The pizza was very well made, with a nice crust, the food was served quickly, and the service was good. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

The pizza there is always a dream! Whether ordered, picked up, or eaten in, we're always satisfied. The service there could be a bit better or more motivated. Unfortunately, the restrooms have been quite dirty the last few times. But otherwise, everything is great. We're always happy to come back.

Generally, the restaurant's acoustics are really unpleasant when it's busy – open space, tightly packed, it gets very (!) loud. During our visit on Friday evening, it was very busy, but unfortunately, we only saw two waiters upstairs (and only one could take orders?). This resulted in very long waits and also incorrect orders (wrong pizza, espresso missing, etc.). The food was average at best, some pizzas were very tough. The pasta was quite bland. Some desserts were out of stock – even though it was very early in the evening. It's a shame, as we had enjoyed the good reviews here and the interesting menu. There won't be a repeat. The restaurant can't be blamed for the parking and traffic situation, but you should plan ahead or take public transport. Update: Three (!) complaints have been filed against this review for alleged defamation – three times unsuccessful. If I hadn't always taken action, this review wouldn't exist. Strange...

I just came back from Piedmont, Asti, Italy, and ate pizza there. I have to say the pizza here is better than in Italy! The drinks are also delicious!

Good for ordering and picking up

I was there for the first time recently. Unfortunately, it was a very busy evening, and the machine used to take orders broke down at short notice. So, we had to wait a bit longer, but the service was still super friendly. The pizza was a bit too dry for my taste, but with a free Baileys, the evening was still very, very nice ☺️

We were there today with a large group, and everything was fine. Unfortunately, one pizza had to be remade, which took a while, but otherwise we were very satisfied. The music was a little too loud for my taste, but it was perfectly fine. I highly recommend the spaghetti pesto verde and the tiramisu ☺️

Rustic and lively; a bit loud, you have to like it... Prices a bit too high; a bottle of wine is just as expensive as a glass of wine. Definitely need to change that!

A pizzeria with great pizza and a reasonable atmosphere. The pizzas have a thin crust, creative and well-seasoned toppings, and a large diameter. Salads and pasta are also available. The service actively ignores you, seems untrained, and doesn't make you feel welcome (even if you're friendly yourself). If you have time and a relaxed attitude, you can enjoy a very good pizza.

We ate there today with several people. It was busy, but the food still came quickly and the service was good. And then a dessert with a candle was brought because the server noticed it was my partner's birthday. Absolutely sweet, and everything was delicious.

We came here after the football game against the Hurricanes and had a very good meal. The service was very friendly and quick. If we play in Kiel again next year, we already know where we'll be eating.

The pizzas were delicious, everyone was very happy. The service was so-so; we weren't asked if everything was okay, and the beer was only half full, but this was corrected after a note. It wasn't crowded and not very busy. The atmosphere was nice, but the large room made it very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.

The vegetarian pizzas could be seasoned a bit more, but otherwise, it's highly recommended. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, but it was still very friendly. We chose Farina based on the reviews and were not disappointed. From the bread and dip to start, to the bruschetta, to the pizza, everything was delicious. I've rarely eaten such good pizza. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. If you love pizza, this is the place for you.

The pizza at Farina di Nonna is amazing! The restaurant is nicely decorated inside, but it's quite noisy. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for our food, but it was absolutely worth it.

Best pizza in a long time. Super crispy and super fluffy. And topped with excellent ingredients. The kids' portion of Bolognese was also excellent.

There's really nothing to complain about at this restaurant. The food is incredibly delicious and the value for money is excellent! The staff is super friendly, and the setting is perfect for relaxing and enjoying your meal. We'll be back!

We waited a long time for our drinks, but the food arrived very quickly. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients.

It took quite a while until we could even order our drinks. However, the food arrived much faster after ordering.

The BBQ chicken was okay, a bit soggy in the middle, a bit tough around the edges. Service was nice, even though it was busy because of the Sting concert. My partner had a Hawaiian pizza, which unfortunately tasted of nothing.

All in all a good thing, great ambience, friendly staff and delicious food, what more could you want

We stopped by for pizza and pasta on Whitsun Sunday! The waitress in our area was great 👍 The drinks arrived quickly, as did the food, even though the place was almost full. The pizzas were all said to be very good. I had pasta Arabiatta. Let me just say: next time, I'll get a pizza. All in all, we had a great time and are looking forward to our next visit.

It's simply a great place. I went there with my boyfriend on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary (we also had our first date there, which was also a solid 6/5). This time, well... If the plates don't fit on the table, it would be nice if you could move tables if there were still free tables, which remained free until almost closing time. So we had to take turns eating. It was fun, but I don't need to have it again. The spritzer was pretty thin this time, too. Both portions of bruschetta were amazing, and my boyfriend's pizza was good too. Mine, however, was so oily that I only managed a quarter. Overall, totally okay, but it was better last time.

The sink concept itself is good, but the taps end too close to the edge of the wash basin and the splash water doesn't end up in it. There were also cobwebs in the corner of the toilet cubicle, which is behind the doorway. The paper towels were empty. Please install screens on urinals! Very nice service! Food great!

We cannot understand the negative reviews and are happy to have formed our own opinion. We were served very attentively and friendly by a young waitress, the food came quickly and was very tasty. We particularly like the selection, there are great vegetarian and vegan options. I agree with the others that it is quite loud in the store, but it didn't bother us so much.

The four of us showed up 45 minutes before the reserved time. That wasn't a problem and we were free to choose our table. Service, food and drinks were top. We'd love to come back.

The pizzeria is okay. Good taste. But unfortunately the service wasn't attentive at all. Empty drinks are not cleared away and no questions are asked as to whether another drink is desired. Knowledge of German was also manageable. At least when speaking. When listening, it was apparently enough as the right drinks and food were served. It was significantly better, although the pizza is still good.

Google asks if I can recommend this restaurant...the food was great, the drinks were great too, the knives were very dull, but the most noticeable thing was the smell, which was strongly reminiscent of burnt cheese and literally "eated" into the respiratory tract and the kelifuge. I'll come back to pick it up, but probably not to visit the local.

The pizza dough is crispy and fluffy at the same time and comes with a choice of olive oil, chili oil and balsamic vinegar. The tomato sauce was a bit bland for my taste and could have tasted more intensely like tomato. Otherwise there is a great selection of pizzas and also a few of our own creations (e.g. Pizza Frieda).

As a Berliner, I'm used to a lot of "nagging" - but the service here shocked even me as a Berliner. The staff was rude and verbally attacked us - once and never again. I'd rather go and eat a kebab in Berlin for €5.

On Wednesday, I entered the Farina di Nonna restaurant with our company group – lured by the glowing online reviews and the promise of heavenly pizzas. Upon entering, I felt as if I were walking into an exclusive film set – except that the star of the evening was clearly patience. While we were still sitting here, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the pizzas, after a seemingly endless 45-minute wait, five of us were already enjoying our long-awaited pizzas – while the poor sixth colleague served as a walking waiter in the background. When we approached the first stressed-out waiter, the only response was a dry, "Coming right away!" – a consolation that later turned out to be a pure illusion, because after another 15 minutes, we were informed that the pizza was burnt. If only we could have been informed of the current status – a little update would have been almost like a free dose of humor! But the icing on the cake was yet to come: When we asked how the pizza had gotten burnt, the waiter, in an angry outburst, accused us of simply sharing the pizza. Such outrageous and ironically amusing logic that it almost chokes on laughter. When we countered that such a suggestion was anything but customer-friendly, he asked – quite casually – whether we thought he was stupid. Yes, dear Farina di Nonna, we already thought your service was an exclusive adventure of culinary patience – but we really didn't expect such a level of self-conceit! In short: Our moment at Farina di Nonna was a bizarre spectacle, where the expensive price of the pizzas was almost overshadowed by the even higher price of waiting time, lack of communication, and outrageous service. An experience that left you laughing – even if you also cried with disappointment. A culinary nightmare that taught us: Sometimes it's better not to be blinded by glowing reviews and instead use humor as a lifeline.

Far too expensive for the offer

We were at Farina di Nonna with seven people on a Sunday afternoon. The first impression was that there was a cozy atmosphere despite the size. We sat down at the assigned table and chose our food. The prices are okay for the quality of the pizza. BUT the waiter was a disaster, unfriendly, stroppy and just incredibly disrespectful. I really thought I was in the wrong movie and looked for the “get it” camera. It started with the request to clean the table, that was already too much. When my pizza came and I was asked “Fungi” I enthusiastically said (really hungry and full of joy) “yes, my pizza please” I was snapped at what the exaggerated tone was supposed to mean. These are two examples, there are other things that go beyond the scope here. Then dear team, you don't keep the cleaning agent for the tables within easy reach of small children, poisoning can happen so quickly. I really don't know what was wrong with the waiter, but if I had done that when I was a restaurant owner I would have been out of the job.

We were there two weeks ago and were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for the starter. Unfortunately, after another hour, the main course was still not at the table. Other guests who arrived after us were a little more lucky and had already finished their main course. Since we were already slightly annoyed and weren't really hungry anymore, we decided to cancel the pizza / take it with us in case it was already in the oven. In response to this request, the service person informed us that the pizza was in the oven. From this point on we had to wait another half hour. After almost three hours in total, we had a starter and were able to leave the store with the pizza in the box. Very unfortunate. Unfortunately, we don't have a good impression and we won't be coming back.

The pizza and homemade lemonades are delicious. It's a relatively large and therefore noisy place.

Order there regularly and the pick-up prices are super fair for the very tasty pizzas. If you're there at the pickup time suggested by the restaurant and then have to wait over 20 minutes with the message "it'll take a little while," then next time we'll think twice before ordering there.

The quality of the pizza was between good and very good. The waiting time of over an hour has a huge negative impact and taking the smell of the pizzeria in your hair and clothes home with you is simply not possible. Overall verdict: 4 out of 10.

The evening in this restaurant was a complete disaster: Instead of informing at the entrance that it might take a little longer because several employees were absent, they decided differently here. We had to wait over an hour for the starter. This tasted very dry and was mostly noticeably burnt black. Unfortunately the starter was so inedible that we couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, the same applied to the main course. The pizzas were partly raw, partly burnt, the pasta was clearly overcooked and cold and the lasagne had a very disgusting, chewy consistency. In addition, the staff only admitted when asked that a pizza had run out of ingredients and another spicy ingredient had been used instead. In this restaurant, not only is the customer's time wasted with inedible food, but they are also not honest with the guests. A disgrace and absolutely not recommended.

This time it was a total failure. We waited 75 minutes for the food!!! For two pizzas! That doesn't work at all. It was only after an hour that the waiter decided to bring some bread to the table - when I asked. No announcement like "it may take a little longer" - and that's the worst part: just sit and wait. 6 p.m. isn't even the busiest time. The pizza itself was so-so, the dough was very tough, which even overwhelmed the sharp knives, and the topping was extremely thin. The prices for food and drinks were exorbitantly high, easily at Sylt level - but here, in the former Coca Cola bottling plant, unreasonable.

Pizza was OK. Not really special but not bad either. Service was overwhelmed, seemed distracted and sometimes rude. The ambience was nice at first glance, but it was very loud due to the proximity to the next tables and the amount of people. Waiting time for everything is enormous. The waitress forgot about us for what felt like 15 minutes when we wanted to pay. Ordering drinks also took a long time and it was virtually impossible to reorder them. The pizza arrived after what felt like 3 hours, but was probably closer to 45 minutes. Didn't look at the clock. I wouldn't want to go there again, it was just too bad. Mainly because of the lack of attention from the service staff, the waiting times and then ultimately left there for a normal pizza like you would expect from an Italian restaurant + a drink for €25. Rather uncool.

This store is Losteria on steroids. The prices are high but the pizzas are simply amazing. I've only had better pizza in Italy. You're happy to pay €2-3 more
