A 4-year-old little girl was intentionally pushed around several times by the waitress, out of the way of the children. She was playing in a corner with a reservation sign and dropped it. The waitress immediately pushes the child away and insults him. If you want to complain about it, no one is there and the waitress complains that she didn't receive a tip from her colleagues. Then the waitress tried to push my wife out of the restaurant until my 4 year old daughter started crying hysterically. Minus 100 would be an appropriate rating. Sofort kommt die Kellnerin schupst das Kind weg und beschimpft es. Wenn man sich darüber beschweren möchte ist niemand da und die Bedienung beshwert sich bei den Kolegen kein Trinkgeld erhalten zu haben. Dann versuchte die Bedienung meine Frau auch noch aus dem Lokal zu schupsen bis meine 4 Jährigfe Tochter anfing hysterisch zu weinen. Minus 100 währe eine angemessene Bewertung Ich möchte vor dem Laden nur warnen. Lest die anderen 1 Sterne Bewertungen das im höchsten Maße grob unhöfliche Verhalten ist hier wohl eher der Normalfall. What a great little place for food. Stopped in for lunch. Had the Weiner Schnitzel, which was unbelievable. The rest of the gang had other dishes and were extremely happy. Loved it so much we went back for dinner.... just as good!!!!! 😁😁

Erhalten habe ich den traurigsten Burger, der mir jemals angeboten wurde: billigstes Brötchen, Tiefkühlpatty tot gebraten und minderwertig (sehr sehnig), günstige Hamburgersauce, Zwiebel roh, … Null Leidenschaft! Enttäuschung pur und preislich nicht ansatzweise gerechtfertigt. Einmal und NIE wieder!!

Ja, das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und von der Terrasse hat man eine schöne Sicht auf die Passanten in den verwinkelten Strassen. Der Latte war in Ordnung und der Service wirklich bemüht. Was aber aus unserer Sicht garnicht geht ist die für den Gast deutlich vernehmbare Kommunikation zwischen blonder Führungskraft und der Mitarbeiterin. Dies hat mit Wertschätzung nichts zu tun ... NEIN, wir kommen nicht wieder!

I really love this place. It’s at a very prime location just at Leopold‘s Platz and the environment is beautiful. The food was delectable and for how crowded the place always is the service wasn’t too bad. I went on a date with my boyfriend and it felt very romantic with the environment and the sunset and everything. Just have to find the right spot because it can get very very crowded. Overall loved it.

Das Lokal liegt superzentral, mit einem schönen Außenbereich. Das hauseigene Bier ist gepflegt gezapft, gut eingeschenkt und schmeckt, sehr aufmerksam serviert von den ausnehmend freundlichen Bedienungen. Das Essen allerdings ist nur durchschnittlich, dafür sind die Preise aber eher gehoben.

Amazingly fast service, the ordered food was served within 10 minutes. It was very tasty, made from fresh ingredients. The toilets are located in the basement, they are clean. Baby changing table and high chairs are available.

The Amadeus is perfect for a late meal. They welcomed me at after 11 p.m., when the kitchens were about to close. You can taste all types of food there, including local specialties. The two dishes I ordered, pork medallions with mushroom sauce and spaetzle, were very successful, as was the penne with gorgonzola. The restaurant has an ideal location, on a very quiet square in the city center. In the evening, the atmosphere on the terrace is particularly pleasant. However, on my first visit, I encountered a waiter who told tourist tables that service was not included in Germany and that he received no salary. The next table left him a huge, substantial tip. When he gave me the same speech, I pushed him to clarify, and he maintained that in Germany, waiters were only paid by tips. I felt his discomfort. I checked afterwards: this is all obviously false. When I returned the next day, he avoided my gaze, and his colleague confirmed that his allegations were false. Such practices can give a bad image of the city to tourists and harm the reputation of this restaurant, which is otherwise excellent. One star less for me concerning.

Cependant, lors de ma première visite, j'ai eu affaire à un serveur qui affirmait aux tables de touristes que le service n'était pas inclus en Allemagne et qu'il ne percevait aucun salaire. La table voisine lui a donc laissé un énorme pourboire . Quand il m'a tenu le même discours, je l'ai poussé à préciser, et il a maintenu qu'en Allemagne, les serveurs n'étaient rémunérés qu'au pourboire. J'ai senti son malaise. J'ai vérifié par la suite : tout cela est évidemment faux. À mon retour le lendemain, il a évité mon regard, et sa collègue a confirmé que ses allégations étaient mensongères. De telles pratiques peuvent donner une mauvaise image de la ville aux touristes et nuire à la réputation de ce restaurant, qui est pourtant excellent par ailleurs.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Une étoile en moins me concernant.

Wir haben seit Jahren im Amadeus gegessen und waren bis voriges Jahr sehr zufrieden. Heute allerdings haben wir den bekannten Badischen Rindfleischsalat bestellt, der mit dem aus den Jahren zuvor nichts zu tun hatte. Das Rindfleisch war von schlechter Qualität und auch als solches kaum zu erkennen, der Geschmack war neutral. Das Dressing war wohl ein Fertigprodukt. Letztendlich waren wir das letzte Mal hier, schade eigentlich.

Good beer and traditional German dishes

We had a nice meal - salad and I chose it because on the internet I found the Seasonal Menu (which they don't offer in the restaurant unless you ask for it) because it offered a salad with Pfifferlinge. Loved it so much we went back the next night. Right on the main intersection in the old city, this place was swarming with diners, especially since the Euro Cup games were going on, yet they still found a great table for us immediately on both nights. Food was excellent, from fresh salads to decent pastas and pizzas to delicious schnitzels. The star for me was their beer. They brew some in-house, and their keller bier and schwarz bier were some of the best I had on our entire trip, a really flavorful departure from the (rather boring) pils and helles found everywhere in Germany.

The service was good, very gentle. We order the "Schweinefilet-Medaillons" and the Rumpsteak. The spätzle of the Scheweinefilet-Medaillons was mixed with other types of pasta, hence we guess they cooked all together. The Rumpsteak was too expensive, since the fried potatoes were not homemade and the steak was not really juicy.

Warning: pure tourist trap! I can't remember ever having such a bad meal in a restaurant. The Wiener Schnitzel was three tiny limp lobes of breadcrumbs soaked in fat with no other flavor. The salad was soggy. The Berlin Currywurst tasted like it came from the microwave. The tagliatelle were crumbly and floating in an inch of water. The 5 euro bottle of water came to the table opened and was definitely just filled up. I have nothing against tap water, but then prices like that shouldn't be charged for it. Just the way it is done in Italy. Beer was bland and warm. They managed to fry fries. But the main catastrophe was the staff. Openly makes fun of the guests or complains loudly about them. And about everyone. Extremely uncomfortable. I took friends there based on the reviews. Big mistake. I was ashamed the whole time and apologized non-stop. Never again.

Shameless waiters!!! I've never experienced a waiter yelling at guests because they wanted to pay or order something. This shop is probably designed only for tourists who only come once anyway. You definitely won't be able to win regular customers with this kind of staff. Even if the waiter had a bad day, you don't have to put up with something like that as a guest. My recommendation is to get up and leave or, even better, give this store a wide berth. There are plenty of other options in Baden-Baden!

I’m really unhappy with the service as I waited for more than 15-20 minutes for them to take my order. And the waitress got offended why I didn’t speak German! And why would since l’m a tourist on a vacation for a few days!!

Too expensive for the poor quality, you pay €15-20 for a ridiculous plate of pasta with random seasonings… The market one for €4 is much tastier. The quantity is small for the price too.
