Heerlijk eten hier! De naam moet je echt proberen. Een open keuken waar je de chefs kan zien werken. Vriendelijk personeel. Soms hoor en voel je de U-Bahn of S-Bahn overkomen, maar dit voegt naar mijn smaak alleen maar meer karakter toe. Ga hier zeker even langs!

Ich hatte dem Indian Village auf Google eine ausgewogene Bewertung mit 3/5 Sternen gegeben, positives hervorgehoben, aber auch Kritikpunkte sachlich angesprochen. Indian Village hat die Bewertung unter wahrheitswidriger Behauptung einer Diffamierung löschen lassen. Demnach betreibt das Indian Village offensichtlich Bewertungsmanipulation. Nicht kritikfähig zu sein ist das eine, aber so ein Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und zudem ein Verstoß gegen das Wettbewerbsrecht.

Highly recommended restaurant, attentive service, a wide range of food and drinks and an authentic ambience. We have the three-course lunch special (broccoli Cream soup, crunchy mixed salad with honey mustard dressing and lamb khumbab in ginger curry sauce with basmati rice) and found it excellent. The price-performance ratio is optimal. We definitely recommend a visit and would be happy to come back.

Went there for lunch today. Luckily we were there around 11:45 a.m. and had reserved. By 12 it was full and there was no space left. What speaks for the restaurant There was a good lunch menu. Main course, salad and soup of the day. For less than €10, a good price and you'll be full Service was very friendly and nice. The food also came to the table quickly and warm. We'd love to come back!

We had dinner here tonight, the Dahl maknee was delicious, very generous portions. The onion pakoras's we had as a starter were yummy and plentiful. The reason I gave 4 stars for the food was we were only given 1 pappodam and we noticed every other customers had 2 we only found this out after. It's minor but attention to detail counts. Would definitely go back when we visit Berlin again!

I have rarely seen such courteous and attentive service in Germany. We, as super sensitive Europeans, found many things to be much too spicy and without us having to say anything, we were asked if everything was okay and if we would like yogurt sauce to neutralize it. But it wasn't just that, but the whole personality and charisma of every single employee! We'll definitely be back!

Our food was good, but the service was a bit rushed and abrupt. The menu is rather classic, but the dishes were all delicious, the view into the open kitchen is nice! Tip: Many guests come because of the particularly cheap drinks/cocktails. The restaurant is therefore very busy; reservation is helpful.

The food was really good. The location is a bit noisy, the seating is tight and it's packed - ultimately a good sign for a restaurant. It's worth going and trying it out.

We had chicken pakora and garlic naan to start—both were tasty and well-prepared. For mains, we tried one of the spicier lamb curries (second last on the menu) and a spicy chicken curry (also near the bottom of the list). The lamb curry stood out with a much richer and deeper flavor, while the chicken one felt a bit flat in comparison. Garlic naan was great for pairing with the sauces. We also had two cocktails, but those were underwhelming—not very well balanced. Overall, we enjoyed the food, especially the lamb curry and starters, but wouldn’t recommend the cocktails.

Delicious Indian cuisine. Service is good. You will be served quickly. Price/performance ratio is absolutely right. Lunch specials are top-priced. Starter soup, meal with salad and espresso at the end from 7.90 euros. With a large drink you usually stay under 15 euros. Since there is only one large guest room, the noise level is quite high when the room is at full capacity. Facility is functional.

We came on Wednesday afternoon around 4pm but the restaurant was empty. The waiter didn't speak English so we had difficulty understanding what he was saying. But we ordered the main dish and the dessert and it was delicious.

Good Indian food, your normal traditional dishes, well prepared. Very attentive staff. Nice happy hour deal for cocktails 🍸. Not rushed to leave, you can just sit and enjoy your meal.

The service is not hospitable here .the staff is not welcoming and very unfriendly .you are charged for even asking for extra sauce despite the fact we ordered 4 samosas and 2 potato patties among 5 people we got very small sauce portions which weren’t even sufficient for one ! The tea tastes horrible here and they aren’t open to any feedback ! Despite the fact we sent the tea they did not put any efforts to make it taste better and we were charged fully for it!

Unfortunately, the Indian restaurants in Berlin usually fall short of the possibilities that Indian cuisine offers. The rule of thumb applies: the shabbier the atmosphere, the more authentic the food, while in all these Amrits you are usually served bland, over-European dishes. Accordingly, caution was advised, because the Indian Village has a really nice ambience that almost completely avoids oriental kitsch. The open kitchen is also interesting and trustworthy. The service is friendly, fast and attentive. The audience is very international/touristy, which is not a disadvantage in Berlin. There isn't really anything negative to say about the food: the Paneer Jalfrezi was solid, but just not spicy at all, so I would like to have had more courage for authenticity. I have little understanding if, as a restaurateur, you continue to serve your guests inferior industrial beers in 2025. No, beer is not the Indian national drink, and yes, there is also Kingfisher (from the bottle) as an alternative, but does it really have to be Berliner Pilsener? No. So the choice fell on one of those happy hour cocktails that are almost inevitable for Indians in Berlin: Mai Tai. Well, let's just say that the expectations of a strong drink for 5.90 were met. All in all it was a nice evening. With a little more courage in the kitchen and a more tasteful range of drinks, one or two more stars would be possible.

The food was subpar, and the waiters started closing the restaurant abruptly while we were still eating. This was my worst dining experience in Berlin. This place has a quick service, kind staff and the allergens on the menu are clearly marked. As a celiac I found a lot of gluten free options here and everything tasted delicious.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to this time. My friends and I went here because we were craving Indian food, and what a letdown. The taste was mediocre at best, and the chicken meat seemed questionable. The service was terrible—One of the staff acted like we were bothering him just by being there. The only decent thing was the music, which made the atmosphere somewhat bearable. Other than that, it was a complete disappointment. Definitely NOT recommended.

I was there spontaneously with my lovely dear friend because we were hungry and I was craving Indian and we were around the area, as always when we get to hang out :p Anyways I loved the Chicken Tikka and she loved the lamb Tandoori that we both shared! I would give it all in all 3,5 and she would give it 4 out of 5 stars. So if we average we get a score closer to 4, so it is. It is a really nice ambience and option, even if just for drinks!

Food was good, there were many vegetarian options. But the toilet was terrible on the women's side, who would put the only proper-sized wash basin inside the men's?? Not to mention the men's is about three times the size of the women's, I guess they just don't want a lot of women customers...

Paneer Makhani only tasted like pureed tomatoes with sweet cream, the chicken wasn't of good quality and unfortunately the naan didn't convince us either. Dal Makhani was the only thing we enjoyed. Oh guys...what do you expect from Indian cuisine??? I let myself be seduced by the good reviews…..Unfortunately…!!! My chicken jalfrezi simply tasted like tomato sauce with curry. And my husband's lamb dish was more like a sheep! The female waitresses were rather unfriendly, the waiter tried to “save what could be saved”. Too bad! Not recommended…

Indian village is the best Indian restaurant in berlin. It has the most delicious Indian food I have ever had in berlin. The Indian people serving there, especially the female staff is so kind and friendly, moreover the girl a little short heighted girl was so good and nice to me. I highly recommend you guys to go and visit this place and give it a try, it is totally worth it guys.
