Best Indian restaurant in the south of Berlin. Excellent value for money! I've eaten here at least 15 times now, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I've tried many dishes, and everything has been wonderful. The service is always good and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Three of us ate here today. The ambiance is very Indian. The service is extremely friendly and always attentive to the guest's well-being. The spiciness of the dishes is adjusted according to guest preference. The lassi is excellent. Absolutely recommended for lovers of Indian cuisine.

This was by far the best Indian restaurant I tried in Berlin. The food was so tasty (we had Chicken Madras and Lamb Korma), the staff was incredibly friendly and the whole place is decorated with a lot of taste. Highly recommended!

The food is always excellent, whether eaten in or delivered. Sandeep is also incredibly friendly.

We had Palak Paneer, Malai kofta and Dal tadka. Wrapped it up with two servings of Litchi ice cream. The food was good. I reduced one ⭐ because the Kofta balls felt a little bit oily. But the sauce was good and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place. They ice creams were very good. We had requested for mango (for the kids) and they were completely out.

Without further ado – by far the best restaurant in the area. We always enjoy going here and go there very regularly.

The food was amazing and flavourful. I love the way Indian cuisine is filled with a lot of colours. The duck I ordered was soft and tender, as well as the mango chicken. We even got mango shots on the house 😊. Wish I lived nearby so I could come here regularly.

After a short walk in Steglitz we went here by chance and i had one of the best lamb curry in Berlin! The service was excellent 💯 Highly recommend!

Yesterday I ordered a delicious tikka masala. Today it was a delicious chicken pakora. The ambiance is lovely and the service is very friendly. The taste is 10/10. The service is also 10/10 and the ambiance is well-designed. Nothing to complain about; I'll be back.

I can't understand the enthusiasm of many people here. In my opinion, the restaurant is totally average on all levels: quality, taste (I found my thali consistently bland - apart from the pickles), service, ambience, value for money. All together 3 stars.

Food was okay… until I noticed that the lovely chef who made my soup had trimmed his fingernails over the pot. Fingernails in my soup! Unbelievable… I feel really sick. How can you?

We received such a warm welcome, even without a reservation. The lunchtime menu was very good: tasty and really plentiful. The waiter was super friendly, incredibly good price (14 euros per person, including drinks). Overall package is consistent. Clear recommendation.

As first-time guests at this neighborhood restaurant in Lepsiusstr, we were curious to experience the ambience, the service and of course, the food. What can I say? It was all wonderful. It did take a while to order as well as pay the bill at the end, but we practiced patience. We enjoyed our evening out very much and would come again.

Finally found a good food spot for indian food! Taste was perfect, portions big and the service was great. Highly recommend the homemade mango lassi. And all of that for a very good price. A chicken curry is about 13€!! 10/10

Complete drop in standards, ordered online and the food was floating in oil. They threw the poppadoms uncooked directly into the bag with no covering.

I ordered there for the first time today and it is simply the best Indian food in Berlin ever! And I've already tried quite a few! The Palak Paneer & Roti is so delicious♡

The ambience is very nice - the quiet Indian music in the background is great :) The food is not always the same (you often order the same dishes and they taste different every time). We always order vegetarian dishes because they are some of the best there! Unfortunately, it feels like the ingredients are no longer as fresh as they were a year ago and the naan is not always baked in the Tandor oven, which is a shame. Maintain your good quality or please pay attention to fresh food and dishes again - we would like to come back more often in the future :)

This could be 5 stars, but - no card payment in 2024 - no spicy powder, Chiles etc.

Interior design was ok. The food was too salty, not spicy at all, and when we asked for chilli powder or sth spicy they were overwhelmed. Naans were also not good and papadams looked and tasted as if they are bought from a supermarket No card payment

I often come here with my friends. The food here is great. I like the lamb curry with potatoes very much, as well as the Yogi tea. The Bathura tastes good with the dips. Namaste. Very nice, friendly service and a great atmosphere. You can also make an extra request comment .Good transport connections near Schloßstr and Kielerstr bus stop

Without a reservation you are only allowed to sit “downstairs”.

We ordered Paneer Jalfrezi, Mix Veg Indian style spicy and naan, everything was really good.

The best Indian food in the city, possibly even in the entire country. I’ve only ordered in, I’ve never heard of this place, but the food was fantastic (especially the butter chicken). Usually, Indian takeaway in Germany is mediocre at best—sometimes no better than the ready meals you’d find at a Co-op in the UK. But this was Dishoom-level quality. Next time, I absolutely have to check it out in person.

A great restaurant! The food was delicious and arrived quickly, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was appropriate. We are thrilled and would love to come back! (Unfortunately there are no photos, everything was eaten so quickly ;-) The dog was also welcome, that's what you want!

Very friendly and courteous staff. A cozy restaurant, which is a bit old here and there, but despite that it was very cozy. The food was very good and is recommended. The prices are absolutely fair. We were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and still managed to get a table. Definitely worth a visit.

My meal at Teja was delicious and, as far as I can remember, I have never had lamb saag from any Indian restaurant or generally mixed something with spinach. I was amazed at how tasty it was, but it could have been a little more seasoned. The naan and bhatura was also good. The garlic naan in particular had a lot of garlic on it. However, the service could have been better, especially after eating, it took a long time until we were able to pay again and it felt like more delivery orders went through than normal restaurant eaters. There is also no door to the kitchen, which means that some things smell slightly of grease. This should be reconsidered So the ambience wasn't great either. You could have saved yourself the billy schnapps, but it didn't taste convincing at all. All in all, it tasted pretty good, but I wouldn't go there again. At least if I were nearby.

If you have problems with gluten and lactose, this is the place for you. There is a large vegan selection and most dishes consist of rice and chickpeas. You get a tasty starter and the dishes are plentiful. There are days when the food is more filling than others, it depends on the chefs on duty, but generally the food is good and the service is excellent.
