Wir waren vor Kurzem im Il Ristorante Da Cosimo und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Restaurant hat eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre, in der man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, und man hat gemerkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen und schön angerichtet. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns die Qualität der Zutaten und die abwechslungsreiche Auswahl auf der Karte. Auch die Empfehlungen des Hauses waren eine gute Wahl. Trotz gut besuchtem Restaurant waren die Wartezeiten absolut im Rahmen. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit gutem Essen, nettem Service und einem entspannten Ambiente. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einer der Angestellten hat uns sogar den vergessenen Rucksack meines Mannes auf die Straße hinterhergetragen. Vielen Dank! Wir werden definitiv wieder herkommen.

Ich glaube ich habe selten so gutes Italienisches essen gehabt, aber bei Cosimo war von Anfang an alles super. Man kam rein, und wurde direkt freundlich empfangen (ohne Reservierung) und hat gleich einen super dekorierten Tisch bekommen :) Das Klima einfach super man merkt direkt das die Kellner auch Lust haben auf ihren Job, und es um das Wohl der Kunden geht. Die Auswahl der Karte ist mehr als ausreichend( würde sagen für jeden ist etwas dabei) Umgang mit Kunden und Kindern extrem gut Alles in einem einfach ein schöner Laden mit netten angestellten die wissen was sie machen :) Ich habe definitiv ein neues Lieblings Restaurant.

Nett gemeinte Verbesserungsvorschläge: Pasta mit Spargel und Garnelen waren so flüssig, dass mein Kleid voll mit Spritzern war. Die Soße war viel zu flüssig und schmecke nach nichts. (Beide Begleiter fanden das auch) Ich habe einen vollen Teller abräumen lassen und es kam nicht mal eine Reaktion, als ich sagte dass es mir überhaupt nicht geschmeckt hat. Bei den Preisen erwarte ich Qualität im Service, wenn das Essen nicht überzeugt. Normalerweise bietet man dann einen Espresso oder so an. Dann haben wir ewig mit der Dessertkarte gewartet, dass jemand mal kommt und die Bestellung aufnimmt. Aufgrund der 15 Minuten Wartezeit, haben wir nichts mehr bestellt, weil dann die Lust weg war. Schade für das Restaurant. Ansonsten waren die Dorade und der Lammrücken top!

Wir sind regelmäßig im Da Cosimo. Hier findet immer eine persönliche Begrüßung statt und fühlt man sich sofort willkommen. Das Essen ist lecker und auf der Tageskarte finden sich regelmäßig wechselnde Gerichte. Wenn es überhaupt etwas anzumerken gibt, ist es die Lautstärke wenn das Restaurant voll besetzt ist. Aber das ist ja auch irgendwie typisch italienisch. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

I've been to nicer restaurants. Apart from the Italian appetizer, the food was okay, but nothing special. I could have made a more varied and tasty Mediterranean appetizer myself using Aldi products. It wasn't worth the price.

The food has deteriorated significantly compared to before. The taste and quality are no longer as good, therefore the prices are no longer justified.

High-quality Italian cuisine with a wide selection of regional dishes as well as specialities from Apulia. The extensive menu, the beautiful ambiance, and the attentive service all contribute to a pleasant dining experience. I will gladly return.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I suspect many of the ingredients are imported from Cosimo's homeland. The service is always friendly and exudes a welcoming, family atmosphere. It was truly delicious! However, it was also very crowded and loud. Which meant that service took a little longer, but the staff were super friendly. So, that's just complaining at a high level. Reserving a table on weekends is a definite must!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Kiel. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can sit inside or outside. A large selection of Italian dishes (not just pizza). It's best to park at Blücherplatz.

I've been there several times now and overall, I find it to be a very nice restaurant, with the terrace in particular providing an Italian atmosphere. The menu is varied – everything from pizza and pasta to fish dishes. I still love the Pizza Vincenzo. Not to mention the helpful and welcoming staff, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. Whether dining with family or with friends, I highly recommend it.

Family-run restaurant. Delicious food, typically Italian. It's best when Cosimo himself is in the kitchen. Prices are reasonable for what's on offer. Lovely terrace. Reservations are definitely a good idea! The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I've never been denied a single request. It's a pleasure to return here and I'll be back again and again. We went to Da Cosimo with our soccer team – and it was simply fantastic! Super delicious food, generous portions, and everything freshly prepared. We were particularly impressed with the pizza and fish. The service was incredibly friendly (we especially noticed the waiter, Fabrizio) and kept everything in check even with such a large group. Great atmosphere, fair prices – we'll definitely be back!

Nice restaurant with good service. However, for that price, I would have liked a fifth or sixth of the mini shrimp on the plate. As it was, it was a bit sparse. The sauce was a bit too thin for me personally, and the linguine in particular was too short (broken?) and thus difficult to eat because you couldn't wrap it. My meal tasted good. Therefore, only 3 stars for my meal, and 5 each for service and ambiance.

I have been a regular at the COSIMO restaurant since it began and have been able to spend many wonderful hours here. Bella Italy! Warmth and culinary skills give the restaurant an atmosphere that I can only rate “magna cum laude”. Nobody who has never (!) eaten at COSIMO should claim to have eaten in Kiel.

Just take your time to enjoy. You are a guest from the start.

Wir waren mit 2 Personen während unseres Kiel Urlaubes hier essen. Das Personal war super freundlich Mein Rumpsteak auf Rucola sehr lecker und auch die Mezzalune sehr gut. Es war sehr gut besucht und dementsprechend auch etwas lauter. Unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Grappa und Amaretto aufs Haus. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Update: After repeated visits, we are still very enthusiastic about the food, the team and everything about it. We'd love to come back! We ate here for the first time on Wednesday evening. The restaurant was very busy, everything was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly. I had the veal roulades and can only recommend them. But our other dishes were also very tasty. We'll definitely be back!

It was just beautiful! In the best sense! We just wanted to “have a real Italian meal” - except that it was “really real” and it was “sorprendente e authentico”! - only that it was a bit atmospheric and it was “appasionato”! - just that it would make you want more and it was “irresistibile”! Really good wines (Langhe Arneis!) tasteful furnishings with stimulating colors and selected, first-class framed pictures and stylish lighting. An evening that enriches memories - thank you! It was "Zucchero per l'anima" We'll be back.

I have rarely eaten something so delicious! The salad is crisp and fresh with a wonderful dressing. And the pizza was also delicious, everything was just right. Cosimo is also cozy and the service is very nice. My new favorite restaurant!

Authentic Italian restaurant on Feldstrasse. You can also sit outside (if it's warm ;) ). Service is very attentive and cheerful. Pizza was very tasty. Wishes are gladly fulfilled. Furnishings are chic and stylish. It gets busy from around 7 p.m., so you should make a reservation. Toilet rooms are fine. The boss is always present and flitting back and forth :). It was a pleasant evening there. Happy to eat pizza again at any time.

Well managed, best Italian food, great selection with flexibility in the side dishes. Danger ! only opens at 5 p.m. Reservation the day before is recommended. Closed on Mondays. Any time.

Good Italian restaurant. The pizza was very tasty and reasonably priced. The service is friendly, but it feels overwhelmed and there are not enough service staff on site. The food came quickly, but it took several minutes until we were finally seated at our table. There was already a queue of waiting guests. When we wanted to pay I had to ask for the bill three times. It would be desirable if you were asked about other requests, e.g. dessert or drinks, without being asked, and not only be able to order them when called. The restaurant is popular and busy, which unfortunately makes it difficult to have a conversation due to the loud noise. All in all a nice restaurant with good food and the service could be improved.

Great! Food tastes great and the team is super nice. We had a great Christmas party and the boss joked with us funny. His willingness to help our group with wheelchair users is particularly noteworthy. Keep it up!

Friends invited me here for dinner. We had reserved, were warmly welcomed and seated. Service was there immediately. Card not so long, chosen for that (I personally think it's great). There were also daily recommendations. Wine, food (we had pizza, meat, pasta, dessert) were very tasty and beautifully presented. I got a different pasta dish than I ordered, namely very similar, but despite the offer to swap it, I kept it and enjoyed it very much. The service was attentive and friendly all evening. Price performance is right here. Clear recommendation

A great restaurant, everything was great!!! My friend and I were very satisfied, the pizzas are great! We love coming here to eat, it's simply our favorite place.

Already a good Italian in Kiel. We were with 10 people. there and everyone was very happy with their food. Four of us had pasta with truffle oil, fresh garlic, scampi, arugula and parmesan. A meal where we couldn't stop eating, simply outstanding in taste and for under 20 €. The chairs were cruel and without padding (please don't stay for too long).. still highly recommended Bella Italia Important: I only accidentally posted two stars. Pizza Magherita: hat absolut nichts mit dem Original zu tun - harter Boden, kein fluffiger Rand, TomatenSauce mit Oregano, dick mit fettigem Käse (Gouda?), bedeckt. Kein Mozzarella oder Fior di Latte, kein Basilikum, kein Olivenöl! Die 12,50 ! kann man sich sparen.

The cooking at Da Cosimo is really excellent; yesterday we had fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms, which was a real treat. Won't be my last visit.

We were in Kiel for four days, stopped here on the first evening and had pizza, it was excellent, crispy dough and nice and airy and very large. We liked it so much that we came here again on the last evening, this time we had lasagne and pasta with lamb and porcini mushrooms, both excellent again! The service was exceptionally good on both days. Super friendly, fast and incredibly on the ball! So a clear recommendation! The next time we are in Kiel, we will definitely come back here!

I had a portion of tiramisù and an espresso and they were excellent. As an Italian I can say without a doubt that they are a point of reference.

I searched for a long time until 2 older ladies were able to recommend the best Italian restaurant in Kiel. Tried almost all pizzas and they were super tasty! The staff is always in a good mood (even if you arrive late). The beer garden and the restaurant are also well designed and very suitable for the ambience.

Great food The gentleman on staff only speaks the most necessary things. Taking the order takes longer than serving it. We had to ask twice to pay and even then after 15 minutes there was still no one there. Going directly and paying there finally worked. Still no apology from said waiter. Made the stay worse.
