As first-time guests at this neighborhood restaurant in Lepsiusstr, we were curious to experience the ambience, the service and of course, the food. What can I say? It was all wonderful. It did take a while to order as well as pay the bill at the end, but we practiced patience. We enjoyed our evening out very much and would come again.

Finally found a good food spot for indian food! Taste was perfect, portions big and the service was great. Highly recommend the homemade mango lassi. And all of that for a very good price. A chicken curry is about 13€!! 10/10

Complete drop in standards, ordered online and the food was floating in oil. They threw the poppadoms uncooked directly into the bag with no covering.

I ordered there for the first time today and it is simply the best Indian food in Berlin ever! And I've already tried quite a few! The Palak Paneer & Roti is so delicious♡

The ambience is very nice - the quiet Indian music in the background is great :) The food is not always the same (you often order the same dishes and they taste different every time). We always order vegetarian dishes because they are some of the best there! Unfortunately, it feels like the ingredients are no longer as fresh as they were a year ago and the naan is not always baked in the Tandor oven, which is a shame. Maintain your good quality or please pay attention to fresh food and dishes again - we would like to come back more often in the future :)

Interior design was ok. The food was too salty, not spicy at all, and when we asked for chilli powder or sth spicy they were overwhelmed. Naans were also not good and papadams looked and tasted as if they are bought from a supermarket No card payment

I often come here with my friends. The food here is great. I like the lamb curry with potatoes very much, as well as the Yogi tea. The Bathura tastes good with the dips. Namaste. Very nice, friendly service and a great atmosphere. You can also make an extra request comment .Good transport connections near Schloßstr and Kielerstr bus stop

Without a reservation you are only allowed to sit “downstairs”.

We ordered Paneer Jalfrezi, Mix Veg Indian style spicy and naan, everything was really good.

The best Indian food in the city, possibly even in the entire country. I’ve only ordered in, I’ve never heard of this place, but the food was fantastic (especially the butter chicken). Usually, Indian takeaway in Germany is mediocre at best—sometimes no better than the ready meals you’d find at a Co-op in the UK. But this was Dishoom-level quality. Next time, I absolutely have to check it out in person.

A great restaurant! The food was delicious and arrived quickly, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was appropriate. We are thrilled and would love to come back! (Unfortunately there are no photos, everything was eaten so quickly ;-) The dog was also welcome, that's what you want!

Very friendly and courteous staff. A cozy restaurant, which is a bit old here and there, but despite that it was very cozy. The food was very good and is recommended. The prices are absolutely fair. We were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and still managed to get a table. Definitely worth a visit.

My meal at Teja was delicious and, as far as I can remember, I have never had lamb saag from any Indian restaurant or generally mixed something with spinach. I was amazed at how tasty it was, but it could have been a little more seasoned. The naan and bhatura was also good. The garlic naan in particular had a lot of garlic on it. However, the service could have been better, especially after eating, it took a long time until we were able to pay again and it felt like more delivery orders went through than normal restaurant eaters. There is also no door to the kitchen, which means that some things smell slightly of grease. This should be reconsidered So the ambience wasn't great either. You could have saved yourself the billy schnapps, but it didn't taste convincing at all. All in all, it tasted pretty good, but I wouldn't go there again. At least if I were nearby.

If you have problems with gluten and lactose, this is the place for you. There is a large vegan selection and most dishes consist of rice and chickpeas. You get a tasty starter and the dishes are plentiful. There are days when the food is more filling than others, it depends on the chefs on duty, but generally the food is good and the service is excellent.

I ordered the food home and I'm super excited! The food is very tasty!!!! Everything arrived hot, was packaged really well and was of top quality. The driver was also super friendly and everything even came a little earlier than stated! It was my first order, but definitely not my last!

Went there with a group for a birthday. Despite the reservation, it was a bit back and forth. I don't think the ambience outside is nice, but it's functional. The food wasn't as over-spiced as in many Indian restaurants and you could taste different individual things. Service tried hard, but had its difficulties. One star deduction is that you couldn't pay by card. The website says you can. When paying I was told that there was a sign on the door saying no card payments were accepted. Challenging when you don't go through the door but sit outside. A note when ordering or on the menu would have been good, especially since I invited and then had to scrape together the money.

I recently tried paneer jalfrezi and bhature at Teja restaurant and loved it. The paneer jalfrezi was excellently seasoned, the cheese was tender and the vegetable mix was perfectly balanced. The bhature were fluffy and crispy at the same time – a wonderful complement to the main course. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service rounded off the dining experience. Teja is a must for Indian food lovers!

At Teja restaurant I enjoyed paneer jalfrezi and bhature - a real taste experience. The Paneer Jalfrezi was deliciously seasoned and the cheese was wonderfully tender. The Bhature were perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The pleasant ambience and the attentive service made the evening unforgettable. Teja in Steglitz ist ein wirklich sehr gutes indisches Restaurant. Ich bin ein absoluter Fan der guten indischen Küche und bin sehr angetan von der hier servierten qualitätsvollen Variante. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und man fühlt sich willkommen und angenehm. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Linsensuppe und das geschmackvolle Chicken Chili. Die Preise sind dabei übrigens sehr moderat - keine Aufschläge für Schnickschnack, den ich auch nicht möchte! Die Gasträume sind liebevoll und typisch indisch gestaltet und der Außenbereich ist gemütlich. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Mein liebstes indisches Restaurant. War hier schon einige Male und bin immer satt und sehr zufrieden nach Hause gegangen. Hier findet jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack, es ist preislich total in Ordnung, das Essen kommt relativ schnell und die Kellner sind super freundlich. Toll!

Durch Zufall dort gelandet. Mittagsangebot/Businesslunch ist super. Aber auch der volle Preis ist akzeptabel. War mit meinem Mann dort. Beide Gerichte, Suppe, Salat und Beilagen waren sehr schmackhaft. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente stilsicher gemütlich. Daher volle 5 Sterne.

Wunderbares indisches Restaurant (in einem ruhigen Stadtviertel gelegen) mit zuvorkommender Bedienung. Auch für Vegetarier oder Veganer gut geeignet. Unbedingt Hunger mitbringen!
