Dosa King has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin! We’ve already been there twice in a week—that’s how good it is. I tried vada pao for the first time and absolutely loved it. The Manchurian was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. While their dosas are great, the real highlight for me was the Amritsari Kulcha—just delicious! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portions. It’s a fully vegetarian place, which I really appreciate, and the service was perfect—friendly, fast, and very welcoming. I’m definitely bringing my in-laws here next time they visit! Highly recommended!

It's really so delicious. When I was wondering where to eat the dosa I ate after my trip to India, I found this place. Why didn’t I go there earlier… If you are Korean, you must go. The refreshingly spicy, garlic-filled sauce is killer... ! Enjoy mysar masala dosa.

Delicious food and excellent service! The price is also affordable. A must-try are manchurian, Surati cheese Gotala. They have a diverse menu with a variety of cuisines and customized beverage options. There's something for everyone, for sure.

Very tasty and friendly. The street food was very interesting, we had never eaten it before. Flexible regarding special requests. We had a small child with us and our son was treated very courteously and was given food that wasn't spicy.

Viral, der junge Besitzer, ist immer sehr freundlich und sein Service mit einem Lächeln ist ausgezeichnet, nicht nur das Essen, das er in seinem Restaurant anbietet. The restaurant is near the Schloßstr near the Thoben coffee house, there is the subway U9 Schloßstr and it's not that far from the bus stop. The food here is super tasty. The ambience is very nice, friendly service

Despite its name suggesting a focus on dosas, the PURELY VEGETARIAN restaurant(rare to find anywhere outside India) impressively offers a wide range of cuisines, including Chinese, Gujarati, Punjabi, and more. It’s a true culinary hub for anyone missing the flavors of India. During our visit, we tried dishes from the Chinese, Punjabi, and Gujarati menus, and I must say, every dish was as flavorful and authentic as the food we enjoy back in India. The Chinese dishes had the perfect balance of spices, the Punjabi curries were rich and satisfying, and the Gujarati food captured the essence of homestyle cooking beautifully. Among the drinks, we tried the mango lassi and nimbu soda. While the lassi was creamy and refreshing, the real star was the nimbu soda. It was so delicious and reminiscent of the goti soda from Gujarat that I couldn’t resist ordering it twice! The flavors hit all the right nostalgic notes, making it a must-try. This restaurant has a nice selection of Indo-Chinese food, curries, dosa and street food. Tastes authentic, the simple dosa is great for the price (but I had Mysore Masala Dosa) and the people are friendly. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans!

I have only ordered food from here and it reminds me of food from back home in India. The Chinese platter or the manchurian/paneer chilli are just like way side Chinese food in India. Love the kulcha and chole too. I’m so glad this place exists and isn’t making the European version of Indian food. Simple, authentic and tasty. Keep it up.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and we mostly tried Dosa but this restaurant is not just about Dosa. It has many other tasty dishes to offer. Recently I have tried "Choley Khulche" , it was amazing especially the Choley. I hope the taste will continue.. I will continue coming here to try other dishes apart from Dosa like the "Schezwan panner tikka"

The order came almost an hour later than announced without any real explanation. I would have understood if they had told you about this in advance - for example in the event of a possible staff shortage - but as it was, the service was a disappointment.

Bad food alert! ordered paneer chilli and noodles, noodles were okaish and paneer chilli was really bad, the coating was separating from the panner like raw dough and the sauce was just ketchep mixed iwtb water

For the first time, I had such great dosa, chiniese, pani puri in Berlin! I was hesitant to try this place due to previous bad experiences with Indian food in the city, but this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. The Vada Pav, Pani Puri, Samosa Chaat, Mango Lassi, Pizza Dosa, and Mango Lassi were absolutely delicious—bringing back fond memories of India. The Chole Bhature was also very good. We didn't try any other main dishes, but our overall experience was fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

The ambience and the hospitality from the people at the restaurant is something I resented. The food was way too spicy and I could taste the chilli powder in it, because of which we could hardly eat anything and we let the restaurant staff know about it, instead of apologising they had a carefree attitude towards the situation and still expected us to pay for something we did not eat. On the occasion of Navratri I really hope Devi gives the staff of the restaurant the ability to have a little less money minded attitude and help them improve their food quality.

I ordered a masala dosa and Indo Chinese dishes. The dosa was undoubtedly the best I have had. Indi Chinese food was also authentic tasting, a bit spicy. Staff is very polite. Overall a great experience!

They do accept tap to pay and cards for payment. Delicious food beautiful art on the walls. We had the masala Dosa, kaju curry, garlic naan, and tofu fried rice. The dosa was awesome and filled with yummy stuff. Mostly dipped that in my curry. The (saffron?)yogurt ice cream at the end was SO good.

The fried rice and noodles were extremely spicy (Coming from a South Indian). Absolutely no vegetables in either of the dishes. The fried rice and noodles tasted more like a mix of tomato sauce and chilli powder. Wouldn't recommend this place if you want to have a good Indian food.

It is one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin and I dinned in a couple of time there( mostly dosa - south India food) This time ordered North India food and got a bit disappointed. I must say curry is testy. But unfortunately the “Garlic Naan” is not “Naan” rather it was pizza base(regular bread) in terms of texture and test. The combination of Nan and curry is most important for North India food in my opinion and this was completely missed. Hopefully Dosking would consider as a positive feedback and reconsidering for further improvement.

Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Super delicious Indian dishes and phenomenal chai. I lived in southern India for a year myself. I took it as an ideal sign that the restaurant was full of Indian families when we visited and was not disappointed. These dishes are simply authentically seasoned and absolutely recommended. The dosas in particular are just perfect. We were there for the second time now and will definitely come back. Prices are good and the service is very friendly and quick. Cash and PayPal are accepted.

Don’t get fooled by all the positive reviews here as you can see all the positive reviews are from people that are from Gujarat (see the pattern here). I ordered manchurian and dosa and it was terrible in taste with higher prices. I would give two stars because the service was ok. The food quality is not as good as i expected very average. Pizza dosa was very average or poor. Sides dishes are a bit expensive. I would never visit again.

I ordered from Dosa King for the first time yesterday. In the future I will only order something here in an emergency. The food delivered was tasty, but unfortunately our order requests were not taken into account at all. The declaration of the dishes as vegan and vegetarian is exemplary. We ordered exclusively vegan dishes for over 100 euros. In the order I explicitly stated again that everything should be prepared vegan. So why do we still get yoghurt-based sauces and a cow's milk mango lassi on the house? Unfortunately, that really annoyed me. Most restaurants that sell meat are more attentive... The request to have hot sauces added was not addressed at all. Unfortunately, two dishes arrived completely crushed. The lower aluminum bowls were flattened by the weight of the dishes above them and the lower dish leaked everywhere. It's a shame because the food itself was really tasty. But I definitely won't be ordering here again any time soon.

Recientemente visité este restaurante indio Dosaking en Steglitz y debo decir que sirve la comida india más auténtica de todo Berlín / Alemania. La razón principal es que utilizan ingredientes frescos a diferencia de la mayoría de los restaurantes aquí y no han modificado los platos según el gusto europeo. Tienen grandes críticas en Google y por lo tanto visité con mis amigos y estábamos súper contentos no solo con la comida, sino también con la hospitalidad (que es muy raro aquí). Tuvimos Vada Pav, Manchurian, Paneer Chili, Dosa. Todos los platos eran igualmente sabrosos, pero Pizza Dosa era muy único y delicioso y nunca lo tuvimos incluso en la India. Dosis Spezial también eran deliciosos. Un lugar de visita obligada para todos los indios en Berlín, si aún no lo ha visitado.

Finalmente, realmente excelente comida del sur de la India en Alemania. Me encanta la comida india, después de haber visitado la India muchas veces debido al trabajo, puedo decir que este restaurante tiene la comida india más auténtica y sabrosa de toda Alemania. Probamos Samosa Chat, Manchurian después de la sugerencia y otros platos principales Dosa y todos los platos eran impresionantes. Esto seguramente será un lugar para comida india cada vez que estamos en Berlín.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at so far. If you order food spicy, it is often so intense that you can't taste anything except the spiciness. It was absolutely perfect here.

Unfortunately, the Paneer Malai Tikka was absolutely lacking. Offered under the grilled specialties section, as you can see from the pictures, it was not grilled in any way. The taste made us think that perhaps sugar had been confused with salt. The entire dish was very very sweet and not salty at all. Unfortunately very disappointing, we will not be ordering from here again and would advise against it.

The staff was really friendly and were willing to suggest their specialities. They even helped customize the dishes as we desired. In the end they surprised us with drinks as well on the house.The food is not too bad either but not authentic and can definitely improve. Location is a bit off too.

Great, I'm not a vegetarian, but I really enjoyed the food

I had visited this place with my father after hearing about this restaurant. We are south indians and do fancy a nice dosa place. We were disappointed. The menu is full of north indian dishes and only a handful of dosas. The dosa tasted bad as well. It was extremely sour and the chutneys smelled old and bad. A day later we both had stomach problems. I had high hopes, given the name of the restaurant and was excited for my father. Unfortuenely, this did leave a bad impact on his memories of his Berlin trip.

The food is incredibly delicious. We have been regular guests since it opened and always look forward to the food and the friendly staff. If you eat there, you should definitely order Jini Dosa and Manchurian Bites!
