India Haus in Berlin

We reserved 1 week in advance. When we arrived it turned out that the reservation had apparently not been noted. So we were placed in the covered annex. Anyway. It's a shame though, because the atmosphere wasn't inviting. In summer with the roof open it might seem cozier. I didn't like the chicken at all. It had nothing to do with chicken in terms of taste or consistency. Bread was provided extra at the house's expense. The service was ok, but it was very stressful. They were very quick to clear away. I was just able to finish my starter salad before the bowl was taken away. We will choose another Indian restaurant next time.

It was quite OK. Didn't quite suit our taste. Have had better Indian food.

Cheap and good Indian food. Not very authentic, but large portions and good quality. Bathura and Daal is very tasty. In 2025 the food was really extremely good. Significantly better than last time. Also authentic. Had daal and palak panneer.

Finally an Indian where you can get Indian food. Great service, short service times. A host who asks about your well-being and friendly service. The store is full, a good sign. Big recommendation.

Now our “go-to” restaurant in the area. Very fair prices, we mostly eat vegetarian and it's always super tasty :) The service is always friendly and attentive.

My family wanted to go out for Indian food and I went along. The rooms are pretty and decorated in warm colors. The food portions are not suitable for filling you up. The dishes served at the next table smoked towards us. I didn't like that. And the duck pieces were soft and not crispy as expected. Maybe Indian food isn't for me.

I went here on the recommendation of Indian friends. After having eaten with these at Indian restaurants - privately and in a restaurant - I was rather disappointed here. The food was more like what we have known from Indian restaurants for 20 years. I missed the authentic spice. So it was okay, but rather boring. The service is indeed very friendly and attentive.

Nice to finally have an Indian restaurant nearby! We have ordered takeaway food and cocktails several times. Everything was always very tasty and we will definitely continue to use it.

Too much sauce on the fruit salad because the fruit draws liquid, the salad with the dressing is too watery, almost mushy. The fresh fruit, unfortunately, has too much dressing. Unfortunately there is also something to complain about with the fish dishes. Redfish fish in food should be soft not Bisfest. Note from the staff about the flour makes the fish drier and firmer. It's a shame that complaints or errors are handled this way. No apology or we'll pass it on to the chef. If you come from the catering industry yourself, complaints should be handled differently. I cannot recommend the restaurant. A few years ago it was very sad

My husband and I went to this excellent Indian restaurant for the first time. The second time I took food to pick up. The food is fresh, hot and really tasty. Here we cook with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is a good recommendation and we will see us again as guests more often. 😊

In general, I can't really understand the very good rating. Yes, the food is quite good. I've been with Indians that I liked better, but also with Indians that I didn't like so much. The prices are absolutely okay, almost rather cheap (these days). I had the "dish of the house" (didn't remember the name), which comes with starter soup and dessert and only costs 18 euros. This is really cheap. There was also salad in advance. By the way, no one asked me what level of spiciness I wanted (just because it was written here). But the staff is neither particularly friendly nor interested in the guests, as they only have their first order on the table. The ambience is okay, but there is still a lot going on there.

The starter was very tasty, the sour hot szppe was also delicious. I don't recommend Chicken Tandoori, the meat was C and should have been in the oven longer. What annoyed me is that I wanted to pay €40 for a bill of more than €30, so I added a tip and €50 was deducted. I paid by card and I didn't see the amount on the display. I didn't see that too much had been debited until the next day when I looked at my bank statement.

Super delicious food and the best Indian in Berlin! Waiters are super nice and attentive. Food comes quickly. Pleasant atmosphere and delicious salad and some kind of bread as a starter for free. I go here often and am always satisfied.

First the menu landed in my mailbox. Speaking of this, I ate there. The service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious and very aromatic, and I will certainly eat there more often.

We ate here several times. It was very tasty. Curry soup and a vegetarian dish, paneer masala and jog tea. Very nice staff and subtle, pleasant music. You feel good. We noticed one small drawback. Since the guest room is not that big, it would be nice to open the window a little more often.

Delicious would be an understatement, Indian cooking here is done with love and spice. It tastes like you're on vacation. In my opinion, the best Indian food in Berlin :)) tasty and, above all, fresh! I highly recommend trying it.

The menu is just as extensive as the portions - hardly manageable. Excellent taste, unusually moderate prices. But: the request to put the cutlery I used for the starter back on the table is unacceptable. Basic rule: once cutlery has been picked up, it is NEVER placed back on the table!! You learn in gastronomy school. Nevertheless - overall highly recommended.

We reserved a table at India Haus for our wedding anniversary. A friend told me that the food here was delicious and the reality far exceeded my expectations! The service was very attentive, repeating each order to ensure everything was understood correctly. The appetizers were so delicious! I've never had almond cream soup before and it was SO delicious that I'll probably order it every time now. The main courses came super quickly and were rich and tasty. The coconut ice cream that my husband ordered for dessert tasted like fresh coconut meat had been grated into it. Long story short: India Haus will definitely see us again. And I can't wait!

Erster Eindruck, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Interieur. Sehr dunkel gehalten, Tischdecke fettfleckig. Das Geschirr hat leider Kantinenflair, da ist viel Luft nach oben. Personal sehr freundlich, Essen war typisch Indisch und zu empfehlen.Preis/Leistung in Ordnung.

Immer freundlich wird man hier empfangen. Preis- Leistung top. Wir gehen sehr gerne hier essen und können das nette Restaurant empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen und ein günstiger Mittagstisch. Im Lokal war gut was los und trotzdem wurden wir schnell und freundlich bedient. Das Essen hat uns (1x veggie, 1x Lamm) sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch Bathuma und Papadam waren lecker. Eine echte Bereicherung für die Karower Gastroszene.

Habe selten so authentische und perfekt gewürzte indische Gerichte genossen! Jedes Essen war ein Geschmackserlebnis für sich. Wer die wahren Aromen Indiens schätzen möchte, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr lecker! Aber: dreiste Raucher, die sich einfach nen Aschenbecher mit rein nehmen und Rauchen, da sollte das Personal was sagen und nicht weggucken!! Geht gar nicht!!
