Beautiful ambiance, but unfortunately disappointing service Hector's truly has a fantastic location and an exceptionally beautiful ambiance. The decor is tasteful and stylish – from the flooring to the furniture and lamps to the impressive ceiling, everything is designed with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, the positive experience ends somewhat there. Despite a prior reservation, the reception was chaotic: We were initially seated at a table, while the receptionist and waiter apparently disagreed – ultimately, we were moved. After the aperitif, the service noticeably slowed down. There were hardly any requests for drinks, and overall, the staff seemed rather sluggish. While there were many service staff visible, the impression remained that we didn't feel properly looked after. The food was okay – solid in terms of taste, but neither the quality nor the presentation matched the ambiance or price. It was tasty, but nothing special. Our expectations were definitely higher due to the imposing building and the stylish atmosphere. The location is certainly inviting for an evening drink – but those who value service and a culinary experience will be disappointed.

Nice tent. Combination Italian, Greek, Turkish. Simple furnishings. Food is excellent and democratically priced😊 It takes effort to get a seat outside, even though there are quite a few tables. So good sign

I went to this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious – really, really delicious. The ambience is beautifully designed and invites you to feel good. The staff is also great: super friendly, attentive and warm. I will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant!

Schwarzwald Gem Near Baden-Baden a wonderful, traditional destination that feels like a lovingly preserved farmhouse nestled in the beautiful countryside near Baden-Baden, in the heart of the Black Forest. As you enter, you’re greeted on the right by a café and bakery offering freshly made breads, sandwiches, and decent coffee. Just beyond, there’s a thoughtfully curated shop focused on high-quality local products. You’ll find fresh seasonal produce like strawberries and asparagus, excellent meats, local wines, flowers, and other regional specialties — all of outstanding quality. To the left and Upstairs, the magic continues with a cozy restaurant serving traditional German and Schwarzwald cuisine. From perfectly crispy schnitzels to rich wild boar dishes, the menu is a celebration of local flavors. The setting is warm and rustic, and the service is always friendly. It’s the kind of place you come back to again and again — a perfect blend of authenticity, quality, and charm.
