Ich war schon so oft hier, dass ich längst nicht mehr mitzählen kann – mal spontan, mal mit Reservierung. Was mich immer wieder begeistert: Die Qualität ist jedes Mal top. Das Team ist super freundlich, der Service schnell und aufmerksam. Besonders im Sommer sitze ich gerne im Garten, die Atmosphäre dort ist einfach wunderschön. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung – ich komme immer wieder gerne!

Sehr gute Pizza, hervorragende Vorspeisen und ein freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Steinofen, der der Pizza einen einzigartigen Geschmack verleiht und sie besonders knusprig und lecker macht. Die Lage gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut, vor allem der Biergarten sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant, das sich sowohl für ein Date als auch für ein Familienessen, eine Firmenfeier oder andere Anlässe eignet. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir kamen zu zweit ohne Reservierung und es war wirklich rappelvoll an dem Tag. Trotzdem hat man sich Mühe gegeben und uns einen schönen Platz zugewiesen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten Beide eine Pizza. Der Service war toll. Wir waren begeistert. Schade, dass wir nicht hier um die Ecke wohnen.

Ein Italiener wie ich ihn mir wünsche. Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen zu absolut moderaten Preisen und immer wieder Abwechslung in der Karte. Der Service ist wirklich sehr nett, alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr sympathisch, schnell und zuvorkommend. Das Lokal ist ziemlich groß und trotzdem hat es eine persönliche und familiäre Atmosphäre. Super Italiener 👍 Immer freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und das Essen ist durchgehend gut und sowas von auf zack. Sehr großer Außenbereich um vor allem im Sommer die warmen Tage zu genießen. Perfekt für Radtouren. Am besten vorher kurz anrufen und reservieren, ist meist schnell und unkompliziert.

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut, wir hatten drei verschiedene Pizze und Tiramisu. Der Service war hervorragend, total freundlich, und aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Waren am Valentinstag da mit 7 Personen. Kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war sehr gut, von Pizza über Nudeln und Tagesgerichte. Aufmerksame Bedienung, Preis Leistung hat gestimmt. Sanitäre Anlagen könnten sauberer und gepflegter sein.

Nach dem Besuch des Donaubads waren unsere Kinder hungrig. Sehr lecker Pizza und Salat gegessen! Top Service! Sehr freundlich und vorallem sehr schnell. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war ok, nichts Herausragendes, ab in Ordnung. Allerdings sind die Preise dafür definitiv zu hoch.

Das Essen ist insgesamt sehr lecker, besonders die Pizza ist wirklich top. Man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität geachtet wird und alles frisch gemacht ist. Die Bedienung ist angenehm authentisch und super freundlich – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Was auch ein großer Pluspunkt ist: Es ist total familiengerecht. Es gibt einen Spielplatz für Kinder, sodass man auch mit den Kleinen entspannt essen gehen kann. Außerdem muss man nicht lange auf das Essen warten, was gerade mit Kindern natürlich ideal ist. Insgesamt einfach ein rundum stimmiger Laden – kommen gerne wieder!

Pizza sehr lecker, Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Findet man heute auch nicht mehr so oft. Lokal war bei unserem Besuch sehr voll, wir mussten kurz auf unseren reservierten Tisch warten, war aber auch völlig ok. In der kalten Jahreszeit zieht es etwas, da der grosse Gastraum etwas schlecht isoliert ist. Schließt um 21:30, gemütlich sitzen bleiben ist damit eher nicht möglich. Wir werden trotzdem wiederkommen wegen Essen und Service.

Geht nicht anders. Sowas von freundliches Servicepersonal, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Pizza war auch sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Our visit today with a group of ten was—to put it mildly—a complete disaster. The table was set up in the conservatory, which proved to be a terrible mistake in the cold weather. The forced-air heating system installed there is an absolute nightmare: deafeningly loud, it blasts icy air throughout the room, making any attempt at conversation simply impossible. You sit there, freezing, wondering how anyone could seriously expect guests to put up with such a thing. The food itself? It was exactly what you'd expect for the price—nothing to redeem the miserable overall experience. Our conclusion: For us, today was a complete catastrophe. We would strongly advise everyone against sitting in the conservatory during the colder months.

Friendly and quick. Very busy on Saturday evenings and accordingly noisy... The price-performance ratio is decent.

Nice place, near the Danube Bath. Very friendly, fast service. You can come here for a quick pizza without a reservation. They'll make an effort to seat you. If you want to dine longer, I think it's best to make a reservation. Pleasantly busy on a Friday evening, but not too crowded. Beautiful garden. We had a delicious meal, and we think it's very reasonably priced. The pizzas are freshly made and certainly large enough. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful, large restaurant. Primarily Italian cuisine. Stone-baked pizza. Service was very fast. It's busy, so it's best to reserve a table. Four of us went (based on a local recommendation) early Thursday evening. We were told we had a good hour, but another reservation was needed. The food was pretty good, and the service was friendly but not intrusive. My 0.5 pint of beer arrived very chilled at the table and in my mouth. Upon request, a spice set (oregano, chili powder, coarse salt) was brought to the pizza. Chili oil was served right there at the table. Service was prompt and polite. The pizza was freshly baked in less than 10 minutes (with the beer garden full). Fair prices. The selection was perfectly adequate. We'd be happy to come back.

The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten. Perfect. I can't say anything about the pasta...we didn't try it. The tiramisu is unique...

We attended a business lunch at the Jakobsruhe with international guests and were delighted. The fresh, delicious food, especially the sharing appetizer plates and the authentic wood-fired pizza, was a real hit. Plenty of space, a pleasant atmosphere, and ideal for groups. We'd love to come back.

Great staff, cozy place, delicious food, but unfortunately some portions are far too small for the price, for example, with spaghetti or ice cream scoops.

An absolute recommendation – a perfect birthday at the Jakobsruhe 🌿🍝 We celebrated my birthday today with eleven people at the Jakobsruhe in Neu-Ulm – and I have to say: I was more than pleasantly surprised! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and served with a friendliness that is unfortunately far too rare these days. Our waitress, in particular, was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional – that's what service should be! But the entire team was also consistently personable, accommodating, and simply wonderfully friendly. Thanks for the extra tablecloth!! The food? Every dish was perfect, fresh, and lovingly prepared – Italian cuisine as you would wish it to be. And the location: A beautiful green garden, quietly situated, with a very special flair. Perfect for relaxing hours in a pleasant atmosphere. My guests and I were absolutely thrilled – and I already know: I'll be celebrating my birthday here again next year. Whether pizza, pasta, or salad, Jakobsruhe has been an absolute favorite in Neu-Ulm for years. The service is always very friendly, the food is always delicious, and the waiters are generally very prompt. The garden is stunningly beautiful, and the interior is cozy. Zurück zu den Anfängen vor Jahren, da waren sie bemüht und Top !! Jetzt ist der Gast egal und es zählt nur noch der Profit !!! Schade !!

Simply fantastic! I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and was thrilled. The service was super fast and extremely attentive, which made the entire visit very pleasant. The pizza was not only delicious but also quite large! I particularly liked the small "beer garden," which invites you to linger and offers a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely be back!

The welcome, friendliness, and seating assignment according to customer request (without a reservation) were friendly and professional. I found the menu a bit simple for an Italian restaurant – paper coasters! Furthermore, I was missing typical Italian dishes like baked pasta or lasagna. Taking my order and delivering the drinks were extremely quick and friendly. The appetizer (bruschetta) was an absolute flop – the bread wasn't toasted and was soggy and mushy. The garlic and onions were also a bit meager – you definitely need to learn or rework the bruschetta (unfortunately, it was a grade of 5 for an Italian). The pizza, on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic and saved the evening and this review. Overall conclusion: For an Italian restaurant, it could be improved a bit, but otherwise nothing spectacular.

A real insider tip in the region! This pizzeria is always a highlight for us. The pizza from the wood-fired oven is simply sensational – crispy, aromatic and topped with high-quality ingredients. The pasta as well as the fish and meat dishes are always freshly prepared and taste great. The service is extremely friendly and warm - you feel welcome from the first moment. The cozy beer garden is particularly nice, where you can sit wonderfully in the shade of an old chestnut tree in summer. Ideal for families: There is a small playground where the children can let off steam while you enjoy yourself in peace. Absolute recommendation – we’ll always be happy to come back!

Reservations for dinner on Friday evening. Restaurant extremely full, why is a mystery to me today. Ordered pizza parma, pasta with salmon, pino grigio and a bottle of water. The pizza dough was substandard and tasteless. The topping was not Parma ham, the wine was like vinegar. What you really have to say is that the service staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Ambiance, unfortunately like in a train station hall.

We were looking for dinner while passing through and were craving pizza. We weren't disappointed here with the excellent wood-fired pizza. I had the Popeye version with spinach and gorgonzola, which was extremely tasty. Service was also very attentive and quick.

Great restaurant, excellent service, and the food was top-notch. The price was reasonable. We now have Gold Ochsen beers (formerly Memminger :-()).

Super delicious, but there's something wrong with the pizzas. The crust is different, too soft and squishy. But otherwise, very tasty, and the service was quick and friendly. In terms of price, I have to say, it's almost too expensive: the Gamberoni pizza costs €17. Even in Italy, you wouldn't pay €17 for a Pizza Mare. If it cost more, it wouldn't be acceptable.

All in all, I can happily recommend the restaurant.
