Great cozy hotel in the heart of the center in Rüdesheim. Breakfast room very well decorated, very friendly staff including the boss.

Perfect from check in to check out. Friendly employees make you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, easily accessible and has some parking spaces right next to the hotel. In general, we liked the clean and well-kept ambience of the house. Despite the central location, our room was quiet and there was no noise from inside or outside. For a nightcap, there is a refrigerator with various drinks next to the cozy fireplace lounge. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, tasty and offers everything you could wish for. Conclusion: Perfect, we'll be back.

The Hotel Trapp is our favorite accommodation when we are traveling in the Rheingau for business or tourism. It is quietly located in the middle of Rüdesheim and is a great starting point for many activities: the cable car to the Niederwalddenkmal, the ferry to Bingen and the boat docks are nearby and there is also a very nice wine tasting stand. The owners are always courteous and helpful even if there are problems. There's never been anything to complain about.

It could be a little more for breakfast. Unfortunately, when I reordered filter coffee I got Cafe Creme, otherwise everything was great.

Great hotel, very close to the town centre and only a short walk to the river

The room was clean, but very noisy and extremely warm, the night was unfortunately very restless due to people returning home drunk and at 7 a.m. there was a long, loud ringing of the bell.......unfortunately not a restful sleep. The breakfast and the good and friendly service, however, helped a little over the bad night...

We were on vacation in Rüdesheim for a few days in September 2024. A beautiful area. The hotel is very centrally located. Shops and restaurants very close by. We were in very good hands at the Hotel Trapp. Friendliness and service were excellent.

Hotel Trapp is located next to the church of the beautiful and touristy Rüdesheim, so right in the center, close to all pubs, shops and restaurants and not far from the Rhine. The main road and railway are a bit further away and the road next to the hotel is for local traffic only. The stay in this hotel is therefore very quiet. There is always something to do in Rüdesheim itself. Walking, cycling along the Rhine, boat trips, beautiful landscapes, music and very tasty wines and food. The interior of the hotel is unique and offers a lot of atmosphere. Everything is neatly maintained. The owners of the hotel are often present in the hotel and, together with their staff, provide very good service. They also make time to have a chat with their customers and are clearly interested in their opinions and well-being. The breakfast is extensive. It is possible to park your car in the hotel car park. And for sun worshipers there is a new and beautiful sun terrace. In short: a hotel and place that many customers would like to return to. J. Winkelmans-Smets

Was very nice, with a roof terrace. This should no longer be entered after 7 p.m., which would have been nice because our room was in that direction and unfortunately we couldn't open the window in the evening because of the cigarette smoke and the noise. Rooms were very warm

The hotel is centrally located. A few minutes walk to Drosselgasse town hall square. The gondola lift of the Niederwalddenkmal is just a few hundred meters away.

Spent 2 very pleasant nights here. Made to feel very welcome. Room was nice size and lovely high pressure shower. All needed when stepping off the Rheinsteig. Breakfast was very good. Location beside a beautiful church and close to many bars and sights. Would certainly recommend.

It was a nice short trip with great weather. The hotel is very centrally located but very quiet. We had friends who warned us in advance to take a hotel down by the railway line. Bingo. Everything is perfect at the hotel. The service is also A1. The rooms are clean and quiet. We thought we were alone in the hotel. Breakfast continued, a feast for the eyes that opens up to you. It's just a shame that only 5 stars are available for the rating. Congratulations, the hotel definitely hasn't welcomed us for the last time. We booked a Juniorsweet and were not disappointed. We received a very friendly welcome from the owner and immediately felt at home. The hotel is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. We were very pleasantly surprised by the selection at breakfast; there is something for everyone. The hotel is very centrally but still quietly located and the pedestrian zone of Rüdesheim is easily accessible on foot. I stayed alone in this hotel for 1 week, I was impressed by the friendliness of the owners and the staff. The room was functional and clean. I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet, varied and very good. I really enjoyed this week and will definitely come back. Thank you!

We stayed at the hotel again in July 2024. All we can say is extremely friendly and helpful Praise staff. The room was also great. The operators of the hotel also make every possible effort to make our stay as best as possible.

Receptionist/owner insulted us for no reason because we said there were a lot of ducks standing around here. He's never heard that before. It completely ruined our mood, even though we didn't mean it in a disrespectful way at all. The next day we as a family were treated disrespectfully at breakfast and it was made clear to us that we were not welcome as guests. We decided to leave the hotel after one night. We wanted to pay for that night and dinner, but the extremely unfriendly hostess decided to call the police, who of course can't do anything in such a case. We were insulted as cheaters, which the next hotel we booked afterwards certainly cannot confirm. Rüdesheim is worth a trip but certainly not in this house decorated with ducks.

Very stylish authentic old school! The only thing we were missing in the room was air conditioning. We are thinking about coming back to Rüdesheim soon, and then the hotel will become our hostel.

We stayed at the Hotel Trapp for two nights. We had a standard double room and everything you needed was there. Very important: "It was very clean" and we were also able to use the terrace on the first floor and drink coffee there. The hotel is close to the market square, the Drosselgasse, the train to the Niederwald monument and the Rhine can be reached quickly on foot. We were able to park the car in the hotel parking lot. It wasn't needed. The service was also very, very good, you could actually give it another two or three stars. Everyone was very friendly, even an extra request was fulfilled. The breakfast buffet was very varied, it was always refilled straight away if something was missing. If we come to Rüdesheim again, we will definitely stay there again.

We received a very friendly welcome at the hotel and we felt comfortable right from the start. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The location of the hotel in the city center is ideal, as it is only a short walk to everywhere. It is a pity that the hotel's restaurant is not available to hotel guests.

We just returned from a 3 week journey through Germany, and this was our last stay for 3 nights…seems we saved the best for last! Beautiful hotel, excellent staff and wonderfully managed. There is nothing I can say negatively about this hotel. The reviews are not enough….it is a must stay to appreciate. Rüdesheim as whole is such a beautiful place!! Five-day overnight stay in Junior Suite deluxe. What a great room, a nice seat to relax. A beautiful bathroom and a good bed. Coffee and tea facilities and a mini bar in the room. Parking lot next to the hotel. An extensive breakfast with all the trimmings. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were very satisfied. Too bad the restaurant and bar are closed, but we knew that in advance.

This is a fantastic hotel, situated close to the centre with great traditional restaurants and bars. Located close to the river for boat trips, cable car rides. They have a fascination with ducks. If the weather is hot ask receptionist for a fan for your room. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff cannot do enough to please.

Price performance in a good ratio, is a tourism stronghold. Breakfast and room reasonable for the price. Staff friendly. Bicycle in lockable garage. So if I come by again with my bike, I'll book it again.

We were there during the Magic Bike Week 2023 and 2024, we can only report positive things. We have already visited several hotels in Rüdesheim during the Magic Bike Week during this time, none have been as good as this one. We are very satisfied and will come back next year. Super friendly, clean, all in all highly recommended.

We had a great stay in the newly renovated and attractive family room. From the telephone reservation to arrival on site and departure, the contact was very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was absolutely adequate. Particularly noteworthy is the great location, practically right next to the Rüdesheim market square. The famous Drosselgasse can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes. We'd love to come back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Trapp! Super convenient location, walking distance to all Rudesheim attractions. Breakfast is included and offered a delicious variety of continental breakfast items and German specialties. We stayed for two nights and our room was kept clean and the view outside our room was priceless. FYI if your room faces the church as ours did, the bells begin ringing at 6am. No air conditioning, but the windows open very wide. Highly recommend you give this family room hotel a try!

The room was spacious and very clean. The view of the Rhine was a nice surprise. The breakfast offers everything you need and we were completely satisfied. Perfectly located as a starting point and practically right next to the market square in Rüdesheim, just a few minutes' walk to the center and Drosselgasse. We really enjoyed our, unfortunately too short, stay and would definitely choose this hotel again for further trips to Rüdesheim. Thanks also to the consistently friendly and attentive staff!

The hotel is in a very quiet location, but still very central. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Fridge with drinks is available 24 hours. Hotel own parking lot. The hotel also has a terrace (open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.). But we had our own terrace - at no extra charge! Cellar for bicycles available. If you arrive with an electric car and want to charge it, you should reserve a parking space.
