Suvi Sushi & Grill in Baden-Baden

Upon ordering food the waitress didn't speak much German and didn't understand the order even after trying to make sure she understood what we wanted.Cutlery came and the was a cockroach, had to change the set from another table .Food came and it was not exactly what was ordered.The manager compensated this so it was a relief.At the end when we wanted to pay with, the manager had the machine and she was not around.

Nothing was right. The food arrived late, was inedible, and cold instead of warm! Horrid service, which didn't even bother to apologize.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The food was of poor quality, the portions were small, and the value for money was not at all right. The service was inattentive and unfriendly, and we had to wait a very long time for our food. The atmosphere was also unpleasant—loud and chaotic. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

I was shocked to see that the lock on the left door in the women's restroom had apparently been broken for some time! My daughter went to the bathroom alone and locked the door. The lock no longer worked properly and she couldn't unlock it. She had to be freed from the outside by the staff, who seemed shockingly experienced. Then I noticed that the lock had numerous scratches. This was obviously not the first time. There was no apology or any compensation.

The food is extremely bad Their order “the most Tender Fillet” , to us is the hardest steak we have ever tried in my life. The only eatable thing in the menu Is the rolls. Totally not recommended

The food was just about okay, nothing special, run-of-the-mill. Communication was rather difficult. Unfortunately, the atmosphere outside was more like a snack bar than a cozy restaurant.

I do not recommend this establishment. We were there for dinner with my family, a cockroach was crawling on the table and the floors were very dirty. Totally unsanitary. We were forced to refuse dinner. There should not be such establishments in Germany. Unfortunately, we did not have time to take a photo. It is just brutal!!!

An excellent restaurant in downtown Baden-Baden, which has become one of our favorites and we enjoy visiting regularly. Highly recommended: the vegetarian gyoza and spring rolls as appetizers. A unique experience for us so far and a discovery: the roasted soy duck, whether with noodles or rice, is simply delicious. The vegetables and spicy sauce are also excellent! If you're more into sushi, this is also the perfect place: the menu offers a wide selection of different, very good, and delicious sushi and set meals. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very spacious and offers plenty of space. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with quiet music playing in the background, allowing for normal, relaxed conversation. A top-notch restaurant and highly recommended.

Everything was empty on a Friday evening. My mother's duck wasn't fresh anymore, and my sushi was already warm. I hope you can still decide not to eat there. For these exorbitant prices, you can get much better food elsewhere.

So disappointed in this place. We ate, we were ready to pay. They asked how we would pay and we said cash. They immediately expressed they were annoyed. 10 minutes later they told us the credit card machine had died and the batteries need to be charged. The. They asked us how much cash we had. I had only $15 euro which left one of our guest using all her euro to pay for everyone’s meal. Then they refused to give us a paid receipt. Do not go here unless you are paying cash.

We were there around lunchtime and were the only customers. The food took forever. The lettuce leaves were brown. The salmon was good, but there were almost no vegetables. There was no mango lassi. The coffee machine was broken. The men's restroom was broken "today." And the second one in the women's restroom was also broken. There were five staff members, and they were constantly on their phones. Communication was difficult. And expensive. It was our first and last time there.

Surprisingly, they had many items and drinks from their menu unavailable on a Sunday where there was almost no one else present. While our server was attentive, she often missed certain items ordered like the miso soup, gave two sake instead of one ordered, and even did not remember to bring back our takeout box. If you’re visiting for sushi, stick to the fresh selections, as some of the cooked rolls tend to be heavier on sauce. For grilled options, the skewers are a good pick. The restaurant has a decent selection of drinks to pair with your meal, so consider asking for recommendations though know they may be unavailable as they didn’t have any of the Asian beers when we visited. One thing to be mindful of is that pricing can lean slightly higher than expected, especially for specialty rolls, so it’s good to check the menu in advance if you’re dining on a budget. Parking availability might also be limited depending on the location, so plan accordingly. There’s a large paid parking garage nearby. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a casual sushi night, especially if you appreciate a mix of sushi and grilled items in a relaxed setting and don’t mind some service flops and unavailable items.

Preferably 0 stars. We just ordered through suppliers; The portions are an absolute joke for the price. Sesame balls for 6€.. we got 2 pieces as big as quail eggs. The Spring In Rolls (2 pieces) for €7 are a very ugly one cut in half. It feels like I've called 20 times in the last 15 minutes but no one answers. The case was reported to Lieferando.

We visited the restaurant on 08 March for dinner. The atmosphere and the food were relay nice. However the service was poor. There was clearly a misunderstanding between the two people serving. We had to wait ~30-40mins for the drinks and to remind several times. The man was really stressed out, while the lady couldn't understand German or English. The place has a potential, the food was prepared on time and was delicious. So if they improve the service it could reach high results.

The food wasn't good, we won't be coming back. The sushi tasted like it wasn't freshly prepared. Too much money for too little quality.

Strangely enough, the place smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which we couldn't explain. It was 15 minutes before we were allowed to order and that was in an empty restaurant. The food took a long time to arrive, a total of 45 minutes until we had the food on our table. We politely asked to only have tuna and salmon as fish, and makis with shrimp and crab arrived. What was served on the plate was not what was written in the description. Several rolls were missing. Regarding the quality: The strong smell of fish and the old taste of the fish made the food inedible. With a final total of €75, I don't know what I was more sorry for, my wallet or my stomach. In my opinion, the restaurant is not recommended for eating sushi.

The food here tasted normal but smelled very bad. Afterwards I had a bit of a stomach ache and wanted to go to the toilet. When I went to the toilet, I opened the stall door and there was a waiter sitting there. He didn't close the door properly, it smelled really bad, and when he was finished I was in there too but the light went off every 5 seconds because of this sensor. When she looked in the toilet the waiter didn't flush it. Also, the door was so short that you could almost see my whole body.

Delicious sushi, especially with eel, I often come and pick up my order. Cook in the aisles for 15, 20 minutes. The only thing is that the staff speaks little German, but in principle they are very friendly. It's a pity there is no delivery in Baden. Once there were problems with paying by card. The problem has been fixed.

The quality of the fish is first-class and you can taste the great attention to detail that goes into it. I particularly liked the creative sushi creations - every roll is a little work of art! The ambience is modern and cozy at the same time, ideal for a relaxing evening. The drinks menu also offers great selections to match every sushi dish. Suvi is definitely my new favorite place for sushi in Baden-Baden. Highly recommended!

I ordered 2 different rolls and seaweed for delivery here. The delivery person came to the hospital room, thank you very much for that!!! What can I say: the delivery was quick, the food was nice and warm and simply delicious! We were so surprised and super satisfied - I can highly recommend it!

From my personal perspective, if you had to calculate from one to ten, I rate this store at a solid 7.5. − one point for waiting time − one point for parking food and - 0.5 for food quality. The salad wasn't that good.

Food and ambience good, some flaws Found an almost empty restaurant on a Saturday evening. We are traveling as tourists as part of the SWR3 NewPopFestival. Alcohol could not be served due to the lack of a license as the restaurant only reopened two weeks ago. Payment by debit card was not possible because the device fell down the day before. Everything is a bit dubious.

We ordered for delivery. According to Google, the restaurant is open from 10 a.m. We ordered at 10 a.m. and the order came at 12:50 p.m. In the almost 3 hours we waited for the order, we tried to reach the restaurant by phone several times, without success. According to the driver, the opening hours on Google are incorrect. That was all he said about it. No apology nothing. There were also different ingredients in the rolls than those described on the menu.

At first glance, a nice restaurant. Nice facility. Very cold and unfortunately a musty smell in the air. The restaurant was almost empty. There is a large selection of drinks, normal dishes and sushi. Champagne and Miraval wine on the menu. More appearance than reality. Summer rolls were okay but I've had much better ones. Sushi came on individual plates, carelessly prepared. Some of them are absolutely tasteless. Had rainbow rolls and gangnam style, rainbow rolls were simply filled with cucumber and outside with butterfish, salmon, avocado. Gangnam was fried with mayo on the outside, I've never seen it like that before. Tuna maki were okay. All in all a disappointing evening that cost €60. I wouldn't recommend it because there are too many actually high-quality sushi restaurants. It doesn't promise anywhere near what it makes at first impression.

Came from London for the weekend. Chose this place for dinner and i was more than satisfied. The employees were so kind and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve tried other places in Baden Baden but this place was exceptional. Better than a lot of restaurants in London. Sushi was so fresh, portion sizes were big and everything was worth the money. So happy I came here and will come here again and again and again.

The service was terrible. They were hectic and every 5 minutes something fell down. Since there weren't many guests there, the rush was completely unnecessary. After being seated we were told that there was no alcohol because the concession had been lost. Funny. The food was ok, but nothing more. I don't have to have it again.

The star goes to the nice black-haired waitress, everything else was a complete disaster, sushi shouldn't be offered in this shop. Dried sushi rice, tempura ice cold, sushi stuck together so much with a large order, some of the salmon still had the skin on it and the taste was the worst sushi in the area. Unfortunately very disappointed.

We had ordered a sushi platter, biggest disappointment… nothing was freshly fried, but cold shrimp. Everything squeezed onto one plate, even though we had a huge order of €85, it was just pure disappointment. I've never had such bad sushi before. Go and disappoint yourself if you do not believe. P.S. Nevertheless, the service was friendly, the one star is for the service.

Had a delicious vegetarian meal here yesterday. The vegetable coconut curry was great and the soy fillets type beef. The location inside is also nice.

The food was actually quite tasty. Until we got our dessert (Chocolate Princess Tiramisu)... This tasted spoiled and smelled like sour milk. After we asked the staff about it, we received an apology, but we had to pay full price for our barely touched tiramisu. In my opinion, something like this is not appropriate in a decent restaurant. Therefore I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

It was my first time in this restaurant because I had only heard positive things. However, I have to say the price-performance ratio isn't really great compared to other restaurants. The food was visually beautifully presented but the taste was not that impressive. ~ But everyone can form their own opinion about it. The toilets were a very negative point and they say a lot about the cleanliness! Your feet were sticky as soon as you entered the toilets and you didn't want to go into the individual cubicles any further. So we're out in reverse gear again!

Gutes Sushi, Preise für Inside Outs teilweise etwas überzogen (18 € für 8 Stück). Frisch zubereiteter Aufguss aus Zitronengras und Ingwer mit Honig war super, Speisen und Getränke sind schön angerichtet und machen Appetit auf mehr. Soyahähnchen hatte eine gummiähnliche Konsistenz, geschmacklich aber in Ordnung. Wir saßen im Nebenraum, der wenig geheizt war, worauf man uns aber hinwies. Sehr freundlicher Service.

Eindeutig das Beste Sushi was ich gegessen habe. Bin viel unterwegs und esse oft Sushi, aber dieses hat mich umgehauen!! Personal war sehr lieb, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente-wow-sehr schön und sehr willkommen. Die Sushi waren der Warnsinn, man hat jeden einzelnen Inhalt geschmeckt, alles sehr frisch und lecker. Wenig Reis-viel Inhalt. Das haben diese Köche auf jeden Fall drauf! Wow. Immer wieder gerne Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Auf jeden Fall jeden einzelnen Cent wert!!

Food was amazing. Service was a bit slow considering that it was not busy at all that night. But the weak point was the waitress, as she suddenly decided to send us away bringing the bill. We were still drinking our beers, and keen to order dessert and coffee but she decided it was time to leave apparently. She was kinda cold and it was hard to communicate as we didn't speak German. Shame.

De ebi tempura garnalen en loempia's en mochi ijs en cheesescake waren erg smaakvol. Tip: chopsticks voor kids, verlichting weerkaatst op menukaarten waardoor niet handig lezen.

War vor 11 Monaten hier und heute wieder. Damals nicht gut. Jetzt sehr gut, service sehr nett! Sushi und Lachs Qualität auch sehr gut! Frisch, gute Portionen, viel Lachs in Makis, viel Lachs als sashimi. Wurde nicht gegeizt, was ich bei Sushi für sehr wichtig erachte. Top Entwicklung!

Wir haben vorab reserviert und direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Empfang war freundlich und wir konnten nach kurzem checken der Speisekarte direkt bestellen. Edamame und Sushi waren sehr lecker. Super angerichtet und echt tolles Ambiente vor Ort. Da hat sich jemand sehr viel Mühe gegeben - hat sich gelohnt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und werden was anderes probieren.

Wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal dort mit einer größeren Gruppe. Das erste mal zur Mittagszeit, heute zum Abendessen. Schon beim ersten Mal waren wir etwas genervt von der langen Wartezeit. Und zwar die Wartezeit zur Bestellaufnahme. Jeder weiß, wenn man unter der Woche zur Mittagszeit essen geht (Mittagspause) muss alles schnell gehen. Alles ging unglaublich lange, das bringen des Menüs, dann haben wir unübertrieben 30 Minuten auf die Getränke gewartet, dann konnten wir auch endlich das Essen bestellen, anschließend etwa 40 Minuten auf eine kleine Platte Sushi. Und das Restaurant war fast leer…. Beim Abendessen heute wieder das selbe. Wollten das Restaurant eine zweite Chance geben, weil das Essen echt nicht schlecht war. Wenn der Service sich etwas verbessert, ist das Restaurant zu empfehlen.

Decent food and good service We chose SUVI for dinner on the last day of our Germany trip. Good choice and we liked the Chicken, Prawn (grilled), Sushi and the soup. We tried the Wild-berryLemonade and Lassi and both the drinks were also quite good. The quantity of serving was adequate and the taste was good for the price.

Wir (9 Personen) waren abends zum Essen. Tisch war vorab reserviert. Wartezeiten waren unterirdisch lang. Bis wir Getränke bestellen konnten, bis diese an den Tisch kamen. Essensbestellung ging sehr lang. Katastrophal. Der Kellner war nett aber scheinbar mit der Personenanzahl überfordert. Getränke wurden nicht richtig bzw gar nicht verstanden. Kleiner Tische wurden deutlich schneller bedient. ABER!!! Das Essen mega lecker und liebevoll angerichtet ... kochen können sie. Und die Preise breit gefächert. Für jeden etwas dabei.
