Very cozy bar/restaurant. Staff super nice. Good food and good portions!!

Extra Sheet does what Extra Sheet is supposed to do. We only ate small things. But they were tasty. The Gulssch soup was delicious. It's all Convinionsware. It was definitely too loud in the restaurant. There are also no walls to absorb the noise. I prefer to sit outside, but that wasn't possible due to the weather. The staff was quick and nice. The second time I ate extra sausage and chicken schnitzel with fries. Was delicious.

Unfortunately the waiting times are far too long :( The staff tries very hard, but is probably far too understaffed. But the pizza rolls are worth the wait!

Rarely visited a restaurant like this. The interior is very, very nice and the staff are all very friendly. The management is also extremely accommodating and tries to satisfy their own needs as best as possible. The next time I'm back in Monheim am Rhein, I'll definitely go there again! Cocktails have so little alcohol that they can easily be served at a child's birthday party. ( Rage against the [Cocktail] machine )

There is only positive things to say about Cafe Extrablatt in Monheim. It is in the middle of the city, which is easily accessible. The food and service is also top, without long waiting times. I'm here almost every day and can really recommend it to everyone.

Great place, this waiter named Besart Ferataj served us very well and politely. His funny and charming manner sweetened the evening for all of us. We are looking forward to seeing the Besart again and being served by him.

A cozy café where you can have a bite to eat and nice service

Since we go out for a spontaneous meal or drink at Kaffe Extrablatt at least once a month, the service staff already know us. The waitress, Selina, knows exactly what me and my wife are drinking at the beginning. A large old and a large Krefelder and during the evening there is a Long Island Ice tea, she is particularly likeable. The service staff are all very attentive and friendly. The food tastes good, if you order a burger you get something on your plate and it's more than plentiful. Whether it's pizza, burgers, salads, wraps or tarte flambée, everything is tasty. That's why we're so often guests at Kaffe Extrablatt.

After 30 minutes of waiting, our order still hadn't been taken. Then we left again.

First of all, on the positive side: the location is quite okay. Not the food though. The fries were almost cold, the baked schnitzel was totally soggy and not really warm either. Half remained on the plate. When the complaint was made, they simply said "I actually brought both out straight away". Nothing else. There was no offer to reduce the price or anything in compensation. You just have to be able to deal with criticism and still try to make the guest happy. Apparently not here.

Unfortunately you can't give zero points for food and service. After we were ignored as guests for over half an hour, we would have liked to eat something but couldn't place an order, we went to another restaurant. Rarely have I seen such a poorly organized store.

We were there twice and both times my food was forgotten or the wrong one was brought. The others had already eaten theirs when mine still didn't come and I finally canceled it. An apology was made, but it still leaves a bad feeling. It's actually a shame, it's cozy and everyone is really nice. Update: Once again we were ignored and not served. Even if there is a lot going on, you can't sit there forever trying to make eye contact and still be ignored while others at the next tables are served as soon as they arrive. If you then point this out, you get a rude reaction. Never again!

You sit here and wait, regardless of whether you want to order something or pay later. Many people go elsewhere because it's rare to see service out here and there's an hour-long wait to eat. If someone comes and you signal that you want to pay, nothing happens for a long time. You should avoid the store if possible. No guest has to put up with such disrespect.

I wasn't recommended to anyone to eat there. First the order came wrong and ice cold. When I wanted to give it back the staff was in the mood 'why'??? 💆 Same order came back in 15 minutes burnt and dry. Ekstrablatt Monheim never again 🙂‍↔️

Burger and fries arrived cold. After commenting that it was cold, they didn't make a new one, they just put the burgers and fries in the oven and heated them up. After the comment the staff became very rude. They don't want to admit their mistake. Finally, no discount and no understanding. This place is NOT RECOMMENDED!

The food is good and the atmosphere is fine. The location is particularly pleasant on summer days. However, the service leaves something to be desired: orders are sometimes taken incorrectly, higher amounts are charged than stated on the menu, and waiting times to order or pay are unreasonably long. There are no apologies, instead excuses are sought - and all this even though the store is not always full. The staff should urgently be better trained. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right: the prices are significantly excessive.

Excellent! Ordered the breakfast buffet. Children up to 4 years old are free, from 4 years old they pay half price. Very fair! There is a small play area for the children. The breakfast selection is okay - the quality is very good!

The breakfast is very tasty. The selection is huge. However, I don't think it's okay to bring dogs into the restaurant. This is not appropriate where there is food. There are enough tables outside. I have an allergy to animal hair.

We had a lovely morning, but it was very busy and I think the staff were a bit overwhelmed, which was a shame. They were all very nice, but you had to wait if you just wanted to order a drink. And what also annoyed me was that we had reserved and came in and had to wait at the front until someone came to meet us. After 10 minutes we went looking for our table ourselves, although we made our presence known several times. Very unfortunate.

Maybe you needed the time to learn and improve. __---- I've tried it twice now and I was disappointed again. Everything takes too long, except the drinks that run. But what's not working is the food. It doesn't help if the waiter says, "You have to be patient on the weekend" our table neighbors had ordered waffles 30 minutes with the lukewarm cocoa 🫣 the fitness plate is not on the menu either, in Hilden there is the fitness plate and the waiter's statement "you would have to buy additional storage space for this. Always these explanations that I can't fully understand. Oh, 🙈 at the end, a young waiter didn't know the difference between old and mushroom 🤪. Well, that can happen, for that He was very friendly, everyone was friendly, but that's no use to me, the customer should be happy. The location of Café Extrablatt is good because the café is right in the city. The staff is friendly and tries to accommodate every request. We had to wait a bit to be served, but only because it was very busy that day. Our order was tasty and sufficient.

We know many "extra newspapers", including in Wuppertal, Velbert, Leverkusen, to name just a few, and we always like to come to Monheim as a priority (at number 1), like last sunny Sunday. We were able to enjoy our stay on the south/west facing terrace in the afternoon. The restaurant fits harmoniously into the overall building complex. The neighboring buildings are also designed in an architecturally appealing way and underline the beautiful ambience. There are no complaints about the service. The staff is attentive, friendly and quick. The tables are cleaned immediately and the menus sorted. You will not be “forgotten” as a guest. The offer is large. All dishes are prepared appetizingly and decoratively. Prices are appropriate for the effort. 5-star plus!

I think the service and the food are getting worse and worse. Waiting 20-30 minutes for service seems listless at times. Eating decreases greatly. You had to look for meat in the wraps and the nachos tasted like they looked, old.

Actually 0 stars There were more waiters than guests, but we weren't served. Even for the bill, we waited 20 minutes until I went to the checkout and paid No recommendation ! Bad service!

We always order food to pick up from the Monheimer Extrablatt. Always good, great service and very reliable. Every now and then we also eat on site. A similar picture here too: great service, nice atmosphere - everything was great! :-)

Breakfast and other food are delicious. American style... needs improvement: the children's corner is totally loveless and sad. A carpet, a screen and some junk thrown together. A pity!

Went for brunch with 9 people on Sunday. Disappointing. Relatively small buffet, which was grazed after a short time. In addition, only sparse replenishment was made. Waiting time for bread rolls can be 5 minutes. Gouda and smoked salmon were only added after almost 30 minutes. It was all very surprising, especially since it wasn't particularly well attended. Price/performance was never right. Not recommendable A few months ago we visited the Café Extrablatt in Leverkusen. There's a world of difference.

Actually, depending on where we are, we always go to one of the Extrablatt branches for breakfast. We had breakfast in this branch for the first time the day before yesterday (Thursday). The spatial conditions and the volume are similar to that of a waiting room. It takes forever for the service to take the order. The breakfast buffet is rather carelessly structured. The first thing I noticed was that some of the "clean" cutlery still had food residue on it. First I got 2 rolls with cheese/sausage cold cuts and a fried egg. The rolls were fresh and good. But the fried egg was ice cold! Next, off to the warming container for scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.! No scrambled eggs, no bacon. Just little meatballs! After 10 minutes there were scrambled eggs, but still no bacon. If asked, with a rather disinterested service person, the bacon would be in the works (it was around 10.30 in the morning 🙄). After 10 minutes there was still no bacon, after asking again the bacon had run out and new ones were being procured. My wife and I still finished eating, but we agreed that we didn't have the breakfast experience we expected from other branches of this chain! We paid around €35 ​​for breakfast for two people including drinks!

It's family-friendly and cozy, the service is very friendly. A place where I personally like to go.

Great meeting place for young and old

We were just there, were greeted nicely and then ignored for 20 minutes. The team found it more interesting to have private conversations. The restaurant wasn't even 1/10 full. Simply bad service. Not again for us, just a disappointment despite the 30 minute journey.

We ate burgers - they were good, nothing to criticize. Fries there are always great! We always enjoy going to Café Extrablatt. Nicely equipped restaurant, solid selection of food and drinks and a very child-friendly staff.

On this sunny spring day we went to Cafe Extrablatt in Monheim. The waffles🧇 that I ordered were very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer for our order, but we were served very friendly. You could sit outside and enjoy the sun...🌞So a pleasant atmosphere...🙂🌷

Were there on Sunday afternoon. Service was good. But the dirty, smeared table was only cleaned after request. Toilets were borderline clean..

Although the restaurant is quite large, it feels very cozy. The large window front means you have a great view of what's going on outside from every seat, be it the market on Saturday or the great water columns in the summer or the ice skating rink in the winter. The outdoor area is also more than inviting with cozy rattan seating areas, magnificent olive trees in large pots and a shady parasol. Inside it is beautifully furnished with spacious seating areas, wide aisles in between, great and varied pictures on the walls. Because you don't sit so close to each other, you don't necessarily hear the conversations at the neighboring tables. The staff is very accommodating, extremely friendly and attentive. They ask if there is anything else you would like and are there immediately when you want to pay. I have never experienced a bad-tempered service person there. The menu is varied, with something for every taste. Everything tastes extremely good. We really enjoy going there and always feel more than comfortable.

War schon mehrfach hier essen. Vom Essen her bisher alles top. Am Service muss unbedingt noch gearbeitet werden im Hinblick auf Bestellaufnahme, Getränkenachschub etc. Ansonsten ein nettes Lokal in der Nähe.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Extrablatt.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Service ist sehr gut. Immer freundlich das Personal hier. Das Essen ist schlecht. Alles Tiefkühlkost. Frittiert und nicht sehr schmackhaft. Der Cappuccino ist ein Witz. 3 Mal in den vergangenen Tagen den großen Cappuccino bestellt, und den Kaffee findet man vor lauter Schaum nicht. Da ist vielleicht ein Fünftel Kaffee drin und der Rest ist tatsächlich Schaum. Wie kann man so etwas als Cappuccino bezeichnen? Mich sehen die nie wieder.

Das Extrablatt Monheim ist mittlerweile ein wichtiger Bestandteil in meinem Leben. In meiner schwersten Zeit versagt das Servicepersonal nie meine Stimmung zu verbessern. Ich besuche den Laden täglich und bin absolut von der Einrichtung sowie dem Konzept begeistert.

Gehe sperr sehr gerne Burger essen,schmecken ausgezeichnet. Mag den Vibe,grade abends sehr gemütlich. Kann aber auch wenn’s voll ist sehr laut werden. Aber das ist halt so.

Wunderbarer Ort um einfach auszuschalten!!!!

Meine Frau und ich waren heute zum zweiten Mal in der Filiale Monheim zum Frühstück vor Ort. Die Auswahl am Buffet war gut und es wurde auch bei Bedarf immer zeitnah aufgefüllt bzw. nachgereicht. Extrawünsche (frisch gepresster O-Saft) werden erfüllt. Beim Service besteht aber weiterhin Luft nach oben.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal der Kaffee war gut nur mein Käsekuchen war mit etwas zu süß und mächtig. Ansonsten kann man aber empfehlen

Zentral gelegen und das Essen ist richtig gut und lecker. Nicht übermäßig teuer und macht satt.

Wir waren am Freitagabend mit 3 Personen hier. Die Burger waren Super, das Ambiente toll, Hintergrund Musik absolut klasse von der Lautstärke. Wir wurden von den wirklich sehr netten Servicekräften umsorgt und verwöhnt und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt. Der Abend war wirklich wunderbar und wir werden immer wieder kommen! Vielen Dank an das Team und bis bald einmal.

Update Dezember 2023 Heut' wieder da gewesen - richtig touchy, voll berührend: Mit 2 Leuten auf nen Bierchen trinken ...und plötzlich waren alle 2 vor der Tür zum Rauchen, der Andere kurz weg - und keine Bedienung hat sich in die Hose gemacht wegen der offenen Konsumkosten. Das nenn ich oldskool Classic. Auf jeden Fall sowieso Neujahrs-Buffet gebucht - hier bin ich gern, man nimmt mich wie ich halt bin Definitiv 10⭐ Sterne von Fünfen Tyvm Ich komme erst jetzt im Februar dazu, meine Eindrücke vom Extrablatt in der Adventszeit zu notieren. Ich war begeistert wie selten. Eine zeitlose und wirklich ganz tolle Weihnachtsdekoration, einfach wow. Klassisch führend das Rot, schön einfach die unzähligen Elemente. In einem hellen und modernen, großzügig geschnittenen Raum, wo wirklich viele Gäste Platz finden können. Eine berauschende Athmosphäre, leicht und beschwingt. Super aufgeräumt und sauber, auch vom Interieur her volle 5 Sterne. Hyper freundliches Personal und gutes Gastronomie-Angebot. Ein moderner Blickfang im Herzen Monheims, wo einfach alles stimmt. So manche Lokalitäten in trendigen Vierteln von Großstädten können da nicht im geringsten mithalten. Alles lädt ein zum Wiederbesuch. Ich freue mich auf Frühling Sommer Herbst, wo ich mit Sicherheit des öfteren hier einkehren werde. Als Raucher leider nur im Terrassen-Segment - im Winter fand ich auch dort vor excellente Bedingungen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt, von der Decke bishin dem Heizstrahler über dem Sitzplatz. Es macht einfach Spaß, eine so einladende Gastronomie zu bewerten. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Ein wertvoller Ort mitten im Herzen des pulsierenden Innenstadttrubels, wo man wunderschön mal kurz durchatmen kann. Danke und immer wieder gerne.

Unser erster Besuch im Cafe Extrablatt in Monheim. Erster Eindruck sehr geräumig und gut ausgeleuchtet. Sehr bequeme Bankplätze ausgesucht. Super zuvorkommendes Personal. Das ist eine grundsätzliche Stärke von Café Extrablatt. Auch in anderen Filialen ist das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben Burger und Kleinigkeiten bestellt. Qualität und Geschmack gewohnt gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Sehr schön alles weihnachtlich geschmückt. Das Buffet war sehr gut nur das Besteck war eine Katastrophe schmutzig und zum Teil verkrustet. Einfach ekelig habe einer jungen Bedienung bescheid gesagt die Antwort ...auch so....

Wir sind sehr oft da, egal ob Frühstück, zum Mittag oder abends zum Cocktail trinken. Wir fühlen uns wohl und das Personal ist super lieb. Marvin ist der beste ! 😁

Ist für jedermann was dabei ob ein Snack Kaffee mit Kuchen oder eine Hauptmahlzeit. Und 3 Stunden parken im Parkhaus sind kostenlos

Frühstück - buffet. Mittagessen. Alles sehr lecker und ausreichend. Gute Auswahl und nette Servicekräfte.

Fürs Frühstücksbuffet am Sonntagmorgen echt zu empfehlen. Wirklich reichhaltige Auswahl vom englischen Frühstück (sogar mit Porrige), über Antipasti, Shashuka, Brötchen, Wurst und Käseplatte ( Geflügel separat ) vegane Auswahl bis zur Obstplatte. Gerne wieder.
