Indian Express in Bremen

I really liked the food Fair price.

We were looking for and Indian Restaurant and came here after a tiring journey, the staff was very friendly and even gave us student discounts. The food we ordered was Chicken Kothu Porotta, it was really delicious and in too much quantity. I definitely recommend this place!

Waited 2 hours for delivery, for an 8km journey! Absolutely not okay! Very unfortunate! Unfortunately there are no zero stars!

Overpriced food, many positions on the menu not available, thick smoke in the air, creepy owner(?) in sweatpants who mixed up the drink orders. Also ayran tasted like it had a spoonful of salt (so that a poor soul who ordered it would have to buy some other drink as well). Literally nothing good about this place.

We found this place on Google and we have been to this restaurant for having vegetarian dishes. We enjoyed the food, enjoyed the hospitality of the staff. They were playing devotional songs, that brought some positive vibes. We tried veg biryani and channa curry with parota. All were really tasty. I found prices too reasonable. I recommend visiting this small restaurant.

Authentic Indian restaurant. Very tasty, good and fast service

Unfortunately not recommended. The food tastes like convenience food. Not inedible but I expect fresh, not seasoned ketchup and tasteless, dead-cooked vegetables from a restaurant. The portion was very small, I could have eaten 3 times as much... I had to cook after a main course + starter for €17 because I wasn't full.

I've been there 4 times now because I come from Cologne. The food is simply delicious and the boss is a super nice and accommodating man. I can only recommend the food is super delicious.

The food was very tasty and cheap. Small shop that mainly does delivery service. But there are also a few seats.

Only got food after 2 hours. Cold. Rude staff on the phone. NEVER AGAIN!

I ate some delicious chicken there, it was a good standard and I think they deliver that consistently here. The rice was well seasoned and tasted good too. the good, reliable Indian from next door. But I would prefer to order because it seems a bit “snack-style” locally. Prices were quite cheap, but that was due to an offer, maybe that's still available :)

Very good Indian food at fair prices. You can sit there, it's simple but authentic. Very friendly and obliging owner. If you like Indian cuisine, this is the place for you.

The food was delivered. That's why I can't comment on what it's like there. But the food that was delivered tasted great. Two identical dishes were ordered. Unfortunately, one of the rice was only half full. That's really annoying! Bread was also not included, which is to be expected from Indians. For 15.90 per dish the content of the meal could be more extensive. We couldn't get enough of it. Unfortunately, this leaves a bad aftertaste.

Phew, I don't know what to say. I ordered a currywurst “XXL” and tomato soup. I don't know what they put in the tomato soup, but it tasted minty and basil was probably thrown in too until it doesn't work anymore. The currywurst "XXL" was a normal one with a few fries and a mini dollop of salad. 10.50 euros for that is really steep, especially since there was nothing crunchy about the sausage, it was just limp. The positive thing was that the delivery was on time, even if the soup looked like it had been shaken in a shaker. Regrettable.

Super delicious food, we indulged in it!! Authentic food, we felt like we were in India. That's almost a reason to come back to Bremen ❤️💖🤗

Would give 0 stars. If only there were! Ordered 2 dishes. The delivery was ok on a Saturday. But the food was just meat in a lot of sauce and we couldn't find the vegetables that were supposed to be there. The salad was completely missing. For sauce with rice, it was way too expensive! We cannot recommend it. A PITY

Only stopped briefly because I didn't eat anything for half the day. It was SUPER tasty. The service was very friendly with good tips on what I could eat. So I'll come by here more often... TOP VERY TASTY

Just ordered here for the first time. I can't say anything about the taste yet because I haven't gotten around to it yet. I ordered a yoghurt-mint sauce with it for €2.50. See photo, there are about 3 tablespoons left and two tablespoons leaked in the bag it was delivered in. It's a shame we were so looking forward to the food but unfortunately the first impression was disappointing.

They have very few options for vegetarians, but overall the food was very nice and the only thing I didn't like was that the lassi was too salty

Eating on site and ordering: lots of vegan selection. Delicious. Prices ok for the sizes of the portions and dishes. Very nice people there. You also always get bread as a gift. Thanks!

Service not good, they seemed too busy, may b less no. Of workers, they just come 2 times, first to take order, secondly to deliver on table.. rest they don't think, we may need any thing more.. even my daughter feels thirty, we don't have water on table, thankfully we have bottle with us, we provided her that.. We want to order more, but with this service, where we can't see anyone, don't want to stay there more. Husband went to say them, pls provide bill, so that we may leave.. Even food is not as per Indian standards. Not having wheat flour Chapati.

Had an amazing curry here last night 20th October very good quality they spoke perfect English (sorry about my poor German pronunciation) but had an amazing time only downside it was cold when we eat inside

Als Lieferservice sehr zu empfehlen. Leckere und große Hauptspeisen, allerdings könnten die Suppen noch etwas besser werden.

Super schönes Restaurant mit netten angestellten und super leckeres essen. Fast keine Wartezeiten und ausreichende Portionen.

Erstmal danke das sie früher aufgemacht haben, aber leider war bisschen Tikki Masala in meiner Zwiebel, was ich damit meine 90% Zwiebel und 10% des restliches essen. 👍

We ordered home delivery for dry tandoori, chicken tikka gravy with three parotta of total worth EUR 50. To my surprise, I was disappointed to the extreme and the review of 4.6 is somehow quite questionable. I would not have rated more than 2. I am new to Germany and getting a good Indian restaurant based on reviews is a biggest mistake I have made here. Tried Shalimar, In-dish restaurant and these are better but not great. Taste in Indian Express restaurant nowhere reaches closer to a proper Indian non-veg. Maybe it is some SriLankan style or so. However, not at all worthy.

Das Essen war super, wir mussten aber fast eine Stunde auf das essen warten.

Ich hatte kürzlich spontan entschieden, mit 15 Gästen zum Abendessen ins Indian Express zu gehen. Der junge Mitarbeiter war wie immer sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Die Qualität des Essens war wieder einmal unschlagbar! Eine Freundin aus Berlin sagte, sie wäre nie von sich aus hier hinein gegangen - mutet das Restaurant doch eher wie ein Schnellimbiss an. Sie war begeistert! Immer wieder meine erste Wahl! Heute ein erneuter Versuch: Bestellung direkt per SMS mit persönlicher Ansprache. Das Curry war wieder perfekt, aromatisch, mit Ingwer, Kreuzkümmel und allen Gewürzen. Wunderbare Schärfe.

Habe hier sehr lecker gegessen und komme gerne wieder. Große Auswahl an Hähnchen- und Lammgerichten. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die viel Wert auf Sauberkeit legen.

Bereits beim Betreten des Indian Express wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt. Wir haben dort gespeist und das Essen war super lecker! Zweimal wurde nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung wäre. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind angemessen, die Portionen groß und vorallem das Personal ist super nett. Vielen Dank!

Mir hat's geschmeckt, der Service war freundlich, gerne wieder. Kleiner Abzug für die fehlende Gemütlichkeit und weil alles zu 4 Sternen passt.

I have not visited the restaurant personally, but i do order channa masala and bread frequently from them. Would definitely recommend to try their authentic delicacies.

Ich bin ziemlich überrascht von solch guten Bewertungen. Ich habe Mango-Huhn und Dahl-Suppe bestellt. Das Essen war okay, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Es gab kein Naan-Brot, sondern einfaches, etwas trockenes Baguette, das, soweit ich weiß, nicht wirklich indisch ist. Das Hühnchen war sehr süß, die Suppe durchschnittlich. Es gibt viele bessere indische Restaurants in Bremen.

Die Bedinung war super nett und hat mir sogar frisch einen veganen Lassi mit Kokosmilch gemacht da ich Soya nicht vertrage. Das Ambiente ist nicht so gemütlich, man merkt dass der Fokus auf Lieferservice steht. Nun muss ich leider sagen dass mein Essen (109) richtig schlecht geschmeckt hat. Die Soße hatte einen Geschmack von Curry Gewürz Ketschup da man außer süß-sauer nichts geschmeckt hat (so viel Zucker o.O). Dies spricht wohl für die schlechte fade Qualität des Gemüses. Der Reis war auch unterdurschnittlich da bis jetzt jedes asiatische Restaurant in Bremen besseren hatte. Da werde ich wahrscheinlich nie wieder essen.
