Today was my first visit to a "Five Guys." Today was also my last visit to a "Five Guys." First, I'd like to praise the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The rest, however, wasn't convincing. But that was more to do with the store's concept. Essentially, it's nothing more than a fast-food restaurant like other chains. They advertise flexibility, but when you order, you have to assemble your burger from the usual ingredients. At the competition, you get a ready-made burger and can then customize it by selecting ingredients. What's special here, however, is the price, which is still significantly higher than elsewhere. The store itself was okay. The ambiance wasn't our cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste. The staff is excellent, friendly, and very helpful. The price-performance ratio is still very poor.

It was fun, but the coolest thing about the whole thing was Zeina, our waitress. Thank you so much, Zeina, for putting us in such a good mood.

A truly bland-tasting burger served with a disproportionate amount of fries. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a shipping warehouse. The whole thing is completely overpriced. Never again!

The worst Five Guys I've ever been to in my entire life. It doesn't hold a candle to the ones in Madrid or Paris. There were five of us ordering, and it took them about 25 minutes to bring each of our orders. The staff are incompetent, especially the service manager, who seems to be in a position of being connected because of his limited skills. The only good experience I have is that I ordered a small milkshake and they brought me a large one by mistake. Excessive prices.

I wanted to bring my girlfriend food to her hospital and asked the staff if they could wrap the food twice - they did it so well and all of the employees were so friendly :) She enjoyed it and it really lighted up her mood - big thanks to everyone who worked there yesterday <3

Been there two times. The burgers and fries are mediocre there are plenty of better options in Hamburg alone. Worst thing is I waited over 30 min for a burger and fries each time. Tables were dirty and service more or less non existent. Cannot recommend.

If you’re craving a juicy, scrumptious-vumptious proper Five Guys burger — save yourself the disappointment and skip this place at Jungferstieg The bun? Dry as cardboard. The patty? Bland and lukewarm; the cheese just sat there sulking instead of melting. Five Guys? More like Five Why’s. Utter. Disappointment.

A visit to the Five Guys fast-food chain had been on my list for a while, and now (almost by chance while driving past) I happened upon the branch on Jungfernstieg in Hamburg. It's a nice and large shop with several seating options and, of course, a to-go option. The interior is decorated in a very typically American style and exudes exactly that "American fast-food chain flair," in my opinion. Orders can be placed at one of the electronic terminals or directly at the counter. I opted for the latter and was met by a very friendly and helpful employee. Burgers are available in small (little) versions with one patty and in regular versions with two patties. There are also sandwiches in various versions, as well as some hot dogs that can also be customized with different ingredients and toppings. Fries, milkshakes, and drinks in "free refill" format can also be ordered. Free peanuts are also available to shorten the wait. The restaurant and the restrooms seemed quite tidy and clean overall. I opted for a small portion of fries, half salted (regular) and the other half seasoned Cajun-style. On the recommendation of the employee, I went for a cheeseburger (regular) with two patties. To drink, I ordered two small milkshakes (one with pistachio and one with Lotus Biscoff as a mix-in). Overall, I really liked everything, and they were prepared exactly to my taste (grilled and seasoned). I also found the shakes really delicious. The numerous options for combining the individual products make the whole thing very interesting and really allow for a lot of flexibility for individual preferences. In terms of price, Five Guys is, in my opinion, on the higher end of the fast-food segment, which is why it will remain (at least for me) an occasional exception. Best regards

I went to Five Guys in Hamburg today, and it was simply fantastic! The ambiance is modern, relaxed, and inviting—just the right mix of American diner feeling and cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and well organized, making you feel at home right away. The service was excellent! A huge compliment to Zeina, who served us so friendly, attentive, and with a smile. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her job—thank you so much! All I can say about the food is: fresh, juicy, and delicious. The burgers were perfectly prepared, the fries were crispy, and the portions were absolutely generous. What's especially great is that you can customize your burger—and everything came exactly as ordered. Highly recommended—I'll definitely be back!

Still the best place for solid, customizable smash burgers. Here, you never feel like you're eating a burger dripping with grease; you can even make it very healthy with mustard and hot sauce (by skipping the sugary and fatty sauces). The option to choose a lettuce wrap instead of the bun is also simply brilliant. We always enjoy coming back ✌🏻

We're visiting Hamburg and wanted to try the highly acclaimed Five Guys. Well, that was definitely the last time we visit this chain. The restaurant has the charm of a laundry room. The tables are delicious. Our burgers and fries for four people were served on two metal trays. Two portions of fries were packed in much too small cups, and the rest were poured loosely onto the tray. The burgers are no exception. My son's cheese wasn't melted yet, and my wife's bun was still cold. The bland taste of the burgers will remain in my negative memory for a long time. What a shame about the €80 we spent there.

The burger is good, but the fries were really bad

I’ve visited Five Guys in Hamburg several times, and honestly – I don’t understand the negative reviews. Yes, it’s fast food. But within that category, it delivers quick, freshly prepared, and genuinely delicious food. The fries are the best I’ve ever had in a fast food chain – McDonald’s doesn’t even come close. Being able to custom-build your burger is a great feature, and the whole Five Guys vibe is exactly what it should be: no-frills, loud, direct – but authentic and functional. Sure, the staff can sometimes seem a bit disorganized, but the food always arrives fresh and satisfying. The price matches the quality – this isn’t an everyday place, but when you want a real burger, it delivers. Thumbs up from me. I’ll happily come back.

Great place – but the real star is Zeina! I went to Five Guys today, and the food was great as always: fresh burgers, crispy fries, everything delicious and prepared quickly. But what really made this visit special was the service – and especially Zeina! From the very first moment, her warm, positive demeanor simply put me in a good mood. She was attentive, super friendly, and really took care of each and every guest – not just friendly, but with genuine passion for her job. I've rarely felt so welcome! Zeina even asked me after the meal if everything was okay, and she seemed so honest and open that I simply have to give her a huge compliment: If there were more people like her in the service department, the world would be a better place. The hamburger was really delicious, but I can't say the same for the fries; they were greasy and undercooked. I couldn't eat half of them and they were left over. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice, but the service was slow.

No, I can't recommend it. It's a burger joint without soul. Why they have to wrap the burgers in aluminum foil is beyond me. It just makes everything soggy. I know it's probably part of the concept, and some people probably like that, but I don't understand it. Aside from the unnecessary packaging waste, the patty/burger simply has no flavor punch! If I had paid less than €10 per person, I might have been a bit more lenient, but €12.75 just for the burger without fries/drinks is pretty expensive, especially considering the quality. I'd rather recommend some other burger joints around the corner, like Hobs, Traumkuh, Burgerlich, Burger Heroes, and Burger Vision. It's nice that everything is freshly prepared, but when it's slapped together as carelessly as here, it unfortunately has no positive impact on the taste. No, it didn't convince me. So I'm only giving it 2.0 stars!!!

We were there as a family with two small children. One was tired and fussy. Uguran immediately responded in a friendly manner, brought an extra chair, and even brought a smile to the little ones' faces. He explained the menu calmly and understandably, even though the place was full. Employees like that make all the difference. Thank you Uguran. The food was also really good.

Completely overpriced and mediocre fast food, eaten in a cold, uncomfortable atmosphere. If the table was wiped down beforehand, you're in luck. The drink selection consists of Sprite/Coke with ridiculously incongruous flavors. Regular Sprite or just Coke (Zero)? Not an option, as it's not refilled. The mushy and unstable burgers have to be peeled out of aluminum foil, and then completely covered in them while eating (without cutlery). Whether you eat in or not is irrelevant; the packaging waste remains the same (except for the cup, hopefully?). If you have to eat this type of food nearby, it's better to go straight to the usual chains (cheaper) or to the "burger restaurant" across the street (better atmosphere). I visited these guys over a year ago in Cologne, unfortunately with the same experience. The concept doesn't convince me – especially not given the prices.

This is the third time the store hasn't delivered my order, even though they confirmed that it was received and was already ready for delivery. When I call, they say the order hasn't been received and there's no driver available to deliver. So I wait 30-40 minutes for nothing. You can't get worse customer service in all of Hamburg. Just close the shitty store or change management and staff.

The ordering process confused me. I just wanted a regular bacon burger, but I had to choose the toppings myself and wasn't sure if I'd even get the right one. There was no option for mayo or ketchup with the fries, and there was no tab for extras in the main menu. When people behind me started pushing and shoving, I left and ate at a competitor's. I used to eat at Five Guys in Edinburgh a few years ago. It was much easier to order there, though.

If you like this kind of American burger, they're highly recommended – there are unlimited toppings and refills. The price is extremely high, otherwise they'd get more stars, especially since the self-service system is suboptimal (the employees will eventually shout your number in English). Unfortunately, we were dissatisfied several times because operations didn't seem to run nearly as smoothly as in the other branch in Hamburg. Longer waiting times and actually not that good in terms of taste. Due to the fourth negative experience today with the branch on Jungfernstieg, waiting almost forty minutes in total and then receiving the wrong food, we will avoid this Five Guys branch and prefer to go to the other one.

Personally, I find 5Guys a bit overpriced. I've had better and more varied burgers elsewhere. I'm not saying the burgers are bad, but the price/performance ratio and organic meat are better. The guys don't provide any information about free-range farming or the type of farming. Only Scotland. Sounds nice, but not enough for 5 stars.

It was a celebration for me I have never eaten here before today was the first time and can still recommend it without reservation

The food was quite good, and the fries and burgers were significantly better than at the big M. Unfortunately, all the tables were very dirty; after speaking to the staff, one table was quickly cleaned. There was no atmosphere; the chairs were uncomfortable, the music was extremely loud, and the food was served in a bag with half the fries inside.

I had to wait 20 minutes for a drink. Nobody spoke a word of German, only English, and I was completely ignored. Outrageous prices.

I must say that the bread was cold i didnt like that. Just the meat was ok. The soda was good you can chose different flavours.
