A very good spot for Indian food

We made a reservation based on the very good reviews and it was really excellent. It is a very nice restaurant, the staff were very accommodating and friendly, the service was top and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back!

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I had to this time. My friends and I went here because we were craving Indian food, and what a letdown. The taste was mediocre at best, and the chicken meat seemed questionable. The service was terrible—One of the staff acted like we were bothering him just by being there. The only decent thing was the music, which made the atmosphere somewhat bearable. Other than that, it was a complete disappointment. Definitely NOT recommended.

Total recommendation! Very tasty food, cozy atmosphere, extremely attentive service. Very centrally located (at Alexa, Berlin) and easy to reach by public transport!

The food was absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for Indian cuisine in Berlin, this is the place to go. The staff was extremely friendly, and while it gets very crowded in the evening, we were seated quickly. Portions are big, prices are fair, and overall, it was a great experience. Plus, the garlic naan is a must-try!

I was there spontaneously with my lovely dear friend because we were hungry and I was craving Indian and we were around the area, as always when we get to hang out :p Anyways I loved the Chicken Tikka and she loved the lamb Tandoori that we both shared! I would give it all in all 3,5 and she would give it 4 out of 5 stars. So if we average we get a score closer to 4, so it is. It is a really nice ambience and option, even if just for drinks!

Food was good, there were many vegetarian options. But the toilet was terrible on the women's side, who would put the only proper-sized wash basin inside the men's?? Not to mention the men's is about three times the size of the women's, I guess they just don't want a lot of women customers...

The food packed so much flavor! The plates look small but they are a lot! They had nice music as well as a very romantic restaurant. Highly recommended, especially if you haven't eaten much and want to fill yourself!!

I ordered delivery and it was amazing. The quality and heat was perfect. The taste is extremely amazing. I ordered chicken tikamasala, the quantity was huge, with a really strong and nice flavor. I truly recommend. Really good restaurant

We followed the positive reviews and were not disappointed at all. We had the mixed Biryani, the meat cooking was perfect and the rice excellent. This restaurant will delight all fans of Indian cuisine! I highly recommend it.

I say it could be better. The restaurant looks great but the food is not good. The Indian spices are missing. I hope this review gets posted. Actually, this restaurant is not recommended. We have eaten in many Indian restaurants and it was much better there. Sorry for this review. But I learned as a child that you should tell the truth

We love Indian cuisine and came here based on the good reviews. Unfortunately the food disappointed us. Paneer Makhani only tasted like pureed tomatoes with sweet cream, the chicken wasn't of good quality and unfortunately the naan didn't convince us either. Dal Makhani was the only thing we enjoyed. Very unfortunate. Edit: The restaurant subsequently attempted to have this review deleted.

Very tasty... Service was also very good. Will stop by again next time we visit Berlin. This is the fourth time I have visited here and I am always impressed.

Oh guys...what do you expect from Indian cuisine??? I let myself be seduced by the good reviews…..Unfortunately…!!! My chicken jalfrezi simply tasted like tomato sauce with curry. And my husband's lamb dish was more like a sheep! The female waitresses were rather unfriendly, the waiter tried to “save what could be saved”. Too bad! Not recommended…

Indian village is the best Indian restaurant in berlin. It has the most delicious Indian food I have ever had in berlin. The Indian people serving there, especially the female staff is so kind and friendly, moreover the girl a little short heighted girl was so good and nice to me. I highly recommend you guys to go and visit this place and give it a try, it is totally worth it guys.

The food was good, but the service could be improved. They served the rice for two people in a single pot without asking if we were okay with sharing, which felt a bit unusual and could have been handled better.

My friend and I had a great surprise in this place! We went there based on the reviews and we weren’t disappointed! The place is very cosy with comfortable seats! It is also relatively big for bigger groups! The staff were very friendly and most of all, the food tasted really amazing! Pricing was also reasonable despot its central location! One extra person plus: you have a glass view to the kitchen!

We visited the restaurant because we wanted to eat something spicy. We arrived around 4 pm with no reservation and the staff was very very nice and incredibly friendly. We were blown away when the food arrived. My daughter ordered chicken vindaloo, I ordered duck vindaloo and my son ordered chicken tandoori. We also ordered butter Naan and they were soooo nice and gave us 4 pcs of papadam as gift. I forgot to take picture of my vindaloo and managed to take picture only the tandoori’s chicken. My daughter and my son literally cleaned the whole serving bowl of their meal and licked every part of the meal and finished all rice that were given. I even had to remind them to have some dignity because they made me feel as I have never fed them. The food were amazing and delicious. Authentic Indian food with top service. We are hoping to be back one more time before we leave Berlin and head back to Indonesia.

Wow, what a gem. Location is not nice, but what the heck. Get away from the hustle and bustle of 'Alex' and enjoy the Indian (open!) cuisine. It will also be no coincidence that this place is full of Indians.

I would recommend paneer jalfrezi for spicy lovers and Indian dhabas nostalgia.

Really great Indian food in a nice atmosphere. Many Indian guests who were guests that evening thought so too. You could eat comfortably with your hand. At best it seemed a little cramped. There were also cheap, appealing cocktails. We would be happy to come again.

Had a lovely and extremely quick dinner here. Ordered 1 main dish and a beer, and I was back on the streets in 30 minutes! Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. In fact, everything went so quick that I felt a bit pressured to place my order while I was still browsing the menu, so I quickly picked the main dish but I forgot to order my naan. Also, the chicken tikka massala tasted great, but I would have liked it a lot spicier. But overall, it's a great place to eat! Make sure to make a reservation, because it seems to be quite popular.

Table reservation is a must here, otherwise you have to wait quite a long time for a table. The food is delicious, perfectly seasoned and not heavy. The cocktails are very tasty and have really fresh ingredients. The restaurant is always full in the evenings as it is a very popular area and delicious too :) Highly recommended!

I had the 22, a vegetarian curry with beans, cauliflower and cream cheese. It was spicy and incredibly tasty. The service was incredibly friendly. At the end there was even a homemade mango schnapps on the house. Any time!

Had Dal Makhni here. It's really tasty and with just the right amount of spice. The complimentary poppadum with a tray of sauces was lovely. Be careful. One of the sauces was properly spicy, which for me was delightful, but it might not be the case for everyone. Service was great, attentive, and quick. The menu also offers halal food, but I was in the mood for daal anyway. All in all, it's very good for Dal Makhni, and the quality of service is fairly reasonably priced.

Everything is good food is good but dal makhni is old and smell bad and brother of the Shef don’t speak good and we don’t like his behavour .

We tried their daal makhni, butter chicken and roti alongside a radler. While the daal makhni was quite good, the butter chicken was overly sweet, although we'd asked them to make it spicy, which was rather disappointing. The complimentary papad and chutneys were nice, the radler was refreshing, the ambiance was decent, and the service was friendly.
