We were only here for the meal, so we can't comment on the hotel itself. The food was great, the service was perfect and very friendly. We will definitely come back.

We are completely satisfied with our stay and the accommodations for our wedding guests at the hotel! A special contingent was even reserved for us, which made our planning much easier. Her warm personality and solution-oriented approach helped us immensely throughout the entire wedding preparations. The entire team was also incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I think it's disgusting to provide Wi-Fi from the (feeling) 80s in a place where there's barely any reception.

Schnitzel is frozen, and far too expensive. Service is also far too slow.

Beautiful location, directly on the lake

We celebrated our wedding in the fireplace room at the beginning of September and were very happy. The location right on the lake is, of course, unbeatable. We were lucky with the weather and were able to hold part of our celebration outside. The catering was also fantastic; our guests unanimously raved about the food. Service and advice were also top-notch. We felt fully informed and well-cared for by the entire team. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped. From the comfort room, we had a beautiful view of the lake. Just be aware that the venue is located in a nature reserve, so insects often come into the room through the window. However, this wasn't a big drawback for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience at Lake Langwieder. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for allowing us to spend three nights at your hotel. We found the rooms and bathrooms to be modernly furnished. The view of the lake was stunning. The staff was super friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at every dinner; the food was delicious and the portions were perfectly adequate. Breakfast also left nothing to be desired; from the homemade jam to scrambled eggs with bacon, as well as muesli and a latte, everything was plentiful. The highlight was the freshly fried bacon. I've rarely eaten such good bacon. 😋😋😋 A big compliment to the front desk staff; friendly and cheerful, that's what we experienced. In September 2025, I photographed a beautiful wedding with a non-denominational ceremony here. It was dreamy, right on the lake, with excellent service, numerous spaces, a cozy fireplace room, and delicious food. A definite recommendation for wedding couples.

Unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable, and the mattress was very soft. Otherwise, everything was top-notch! A very good restaurant with attentive and very friendly service! Unfortunately, you can hear the A8 motorway traffic, as it's so close to the A8.

Beautifully situated by the lake. Service OK. Food plentiful. After a bill of €124, we ordered an espresso, with a glass of tap water if requested. According to the manager, the waiters weren't allowed to serve tap water with it. A no-go for us; this is common practice halfway around the world, without being asked! It's incomprehensible. It's a shame; it was actually a lovely afternoon with a good feeling, but we take home that the guest's satisfaction ultimately falls short because of a glass of water (which costs the host nothing).

We were invited to a wedding reception today at the boathouse on Lake Langwieder. The venue was top-notch, the food was superb, and the decor was very loving. Above all, I'd like to give a huge compliment to the two extremely friendly, prompt service ladies who anticipated our every need. Unfortunately, you don't experience that very often these days. Update: This is my second time here and I have to say a few things. * TV feels the size of a postcard. * Rain shower doesn't work, only trickles cold water from the ceiling. I don't have a handheld shower. * Room service only every two days. For that price, I expect at least daily towel changes, a wastebasket emptying, and toilet paper refills. Cleaning isn't necessary. Yes, nice hotel, friendly staff.

By far the most TERRIBLE hotel stay I've ever experienced! I travel a lot for work and have therefore experienced many different hotels. However, I've never experienced anything like this before! On the first evening, we noticed cobwebs right next to the bed – immediately afterward, the next shock: a beetle in the bed. At first, I thought it might have somehow gotten in from outside – but when I got out of the shower (by the way: the shower faucet was partially broken, a roll of toilet paper was partially broken, which wasn't refilled during my stay, an empty box of tissues...) I immediately saw several of these strange insects. So I went upstairs to ask for a new room at the reception. But then, the next shock: The reception is unmanned in the evening and all night long! There was no contact person or anything like that, and after about 1.5 hours of desperately trying to reach ANYONE, I went back to the room and couldn't sleep a wink. The second night, however, it got even worse. Three drunk men tried to break into my room on the ground floor from outside, shining flashlights into my room, banging on the windows, screaming, and shaking the patio door so hard I was afraid it would burst off its hinges. There were two more drunks in the hallway outside the room – so there was NO way for me to escape this situation and leave the room, and I was frozen with fear. There's also a video of this. When this horror finally ended after several minutes, I went back to the front desk – again, there was no one there! All of this could have been avoided if someone had simply done their job properly and the reception had been staffed. There isn't even an emergency number you can call or anything like that. It was all extremely careless! That night, I couldn't sleep a wink – for fear that someone would try to break in again. That's pretty shitty when you're there on business and have to be tired for important appointments the following day. A hotel should actually be a place for relaxation, not a place to give you panic attacks! When I complained the next morning, a very unfriendly employee simply replied, "Oh, right. You should have called the police. Otherwise, one of us would have had to give out our private number and then be woken up in the middle of the night, and that's not okay!" and, "I should be glad - after all, worse things could have happened to me!" UNBELIEVABLE! By the way, there's no way to call for help either, as there's almost no reception there and the Wi-Fi keeps dropping out. Otherwise, there was a discussion with staff in front of guests about guests overheating, and there was talk of heat limiters that now need to be installed, and at the breakfast buffet, an employee constantly turned off the egg cooker what felt like 10 times every morning, even though breakfast was still being served. NEVER AGAIN. I'll be honest, if I couldn't give it a star, I would. Well, then the one star remains for the lake, because it was really beautiful - but the hotel can't do anything about that ;)

I was invited to a party there. The rooms and decor were very nice, and the beer garden was also very nice. The food was very good; the portions could have been larger for my taste, but they were tasty.

Our company celebration at the Hotel & Restaurant am Langwieder See was a real highlight! The ambiance right on the water was dreamy – perfect for relaxed conversations and a great atmosphere. The food? Phenomenal. Every course was a hit, with top-notch flavors and lovingly prepared. We were particularly impressed by the team on site: attentive, welcoming, and with a keen sense for individual requests. Even spontaneous special requests were handled with a smile. In short: If you're looking for a location that offers culinary delights and impresses with top-notch service – this is the place for you!

We celebrated our wedding here and really have to say thank you. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Our requests were easily accommodated, and we even got extra food that wasn't included in the menu. Simply fantastic. It's a bit more expensive, but worth every cent. The only thing our guests complained about were the attic rooms. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which was apparently unbearable during the day and not very comfortable for sleeping. That's why we're only giving it 4 stars; otherwise, it would have been 5. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, though.

We stayed overnight at the hotel on our wedding anniversary and had dinner in the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and created a lovely atmosphere. Everyone was also very kind to our little daughter. The hotel's location on the lake and the restaurant's terrace are beautiful. We would come back anytime.

The location, directly between the two lakes, is simply perfect. You can swim there whenever you want without having to pay an entrance fee. While you eat, you have a direct view of the lake, and you can even sit on the terrace right by the lake and enjoy the sunset while enjoying a delicious dinner. The food was incredibly delicious; I never had to wait long, and there was a very good selection of vegetarian dishes. My room was clean and nicely furnished, and the staff were extremely friendly. I really felt at home here. The only thing that didn't work so well in my room was the Wi-Fi, but that didn't bother me too much, as I didn't really need it. I was lucky that the bathing bus ran to the Lochhausen S-Bahn station most of the time during my stay. However, a car is recommended if you plan on going on excursions, as the walk to the S-Bahn is about 3 km.

We chose this hotel for our short break. Very friendly and customer-oriented service. You can hear the nearby highway if you have a lake-facing room with the windows open. The surrounding area is beautiful; you can start your bike ride directly into Munich's city center (approx. 18 km). It's a great tour via Blutenburg Castle, Nympfenburg Palace, and the English Garden. We would gladly return anytime.

Hotel location, food, and parking are excellent. The only criticism is the shower. The idea of a shower with little splash protection, forcing guests to shower quickly, is a bit over the top here. Replacing the door frame every year is probably more lucrative.

We celebrated in the boathouse, and some guests stayed overnight, as did we. In short: everyone was absolutely thrilled; the organization, the food, the location, the service, the execution—everything was perfect. Special thanks to Marion and Karl, who looked after us so well throughout the entire evening. From the preliminary meeting to breakfast the next morning, everything was handled very professionally and with a smile. A huge compliment and a huge thank you!

I was a guest at the hotel for a company seminar. Positive: Very friendly staff, delicious and plentiful food, good service. Neutral: The rooms are a bit dated; the bed was much too soft and creaked. Negative: Cleanliness is lacking in some places. The restaurant's restrooms, while old (not a problem for me at first), were seriously unkempt. The ventilation vents were all extremely dirty and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. In addition, there were many dead and living twitching spiders on the ceiling of my room and in the restrooms. Not so nice. A bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated.

As a wedding photographer, I was privileged to accompany a wedding reception at the boathouse. A fantastic location right on the lake. A very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service, helpful and friendly staff, and delicious food. The jetty and small private beach with its terrace are a perfect location for celebrating and taking pictures.

A nice restaurant in itself, but despite the many empty and unserved tables by the lake, you're not allowed to sit there for 30 minutes for a beer. Even though it's quiet. Service is okay. I completely understand that there aren't many seats. It was practically empty and unserved. We go to the lake almost every day in the summer. It was clear that we'd leave after 30 minutes. The tables would never have been full. The ladies inside allowed us to. But the gentleman outside turned us down. We know your beer garden.

The location is good. There's plenty of space and creative options. The service was good. The overnight stays and rooms were good. The weather was perfect. Thank you.

Great ambience in a top location. Very good service, friendly owner. Idyllic room with a lake view. Everything was good except for the small TV. Very good breakfast.

We stayed there for one night with a toddler and had the perfect room. Extra wide bed without gap, equipped with three pillows and blankets in a nice large room. The games room next to the restaurant area was a special highlight, especially because it was too dark and cold outside in December. We couldn't use the location by the lake in December, and we also rely on public transport and the hotel is a bit out of the way. Nevertheless, we are considering coming again in the summer.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant right on the lake. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, and the breakfast dishes were all fresh and delicious. The rooms we stayed in were also very well and functionally furnished, but they detract from the fact that none of them had air conditioning. Air conditioning is very important there in the hot summer. All in all, a great stay!

We celebrated our wedding in October in the restaurant at Langwieder See (fireplace room). Communication during the organization ran smoothly at all times and all of our questions and requests were addressed in a special planning meeting. At the wedding itself, we were thrilled by the attentive service staff, the delicious buffet and the overall smooth running of the celebration. Spontaneous wishes and inquiries were also addressed. We also had the opportunity to reserve rooms for our guests in the hotel six months before the wedding. That also worked without any problems, the rooms were clean and the breakfast the next morning was varied. Overall, we felt very comfortable and our guests were also thrilled.

The hotel is particularly suitable for conferences. There are some in my team who have allergies (nuts, gluten, etc.). The kitchen took great care to ensure that the food was prepared "safely" for us. I would recommend calling ahead so that the kitchen can arrange it. The service was great as always! We arranged a wedding party in summer and the staffs were considerate, well-organized and attentive. The terrace is beautiful, the food and drinks have full variety, and delicious. The rooms were also very clean and new. We were worried about the traffic to get there in the afternoon of a sunny Saturday in summer but it was not a big problem that day. It was such a precious time having a wedding there.

If possible, I would give it 4.5 stars. The hotel is located on the beautiful Langwieder Lake in close proximity to the A8 motorway. There are various parking spaces in front of the hotel for hotel guests and separately for restaurant guests. The staff is very friendly. Both in the hotel and in the restaurant. My room was clean, unfortunately a bit older and simpler. The bathroom was also a bit older and the shower wall was a bit wobbly. Hence half a star deduction. Positive thing to mention: nice room view of the lake. And cheap daily price. The mattress was medium hard. You can eat very well in the restaurant. The food comes quickly and is delicious. In my opinion the prices are a bit too high. For a skin dish with dessert, drinks and a tip, my dinner was €50. Also worth mentioning: Large beer garden, children's playroom, outdoor playground, bicycle service station, meeting room and fireplace room.

I spent 2 unforgettable days at Lake Langwieder. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are okay. The bathroom is a bit older, but it is clean and everything works. The breakfast buffet offers a very large selection and is very tasty. Of course, the best location is directly on Lake Langwieder. Room with a direct view of the lake. You can also enjoy this beautiful view at breakfast. The water of the lake is crystal clear and swimming is a must. The beer garden and the restaurant are also really nice and I can only recommend them. I would vacation there again at any time. It was incredibly beautiful.

Rarely have I experienced so much warmth and friendliness in a hotel. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent, although the evening meal was a bit pricey. The room was new and great, only air conditioning was missing to 5 stars :)

The renovation backlog in the rooms wouldn't be so bad if it were spotlessly clean. The floor in the bathroom was mopped so greasy that there was a risk of slipping. There were insect remains all over the walls and ceiling, and one wall looked damp. In addition, we had no refrigerator in the room, no air conditioning, which is a shame these days...I know other 3* hotels. Unfortunately, the outdoor area including the playground is also really unkempt, it seemed like the well-being of the little ones didn't matter, but that's exactly what is important to me as the mother of a 2-year-old. A positive thing to mention is the great location with direct access to the beautiful lake! Overall it was ok for one night, but I wouldn't have stayed longer.

Been there for a wedding. Lovely venue, food and staff. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

We were invited to a birthday party in July. It was well over 30 degrees. Ambience great, you can't say anything about it. But I find it impossible to set up a cake buffet outside without cooling. The cake pieces “flowed” from the cake stands. This is not only a shame for the cakes, but also a health risk. Pieces of tarte flambée sizzled away on the bar tables. Sour cream is very yellowish and the bacon is slightly gray. Either you find a solution to cool it or you don't offer it. The hall is also completely exposed to the heat without any protection. Sun blinds on the windows? Since the windows remained open in the evening, we couldn't enjoy the lovely meal. Because of the heat and because we were also eaten by mosquitoes. Fly screens on the windows? Why don't people react to the announced heat in such an "event hotel"? At least a few fans would have provided some relief. If the heating had failed in extreme cold, people would certainly have reacted. Why don't you do this when the heat is announced? I would have expected more from a hotel like this. I also feel sorry for your employees who are exposed to this heat without any protection. We are in the 21st century, there are solutions.

Cool location, very friendly staff

Went to the premises for a training session. Nice location. If you look out the window, you can see the lake and the terrace belonging to the hotel restaurant. However, as soon as you open the window, you can hear the highway passing nearby. Another drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which would be even more necessary given the background noise with the windows open. Food and service were ok, but rather average. For training, lunch is presented as a buffet. A la carte would be nicer, especially since there is apparently enough staff to be able to serve the guests satisfactorily. The whole house, except for the renovated dining area, looks outdated. The cleanliness, especially in the guest toilet in the basement, left a lot to be desired. In summary: The potential is there, but a little more needs to be invested.

We were unable to go on our planned trip and had to cancel our booked room at short notice. Unfortunately we were a day too late for the free cancellation, but the hotel generously accommodated us and canceled the two nights free of charge. 🙏🏼 Thank you very much for that. Great service!

We stayed in this lovely hotel for one night. The location right on the lake is simply great. The service at reception and in the restaurant was friendly and very attentive. The dinner was great. We had fish and a great onion roast and fine starters. We were able to enjoy our nightcap at the newly designed bar. The breakfast buffet was very rich and balanced. The rooms with a view of the lake were clean and well equipped. Plenty of parking spaces directly at the hotel! We would love to come back!

Went here for lunch and absolutely loved it. Firstly, there is something special about the location right on the lake and the very beautiful garden terrace. The very friendly staff is attentive and responds to your wishes. Food is excellent. Everything is hot and freshly prepared. The price is slightly higher, but it's worth it. Everything was clean, enough parking space in front of the door. What more could you want? There is also a beautiful self-service beer garden. We'll be back. Unfortunately I cannot rate the hotel.

Das Restaurant ist am Ufer eines Baggersees gelegen, der für den Autobahnbau ausgehoben wurde. Am gegenüber liegenden Ufer verläuft die viel befahrene Schnellstraße. Scheinbar hat man nicht verstanden, dass der Langwieder See am westlichen Stadtrand von München nicht der Comersee in der Schweiz ist. Beim Blick auf die in der Speisekarte aufgerufenen Preise fühlt man sich wie in der Schweiz, was von einem wenig inspirierten Servicemitarbeiter dann auf den Tisch gestellt wird, könnte aus einer Frittenbude stammen.

Service is ok and the ambience is good too. But I'm lying in bed at 12:30 at night with a small child with an average room noise of 60 db.

I sleep in this hotel, very friendly, the staff is attentive and kind. I find the negative comments about the restaurant unfair, they bent over backwards to help me with kindness and it was good. The bed is comfortable, the room very clean, it’s quiet. You just need to know that the restaurant kitchen closes at 9 p.m., and I don't have the impression that there are many other places to eat nearby. Thank you for your welcome!

Nettes Hotel direkt am See gelegen. Hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort mit gutem Essen. Zimmer i.O. und sauber. Frühstück gut und Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Adored this place. This was our last stop in a long road trip around Germany and it could not have been nicer! The staff was over the top friendly, the atmosphere and location are beautiful and the rooms were impeccably clean and very nicely arranged. Would highly recommend!!

Sehr gute Küche, Lage super. Preislich etwas gehoben. Leider war heute (13.10.) die hervorragende Fischsuppe nicht mehr auf der Speisekarte, schade. Ich freue mich schon wieder darauf.
