Mooie, originele kaart, lekkere gerechten en super vriendelijke bediening. De beste zaak waar we in onze vakantie zijn terechtgekomen. Zeer groot terras met speeltuin.

A lovely garden restaurant with a cozy interior. Can get a bit noisy when there are a lot of guests. The Mühlenhof serves excellent local meat. A small decoration shop completes the experience.

Four of us arrived for dinner by bike. Apparently, only large tables remained in the right-hand part of the beer garden, with large signs reading "8 people only." So we sat on the left side at a table for four. After a good quarter of an hour without any server noticing us, and at least five minutes of vigorous waving, we received head shakes and gestures to sit somewhere else. So, for over 20 minutes, none of the four servers felt it necessary to point out that they weren't currently serving us at our table; they simply ignored us. This was disrespectful and extremely unfriendly to customers. We left; we don't accept this kind of behavior.

The only good thing about this place was the place itself. A nice beer garden. But that was about it. My currywurst for €17 was comparable to the one from the kiosk next door. Cheap sausage and the curry sauce from a bucket. I could count the lettuce leaves in the side salad for €7. It's just a shame, and the food doesn't match the rest of the menu; you'd expect more.

I was there recently – and what I experienced was shocking. Yes, the food is good, the atmosphere is initially pleasant. The staff make an effort, and I want to acknowledge that. But what's going on behind the scenes is absolutely unacceptable. The management – ​​especially a woman with short hair – behaved completely inappropriately in front of the guests. Obviously drunk, she shouted loudly at employees and was visibly intimidated. That wasn't just unprofessional, it was degrading. What I saw bordered on modern slavery: young foreign workers, presumably trainees, who were apparently employed cheaply – some of them probably without proper pay. Their insecurity and language barriers were exploited. And all this in the middle of Baden-Baden. That's not how you treat people. And certainly not in front of the guests. I was stunned – and sad. Such "managers" don't belong in the restaurant industry, but in front of an employment tribunal. I will never set foot in that place again, out of conviction. Anyone who values ​​humanity and respect should avoid this place.

The furnishings are very clean and new, with lots of natural wood. The food is very good. I didn't like it as much, as I was traveling by bike, and you could feel the air being very dry. I felt it was more of a meal plan.

A roulade with a few spaetzle without much taste and creamed vegetables (that already formed skin) for just under 29 euros? The roulade was a reasonable size, but was dry and not particularly flavorful. If you want to have a delicious meal, you should look for another restaurant. Far too high prices for more or less run-of-the-mill food.

This was not recorded on Google or on the website; the opening times were listed as open as normal. On site they pointed out to us rather unkindly that the closed society was announced on Facebook and Insta... unfortunately not where you look as a "non-follower",... on Google..... Too bad.....

It's amazing what has become of the Geroldsau mill. The extensive investment has obviously paid off and has become a crowd puller in the region. Definitely make a reservation for the restaurant.

We have been to the mill many times today after an hour's journey, closed due to closed company, the website says it is open, this was the second time. You probably no longer need to communicate this on your website

Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the mill because there was no parking space left and there were at least 3 cars in front of me that also wanted to park. 4 stars anyway, because it is certainly worth seeing with so many visitors. Avoid Sundays... too busy!

Everyone enjoyed the food, but the portions were too small for the price. The ambience and location is very nice and there is a playground for the children. Next door you can buy regional specialties in the shop. I can't say much about the quality, but I had to look for a while until I found something without E flavor enhancers. Wir waren zu einem familiären Anlass in der Mühle. Ambiente wirklich super, Service freundlich, Küche naja war nicht der Beste Tag, aber auch nicht schlecht. Das Wiener Schnitzel nicht ganz saftig und der dazu servierte Kartoffelsalat überwürzt. Burger war okay. Suppe auch. Wir kommen wieder da wir wissen das es nicht der Beste Tag war.

The menu offers something for everyone and is perfectly prepared and so far without any criticism in terms of quality. The staff is very friendly and attentive despite the high workload.

Bei unserem Besuch in der Geroldsauer Mühle war ich zutiefst enttäuscht von der Art und Weise, wie Gäste behandelt wurden. Nachdem wir extra die 50 km Strecke zurückgelegt hatten, um den Biergarten zu genießen, wurden wir mit Unverschämtheit konfrontiert, als wir höflich anfragten, ob wir draußen sitzen dürfen. Interessanterweise waren wir nicht die einzigen Gäste, die diese Anfrage stellten, aber es schien, als ob die Entscheidung auf einer Art Klassifizierung basierte. Ein älteres Paar, das sich eigenständig Getränke aus dem Inneren des Restaurants geholt hatte, durfte ungestört im Biergarten verweilen. Als wir den Wunsch äußerten, es ihnen gleichzutun, wurde uns das vom Inhaber selbst auf herablassende Art und Weise verweigert. Mein Eindruck war, dass das Verhalten gegenüber den Gästen stark davon abhing, wie sehr sie dem Idealbild des Inhabers entsprachen. Offensichtlich war es ein Problem, dass wir nach einer Wanderung in Jogginghosen erschienen. Wir waren in der Vergangenheit öfter dort, jedoch haben wir nun das starke Bedürfnis, weder unsere Freizeit noch unser Geld in diesem Etablissement zu verschwenden. Es ist bedauerlich, dass der Inhaber scheinbar keinen Wert auf anständiges Verhalten gegenüber seinen Gästen legt.

Was uns aber in der Geroldsauer Mühle an Speisen serviert wurde wir dem Ruf eines Peter Schreck nicht gerecht!!! Schade! Feldsalat mit Katenspeckwürfel billigste Sorte und verwurzelt, Wurstsalat mit Senf Marinade total matschig! Fazit Note 6 setzen!!

Yesterday we went to the Geroldsauer Mühle for a quick snack We ordered sausage salad and white sausages (1 pair). Everything was perfectly prepared (sausage salad was a huge portion) it was all very good and tasty! The ambience, including the senior manager who keeps a watchful eye everywhere, was perfect! A gastronomy with heart and soul! Perfection also has its price, which is justified here! We would be happy to come back and are sure that we will be served as nicely as yesterday!

We went there today for a drink after our walk. The reception at the entrance was simply shameful and unacceptable from the old receptionist who clearly turned us away. For an establishment of this standing this is unacceptable!!!

Super nice restaurant with delicious food. However, the burger was a bit dry and in our opinion there wasn't enough sauce for the fries. The other dishes we had tasted great. Only the service leaves something to be desired. Drinks were empty on the table and no one asked for new drinks. After the meal we cleared away and after that it felt like our table was no longer taken care of. We had to speak to the service staff for our dessert. This is often offered to you directly.

We visited the inn today. The ambience is beautiful and furnished with a lot of love in a rustic charm. The order is placed within 5 minutes. After the drinks, the food was brought quickly. The waiter was very friendly. Unfortunately, the taste of the food neither matched the high-quality ambience nor the price-performance ratio. Unfortunately, with a burger for just under 25 euros where you could count the fries and the bread was completely crumbly, you can't speak of a taste experience. What I found worst, however, was that we had to wait 40 minutes after eating to be able to place further orders such as dessert or coffee. There was simply no waiter, it seemed more important to clear other tables. So after eating we weren't asked if we would like to order anything else. Even if there is a lot going on, this shouldn't be the norm. Annoyed, I informed the employees at the counter twice that we would like to order more. We would certainly have increased sales significantly if the service had been right. Conclusion: Friendliness alone and a nice ambience are not enough to meet the needs of a guest. In my opinion, the core is a taste experience with good, attentive waiters. However, this should not be perceived as negative criticism, but rather as a suggestion for improvement.

Bakery Dreher from Gernsbach is the shop-in-shop tenant here. Delicious baked goods, tasty coffee. The delicatessen supermarket, also rented with an operator model, offers a wide selection.

This was our second time staying here as we were visiting family in Baden-Baden. Lunch was okay this time, but we remembered it tasting better from last time. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upper range, but this is understandable given its proximity to Baden-Baden. We find the combination of a small supermarket, bakery, butcher shop with Black Forest specialties and a charming shop with beautiful decorations particularly appealing. The rooms are solid and the breakfast area is acceptable - nothing extraordinary but sufficient. Overall, we felt comfortable and would like to come back if we had the opportunity. This is a beautiful spot with stunning scenery all around. We made a quick stop here and ordered coffee, which was decent but not as fresh as we'd hoped. The lady at the counter wasn't particularly friendly, either. However, the location itself is perfect for a brief stop. With its natural beauty and cozy ambience, it's an ideal place to take a relaxing break.

The products in the village shop are totally overpriced

A very nice mill. The Mühlen Restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food was great. The market hall offers a lot of selection. (also a bit expensive.) I would be happy to come back.
