The food was simply amazing – as were the service and the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! And the happy hour for cocktails is a great bonus 🫶🏽

I really need to get something off my chest... the food itself is fine, the service, customer service, nothing wrong with it. However, I'm not allowed to have milk due to lactose intolerance and a cow's milk allergy. I ordered a dish that was marked as having no milk. And I received that dish, which was served with, yes, yogurt! Even though the menu indicated it was milk-free? And when I mentioned this, the gentleman became defensive about getting a different sauce? So why isn't it corrected on the menu that the dish does contain milk? I have an opinion on this. I find this very sloppy.

Food is average, pricey, and small portions.

An absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant! As soon as you enter, you're greeted by the wonderful aromas and warm atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding – the chicken, in particular, was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of authentic flavors. The naan was also a highlight: freshly baked, fluffy, and just the right balance of crispy and soft. The service was attentive and friendly, and you can tell the passion the food is cooked with. I highly recommend this restaurant – a true taste experience not to be missed! The open kitchen is also a special highlight!

The food is delicious, and it's very busy, and rightly so. Due to the crowds, there are a few minor errors in the order, so just check the bill and they'll fix it right away.

we were a group of 5 and ordered two types of Nan, butter chicken, samosas, paneer, two veggie dishes ( forgot the name ) and drinks all were very tasty. Service was friendly and prices are good.

Very friendly staff and delicious food on the side street at Alexa in the S-Bogen below the railway line. We had lamb sabji and chicken Madras with naan bread. They also served a chutney set with bread beforehand.

Food was not bad at all, but staff is not that welcoming. Even in open kitchen, people are more frustrated than enjoying. Had to find a place where people love their work, and do everything to provide best of hospitality. Food is more than average by taste and less by portion. Just my views, everyone got pair of eyes so you can see them by yourself, but why waste your time?

I love flavours. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to so far. Just cocktail drinks are mediocre and location is next to main train station. But all food was perfect.

I was disappointed with the quality of the dish, as the biryani came without any sauce and was quite dry. On the positive side, the portions of meat and rice were generous. However, I felt pressured into leaving a tip because the waiter pointed insistently at the tipping options on the card machine while staring at me — which was very uncomfortable and not a pleasant experience.

It's my favorite restaurant in Berlin. The food is delicious, the seasoning is excellent, and the waiters are very kind and friendly. The place is nice and clean. The price is great, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Me and my friends ordered multiple things yesterday and my order was chicken tikka. What was costing 16 euro on wolt and all i got was 6 roasted chicken pieces and a piece of lemon, without any salad without any fried veggies base didn’t looked anything like it showed on wolt.And even the pieces were very salty. And with other dishes too. Wasn’t the taste we expected Was worst experience of Indian restaurant for me and my Friends

We had a great meal and felt well looked after. We've rarely had such good Indian food. The kitchen, separated from the dining area by a huge glass pane, offers a good view into the heart of the restaurant. Even 6 stars would be appropriate here. A highly recommended restaurant "on the edge of the action," charmingly located in the S-Bahn arches at Alex.

We stopped by the Indian Village in Berlin-Mitte for dinner. It wasn't busy, the food was ready quickly, and you can see into the kitchen through a glass pane. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and we received excellent service, fulfilling all our wishes. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The naan bread is rolled out nicely thin, making it easy to slice.

A little off the beaten track, you'll discover a fun restaurant with fine Indian cuisine, fast service, and attractive prices. Anyone looking for a change of Indian cuisine will be well catered for here. We'd love to come back!

The food is very tasty, authentic, and delicious. The service is excellent and attentive. The only drawback is the extremely noisy S-Bahn traffic at Alexanderplatz. Otherwise, the Indian Village is definitely recommended.

One of the worst curries I have ever had. The meat is a very unusual texture. The chicken was very soft. Avoid at all costs. When questioned they said it was normal. No refund offered. Really bad food.

The price and quality are excellent. We went here for lunch; it has a good selection of dishes under 10 euros, including a small soup and salad. The mango lassi and the ginger and mint tea are also delicious.

Avoid. Sloppy, lazy service. Food was disappointing: the rogan josh w/ lamb & madras curry w/ chicken was fine, but the chicken korma and naan breads (garlic and peshwari) were horrible. Also: The restaurant is located underneath the train tracks so every time the train passes you will notice, but if the food had been great, it wouldn’t have been a big problem.

We had dinner at the Indian Village with eight people. The service was very friendly. The prices, unlike all the other restaurants I've experienced in Berlin in a few days, were extremely reasonable, but this didn't come at the expense of quality or quantity. The chicken vindaloo was very good. The mojito was also excellent. All of our fellow travelers felt the same way. Therefore, an absolute recommendation 👍

Absolutely lovely! And a hidden gem in Berlin! We booked this place for dinner during our trip and it is amazing! Lovely value for money as the bill only came to €60 for two of us including an alcoholic drink each. Cocktails are very nice and happy hour is everyday from 5-10pm. Staff were very friendly and food is delicious would definitely recommend!

The food gets two stars, otherwise only one! The wait is very long for your food, and the servers are very busy, so everything takes longer. Although everything is freshly prepared, I still recommend the restaurant!

Terrible experience. I ordered chicken tikka, but they brought me chicken tikka masala instead. I pointed out the mistake, and instead of correcting it, they gave me tandoori chicken the second time — still not what I ordered. The staff seemed careless and unprofessional, with no apology or effort to fix the issue properly. Very frustrating. I won’t be coming back.

An excellent Indian, I can only recommend it. Service was very nice, dishes arrived after about half an hour. Absolutely OK considering that we also got another plate and extra hot sauce (free!) upon request. If the store continues like this, it won't have to worry about going under. Only local restriction: Trains or other means of transport regularly run on the tracks directly above the restaurant, which makes verbal communication difficult during the given period of time, but is definitely bearable. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.

Indian Village hat die Bewertung unter wahrheitswidriger Behauptung einer Diffamierung löschen lassen. Demnach betreibt das Indian Village offensichtlich Bewertungsmanipulation. Nicht kritikfähig zu sein ist das eine, aber so ein Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und zudem ein Verstoß gegen das Wettbewerbsrecht.

Highly recommended restaurant, attentive service, a wide range of food and drinks and an authentic ambience. We have the three-course lunch special (broccoli Cream soup, crunchy mixed salad with honey mustard dressing and lamb khumbab in ginger curry sauce with basmati rice) and found it excellent. The price-performance ratio is optimal. We definitely recommend a visit and would be happy to come back.

Main course, salad and soup of the day. For less than €10, a good price and you'll be full Service was very friendly and nice. The food also came to the table quickly and warm. The food was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive. I had the lamb chop from dam tandoor.

We had dinner here tonight, the Dahl maknee was delicious, very generous portions. The onion pakoras's we had as a starter were yummy and plentiful. The reason I gave 4 stars for the food was we were only given 1 pappodam and we noticed every other customers had 2 we only found this out after. It's minor but attention to detail counts. Would definitely go back when we visit Berlin again!

I have rarely seen such courteous and attentive service in Germany. We, as super sensitive Europeans, found many things to be much too spicy and without us having to say anything, we were asked if everything was okay and if we would like yogurt sauce to neutralize it. But it wasn't just that, but the whole personality and charisma of every single employee! We'll definitely be back!

Our food was good, but the service was a bit rushed and abrupt. The menu is rather classic, but the dishes were all delicious, the view into the open kitchen is nice! Tip: Many guests come because of the particularly cheap drinks/cocktails. The restaurant is therefore very busy; reservation is helpful.
