For me it was a business trip. One night stay. Dinner and breakfast. The staff is very friendly. The food was just perfect as was the breakfast. Rooms simple but perfectly clean. Price in the restaurant unbeatable, cheap. Just like the price for bed and breakfast. Simply brilliant. Gladly again! All the best and continued success. Best regards. We went to Baumberg Beach to eat goose with 7 people and it was very, very tasty. As always, the waiter was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back on Christmas Day.😊

We often go to Baumberg Beach. The view is sensational and the sunset is second to none. The staff are very friendly, courteous and attentive. Dogs are also welcome there. It would be nice if there was some variety in the daily menu. Furthermore, the seating in the winter garden is getting old and could use some cleaning. Otherwise, one can only praise the fact that the restaurant offers hot food every day. We are always happy to come back

Incredibly bold... Room booked and check in by 10 p.m. I stood in front of a locked door at 9:20 p.m. on a Sunday evening! Nobody was available by phone and not even booking.com could clarify anything. Called there the next day and was just put off! There was no real apology, no question was given as to whether I had stayed somewhere else or no compensation was offered despite having traveled 200km into the distance.

We were there for dinner with several people last Friday. Truly unworthy of a Greek: Tsatziki tasted like it came from a Metro bucket, the Taramas still had whole pieces of potatoes in it and if there was a drop of Greek olive oil in it, then my name is Otto. The main dishes: Gyros salad - oh dear, the salad wasn't dressed, only a few strips of the balsamic cream were visible (that's Italian...), tomatoes? Nope, there were only 2 kl. Cherry tomatoes. And the gyro? Well, that wasn't from a skewer but from a bag - so-called pan gyros; No olive oil and no "real" vinegar - pepper and salt didn't get it out. Overall: tasteless. 2 other people had beef liver with country potatoes (equally thick slices of fried potatoes). Unfortunately, the beef liver tasted sour for both of them - they didn't eat it. The salmon steak and the beef fillet were okay. For us, this shop has become a no-go - even if the view is nice. We go back to the Greek restaurant in Bergerhausen, where the boss himself is in the kitchen and you can watch him at work.

A beautifully designed restaurant with Greek cuisine. The food is ok. There are better Greek restaurants in terms of taste. The only problem is the service, at least when it's busy. I understand the wait if it's busy. However, not if you take over a table and have to wait about 20 minutes until some of the dishes are cleared away by the previous person. And at the same time it can take time, we are full. But 1 minute at the table opposite an order is taken and you are ignored. It was also not possible to place an order with my colleague. She tells her colleague. However, he didn't come around for the next 20 minutes. Others who came later had already ordered. When we waved over, the waiter became cheeky and finally said in an aggressive tone that we should go where it was better. I find that very unprofessional and not necessarily customer friendly. It was tasty at home.

After the conversion into a permanent winter garden (not quite finished yet), you can now enjoy the view of the Rhine in the warmth. The food was delicious, service was good and attentive. So highly recommended. Update We ate here again, this time we were very disappointed. The portions are all about 30% smaller than usual. Whether we will visit the restaurant again remains questionable.

We just got ice cream. The restaurant is always so busy that you can't spontaneously find a seat outside. The ice cream was very tasty, but also expensive. The lady at the sales desk was friendly.

We have never experienced having to wait 15-20 minutes to place our order even though the restaurant was not crowded. In the meantime, I asked the waiter, who was walking around listlessly, that his colleague was coming soon. After the visit to the women's toilet was similarly unpleasant (a toilet completely dirty), we decided to use our money more wisely and left. If you look at some of the other reviews, we probably didn't miss anything when it came to eating.

We were there with around 12 people for a birthday party and sat at a long table in the winter garden. The direct view of the Rhine and the beautiful sunset perfectly matched the good atmosphere. Friendly, attentive staff and delicious food rounded off the celebration. Gladly again!

Summary: -Not recommended for guests with disabilities!- Completely overcrowded and therefore extremely loud; -2.5 hour waiting time for the main course; Satisfaction of the guests seems to be completely secondary; Permanent understaffing in service and kitchen (statement of shift manager); Shift managers and service staff are otherwise completely overwhelmed and not self-reflective; Toilets are very unhygienic, a huge source of viruses; Accessibility is not guaranteed due to significant tripping hazards; Risk of accidents when patio doors are open and and and…. Only the quality of the food could have been convincing, but unfortunately this takes a back seat given the conditions described.

Unfortunately a total failure... My father, who is 89 years old, didn't get a senior plate. When he wanted to order the children's portion, he was refused with the statement...you couldn't make an exception. My dish was cold and the salad was already gone... as compensation I was given a sweet dessert, I don't eat anything sweet. As a good restaurateur you would have asked beforehand... No thanks !!!

It used to be better... Lame waiters, the apple strudel we ordered (there was no other cake) only came when the coffee was long cold. The only nice thing is the view, which you pay very dearly for.

Friendly and attentive service. The salad we ordered was brought with the wrong dressing, which was complained about. Then the salad came back, with mustard-honey dressing on top and vinaigrette underneath; I can only be kidding myself, especially since the desired dressing was expressly mentioned when ordering. The terraces were great but it was full and you couldn't finish your meal with dessert because the coffee machine had been broken for several days.

Whenever we hike in the area, we then go to the Rheinterrassen Baumberg Beach. The food was very tasty, the service was good and the price and performance were right. The view is amazing. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant twice so far. The ambience, food and view of the Rhine are simply great. The service is very friendly. Tomorrow we will go there again for our 50th anniversary. We're already looking forward to it today

The service on a Tuesday evening when it was almost 30 degrees was terrible. We were in the restaurant for over 3 hours and were asked twice for drinks. We didn't receive some drinks until the end. Just like a side salad after we asked 3 times. The waiter was just stressed and unfriendly. There was also not enough cutlery brought. By the time the cutlery was finally at the table, the first person had already finished eating. We skipped dessert because we just wanted to get away. While paying, a cellar suddenly says that there is so much to do and that some of them are sick. I understand but this should be communicated with the guests. If you still want to live up to your expectations (I don't pay less as a guest because the service is subpar) you should consider not occupying all the tables. Absolutely not recommended!

Beautiful covered terrace with panoramic views through the large windows from the closed area and without a roof from the open terrace area. Good standard Greek cuisine and in our case a friendly and attentive waiter. If the weather is great, it can be very full as there is no comparable offer in the surrounding area.

While the children have fun, the adults can enjoy the peace and the beautiful view. The Rheinterrassen Baumberg Beach is also very easy to reach, both by car and by S-Bahn. This makes it a perfect destination for families, couples or anyone who just wants to get away from it all. We stayed at this hotel for one night with our wedding guests. Communication was uncomplicated, staff was friendly, rooms are adequately furnished. Only in one room the hot water didn't work, but that wasn't relevant for one night. The breakfast was good and the view of the Rhine with your morning coffee was fantastic.

We stopped at this restaurant on our bike tour; It was a sunny day, the beer garden was well filled, the wait staff we were in wasn't in a particularly good mood... the wait staff didn't know the table numbers (even though they were stuck very large on every table), so we were constantly given the wrong food If you wanted something you had to wait a long time, which is understandable in a full beer garden and actually not a problem, but if the fries are cold before the salt or mayonnaise is there, I don't think that's a good thing.. .. The part of the restaurant, which was built slightly higher as a winter garden with completely openable windows, looked very nice, you can definitely sit here even in autumn. But if you want great things you have to be able to do great things - there is definitely room for improvement, but the food was good.

You get the keys from the restaurant, you always have to walk past the bar to get to the rooms, rooms weren't really clean, the fitted bed sheet had holes, the trash can in the bathroom was full. In the evening you could have a drink there by the water in the restaurant, there was a nice view.

Waren schon einige Male hier nach einer Fahrradtour eingekehrt. Bisher wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Vom Service bis zum Essen alles top. Werden sicherlich das ein oder andere Mal hier wieder vorbeischauen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr flott sehr sauber Essen sehr gut Preis Leistungs auch in Ordnung. Sehr saubere Toiletten. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Leider kein schönes Wetter um draussen zu sitzen. Aber wir kommen wieder 🤩😍
