Bistro Grillhaus in Berlin

I have never been to Turkey but after being welcome into Bistro Grillhaus by the chef, I will go! The doner platter was delicious and very generous portions. A visit to Turkey can only be great with Turkish tea with your meal.

Berlin locals. Worst Dönerbox and Döner in a long time + completely overpriced (Mini-Bad-Dönerbox 9 Euro)…Tourist trap in a area full of hotels. We have just been too slow to realize what u get here for the price you pay…

It says online that they're open until five. We were there at 3:22 a.m. and weren't served today. Disappointing.

Just no. I've been going there occasionally for months to get kebabs, but for the past few weeks, the kebabs have been inedible. The meat is extremely fatty, marbled, and the sauce tasteless. I'm now looking for a new place... Disgusting and expensive. This is the first time I haven't finished a kebab and thrown it away.

Fantastic service there. Great conversation as my German is not great, and their English was decent enough. The döner was one of the best I had while in Deutschland, and the serving was plentiful. Definitely recommend if you are nearby!

The doner kebab doesn't taste good at all! The meat is dry, too sweet, the salad is stale...

We happened upon this place by chance, feeling quite hungry. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. We ate a haloumi durum and a vegetarian kebab. There are a few benches outside the shop.

Me and my 2 friends literally had the BEST kebab of our lives. Really puts in perspective the difference between a regular kebab and an OG döner. Staff is really nice and MANY choices for everyone (ie: vegetarian) would totally recommend ;)

I'm from Spain, and even though it's a bit more expensive, the quantity and quality make up for it. The durum we ordered is enormous (we recommend ordering it plain), and although there's hardly any sauce, it's very, very good and well-filled with meat. The service is very good and fast, although they don't speak much English; it's not necessary; they have photos of all the dishes.

Very, very good! We found this place by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Excellent kebab and above all excellent value for money! There is room to sit, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly! Super recommended!

They do take cards, fyi. I found this place because it was by our hotel and we came here 3x. Yes, it was that good. The bread was fresh, meat, and veggies. Good blend of sauces too. I know there are a lot of places to get Döner but I do like when they have a high turnover rate because the ingredients are fresh. Very quick service too, which helped because we were in a hurry to be on time for a show.

I've eaten many good kebabs in Poland, but this one here was poetry. I'd love to come back here. I highly recommend it.

Big portions, huge menu, big flavor! The guys that run this are so friendly. The restaurant is spotless, and you can pay with a card! If I lived in Berlin these guys would have my entire paycheque :)

Well, I'm used to much better. The meat was totally fatty and the sauce also tasted “weird”. In the end, my work colleague and I were upset because something wasn't right. Addition: When I walked past it the next day, I saw that it had exactly the same ingredients from the previous time. The iceberg lettuce turned brown and gross, the red cabbage lost its color and I have a feeling the sauces aren't being cooled either.

We came to Bistro Grillhaus as it was close to our accommodation and we had seen and smelt the food walking past the day before. We had a döner kebab each which was super tasty. Best döner kebab I have had in a long time. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. I also bought some baklava to take away after our meal, which was also super tasty. Would easily come back here again when in Berlin and recommend for tasty reasonable priced food with good friendly service.

The best kebab in town. The sauces taste particularly good. The service is really good. You can also sit outside in the summer evenings.

Avant notre visite au musée nous nous sommes retrouvés dans ce quartier avec une faim de loup, un peu pris au dépourvus et après une petit tour nous nous somme laissés tenter par cette adresse.. Le personnel et le lieu étaient très acceuillant, mon Döner était plutôt pas mal (il ne m’as pas faut sauter au plafond mais plutôt respectable) CEPENDANT celui au poulet de ma compagne avait un goût extrêmement douteux, peut être les épices ??( je ne pense pas) ayant une grande peur des indigestions elle n’as MEME PAS fini son doner, dommage..

Very bad food. No texture or taste. We ordered durum and Turkish pizza but they were dry and not tastefull One good thing was baklava.

Although, as the advertisement says, it is Turkish food (and I love kebab and a baklava melts me), in Berlin I am more interested in sausages with potatoes and a beer... Excellent!!! On the sidewalk, I don't know if it's because of the time, a super quiet place. Recommendable!!

It was lucky for me that it was near my hotel. It's a nice environment I went to during my stay in Berlin. Ordering tea after the meal was a special gesture. He also gave us a lot of help and advice regarding the trip.

The price is out of proportion to the taste. €7.50 for a falafel in bread and €2.50 for an ayran. But the quality and taste are in the lower midfield.

I couldn’t recommend more this place. I had a trip to Berlin of 5 days and I went there almost for every meal I had during my trip. Everyone who works there is very friendly. The owner is a very welcoming guy. Prices are very affordable and the food is amazing.

After a long time I went here for a kebab again. First of all, the staff was very friendly. For the kebab: crispy flatbread, vegetables were also crunchy. For me personally, however, the meat was a bit too dry and the sauces chosen (garlic and herbs) were definitely too yoghurt-heavy. I just don't like that bitter note in a sauce. At €7.50, something above the Berlin average.

I find the Turkish pizza there much more delicious than the kebab, it's really spicy. If you eat on site, everything is delivered straight to your place without much delay. There was also chai on the house. Always my pleasure

After a visit to Berlin's bars and pubs, we were longing for this miracle of Turkish culinary art. We were also prepared to spend nine euros on a kebab/ kebab box. Unfortunately, contrary to expectations, the taste explosion that was hoped for afterwards did not materialize. Unfortunately, the sauce and the meat were below average and the portion size was also rather small. Maybe we just came to this place at the wrong time. The staff was very friendly and quick.

Doner kebabs are served there once a week. Always fast, always fresh, always delicious. Friendly staff! Edit: Unfortunately it has become expensive: Doner kebab 7.50 0.2 liter soft drink €2.85 (That's a joke)
