Schützen Festzelt in München

Service took a while. The lunch menu came in one delivery (soup, main course, coffee). You can choose what you want to eat while it's still warm. The rest gets cold. The server's explanation: "I have to order everything at once and pick it up." That's not my problem. We won't go back.

Unfortunately, you're directed to a restroom, but then never allowed back into the tent. Security doesn't take valuables, small children, women alone, or other concerns into consideration, even if you were outside the tent. Unfortunately, this also resulted in a sexual encounter with a helpless young woman. The wristband issue is a good one. However, entrances and exits should also be controlled, and people should be stamped, for example, before they're left alone and helpless without any valuables (since they're on the table). Whether the Oktoberfest is safe or not, security ends at the tents!

I'll keep it short. The food, apart from the chicken, was disgusting. The potato dumplings were rock hard, the veal was undercooked and rubbery, and the duck was just a skeleton. The gravy was disgusting. The music was completely overdriven and way too loud. And not to mention the singer's nonexistent voice. There was no atmosphere in the tent because everything was plastered over with the music and noise. There are a few tents that do everything much better. There's also Oktoberfest, but with edible food, a reasonable volume, and a good atmosphere. Schützen-Festhalle, never again.

The toilets were littered with feces and rats. The stench of urine was unbearable. The staff was extremely unfriendly. The food was awful. All in all, not recommended at all.

The food at the Schützen Festzelt has always been rather average, but I think it's deteriorated dramatically over the last two years. I don't know if it's due to the pandemic or the generally rising prices, but the food is really not good, and sometimes everything is lukewarm at best. But that doesn't really matter to this tent, because with all the wealthy Munich chic crowd, the Schützen is one of the most popular tents at the Wiesn and therefore always packed. Unfortunately, the beer doesn't compare to Augustiner or Hacker. But as I said, lovely people and always fun, but you can go somewhere else to eat before the songs.

The young gentlemen who call themselves waiters are more concerned with "looking good" and "kissing" than with providing service. After an hour, we still hadn't had any food, and then we were asked to pay in advance because other guests had apparently left before paying or before they'd even gotten their food (presumably also after an hour). If you then add "no wonder," the gentlemen become even more rude and cynical... Service is different, gentlemen. You still have a lot to learn, because supposedly just being chic isn't everything in service! There are much better tents with friendly, courteous, and fast service!

Unfortunately, the security is not good at all, I was sent out when I wanted to go to another table with my friends and walked past the main course while the reservation was being changed so as not to disturb the waiters. Then I couldn't go any further or back. Nobody understood and didn't want to hear anything from me. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this tent at all. Better go somewhere else.

Best chicken of the Oktoberfest, great fast service, we thought everything was great!

Tollen Platz auf der Galerie, mit Frischluftzufuhr, superfreundliche zuvorkommendes Servicepersonal (1+mit Sternchen) Essen und Getränke, prima. Ein wunderschöner Abend in der Schützenfesthalle👍

Mittelmäßiger Sound und Band, gibt bessere auf der Wiesn...

War heute mit Kollegen auf der Wiesn. An sich gutes Ambiente und sehr nettes, flottes Personal. Einen schönen Platz auf der Galerie und eine gute Stimmung. Aaaaber: Als meine Portion Käsespätzle gebracht wurde, dachte ich mir schon: "Das soll sie jetzt sein?" Meine Portion war: Ein maximal zum Drittel befüllter Teller. Da ich davon ausging, dass dies normal sei habe ich nichts gesagt. Spater, beim Durchgehen durchs Zelt fiel mir dann aber auf, dass dies absolut kein Standard ist und alle Tische mit Käsespätzle gefüllte Teller vor sich hatten. Danke, dass ihr auf meine Linie achten wolltet - nur hätte ich da gern selbst entschieden...!!! Für 21€ hätte ich zumindest erwartet satt zu werden.

Danke für den tollen Abend und die gute Stimmung. Und auch danke an das Security-Team von SLPN. Besonders an #F078, der uns durch seine Streit-schlichtende Art sofort aus der Bredouille geholfen hat. Danke! Und bis zum nächsten Jahr! Prost!

An die Bedienungsleitung. Vorsicht vor Bedienung Ali. Der Mann grapscht gerne mal vorbei oder vor ihm laufende Frauen an. Wir haben das mehrfach beobachtet. Natürlich sucht er sich betrunkene Gäste aus um den Schein zu wahren er würde nichts tun. Widerlicher Kerl, wir hoffen er wird dort nächstes Jahr nicht mehr auftauchen.

Super Atmosphäre, tolles Essen und der beste Kellner (aus Wien :))

Freitag-Mittag: Das kleinste Hendl aller Zeiten (siehe Bild, denn es hätten 3 im Teller Platz) und das Bier lack mit Schaum dass es frisch ausschaut. Das ganze für fast 30€ :o( Nur 2 Sterne wegen der sehr freundlichen und schnellen Bedienung im Außenbereich

Sehr schlechte Security und Bedienungen Wir besuchen das Schützenzelt seit Jahren. Dieses Jahr waren sowohl die Security als auch die Bedingungen auffallend schlecht. Obwohl wir reservierte und bezahlte Plätze hatten, wurden zwei unserer Gruppe auch bei vorzeigen des Einlassbands nicht mehr ins Zelt gelassen. Die Bedienungen waren leider auch sehr sehr unfreundlich. Als zwei unserer Gruppe noch einen Nachtisch bestellen wollten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man dich wegen zwei Essen losrennt um es zu holen. Also haben wir nichts mehr zu essen bestellt. Dafür bezahlt man nicht 50€ pro Person und 400€ für einen Tisch… Wirklich sehr schade, denn die Band, das Essen und die Stimmung im Zelt sind super.

Zelt ist ok, teuer und freche Bedienungen, aber Stimmung kommt auf. Was gar nicht geht, sind die Klo-Damen. Man kann ja nicht jedes Mal 2 Euro für einen WC Besuch in den Teller legen, während die Dame ausser Zahlkontrolle nichts macht. Das WC sah aus wie ....! Die Dame wurde sehr aggressiv wenn man ihren Teller nicht bediente und schrie die Leute an. Das war wirklich unangenehm.

The atmosphere was nice at the second half of our stay but boy was that chicken dry. If I buy a chicken from a street vendor it’s much better, please don’t call it juicy in the menu anymore.

Tolle und schnelle Bedienung, gutes Essen, sichere Atmosphäre.

Tolles Personal, die Kellner waren echt nett, aufmerksam und nett. Nicht so gestresst wie die letzten Jahre. Aber die Band abends ist so lala, mehr Party-Hits bitte und den Mann versteht man einfach nicht, die Frau ist gut.

Jachenau-Box bei Bianca und David sehr zu empfehlen. Wunderbare Bewirtung, gute Stimmung im Zelt! Gerne wieder.

🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙$$$ Ein absolutes muss Das Münchner Oktoberfest ist eine Institution. Das muss man mal gesehen haben. So viele unterschiedliche Menschen so viele unterschiedliche Fahrgeschäfte Zelte ,alles was man sich vorstellen kann , Man findet es dort. Ein wunderschönes Volksfest was auf der ganzen Welt beliebt und bekannt ist. Mindestens einmal im Leben sollte man dort gewesen sein.

Ein tolles Gastgeber Team und eine großartige Stimmung. Gerne wieder...

Brathendl schmeckt nach Suppenhuhn, war innen blutig. Bedienung nett, hat das Hendl umgetauscht, was am Geschmack nichts geändert hat.

Speisen geschmacksneutral, schnitzel für über 30€ nicht empfehlenswert. Ansonsten ruhiges Zelt, klassische blasmusik und schnelle Bedienungen. Nachtrag: den Wein gibt's auch aus Glühweinbechern 👌
