Very friendly service, very tasty and with very good meat and the other dishes also look very tasty and the Turkish tea at the end is the best you can offer in a kebab shop, so the kebab is highly recommended

It was fine, the pide was ok , tasted a bit stale and too much onion (beef and mozzarella pide) that was quite overpowering. Didn't try something else. The service was fine also, they have a minimum to spend before being able to pay by card and the seating room was too hot and moths flying around which was very unpleasant, and the room was a bit smelly (women bathroom is there), so better sit outside.

Bad... just bad. A good kebab if you're from Wuppertal. A real disappointment for a Berliner.

The pide is goooooood & the service is very fast. Dürum - an absolute disappointment. After a long night, there's only iceberg lettuce, tomato, and a watered-down yogurt sauce in a sloppy bread. You're such a friendly place - PLEASE! Step up.

Very good kebab. Nothing to complain about. And the soups are amazing, even the ayran is amazing. Here you know where the meat comes from. Keep it up!!!

I'm a big fan of the doner kebab with sesame sauce. It has the most distinctive flavor in town, as the veal is coated in lamb fat; it tastes like lamb! I personally like lamb, so it's my kind of place. If you don't like that flavor, you're in the wrong place. The restaurant itself is quite dated, which adds to its charm, but it can also be a bit off-putting. They offer free tea, and you can refill it as often as you like! The staff are a bit grumpy, but you get what you order.

A very good beef kebab; you can taste the quality of the food in every aspect. The homemade ayran was also excellent, and I really enjoyed it. The prices were very reasonable.

The schedule has no connection! It says it's open from 9 but it's 9:40 and it's closed! I tried to get some food for a man on the street!

I think it's a perfect place, lahmacun, lentils and also the guy who makes tea, bravo to him, I've never had such good tea, he's such a gentleman, may God turn whoever he touches into gold.

I visited this grill on Karl-Marx-Straße many years ago and was always very satisfied. The food was delicious, the portions were fair, and the staff was friendly and attentive. You got the feeling that the employees enjoyed working there and that guests were welcome. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has changed recently. It's clear that the working atmosphere is no longer as welcoming as it used to be. Some of the employees seem stressed or dissatisfied, and this is sometimes reflected in the service. I find that a shame, because the friendliness and respectful treatment were a key reason for me to come here regularly. The food is still good, and the prices are still reasonable. Nevertheless, I wish the owners would place more emphasis on teamwork again—both with guests and employees. A friendly smile, a respectful word, and a good working atmosphere go a long way toward making everyone feel comfortable. I hope the grill can return to its former glory soon, because the potential is definitely there.

We were bitterly disappointed with the kebab... and the 3-part dish. The meat tasted slightly rancid... Perhaps too much lamb fat... hardly any sauce, and a bit of spillage from the broken bread. The only thing that was decent was the bread. We don't understand the hype.

The lahmachun was very large and delicious. The seating was rustic, but still nice. The layered meat was overcooked. It took away too much of the flavor from the rest.

Far too overpriced. Better go to the other Imren, where you can get a kebab and soup for less, the same quality, and more. For example, salad and bread are €4 for soup, but here you only get bread and a lemon. A friend told me about this place. We come here regularly because we can sit inside and the staff is super friendly. I also have to say that the food we get here is by far the most delicious. It not only looks fresh, but it is fresh, too. Crisp salad and deliciously seasoned meat. I definitely recommend stopping by. Thank you very much.

This is a polarizing spot for sure. The döner has one truly amazing quality, but the rest is lackluster. The meat tastes great—it's not like the typical minced beef version and has a completely different spice mix. If I had to guess, it’s mainly cumin and a bit of cinnamon, which complement the meat fabulously. The bread is fairly classic, but the salad part really falls short. I understand not wanting to take the spotlight away from the meat, but it's missing some balance in freshness and acidity. Offering red cabbage as an option would help a lot here.

Unfortunately, it wasn't good at all and not my cup of tea at all. It was relatively quick, the staff were all super nice, hence the two stars. But the doner kebab was a complete disappointment. First of all: Why cinnamon in the doner meat? I understand it for shawarma, but cinnamon has absolutely no place in a doner kebab. The sweetness is overpowering and disgusting and absolutely not what I want to taste in a doner kebab. The meat was also too dry and stringy. Poorly sliced and had no roasted flavors. It tasted like boiled meat. The sauce, also very untypical for Berlin, was smeared right into the middle of the doner kebab instead of on the bread. The bread was also completely run-of-the-mill flatbread. So, a lot of completely incomprehensible decisions were made here. Maybe some people like it, but for me, this has nothing to do with doner kebab. Unfortunately, I ate the thing anyway because I feel it's too bad to throw food away. I only wish I hadn't. The disgusting aftertaste lingered in my throat for a long time. The place has a great location, but it was a flop for me. The separate dining room also had a rather strange cafeteria vibe that wasn't particularly clean. Anyway, I won't be coming back. Nevertheless, all the best and continued success.

I bought takeaway food today (July 12, 2025). The employee seemed friendly. He asked me if I wanted rice with my meal for €3. I said yes, but please for €2 instead of €3, considering the quantity. When I got home, there wasn't even rice for €1, but rather for 50 cents. Years ago, this store was very fair for the money they charged. Unfortunately, they are no longer. For this reason, I cannot recommend this store!

Real meat I have never had stomach pain or diarrhea no matter when I eat

The doner kebab was excellent: tender veal, crisp salad, and fresh bread. Only the sauce, although there was plenty of it, lacked flavor.

With a clear conscience I can say that it is the best kebab I have ever eaten. The meat is great, perfectly prepared. I suggest drinking Arian with the kebab. I ate a kebab in a bun, a normal portion, and I was very full. As for the table space, it is a bit poor because it is a place to eat and leave, so there are few places to sit. You can take away, but there are definitely better portions on site. In addition, I do not recommend coming on Friday at the time when the Muslim mass (I do not know what it is called correctly) ends, because then everyone from the temple goes to eat. But it is really worth eating.

A very sweet topping from an older gentleman who didn't even listen to what was supposed to go on it, then asked for more information, and still got the wrong topping. It wasn't well-topping at all, despite being a big kebab. The portions on the neighboring tables also looked small. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't right.

A special kebab but a very good kebab!

It was by far the best döner I have ever eaten in Germany. In fact, not to exaggerate, but as someone coming from the east, it was good enough to compete with the meat from our region.

Unfortunately, a very bad eating experience. The chicken broth soup was perfect. The guys put potatoes, zucchinis and carrots in everything they could find. The portion was too big and the taste was very weak. The real disaster was the döner. I ordered döner on rice with great enthusiasm but it was a big disappointment. The döner was very sour and the rice was also bad. It is a place that has not been very clear. It is a very thoughtful and thoughtful move to serve tea with a samovar but I think the tea is at the level of tap water. I took two sips and left it. The service guys are very friendly, you feel at home but the taste is bad.

Outstanding kebabs, lahmacun and pide! There are certainly many good kebabs in Berlin, but these are kebabs of outstanding quality and incomparable taste. You can also always find fresh lahmacun from the oven, also of the highest quality...and pide... If you want to eat well, no, very well, this is the right place for you!

My regular restaurant for over 10 years. Very tasty food: cheese pide, lentil soup and kebab. Nice service, always ready to have fun. They are open late and often save you from starvation.

The worst doner kebab I've ever eaten in my life. We were fooled because it was real meat, but its seasoning has nothing to do with being döner. Lentils are okay, buttermilk is okay.

Imren Neukölln Town Hall. The stews are too salty. Both the haslama and the bean stew with beef - even the rice - are considerably too salty. They don't seem to realize the health damage they are causing guests with too much salt. Conclusion: The stews are inedible and harmful to health. This is already the second shop in which an extremely large amount of salt is poured in. Some guests agreed with me, but I think most people don't even notice it anymore and are already used to it.

I can only recommend this place, its so tasty, fresh, feels like eating at home, real food

Absolutely awful. I know Imren from Spreewaldplatz but this place at Karl-Marx Straße here was one of the worst I ever been to in Berlin. First, there are wasps inside the shop - in November! (yes, really) - which indicates, that the nest must be inside the shop because wasps don't fly outside in November. Then above the front window is a pigeon nest and small feathers and other dust from the pigeons get inside the shop through the slightly open windows. The men working there don't seem to care about the pigeon dirt nor the wasps. Honestly that place needs to get visited from authorities because they have a serious hygiene problem.

I eat a lot of meat. The Döner is good, and could work in a pinch, but get the soups. That's the star of this venue. The lentil comes with bits of meat and is flavorful to a fault. It comes with focacia basket that is noteworthy in its own right.

Too bad They used to be good. But after I'd been standing in line for 10 minutes and it was actually almost my turn, a woman came, pushed her way forward, I said twice more that I was already standing here, the gentleman who was serving noticed, but instead of saying something, he said something to her served and just left me there. Even when I left without food, he didn't even say anything like sorry or anything else. Then I prefer to go to shops that are fair. It's a shame because it actually tastes good, but it makes you lose your appetite.

I really can't recommend this disgusting!!!! I had kebab and the meat was gray and dry, not even the sauce could save it... My friend had hair in her kebab.. I really can't believe it 😓 Pure disappointment... Except for the baklava, everything was just mangy. So anyone who goes there really has roof damage. Wish I could have my money back. But Dönermann was correct. No recommendation 💔💔 I think I'm going to puke

The place where you can taste Berlin doner. It's a bit sad that there is no doner other than meat doner.

Doner kebab is very average, meat with special seasoning, you have to like it, there will definitely be fans, it's not us. Otherwise it is rather poorly documented. It was good that we still got something at 3 a.m. on Saturday, but it was one of the last pieces of meat that day. After that, relatively quickly nothing was available anymore.

Doner kebab was okay, not enough content for the price, hardly any salad, but good meat. Unfortunately, I was treated absolutely disrespectfully. I stood in line with several customers being served in front of me. Then it was my turn and, despite several employees behind the counter, I was not served. I wait and wait. Suddenly a man enters the shop and calls out “a kebab please”. He was served immediately. I WAS STILL IGNORED EVEN THOUGH I WAS STANDING AT THE COUNTER???? I was about to leave out of anger without eating when I was finally asked what I wanted. The way I was treated here was underground. Respect is a foreign word in this store. Nobody can smile here either. An all around lousy experience.

The meat (beef with lamb fat) is seasoned deliciously. I had a Dürüm kebab and can absolutely recommend it. Unfortunately no card payment. Ambiance is good.

Have only been here once so far. Around 3 a.m. There was kebab (7€) The meat itself is quite good (Eat only with a little sauce) Unfortunately the kebab was poorly filled :( (The contents disappeared when you squeezed the kebab lightly; it weighed an estimated 200 grams in real terms) Although the skewer was still quite thick... Which shouldn't necessarily play a role. I have been in Berlin my whole life (23 years). But unfortunately you can notice the decline even in the kebab. You can do this for 7 whole euros Not even being able to get a properly filled kebab anymore is really sad and the reason why, for me personally, the kebab shops are losing value R.I.P to the kebab (unless you pay 10) :(
