Pane Vino Restaurant in Kiel

I visited Pane Vino for the first time with my friend Behar Nurce, and I was absolutely thrilled! The meat was perfectly prepared – juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The side dishes and the presentation on the platter were also a real highlight. I would especially like to highlight the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable – you immediately feel welcome. This combination of excellent food and a warm atmosphere makes the visit a true experience. I will definitely return and highly recommend the restaurant. If you appreciate good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and first-class service, this is the place for you!

Two points because your previous owner's selection was quite nice, and the breakfast was pleasant. The rest is a deduction because he yells at the customers who were there then and might be there in the future if they line up in the "wrong direction" at the post office. It was our first time there with two small children. We were greeted politely and shown straight to our table. We had a very friendly waiter who even gave the children coloring books and was very friendly. The food was delicious and the prices were very good. The only thing that could be changed is the cleaning products, as they really smelled of chlorine. Otherwise, a great place.

We made an online reservation and were given a lovely table by the window. The service was very friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. The ambiance with the open windows was lovely, the food was excellent, and even our requests (the wine wasn't what I expected) were met with a smile and a great alternative. We felt very comfortable and welcome there. The value for money is excellent. We'll be back, next time for breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful time with you!

We were thrilled! Homemade pasta – highly recommended! Delicious pizza, light yet crispy base, tasty toppings! Good rosé wine, not too sweet! And the best for last: tiramisu! The service was extremely attentive, polite, friendly, and accommodating. We'd love to come back!

The main courses were not well seasoned, and the pasta was overcooked. The aperitif arrived, after a considerable wait (it wasn't busy), two minutes before the starter (which was good). Ordering more drinks also took a long time, only after being spoken to. The waitresses were very friendly, but they seemed to have already gone off-duty.

Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time for our aperitif. Shortly after we received it, we received our food, but unfortunately, the bottle of wine we had ordered was missing. When we asked the waiter about it, he asked us if we still wanted the wine, which we declined. He explained that the bottle had unfortunately already been opened. At that moment, another waiter came with the bottle, which we took anyway—somehow out of necessity. The wine tasted very good. By then, we had already eaten half, or almost all, of the meal. The food was also very delicious, especially the daily fish dish that my partner ordered. I ordered a pinsa with melon, arugula, and burrata. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of Parma cheese on the pinsa, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. I ordered this designated vegetarian pinsa because I am a vegetarian. When I pointed this out to the very friendly waiter, they had to first check the menu again and then agreed with me. ``` The gentleman apologized, but unfortunately, nothing more. Neither a small alternative offer nor a small apology in the form of a small drink, a meal, or a small discount were offered. Unfortunately, there was no tip due to the delayed aperitif, the significantly delayed wine, and the meat-based food, even though it was labeled vegetarian. Overall, despite the good food, the visit was disappointing, and we won't be eating there again.

No. A slice of apple pie with cream costs €8.90, a small slice of cheesecake costs €10.50. That's extortionate! The prices weren't announced beforehand, nor were they listed on the menu. The waitress listed the options. I invited my girlfriend for coffee, so they don't ask about the price beforehand. The other prices on the menu were as usual.

Everything was simply PERFECT. We thank you for the wonderful evening and the unique experience.

We were there for breakfast; we had made an online reservation. The menu offered several breakfast options. We chose a German and a Mediterranean breakfast. A hot drink is included in the price for each. The wait of just under 20 minutes was perfectly acceptable. Our expectations for the presentation were somewhat different when the breakfast was served. The German breakfast was divided into all the components as described on the menu, but the Mediterranean came on one slice of bread... We hadn't expected that, but it tasted very good, all on delicious bread - a great idea, but perhaps it could be explained... We really liked the decor of the restaurant, but I think when the place is full, it might be a bit noisy. The staff was attentive but not intrusive - we also like that a lot. Unfortunately, we only give the food four stars, as the German breakfast didn't offer any surprises; it was good, but nothing special either. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely return for dinner sometime.

We ate there for the first time last night with a larger group. The atmosphere was generally pleasant, but the large number of guests and the music playing made it much too loud. The pizzas tasted okay – the price-performance ratio was good. What was disappointing, however, was that the fillets and sea bream were served with extremely crispy fries that you couldn't even pick up with a fork – more like finger food, which seems inappropriate in this setting. My portion of fries also only arrived after asking twice, about 10 minutes late. Empty plates and glasses remained on the table for a long time without being cleared away by the staff. In a restaurant with this ambiance and high standards, we would have expected considerably more attention. After a long wait, we had to reorder our own drinks – without anyone actively asking. Overall, we had hoped for more and were unfortunately disappointed.

Everything is just right here, the service staff is so friendly and accommodating. I spontaneously arrived with a friend quite late in the evening, and we knew that this wasn't ideal for the kitchen; we were still warmly welcomed and served. The food was very, very delicious, and a big compliment to the tartar! I'm from France myself, and it's not easy to find a good tartar where all the ingredients are perfectly balanced. Thank you so much for that! Very nice interior, upscale yet cozy. I recently moved to Kiel, and this will definitely be a new favorite restaurant.

The pasta was intensely flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The appetizer itself impressed us – simply wonderful! The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. For us, Pane Vino is one of the best restaurants in Kiel and the surrounding area. A clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant, which is a huge negative, but they're allowed in the garden, which is a positive! We had very different meals: one was not good, one was okay, and two pizzas were very good. Unfortunately, the bread we ate was hard as a rock, the Aperol was watery, and it was garnished with an orange that was a bit past its best. I expect a bit more for this price range. It's a shame, but the waiter didn't bother us, so we were able to sit comfortably for a long time. A plus point, even if they could have made more money from us.

We arrived here during a layover without prior reservation. Despite the hotel being fully booked, we were offered the beer garden, which was actually closed. We were truly spoiled there: friendly and considerate service, very good food, and all-around fantastic hospitality. We can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant and would like to once again thank the fantastic team for their outstanding service.

A very friendly welcome, with plenty of space for privacy. Seven of us were dining together and wanted to be surprised by the food. We requested a starter, main course, and dessert, and we set an approximate starting time! We were asked whether we wanted meat or fish, vegetarians, or allergies. We were all absolutely thrilled with the taste, selection, and presentation of what was conjured up! Very friendly, attentive staff! A truly lovely evening at a fantastic Italian restaurant!

Nice restaurant, friendly service, good food (Italian breakfast, see photo). Points deducted because 1. it was veeery loud, you could only have a very loud conversation with each other, and 2. the coffee was served in tiny cups. When we asked if we could have a double, we were told no. In our opinion, they could have simply pressed the button twice and charged double the price, but they were apparently inflexible. Furthermore, we had to wait a very long time for our breakfast, which was, however, very tasty.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant. Very good, attentive, and friendly service. A good selection of coffee and tea specialties. Peppermint tea made with fresh mint, mint and ginger, and then with fresh ginger. Several breakfast options that I don't think you'll find anywhere else in Kiel. We had the "standard" German breakfast with rolls, sausage, cheese, and jam, and the Mediterranean breakfast, which is based on toasted bread, followed by an omelet and more (my companion ate it). The jam for the German breakfast came in a small glass bowl—no unnecessary plastic waste 👍🏻 Even during the week, the restaurant was busy, so I recommend making a reservation. You might be lucky enough to find parking right outside. It's a good idea to allow some time to find a parking space. There is also a parking garage nearby.

The ambiance is nice, but an Italian restaurant that doesn't serve Lambrusco is odd. The tiramisu didn't taste like Amaretto, and grappa was served in Ramazotti glasses.

We were here with a large group at the end of a bachelorette party. The food was very tasty and had filling portions. There were small gifts for the bride-to-be during the meal. Our service staff was generally very attentive and handed out the nightcap without alcohol without us having to say anything about it. The atmosphere is chic but still cozy. I really liked it there.

A wonderful restaurant to unwind on the otherwise busy Holtenauer Straße. The atmosphere is super inviting and the service is very courteous and friendly. Special recommendation: the beer garden. In the comfortable backyard you can enjoy the sun and escape from everyday life. Clear recommendation!

We visited the restaurant for dinner with prior reservation on Saturday evening and absolutely loved it. The ambience is beautiful, the food tastes really excellent and the service was also great. The nice lady 'Nana' in particular was super friendly and just made you smile - my son still talks about her and can't wait to be your guest again. We can give a 100% recommendation.

Nice service - BUT: Forgot bread in advance and 30€ for an asparagus dish, which consisted of four asparagus and two slices of Parma ham with a small mini salad... This is absolutely not in proportion to the price and you won't be full anyway.

Great praise also for the kitchen, the dishes were of very high quality, the ambience, and getting away from everyday life really picked us up. Absolutely recommended. We went to Pane Vino for dinner on Saturday. As a starter we had Formaggi Italiani for 2 people. This cheese board was very clear. For the main course we had Risotto con Salsiccia e Funghi. Hier sind Silberfüchse sehr willkommen, Hunde leider nicht. Wir mussten also weiter ziehen (was in der Gegend nicht schwer ist, da es in nächster Nähe gute Restaurants gibt, die Hunde erlauben). Aber vom Publikum her hätten wir auch ohne Hund nicht so gut rein gepasst.

We went to Pane Vino on a Saturday and it was good that we made reservations well in advance. We had Vitello Tonnato, wild salmon, seafood pasta. Everything was excellent. Just like the service. The ambience is appealing. It's a little noisy and the parking situation is difficult due to the location. We will come back and definitely recommend it.

The decoration and lighting create an elegant and charming atmosphere, complemented by the music. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations. We had to wait much longer than usual for our food, and unfortunately, the dishes were a bit too salty, and the drinks too sour for my taste. The steak, ordered medium-rare, was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing given the price of €40. On a positive note, the seafood paella I had was fresh and flavorful, and my companion enjoyed it. However, overall, the lunch didn’t impress us, especially compared to their breakfast offerings.

What was positive was the service. Unfortunately, the pasta was disappointing because it wasn't very tasty, the sauce was greasy with no taste and the beef fillet was very dry. You cannot eat food on the sofas at the table because they are too deep. The wine glasses do not have a calibration mark and only came with the main course when asked. Three slices of white bread only came when we asked. Parmesan costs extra! - Embarrassing at just under 30 euros for a plate of pasta. Overall, unfortunately not very nice.

Wir waren heute zum Brunch da und es war sehr sehr lecker. Wir hatten das englische und mediterrane Frühstück und es schmeckte sehr gut. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir haben ein Tag vorher einen Tisch online reserviert. Das war auch definitiv notwendig. Ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
