Had dinner there with 6 people on Sunday September 22nd, 2024. I used to love going here. With the tenant before last. The food was always great. With the last tenant it was a disaster, but the current tenant blows everything up. Waiters don't know which one Table which drinks come. Food cold. Waiting time up to 1 1/2 hours. When there are 15 guests. Then the wrong food is brought out. It seems that no one is interested there, you really get the impression that this former wonderful excursion restaurant ,used for other purposes. Never again with this tenant.

Unfortunately, we were only moderately enthusiastic. The ambience and service really deserve a good rating. The waitress was quick and very friendly and the views of the Rhine are priceless. However, the portion sizes vary greatly. The schnitzel plates are huge, unfortunately with cold fried potatoes and, contrary to what is described in the online menu, no salad. The portion of herring, tiny. Add two small fillets and a few fried potatoes. The prices should definitely be revised in the online map. All meals are on average 4 euros more expensive locally. Unbelievable... Unfortunately that wasn't very professional. The place has real potential...but still needs to work on itself a bit.

It's a shame, we were there recently and were very satisfied. Today, Sunday, August 25th, the three of us wanted to eat there. The terrace wasn't overly crowded, but because of the cool wind we sat down in the inn. The drinks were brought quickly, but we waited more than an hour for our food. When it was finally brought to our table, the food was completely cold. We left the restaurant after paying for the drinks and will definitely not go there again.

We used to love going out to eat at the Rheinblick campsite, but apparently this is no longer possible without a reservation. The staff is totally unfriendly and totally dismissive. What a shame!

Wow, I'm speechless and don't know where to start. Starting with the service that you have to ask if you can/are allowed to order to probably the worst meal in a long time. We were there with 6 adults and 2 children. The food took over an hour to arrive, but if it was at least good then it wouldn't be an issue. But this?! For €16.50 you get a plate of fries with “veal schnitzel”?! Which every chip shop gets beautifully decorated. Totally desolate. Even that is somewhat okay if the food tastes good. But every kind of spice was forgotten here, and there were all 6! Adult plate cold. The short one had ordered pancakes, only when the adults' food arrived were we told that they were out and that he could have something else. Yes, of course, so that everyone eats and the short one watches. I have never been served worse and have never eaten so badly. It's a shame because the store was great before. I could list other topics like the toilet here, but I'll spare myself that. Unfortunately, money was thrown out the window.

We have always enjoyed being guests at Rheinblick, but unfortunately we had a very negative dining experience for the second time. The new operator is in no way interested in this. The first time I had to return the shrimp salad I ordered, the salad was very sandy and the shrimp was fried dry. Yesterday we had the overpriced vegetable platter twice for €11.90. For my girlfriend and me. We couldn't believe what we saw. 3 small slices of zucchini, 3 small slices of eggplant, an eighth of pepper and 4 divided mushrooms plus two small unroasted slices of baguette. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo, that would have been very useful. My friend's husband ordered fries with the dish and got fried potatoes... I don't want to award any points for this, we expressed our displeasure, unfortunately nothing was responded to, there was no apology and no further accommodation. The four of us won't eat there anymore. We find it disgraceful. We all work for our money and going out to eat is now a luxury. I want to be able to enjoy it in a relaxed and contented way, but that's not possible here. Very arrogant hospitality...

You used to be able to eat well and tasty here. The food is becoming more and more expensive, but it would be okay if the quality was maintained. Apart from the long waiting times and non-existent food (bread), the salad was spread with the schnitzel, the breading was thicker than the schnitzel itself and was dripping with oil. I don't even want to start with the burger. Only the waiters were very funny and friendly.

Great view... Everything else is borderline. We waited 2 hours for the food, when we asked we were told it would still take a while. Then, unfortunately, we drove home without eating at 8:30 p.m. with a hungry toddler. There was no apology from the staff. Never again! I don't recommend it! Absolute no go!

We ate there for the first time on August 4th, 2024 on a Sunday when the weather was nice. 4 adults and 2 small children. The food was very good, plentiful and at reasonable prices. Unfortunately it was a disaster...we always liked going there to eat...but today was the peak...My husband had paprika schnitzel with fries...I had the veal liver plate...everything!!! Ice cold...and the taste was terrible...what happened to the beautiful view of the Rhine...unfortunately no longer recommended!!! We're definitely not coming back!!!

Location is very nice, but some of the food was underwhelming. The meat in the burger wasn't cooked through and the fried potatoes were very soggy. However, the schnitzel was delicious. Service was OK.

We were in the restaurant for the first time yesterday. The waiters were very friendly and remained so even when the terrace was full. The cellars here have also remained quiet and friendly. Of course you have to wait 5 minutes to reorder a drink given the rush, this is completely normal. The food came about 35 minutes after ordering. It was tasty but could have been a little hotter for me. Will definitely come back.

The burger I ordered was downright disgusting. It tasted like it came straight from the freezer and was neither fresh nor tasty. The price was particularly annoying. Wow. Pure stress and chaos. I have to take credit for the fact that we were informed about the waiting time. Otherwise, the service was rushed, stressed... and scattered. On several occasions we didn't know which table should have which food or drinks...guests who arrived much later were served much earlier at several tables. Little hospitality. It's a shame for a supposed reboot. And you searched in vain for the advertised pasta menu on the Internet. ..... June 30, 2024: now we were several times with the new owner. Of course, you shouldn't expect Michelin cuisine here. But you can hardly sit more comfortably in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area in summer, thank God the drinks are ice cold and the food is right for the price/performance, rather performance...

Unfortunately I have to agree with the bad reviews. The owner changed at the beginning of 2024 and that was the beginning of the end. We have always enjoyed eating there regularly over the last few years. That was completely done for us. Prices have gone up. I can still cope with that, but simply leaving out the salad for the schnitzel with fried potatoes is not an option. But that's not enough. The schnitzel had no taste and the fried potatoes were almost raw and swimming in oil. You don't have to go through that again. It's a shame for the beautiful location and the restaurant. We won't be coming back again.

Unfortunately, at least for me, the quality has deteriorated, the turkey schnitzel was so poor, there was a bunch of puree, that was it. Drinks were also slow to arrive at the table. It's a shame, it was much better there.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting the Rheinblick restaurant at the Baumberg campsite for the second time in a month and unfortunately I have to say that I was very disappointed with my visit. Here are my reasons for this negative review: When we entered the restaurant, we (4 guests) were ignored by several waiters. They seemed stressed and annoyed, which unfortunately didn't change during the entire stay. We weren't assigned a table either; we had to fight for it ourselves. When we finished our drinks, we were asked if we knew what we wanted to eat. I asked to give us a moment until the drinks come. When the drinks came, we were told that the kitchen had imposed a 30-minute stop on admission, saying that we were unlucky and that we had had our chance. After about 40 minutes, a waiter condescended to take the order. We were assured beforehand that it would only take about 15 minutes for our food to arrive after the admissions stop. After another 30 minutes, the food came from the neighboring table, which had also ordered before us. The couple then refused the plates because of the long wait, paid for their drinks and left. Now we asked the waiter what was going on with our food, he went into the kitchen, came back and said about 20 minutes. We then decided not to eat any more, since we had been waiting for our food for more than an hour, we told the waiter that, and he seriously wanted to give us the two plates from the neighboring table. Even though he offered this without payment, I couldn't believe it since the plates had already been on their way from the kitchen for 15 minutes. All in all, my visit to the Rheinblick restaurant was a big disappointment. The unfriendly service and the long waiting times greatly affected my experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not visit it myself.

This restaurant has a beer garden with a lovely view over the Rhein River, which is a great spot for a refreshing drink. However, the service was not very friendly and extremely slow. We waited 30 minutes for two simple salads, which were very disappointing. They consisted of a few ingredients thrown together with a lackluster dressing. The only saving grace was the juicy, tenderly grilled chicken. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Perhaps it's worth stopping by for a quick drink to enjoy the view, but I wouldn't recommend it for a meal.

Had a good meal here for a long time. Today an absolute disaster. The waiters can no longer speak a word of German. We waited an hour for our drinks. And then back to eating. I had the schnitzel in cheese sauce. The fries were cold. The schnitzel was raw. There was no salad with it. And there was no cheese sauce either. Instead, put a reusable slice of sandwich cheese on top. The store destroyed itself. Unfortunately no longer recommended. I would prefer not to give any stars at all.

It's a shame, everything was better last year. Fried potatoes cold, onion on schnitzel not crispy. No more side salad. The price was raised for this.

I am in between. On the one hand, the location is great and some of the food (matjes) is also very good. However, 1/3 of the dish is salad, which was inedible due to sand. I'm not picky, but I've never experienced this anywhere! I told the waitress that and was expecting a "Sorry, I'll speak to the kitchen" or perhaps some other small apology. .. Nothing came. Sorry guys, it doesn't work that way. I definitely won't be coming to eat anymore.

Had dinner today. A single catastrophe. When the weather was good, we sat inside because there was only room in the sun, at a table for 3 people even though it was reserved for 5. It took ages for someone to come for drinks. Food order to be taken waited another half hour and only after several waves. After an hour the food came. One was completely missing and only came after everyone was almost finished. At one meal cold fried potatoes, at the next a raw schnitzel and at the fish plate the prawns, the most expensive thing on the plate, were simply hollow. Reordering drinks took forever and only when we drew attention to ourselves. That was the last visit for now.

At first we were ignored, the waiter walked past us 5 times, 15 minutes. Eating took forever, schnitzel ok, but fries not cooked through. Toilet was horrible, everything on the floor was wet. CONCLUSION, not again. The previous owner was much better. Cleanliness?

Easter disaster Unfortunately, despite a pre-ordered table for 14 people, the planned family Easter get-together was a failure. The new innkeepers don't seem to have heard much about organization, including the kitchen. Unacceptable waiting times, food slapped onto the plate, barely fried fried potatoes, undercooked hamburgers - sauces and side dishes forgotten. Has the chef ever heard of decorating a plate? Fish portions of the same dish were sometimes only half the size of the guest sitting next to me. Who doesn't pay attention there? Hardly any food came as advertised. Entire tables of 10 people left the restaurant without a word after waiting for an hour. Complaints to the overwhelmed service staff increased throughout the restaurant. The new owners should think deeply about whether they are in the right place. P r o f e s s i o n a l i t e definitely looks different. Without advice, I see a black future. Nothing I wrote here is an exaggeration. Scaring away guests won't work for long... And as I said, almost all tables were pre-booked! That's why no one comes to me now with a "staffing shortage". And lots of guests are always expected at Easter.

Food was OK. But it has decreased significantly. Paprika onion schnitzel has become €2 more expensive and the portions are almost half smaller. Drink prices are also extremely high. So we refrained from drinking coffee at the end and reduced the tip to €2. We will look elsewhere and reorient ourselves. For the prices there are better local ones. A pity . The menu on the internet is not up to date, the prices are old.

But apparently you never learn that happy customers come back. No, it's probably just about earning as much as possible with as little effort. We then waited another hour for the food. Actually it was already time for coffee and cake. The food came and was a complete disaster for everyone. Almost all dishes were cold. Some pieces of the liver were still raw. No spices on the food. Everyone had to add more seasoning. The food was bland. The quantity was also very clear. It was so little for the same price. This was different with the previous owner. Price was the same but the quality and quantity of dishes was very good. Even though everything didn't taste good, we only ate because we were all hungry at 4 p.m. Conclusion, we will probably switch to the other restaurants in town soon. It's a shame, it was convenient to eat here or take food with you when you're at the campsite. Maybe you should try to keep regular guests instead of focusing everything on walk-in customers.

El Restaurant queda al lado del Río, el ambiente afuera es acogedor, pero adentro es como cualquier restaurante. La atención es media, la comida igual. Yo pedí hamburguesa picante puesto que no conocía el restaurante y esta estaba seca y el picante brillaba por su ausencia. El precio no fue el mejor del mundo, el plato alrededor de 12,5€ sin incluir bebidas

Das Essen war ausreichend, die Temperatur der Speisen war nicht gut! nach unserem empfinden zu kalt. Die Kalbsleber war nicht zart und sehr mit Sehnen durzogen. Die Pratkartoffeln waren in Ordnung leider gabes keinen Salat zu den Gerichten. Die Schnitzel waren groß und ausreichend! Wir haben draußen auf der Terasse gesessen und hatten einen schönen Ausblick auf den Rhein.

Schöner Biergarten mit Blick auf den Rhein und gigantischen Portionen zu humanen Preisen. Service im Restaurant leider etwas langsam und es kann etwas dauern, bis Bestellung aufgegeben ist oder man bezahlen kann.

Eine Bereicherung der Gastronomie. Normalerweise bräuchte man keine Meinung über Muscheln Rheinischer Art abzugeben. Weil so viel verkehrt machen geht nicht . Aber ein Rezept zu entwickeln, das auf alter überlieferter Art bekannt ist , dem aber eine neue Geschmacksrichtung gibt, die mit der alten so harmonisch einher geht, dass man der Meinung ist etwas komplett Neues zu essen. Was aber die alten Geschmäcker wieder auf den Plan ruft, so das man nur ein breites zufriedenes Grinsen im Gesicht trägt und sich freut . Das ist Kochen auf hohem Niveau. Meine Hochachtung an den jungen Koch. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Geschmackserlebnis.

Familiär nette Leute gute Aussichten auf Vater Rhein

Hier gibt's was auf den Teller zu fairen Preisen. Hamburger, Schnitzel, Salate u.a. - An Wochenenden und bei schönem Wetter kann's schon mal voll werden und man muss etwas Zeit mitbringen.

Das Ambiente ist super, Blick auf den Rhein beim Essen einfach genial. Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Der Grillteller könnte einen größeren Teller gebrauchen, das ist aber meckern auf hohen Niveau. Grillteller, eine super Menge, die Kalbsleber war sehr lecker ( der Rest natürlich auch ). Cheeseburger, das Patty super gebraten, der Käse sehr lecker, die frittierten Zwiebeln passten perfekt dazu. Der Besuch war toll und wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant an einem Sonntag bei schönen Wetter, entsprechend voll war es, aber wir fanden schnell einen freien Tisch. Bis ein Mitarbeiter unsere Getränkebestellung aufnahm, dauerte es eine halbe Stunde. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass es bei der Essensbestellung eine Wartezeit von 1 - 1,5 Stunden gibt. Ich finde den Hinweis gut, dann braucht man sich nicht beschweren, wenn es mal länger dauert. Wir hatten also reichlich Zeit, das Treiben zu beobachten, der Getränkenachschub klappte gut. Die Mitarbeiter laufen mit Getränke und Essen wie fleißige Ameisen kreuz und quer durch den Biergarten, auf der Suche nach dem richtigen Tisch. Die Tische stehen wild durcheinander, die Tischnummern sind nicht gut sichtbar, eine Aufteilung in feste Bereiche für jeden Mitarbeiter war nicht zu erkennen. Das fördert nicht gerade die Stimmung der Kollegen untereinander. Mit einer besseren Organisation wären die Mitarbeiter und auch die Gäste deutlich entspannter. Das Essen war lecker, die Portionen groß, Preis-Leistung mehr als angemessen. Die Lage am Rhein ist sehr schön und vermittelt Urlaubsfeeling. Leider waren die Damentoiletten in einem unwürdigen Zustand, dies muss man wohl zur Hälfte den Gästen ankreiden, die scheinbar nicht in der Lage sind, die Kloschüssel zu treffen. Insgesamt würde ich so bald nicht wiederkommen.

Leckerer Salat, kühles Pils, schnelle und nette Bedienung. Blauer Himmel mit Sonnenschein. In unmittelbarer Rheinnähe eine schöne Atmosphäre.

Toller Ziegenkäsesalat! Kein Chaos obwohl es seehr voll war (im Restaurant). In der dazugehörigen Beachbar war es hingegen angenehm leer und sehr gemütlich!

Wir sind oft hier. Früher war ich schon immer mit den Eltern dort. Der Service ist super immer wirklich IMMER lieb und freundlich. Man hat uns sogar einen Tisch bei vollem Biergarten und super viel zu tun in den Schatten getragen weil wir mit Kleinkind nicht in die Sonne wollten. Das Essen ist immer frisch, sehr lecker und sehr große Portionen. Und der Biergarten könnte auch in einem Urlaubsland sein. Es ist sehr schön unter den Bäumen , herrliches AMBIENTE direkt am Rhein!!! Wunderbar. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier her!

Das Ambiente war toll, gutes Essen, dazu einen sehr schöner Sommerabend, leider viel zu voll (es wurden zusätzliche Tische geholt um alle Gäste einen Sitzplatz zu ermöglichen) und dadurch war die Küche etwas sehr überfordert, wir haben 55 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet und zum begleichen der Rechnung müssten wir wieder 25 Minuten warten.

Das Essen mega gut und toller Service 5 verdiente Sterne 👍

Spontan abends zum Essen gekommen, ohne Reservierung einen tollen Platz auf der Terrasse bekommen mit einem schönen Ausblick. Zu erst Getränke bestellt und diese kamen auch zeitnah und dann das Essen bestellt, essen kam ebenfalls Recht schnell und war auch geschmacklich gut. Preislich kann es natürlich immer Günstiger sein. Auch bei der Bezahlung gab es keine Probleme, Kartenzahlung (keine Kreditkarte) und BAR ist möglich. Wenn wir wieder dort den Campingplatz besuchen, werden wir dort uns definitiv wieder einen Platz holen!
