Fantastic cuisine and great ambience.

We wanted to try out the Baden-Alsatian cuisine on offer at Domaine 1795, we were there for the first time and were not disappointed. The ambience of this restaurant is traditional Baden-Alsatian, a good regional parlor with a contemporary design and in the truest sense. Very nice and cozy. The service staff is very nice and approachable and gives absolutely good and accurate advice when asked. The menu includes seasonal dishes (autumn dishes in our case) and standards of Baden and Alsatian cuisine. The wines on offer are exciting thanks to the attached wine shop, such as the really successful red wine Shimo from Mallorca, which comes from our own production. The quality of the food is absolutely good, it is freshly cooked, which can and must take a little longer. For the main course we had the freshly prepared veal cordon bleu from the autumn menu, which we ate with croquettes and Pinot Noire sauce (there is also a Münster sauce!) and which was excellent. The same applied to our dessert varieties, which were served in French as Café Gourmand (it was first introduced in Paris in 1990). The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and ambience. We felt very comfortable there - also thanks to the two lovely hosts - and were able to spend a very nice and relaxing evening. Gladly again at any time!

I can only recommend this restaurant. The venison goulash was excellent, and at a really reasonable price. The homemade spaetzle was also great. Everyone else at the table was also very happy. The service is also worth mentioning, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the restaurant!

I had heard they did well with breakfast and brunch, and it turned out they did quite well with dinner as well. The Unicorn salad had generous slices of real chicken, as opposed to that processed nugget stuff, and it was uniquely arranged with a superior home-made balsamic dressing. The service was dragging a bit, but the main dishes quickly came with a simple reminder. My wife definitely enjoyed the club sandwich special, and the black gnocchi dish with pesto sauce was generously portioned and filling.
