Agradable restaurante típicamente italiano. Pastas y pizzas, ricas sin ser nada de otro mundo. La atención fue buena, y el precio económico. La decoración interior es bonita e invita a una cena de amigos o familiar. Recomendado!

From regular to “never again”: - no greeting - No table set despite pre-ordering, 3x reminders on site - Waited 30 minutes for the waiter to order drinks - because he was standing outside talking on the phone... - Baked casserole was served cold, even after informing the waiter there was no reaction - Reordered drinks were not brought - The contents of the invoice included things that we had neither ordered nor consumed So service is different!!!! ... it's a shame that it's faded so much because we know it was better, really good. But you don't give up hope 😉. If the original service, the food is hot, the table is set as ordered and the bill is more conscientious, we will be happy to come back... it's up to you 🤔

Pasta with shrimps is great, but I don't recommend tiramisu. It has nothing to do with Italian cuisine

Ich war mit meinem Partner anlässlich seines Geburtstags zum Abendessen im "Sardegna". Der Service war ausgezeichnet, sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Unsere Vorspeisen und das Dessert waren ausgesprochen lecker und sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Leider waren unsere Hauptspeisen sehr salzig. Ein Hinweis an die Bedienung blieb seitens der Küche unbeantwortet. Das hat unseren Eindruck von einem guten Restaurant sehr getrübt.

In the morning excellent coffee, in the evening a tasteful spaghetti marinara and a wonderful salmon dish. We enjoyed the house wine. Warmly recommend. The restaurant is next to the Nicolaikirche and difficult to miss.

So either the cook had a bad day today or was sick and the caretaker had to take over, but the food really wasn't good. While the starter (bruschetta) still caused enthusiasm, our main courses (pasta and risotto) were a disaster across the board. First the waiter came and said 'black homemade pasta doesn't taste good today, normal pasta is ok too' and then the pesto was green liquid cream sauce (although we explicitly asked if there really was no cream in it) but no pesto and the other sauces just didn't taste good. I'm sorry but I can't recommend the store, even though the service was really nice and helpful.

Great Italian ambience, family atmosphere, good selection of Italian dishes. The Ristorante is located on a side street directly next to the Nikolaikirche. The food tastes good, the service was very professional. We'd love to come back!

I just wanted to have a drink with my wife... We were told we also had to eat something. We didn't find it nice at all! Absolutely not recommended!!!!!

The service was quite excellent and the ambience is really sweet. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. With the homemade pasta with Gorgonzola sauce and nuts you had to look for the Gorgonzola. It was actually just a cream sauce. The pappardelle with fillet tips were so mediocre. The tiramisu was mostly dough and cream and far from any amaretto taste. Therefore, I can only recommend the restaurant to a very limited extent.

We were here for the first time today but certainly not the last. Super friendly and very professional service. Thank you very much for the lovely evening!

Average experience. Location is nice next to the Nikolaikirche, prices are ok. Spaghetti Carbonara was more Linguine 'alla' Carbonara. + Pasta was al dente - Sauce was scrambled egg with bacon without any cheese. (please rename to 'alla carbonara').... Watch out when paying by card. They wanted to charge us 10% standard tip (Trinkgeld) as an excuse for card payment...they said it was normal. Never seen that in Germany.

The food was delicious and we got it to the table quickly. When me and my child asked for a table, they said we were free to choose. However, when we wanted to sit down at the large table, we were pointed to a small table. When paying, I rounded up the amount and the cellar was totally disappointed when I didn't tip more. Luckily in Germany, the job as a waiter is paid, so you should lower your expectations regarding tips. Be happy and grateful that you have customers who are satisfied with your food. Card payment is only possible from €30.

Maybe we were lucky compared to previous reviews. Staff very friendly, spontaneously got a table for 3 despite the holiday. Food was great and came very quickly. Lasgane, pizza and pasta salmone were our orders. Gladly again.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Cozy . The seating is not typical of a fast food restaurant. The service is very friendly. Small but nice - also when it comes to your wallet. I go there more often now. Other Italians seem more like “Mitropa”.

Children undesirable. We asked for a table for 4 people .2 adults 2 children. We were told there was nothing available. There were 8-10 tables for two free. When I asked if two tables could be put together, they grinned cheekily and said that wouldn't be possible.

A nice restaurant with unfortunately bad food. The homemade pasta with fillet tips and chanterelles for around €18 was unseasoned, watery pasta. The "fillet tips" inside were tiny little chunks of regular pork, definitely not fillet. The three chanterelles in the dish tasted like nothing. Very unfortunate. The pizza was ok. Not great, but ok

Unfortunately, an unpleasant culinary experience. Spaghetti carbonara was actually spaghetti with scrambled eggs, the lazania was tasteless. The service was good, but what was the use... The chef was definitely not Italian!

Quite ok. The waiters were nice, it's nicely decorated and the prices are perfectly reasonable. The food is ok. Unfortunately no longer. The egg in the carbonara was curdled and the other dish was bland. I could do it just as well at home, and I'm neither a cook nor Italian.

Pasta, wine and pannacotta were delicious. Tiramisu was ok. Unfortunately calamari were very tasteless. Spices were obviously completely omitted here, as was the rasmarine potato side dish. Spontaneous visit to the restaurant. The young waiter was a little reserved towards us and it lasted the whole evening. It took some time before we could place our order. The food came quickly and tasted quite good too. All in all it was very nice and I can recommend it ☺️

There were six of us there and we had a cozy side room for ourselves. The food was very good once it finally arrived (wait an hour). The service was friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, the tap water was out, the prices in the shop window are out of date, the food was good in itself, but not groundbreaking.

We received an almost rude welcome because we arrived 5 minutes after our reservation time (despite 2 calls beforehand). He was just able to show us the free table, that's all. So we had to take the jackets and coats with us to the narrow table. After waiting for more than 20 minutes, we asked for the menu. After 35 minutes at the table we were finally asked about the drinks. This wouldn't be so bad if there had been at least one kind word... I'll be there for you right away... or something like that. The portions were relatively small in terms of value for money. Instead of spaghetti there was linguine and in another portion the pasta types were mixed. For me, the plate was set for every meal. The dessert was overly sweet; the espresso would have been too good. Unfortunately it came 20 minutes before dessert. We invited two employees and had a good time, but I was very embarrassed by the service.

Big praise to the chef, fresh food, nicely prepared. Very polite service, strangely no card payment “possible” “today” (it was supposed to have been displayed somewhere at the entrance, although “today” is actually “always”). Luckily we still had enough cash with us, otherwise it would have been embarrassing. The tomato soup, the lasange and the rump steak were all great. Really. The food can be unreservedly recommended. The only downer was the dirty tablecloth.

Schon öfter, während unserer Kurzaufenthalte in Leipzig, in diesem Resaturant gegessen und wir waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden. ich hatte für Freitag-Abend einen Tisch - 2 Personen - zu 19.30 Uhr reserviert. Als wir hereinkamen waren einige Tische frei, aber keiner war gastfreundlich eingedeckt. Der Kellner kam mit einer kleinen Tischserviette und deckte vorhandene Flecken ab - Besteck und Serviette gab es dann beiläufig. Ich erwarte bei einer Reservierung einen freien Tisch komplett eindeckt. Keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre - kannten wir anders... Bezahlung per Karte war nicht möglich - heute eigentlich normal. Das Essen war wieder lecker. Der weitere Service war sehr schlecht - das Geschirr wurde sehr spät abgeräumt. Vorher keine Nachfrage, ob noch Getränke gewünscht werden - somit sind wir dann zum "Absacker "ins Barfusz" gegangen - dort war man als Gast WILLKOMMEN... Schlechten Service konnte ich auch am Nebentisch beobachten - langes Warten auf den Kellner zur Bestellaufnahme. Am Sonnabend - Abend sind wir noch einmal am Restaurant vorbei gegangen - nur weinige Tische waren besetzt ... Wir können diesen Qualitätsabfall nicht nachvollziehen und sind sehr enttäuscht vom Service... Wir waren dann noch 2 mal im "Barfusz" - leckere kleine Gerichte und ein toller Service ... geht auch anders

If you order a beef fillet, you should get one! Especially when this is the most expensive meal on the menu! I placed two 5mm thin steaks on top of each other and fried them completely. There was also no question about the cooking level. An absolute no-go! That was the last time!

We were walking around the city and I really wanted to drink quality coffee and when I saw an Italian restaurant I immediately went there. There were three of us and when we came in, we were offered to sit at a large table that stood under a spotlight. We first sat down at it, but realized that we were uncomfortable and moved to a small table under a canopy in the shade. we went there for 10 minutes to drink coffee. We didn’t bother anyone by occupying a small table, since there were only two tables occupied on the terrace. When the waiter returned with the menu, he saw that we had moved seats. I said that we didn’t need a menu, since we came to drink quality Italian coffee. in response we were told that «this is a restaurant» and they do not serve drinks without ordering food🙂🙂🙂 I heard this for the first time in my life. Naturally we left. I'm still in shock from this incident)

It's a very nice restaurant, but the portions have become relatively small now. Unfortunately the prices are not. But at least the food tastes good.

Ich rief an, um einen Tisch für vier Personen zu reservieren und versuchte in Erfahrung zu bringen, ob es Lasagne gibt und ob man mit Karte zahlen kann. Die Person am Telefon wusste scheinbar nicht, wie das eigene Menü aussieht und musste erstmal mit mehreren Personen sprechen, um meine Fragen beantworten zu können, die ich außerdem mehrmals in immer simplerem Deutsch wiederholen musste. Angekommen war die Person an der Theke sehr überrascht davon, dass wir als Vierergruppe einen Tisch reserviert hatten. Uns wurde dann auf die Schnelle ein Tisch, in miserabler Lage, zugewiesen, der erstmal noch vom Restgeschirr ehemaliger Gäste befreit werden musste. Der Tisch wurde danach trotz deutlich sichtbarer Flecken auch nicht nochmal abgewischt und die typische Origami Serviette gab es nur an einem von vier Plätzen. Auch als Überbleibsel der Vorgäste. Das Ambiente ließ zu wünschen übrig. Es war beengt und die Einrichtung war stillos. Stühle, Tische und Sitzbänke passten stilistisch und materiell nicht zusammen und die Deko im Raum war ziemlich dürftig, wenn an einem Punkt eine Flagge von Sardinien die Wand zierte, stand an anderer Stelle eine Art Ming-Vase usw. Die Notausgänge waren mit durchsichtigem Klebeband zugeklebt, die Toilettenkabinen von innen dunkel und unbeleuchtet. Das Essen wurde Recht zügig serviert und war Geschmacklich in Ordnung. Mein eigenes Gericht dabei aber eher enttäuschend, ich hatte die "Tagliatelle al Tortufa", wobei das Mengenverhältnis der Zutaten unzumutbar war, während es viel zu wenig Steinpilze gab, die ein wenig nach TK-Massenware schmeckten, war alles voll mit den Hähnchenfilet Streifen, die zu trocken und zäh waren. Die Sauce war Solide, aber etwas zu lasch. Dass man Erst ab 30€ mit Karte zahlen kann, wurde uns bis zum Zeitpunkt des Ankommens der Rechnung vorenthalten, was uns glücklicherweise aber nicht zum Verhängnis wurde. Das Personal war unzuverlässig und nicht Freundlich und nicht bemüht um seine Gäste. PS: Das Vanilleeis Dessert war auch ein Witz.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit Charme.

Schon öfter, aus verschiedenen Anlässen, legte ich in dieses Lokal ein und war sehr zufrieden. Deshalb entschied ich mich, mit 15 Gästen hier zu feiern. Am Eingang hing ein unscheinbarer Zettel, heute keine Kartenzahlung möglich, den ich übersah.Zum Glück wie mich ein Gast darauf hin. Die Frage nach einer alternativen Bezahlung, z.B. auf Rechnung, würde verneint. Das kann passieren, jedoch hätte ich bei 15 Gästen erwartet, das ich im Vorfeld informiert werde oder persönlich darauf hingewiesen werde. Der Service zur Bestellaufnahme dauerte. Das Essen schmeckte, jedoch stellten wir fest, egal ob Sahnesoße, Weißweinsoße etc., dass alles die Grundlage einer Pilzsoße hatte und ähnlich schmeckte. (Ausgenommen der Tomatensoße). Ein absolutes Manko waren die Toiletten. Trotz mehrmaligen Hinweisen, dass kein Toilettenpapier vorhanden ist, gab es keine Reaktion. Schon gegen 20.00 Uhr gab es weder Toilettenpapier noch Handtücher und der Toilettenraum schwamm, durch das Abschütteln der Hände am Waschbecken. Es war MIR peinlich, meine Gäste dahin eingeladen zu haben. Warum ist das Niveau so gesunken?

I have come to this restaurant several times for various occasions and have been very satisfied. That's why I decided to celebrate here with 15 guests. At the entrance there was an inconspicuous note saying no card payment possible today, which I overlooked. Luckily a guest pointed it out to me. The question about alternative payment, e.g. on account, was answered in the negative. This can happen, but with 15 guests I would have expected that I would be informed in advance or personally made aware of it. The order taking service took time. The food tasted good, but we noticed, whether it was cream sauce, white wine sauce, etc., that everything had a mushroom sauce base and tasted similar. (Except for the tomato sauce). The toilets were an absolute drawback. Despite repeated notices that there was no toilet paper, there was no response. At around 8 p.m. there was no toilet paper or towels and the toilet room was floating due to shaking hands on the sink. I was embarrassed to have invited my guests there. Why has the level fallen so much?

The food was ok, but the service was poor. No card payments, no toilet paper and forever long waiting times to place orders. The children's chair that had been ordered in advance was also not there and was only brought upon request.

Nice Sardinian restaurant right next to the St. Nicholas Church on two floors. The starter (antipasti special) was okay, but nothing special. The portion of calamari from the grill and the one shrimp on top was a bit scarce, but tasty. The spaghetti frutti di mare was okay too. Value for money is a bit off, for what you get. At the end of the evening, the service unfortunately couldn't keep up with the cashiers because each guest wanted to pay individually. Typical German! Unfortunately it took a little longer, but the service can't help it.

Hat alles gepasst. Solide italienische Küche und rascher aufmerksamer Service.

Hier hat alles gestimmt. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal und gemütliches Ambiente. Alles was man sich von einem Italiener erhofft. Die Weinempfehlung hat uns auch sehr gut gemundet.

Essen war lecker. Recht kleine Portionen. Alles kam sehr schnell.

Tolles Lokal. Wir sind regelmäßig hier und immer sehr zufrieden.

Essen war geschmacklich ok. Salat war für den Preis naja wenig. Da hat man echt mehr erwartet für 12 Euro. Auch kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich, trotz kartenzahlgerät was rum liegt und auch Schild draußen dran. Es hängt ein Schild an der Tür mit "keine kartenzahlung möglich". Auf die Frage ob man mit Karten zahlen kann, gibt's die Antwort "ist defekt" ist sehr lange defekt so wie das Schild an der Tür vermuten lässt, welches schon sehr ausgebleicht ist. Wer weiß was da für Geld gewaschen wird

Essen durchschnittlich, nettes Personal und authentisch Italienischer Flair. Im Winter etwas dunkel.

Schönes Lokal in der Leipziger Innenstadt. Essen lecker, das Personal nett, allerdings könnte es etwas aufmerksamer sein und die Gäste schon mal fragen, ob es noch etwas sein darf. Der Nachtisch Erdbeeren mit Mascarponecreme wird kommentarlos als TK Himbeeren mit Mascarponecreme serviert... Beim Bezahlen erfährt man dann, dass Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist und verweist auf einen Zettel, der an der Eingangstür hängt. Dieser Zettel ist bei aufgeklappter Tür nur von der Rückseite sichtbar, bei uns genau so passiert. Im blödesten Fall rennt man dann nach einem netten Abend durch Leipzig und sucht einen passenden Bankautomaten. Find ich echt schade und im 21 Jahrhundert kein passendes Zahlungskonzept.

The pasta was quite tasty but the atmosphere was a bit boring. The service is not good, prices on the door differ from prices on the menu, my bill was 13€ and I gave 15€ to pay, the waiter was not intending to give me the change of 2€. After long waiting time, the waiter came asking me if wished anything else and I said the change, he took another long time find the 2€ for me. Just beware of this trap to keep the change. I left without tipping.

Kleines, feines Lokal. Wenn ich in Leipzig bin, gehe ich mit meiner Freundin immer dort essen. Und das Personal erfüllt uns immer unsere Sonderwünsche.

We had lunch twice at this pleasant Italian restaurant, literally in an alley next to the Nicolaikirche in Leipzig. Great selection of dishes and wines, friendly service and a homey atmosphere. Delightful spot.

This place is full of good food and the staff was very friendly. Prices were low and food was great, especially canellonis.

The menu is huge with something for every taste, staff is friendly and the dishes are mouthwateringly delicious. And on top, the prices are very friendly !

Had lunch, soup was very very salty could not be eaten no taste only salt. Pasta is hot home made even if it says so in the menu the pasta was cooked over the time so it was mushy. The sauce of the pasta was terrible no taste it was a shrimp sauce with two normal shrimps but the rest the very small a few millimeters in length that come frozen. The waiter welcome me in Italian but when I answered in Italian he could not speak it. All the staff was talking a language that is definitely not Italian and it reflects on the food as Italian feels amazing is not there strong point. A very disappointing lunch never to come back. Vapiano close by your s a more authentic Italian meal in my opinion.

This is a small restaurant on a side street adjacent to Nikolaikirche. They had a good menu. The service was friendly and quick. The food was good. The four of us all had something different, and we all were very happy with our meals.

We had a nice supper after attending a wonderful concert with Hélène Grimaud at the Gewandhaus. We arrived a little after 22h00 and they served a very good and tasty pizza accompanied by a nice bottle of Sardinian wine. Kind waiters.

Ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta in a white wine sauce. Not difficult. But this restaurant managed to produced by far the worst culinary experience I have been subjected to in recent years. Ravioli probably rehydrated from a packet of dried. A 'sauce' which was a thin gruel of tomato and onion. The whole not inexpensive. Presumably this place can only survive because of its central location. But that is the only thing it has going for it. Yuk.

We had dinner here starting with 1 kg of shrimps between 4 of us which were superb ! To follow we all had pasta dishes and a pizza to share . Food was great service was also good ... choice of house wine was good and cheap ....better wine was very expensive.

In every city we visit, we try an italian restaurant. Sardinia in Leipzig was not a succes..... The waiter was not friendly at all (alltough my wife speaks fluent Italian). When I asked for the wine list, he answered that he was the wine list. (quite arrogant) The food was not great at all. (the vitello tonato without capperi e.g;) If you are not used to go to an italian restaurant, do not go there, because this is no italian cuisine..... and service is far from friendly

We ordered a pasta in white wine sause, and we got pasta with tomato sauce. Two waitress came to talk to us and didn't agree to change the dish to the one we ordered. Bad food, bad service, and we will not come back. From this moment all of the stuff was bad vibe with us.

This is our favorite restaurant in the city center. We have never been disappointed by the food nor the service, have gone as a couple, have taken friends and bought a gift certificate for friends to be used at the restaurant. The place is hidden by the side of the Nikolai Church, not easily noticed by the regular tourist. The menu has something for everyone and the staff doesn't mind if you just order a salad and a glass of wine. Since the place is rather small, reservations are recommended.

We were surprised with the good quality, as the location is sort of out of the way, on a side of the Nikolaikirche. We had niochetti and ravioli and they were really delicious. The server was super nice.
