Essen ist gut ,aber das Essen dauert viel zu lange

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Auf dem Schlossplatz war eine Veranstaltung aber das hat nicht gestört. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Lassen Sie sich vom freundlichen Empfang nicht abschrecken. Die Bedienung ist einfach nur beschäftigt und effizient. Sobald es etwas ruhiger ist, kann man sich aber gut unterhalten. Wir haben die hausgemachten Tagliatelle, Lasagne und Bruschetta sehr genossen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass die Bruschetta große Stücke rohen Knoblauchs enthielt. Köstlich! Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Weinen, die wir zwar nicht kannten, aber das Personal hat uns gerne beraten. Die empfohlenen Grappas Catalina waren den Aufpreis absolut wert. Insgesamt ein sehr leckeres und genussvolles Essen und ein schöner Abend. Wir werden morgen die Pizzen probieren. Sie sahen auch sehr gut aus.

Wir waren jetzt zum dritten Mal da und sind nach wie vor begeistert. Das Lokal, das Personal und das Essen sind - so finden wir - exzellent. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen - so wie die Teller mit den Speisen auch warm ausgegeben werden).

Wir waren schon mehrfach in diesem Restaurant, es war immer sehr lecker,nur dieses Mal war es nicht so. Die Pizzen haben einen sehr dicken voluminöse Rand,das hatten wir anders in Erinnerung, das hat uns nicht so gut geschmeckt. Als Nachtisch habe ich auch immer Panna Cotta gegessen,die war immer sehr lecker,mit frischer Erdbeerpüree, heute gab es nur eine extrem Süße Erdbeer Soße,die leider auch sehr künstlich schmeckte. Vielleicht kommen wir noch einmal wieder, heute waren wir enttäuscht.

4,50 eur für einen mittelmäßigen espresso sind schon grenzwertig. Der unterirdische Service eine Frechheit.

Das Essen ist super lecker. Die Kellner waren super und alle freundlich. Ich komme wieder und kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Wir hatten gestern ein traumhaftes Essen. Ruhig Lage, fantastisches Personal und ein unglaubliches Essen.

Die handgemachten Tortellacci mit Steinpilzen und Trüffel waren alle, so bekam ich nach Rücksprache Tagliatella mit Steinpilzen und Trüffeln. Die Pilze waren verwässert und die Trüffel (fast ein ganzer wurde gerieben) habe ich nicht geschmeckt. Es war nur mit reichlich Salz und Pfeffer im Geschmack steigerbar. Am Ende haben die Tagliatella genauso viel gekostet wie wie das ursprüngliche Gericht. Die Damen am Nachbartisch hatten das gleiche Gericht und kamen zu dem selben Urteil. Demnächst erspare ich mir hier die Kosten für geschmackloses und überteuertes Essen.

Erstmal kommt das falsche Essen, dann kommt eine mittelmäßige Bruchetta und dann wartet man über 20 Minuten auf die Rechnung nachdem man 3x bescheid gesagt hat... Geht so.

Bestellt bloß keine Pizza, die ist furchtbar.

Vor kurzem habe ich dieses charmante italienische Restaurant besucht und ich kann ohne Zweifel sagen, dass es eine außergewöhnliche kulinarische Reise war. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, mit einer Einrichtung, die die italienische Tradition widerspiegelt und eine intime, entspannte Umgebung schafft – perfekt für ein besonderes Abendessen oder ein zwangloses Treffen. Der Service war tadellos, das Personal stets aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich. Unsere Kellnerin, die sehr freundlich war, empfahl uns hervorragende Gerichte und zeigte eine tiefgehende Kenntnis der Speisekarte und der Weine. Die Küche ist wirklich der Star des Hauses. Jedes Gericht, das wir probiert haben, war ein Fest der authentischen Aromen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die frische Pasta, die mit Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet wurde, sowie die Auswahl an saisonalen Zutaten, die den Geschmack der Gerichte noch intensiver machten. Der Tiramisu zum Dessert war einfach himmlisch – der perfekte Abschluss eines perfekten Abends. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um die wahre italienische Küche in all ihrer Pracht zu genießen. Ein Muss für alle, die gute italienische Gastronomie lieben!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Pizzen wurden schnell serviert und waren super lecker!

Eigentlich sollte es ein entspannter Abend im Freisitz werden, leider hatten sich wahrscheinlich alle Raucher Deutschland (aktuell 21%) mit uns hier eingefunden. So wurden wir von drei Seiten kontinuierlich eingenebelt… die Bedienung erklärte uns auf Nachfrage, dass man die Diskussion mit rauchenden Gästen vermeiden will und das Rauchen daher gleich erlaubt. Schade, denn das Essen war wirklich gut.

Essen war an sich gut aber nicht sehr gut und wenn man den Preis berücksichtigt definitiv unterdurchschnittlich. Die Bedienung war schnell aber könnte etwas an der Freundlichkeit arbeiten. Angenehme Atmosphäre, aber nicht besonders gemütlich. Der Service war schnell und effizient. Die Meeresfrüchtepizza war ausgezeichnet, mit tollem Teig und ungewöhnlichen Zutaten.

Ich fand das Essen sehr lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich, leider ist es im Winter aufgrund der großen Glasscheiben sehr kalt

Wir hatten heute ein wunderbares Abendessen. Die Pizza hatte einen sehr leckeren, fluffigen Teig. Dazu gab es frisch gemachte Chilli- und Knoblauchöle. Für die Kinder gab es Kinderpizza. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Geräumiges Ambiente mit Platz für ein Kinderwagen.

Jo meine Eltern lieben den Laden und ich bin ab und zu wenn es was zu feiern gibt auch mit am Start ❤️❣️ Die Pizza's mag ich Recht gerne , die sind lecker und wenn den Kellnern ein Faupax passiert dann sind sie Recht flexibel oder kümmern sich um den Gast 👌🏼👍🏼🍕🍽️

Das Essen war sehr lecker, allerdings ist bei der Calzone (wir hatten zwei) mehr Teig als Füllung und die Lasagne könnte auch einen tickets größer sein. Das Ambiente ist hier wirklich angenehm, es war wirklich voll aber trotzdem schön und auch nicht zu laut.

Best spot in the house, but far from the best place in town! We waited 20 minutes for drinks. Of the three mint leaves in the "mojito," two were dark brown, and the bruschetta came with a "garnish" (hair). Both were remade, but without a hint of regret. Another 45 minutes later, the FIRST main course arrived. After waiting another 10 minutes in vain for my pizza, I called it quits, went to the nearest waiter, listed the complaints, and asked for the bill for the two drinks and the bruschetta. They made us wait another 10 minutes and charged us €21.90 without batting an eyelid. NEVER AGAIN!!!

For an Italian restaurant, the cappuccino was surprisingly bad. It tasted like an Americano with slightly too thick a foam. But the service was friendly, the location was good, and the atmosphere was nice, hence the 3 stars.

We arrived at 9:55 p.m. after the Gewandhaus concert and were served excellent food despite the kitchen closing at 10:00 p.m. The staff were super friendly and attentive.

Our first impression of La Piazza was very positive – a stylish ambiance and a great view of the Burgplatz. There's definitely a lot of potential here. Unfortunately, our visit ended in disappointment: We only ordered three desserts and waited over an hour without being served. We finally called it quits. I hope this was a one-off incident, because the location and ambiance are truly beautiful. Unfortunately, it didn't work for us.

We were there for our 5th wedding anniversary. It looked beautiful from the outside, but the service and food were disappointing. Although we were among the first guests, we waited a long time and were the last to receive our food. Carpaccio with yellowish arugula should not have been served. Pizza was delicious, but the main courses arrived about 20 minutes apart. The shrimp pasta was so oversalted it was inedible – we reported it, paid, and left disappointed. We also had the impression that our Eastern European accent influenced the behavior. Currently, we would not recommend it.

The staff is friendly, but the food has deteriorated considerably! We won't be coming back. The restaurant is very dark, so I can't recommend it anymore. It's a shame, but I wouldn't recommend it!

We ate there today. Everything was delicious, and for a slightly higher price, you get the full Italian menu at a relatively high level! Highly recommended! The staff was consistently friendly and professional! We'd love to go back!

The taste wasn't even average. The chef seems to have little to no experience or simply no professional integrity. It's sad how good ingredients are wasted. The food arrived cold and some of it was burnt. The staff was friendly, which was the best part of this visit.

The waiter ignored me as a woman. Unfortunately, he only spoke to my husband. Until it was time to pay, and I was the one who paid... well, bad luck with the tip...

Delicious pizza right in downtown Leipzig. Great taste and very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is also great, right on the edge of the city center. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a delicious pizza for lunch.

We waited a very long time for the waiter. Then we waited another 30 minutes for the pizza – and it was brought to us. The pizza was terrible and completely saltless. The waiter was unfriendly. I can't recommend this restaurant!

Simply put, it didn't really taste good. The homemade spaghetti was too al dente for my taste, almost "stiff." The cheese sauce and truffle slices weren't my thing either. It tasted of nothing. The ribeye was sliced very thinly and a bit over the medium rare I ordered. Too expensive on top of that. It's doable, but I don't anymore... The speaker was also broken and made a loud noise the whole time. The service was very nice...

Hey, the pizza had great dough, the salami wasn't really my thing, otherwise it was really great, I can only recommend it, the staff was okay.

We had lunch here as a group on Saturday and were not disappointed. The appetizer platter was large and delicious; the calzone was absolutely delicious, as was the pasta from the Parmesan loaf.

A disaster! We used to love coming here when we were in Leipzig. We went back today. Unfortunately, it was really bad. Tagiatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, which was the only thing you could find. But the beef fillet with chanterelle mushrooms was amazing. The quality of the meat was abysmal. Fatty and completely sinewy. A no-go for €45!! I sent it back; they wanted to bring me a new one. My wife had eaten in the meantime; I had to wait 45 minutes! We paid and left. Service was unbelievably bad, food was unbelievably bad! We still left €60, and not a word of apology or any impression that we should provide better service or quality. Not good customer service. A real shame, we used to love going here. But there seems to have been a change of ownership, and now it's very bad! That's it for us.

Burgplatz has been nicely renovated, especially the town hall. It's mostly quiet and frequented only by pedestrians and cyclists. The lasagna was okay but nothing special. The gnocchi with goat cheese and truffle was very tasty. The three waiters could only be encouraged by waving, but they provided two bowls of water for two large dogs. The oleanders surrounding the terrace provided a very nice separation from the pedestrians and a lovely backdrop for a dog photo.

There were five of us dining. It took a while for the server to arrive and take our drink order, but that wasn't a problem. We ordered food in the meantime, and the drinks arrived at the same time. So we waited about 30 minutes for the drinks, which were served with the food. The food was averagely good; the pizza had the usual toppings, but the pasta was a bit small. We would have liked to all eat at the same time and not have received the pizza 5-10 minutes later. That should be doable with five people, and the restaurant was far from full. The second round of drinks also didn't arrive for 20 minutes, which is comparatively long for cold drinks. Our server wasn't particularly friendly and rather annoyed. It was worth a try, but I don't think we'll go again. See for yourself :)

Good place to have a beer, nice surroundings

After a reservation was canceled, we called with little hope and asked for a table. 15 people on a Saturday evening! The response was fantastic! They arranged tables together to form a long table, and we were able to celebrate the milestone birthday happily after all. And the emergency solution ultimately turned out to be the jackpot: a beautiful, long table, delicious food, and very friendly and attentive staff! There was even a little surprise dessert with a candle for the birthday girl. Thank you so much. You saved our evening!

The tomato sauce on the pizza is a bit bland

The location is very nice. The food was delicious, but unfortunately, three of the four dishes were already cold when we arrived at the table. The service was awful... We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, over an hour for the food, and I had to go to the counter to pay because the server ignored our table. The cold food was mentioned and accepted without comment. We were glad when we finally paid and won't be coming back.

Food (Spaghetti Giovanni) tastes like on a plane: tasteless. I'm not a professional, but I can cook much better than that. Waiters seem blasé. This restaurant definitely only works because of the great location. Keyword: tourist trap. I can't understand positive reviews at all.

Unfortunately the worst Italian I have ever experienced. First of all, despite a reservation, the reserved table was given to us after a 45-minute wait. The service during this time refused to take the drinks because we would be seated at the table “in 2 minutes”. The service was also very slow later on and forgot to take drinks... Then the main course we ordered came before the starter and was then brought back to the kitchen. Instead of the buffalo mozzarella on the menu, regular mozzarella was delivered for a premium price. The spaghetti in parmesan sauce with truffles, which was delivered after over 100 minutes, only tasted like cream sauce and was in no way worth the price. When we were frustrated and wanted to order another non-alcoholic wheat beer, we were told that there was only warm beer left and that we should order something else. Totally the worst restaurant experience for me in years!

We were there on Friday evening without a reservation - no problem! The appetizer as well as the pizza and pasta were excellent! Staff friendly and attentive - when it got busy later the noise level was quite loud - but that was also due to the construction - but it wasn't particularly annoying - overall highly recommended!

Waiters did their best. But wait 1.5 hours for a pizza that is hardly better than a frozen pizza? The ambience is extremely loud, there was no decent place to sit and the place was basically overcrowded. There's a lot more to say, but I don't want to waste any more of my time.

Try the specials on the menu, they'll make your taste buds tingle! Yeah, I already know what's coming next: "Have you even looked at how much that costs, DUDE?!" Seriously, then you're just the wrong target audience. Great service, cheerful and typically Italian 😁

Unfortunately, after today's stay, not necessarily recommended. The restaurant was permanently filled with smoke as something seemed to burn every 10 minutes. So much so that it sometimes burned my eyes. The bruschetta was too salty. Some glasses were not clean. All of the pizzas were burnt in some places and rather poorly topped. In addition, the 4 of us waited 50 minutes+ for 3 pizzas, only to get the pasta again 5 minutes later. Every service seemed very rushed, which meant that the cheese through which the pasta was soaked was unfortunately not even melted. The dining experience fell far short of expectations. It's a shame, things used to be better here!

Perfect place to end the week on Friday evening. The location, ambience and service are great and the season ticket is impressive. I always enjoy being a guest here. Thanks

We spontaneously went out for dinner at 5:15 p.m. on Valentine's Day. We were told that we had to finish eating by 6 p.m. at the latest. Our waiter was very unfriendly. I had ordered a wine spritzer, when he brought it, I should try whether it was wine or wine spritzer, he isn't sure at the moment. The food was quite okay. The waiter neither wished us a good appetite nor asked if we liked it. I've never experienced anything like that before, we didn't feel comfortable at all.

Unfortunately, the evening there wasn't very nice. Despite having a reservation, the first thing you were asked when you arrived was how long you wanted to stay. The waiter tried hard but not at all, not friendly at all, rather annoyed. The food was ok but nothing more. It's a shame, we actually know the location differently.

I can't recommend it. Completely overwhelmed and price performance is a foreign word. Long waiting times, drinks take longer than the food and are served after the food has already arrived. Carelessly prepared, without any spices or vinegar/oil. Even baguette only on request. If there hadn't been such a really nice waitress who tried to make the best of it, even the two stars would have been too much. 👍 Thanks again to the service.
