicht auf deutsch aufgegeben werden. selbst die englischkenntnisse des angestellten waren extrem schlecht. es ging nur mit fingerzeig. nachfragen zu den möglichen angeboten sowie preisen wurden völlig ignoriert. fertiges menü wurde lediglich auf die theke platziert ohne ankündigung. letztendlich habe ich für kaltes essen ein kleines vermögen ausgegeben. absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Excellent. When you understand the concept of Five Guys, you realise how good the quality of the food is and it shows in how it tastes. Staff are always friendly irrespective of the time day. Just be careful that you don’t order too much food though because they give you a lot 👍🏻

The service doesn't speak German. I'm inclusive and all but I just don't understand the Indian dialect. The lady seemed to resent me. I ordered 2 burgers and a large fries. The large fries are also on the receipt and actually come in a paper bag. I got a cup. I will avoid the chain completely in the future.

Bei Five Guys war ich noch nie und ich werde auch nicht wieder hier her essen gehen. Ich verstehe ja den amerikanischen Style, die Musik ist schon bei der Bestellung so laut das mich die nur englisch sprechende Mitarbeiterin nicht verstand. Die Preise sind echt gesalzen. Der Burger mit Bacon, Salat, Tomaten, Gurke und Ketchup kostet 12,75€ und das Mineralwasser 4,20€. Die Getränke zapft man sich an einem Automaten. Das Mobiliar ist ein alles Holz und der Rest ist alles rot weiß. Mag sein das das in Amerika so Standard ist, ich finde es sehr ungemütlich. Für den Zugang zur Toilette steht auf dem Bon ein Zugangscode. Das Personal scheinen alles direkt aus Amerika zu kommen. Also mir gefällt es überhaupt nicht. Der Burger war ok und tropfte vor Bratensaft. Die Getränke kommen fertig gemischt aus dem Automaten, also aus Konzentrat, der Geschmack überzeugt mich nicht. Das erste und letzte mal Five Guys

Nice five guys restaurant. The cons: - One of the soda machines was broken and the other didn’t have all the flavours available. - It didn’t have the peanuts like in England. Pros: Its Five Guys and I love their fast food.

Better than every Burger King and McDonald's combined!! I never thought you could get such good burgers from such a chain! EVERYTHING Fresh! Bacon crispy! Real burgers! The best fast food fries I've ever eaten! Burgers and fries are as you imagine them and not this mush from McD and B.K! And do yourself a favor and don't confuse a fast food chain with a burger restaurant! Of course Hans im Glück, Jim Block etc. are in a different league!

So today I went to eat at your Five Guys with school friends, the food there didn't taste really good, the meat was dry and the fries tasted like pape and were cold. The only good point about this Five Guys was the water temperature in the toilets. I would also like to add that I really liked the decoration.

Screaming LOUD through tile walls. Slow. Few staff rush to place orders. Food pretty poor and not presented at all. No tablets. “Cheese” has never seen a cow. Bread is a piece of air. Ketchup overly sweet. No signs where to go after ordering and no display of the number that you could see from the seats outside.

The staff could hardly speak German which made ordering difficult. For the price I expected and expected more from the food. I found the location very dirty even for a snack bar and it wasn't very crowded.

I really appreciate Five Guys. Almost no matter which branch. Always horny. The burgers are simply good. Everything without additives and nonsense. Just the good stuff that belongs in a real burger. The Cajun fries are also consistently great. Open kitchen also cool.

Five Guys in Hamburg is a must-visit, for an affordable meal for a solid burger and grear milkshake.! The staff was welcoming and respectful, making me feel right at home. They were eager to assist and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. The atmosphere was refreshing and added to the overall positive experience.

Be careful everyone who pays with a Visa card! Apparently my Visa card didn't accept the payment (according to the receipt), which actually went through. A store that accepts and promotes Visa payments should also solve the problem. The service employee could have given the money on the spot, but the process would be too long, which is why I had to contact Five Guys by email... just inconvenient! The food here is actually quite good. I recommend the Cajun Fries and the milkshake. Sandwiches were just burgers without a patty, which I found a bit disappointing.

Ok, if you like aluminum foil as a burger wrapper and a bunch of waste. The “veggie sandwich” was a burger without meat and probably ok for vegans/vegetarians who have lost their taste, for us it was just a burger without meat, but not a sandwich. That's something different. The cheeseburger was okay in terms of taste and quality, but not a revelation. I don't have to go there again. The result served neither one (a good cheeseburger) nor the other (a good veggie sandwich).

Not the best five guys, but still tasty food. Compared to other restaurants in the chain, the French fries are worse, loose and lightly seasoned.

This was our first time at Five Guys. The service was very friendly, but only spoke English, which wasn't a problem for us, just a little unusual. The citizen was very tasty and the roll was extremely fluffy. It was just a shame that the bread roll was cold. The small portion of fries was sufficient and the place was clean and well maintained. It was nice that you could watch directly how the citizens were being prepared. The sandwich was a citizen roll without patti, too expensive for the price. But still all in all a good shop. We'll be back!

The service itself was ok. It gave me the impression of a "wannabe American copy". After waiting 15 minutes for the food, the surprise came when we opened the bag. The burger was simply thrown carelessly into the bag and completely tattered. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to eat like that. So this burger went back. The staff was understanding and I immediately got a new burger and a large pair of fries. Hence the 2 stars. The burger itself has a good taste and everything is fresh. But just too much. Difficult to even bite off because it's just overkill. Sometimes less is more. I think the prices are simply outrageous at 8+ euros for a large fries. You can simply find better service and better taste for less money.
