bloomgold in Monheim am Rhein

Ein wahrer Wohlfühlort mitten in der beschaulichen Altstadt von Monheim. Wir trafen hier an einem extrem heißen Samstag ein und wurden vorbildlich verköstigt und betreut. Die angebotenen Speisen waren vorwiegend leicht und bekömmlich. So die Bloomgold Bowl mit Avocado, Hummus und Kichererbsen oder die Kokosmilch Suppe mit Zitronengras und Chilifäden oder der Schmackofatz-Salat. Dazu wählten wir gebratene Garnelen, die sensationell gut schmeckten. So konnten wir trotz der Hitze nach Herzenslust schlemmen, da alles sehr lecker war, ohne uns allzusehr zu belasten. Ein Ventilator wurde installiert, um die allgegenwärtige Hitze besser ertragen zu können. Wir tranken literweise Wasser dazu und waren somit bestens vorbereitet auf unsere weiteren Unternehmungen. Alle Speisens waren vollendet zubereitet und angerichtet, die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente äußerst angenehm. Das Bloomgold ist in einem alten Haus, das sich perfekt in die Umgebung einfügt. Nach dem Essen bietet sich direkt ein "Verdauungsspaziergang" durch die Altstadt an.

Ist ok. Räumlichkeiten und Service gut. Essen nicht schlecht aber für das was es ist meiner Meinung nach zu teuer.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ein sehr schöner Laden. Wir kommen wieder 🙂 !

Für ein Geburtstagsabendessen im kleinen Family-Kreis habe ich mir das Bloomgold im der Altstadtherz von Monheim ausgesucht. Sehr liebevoll und bloomig gestaltetes Ambiente, aufmerksame und herzliche Bewirtung und kreative und qualitativ hochwertige Speisen (auch vegan!) haben uns sehr gefallen und geschmeckt! Wir freuen uns schon auf die Party mit über 50 Gästen, die wir Anfang Mai im großen Saal feiern werden... Vielen Dank ans Bloomglod-Team! Inzwischen hat meine Party im großen Saal stattgefunden. Meine Gäste waren begeistert von der wunderschönen Lokation mit eigenem Terrassenteil (bei herrlichem Sommerwetter) und dem hervorragenden Buffet mit vielen veganen Varianten. Und ich habe mich sehr über den perfekten Service der Speisen und Getränke, und vieler Serviceleistungen im Hintergrund gefreut. Ein Rundum-Sorglos-Paket,- immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen! Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle fleißigen Hände!

Ich bin restlos begeistert. Das Essen, der Service, das Ambiente - alles stimmt und ist aufmerksam durchdacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein schöner Genussort mit einer kreativen Küche. Man schmeckt die guten Lebensmittel. Zusammen mit dem schönen Ambiente und dem sympathischen Service sind wir wieder einmal sehr zufrieden nach Hause gegangen. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte erlaubt es auch mit einem kleineren Budget lecker zu essen.

Ich war schon öfters im Bloomgold aber leider war der letzte Besuch enttäuschend. Ich hatte einen Spargel Salat bestellt der NICHT als Vorspeise deklariert war. Der Salat war aber so mini, dass ich dachte es sei eine Vorspeise. Selbst meine Partnerin musste kurz schmunzeln wie klein dieser Salat ist. Der Salat war lecker aber die Größe war ein Witz.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche, freundlichem Personal und einer schönen Einrichtung. Auch die Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war erstklassig angerichtet und hat auch so geschmeckt. 🍝🥗🍰👌🏼😍

Saßen 10 Minuten draußen. Keiner kam obwohl uns eine Mitarbeiterin wohl gesehen hatte welche von drinnen kam. Haben dann nochmal 4 Minuten gewartet und sind dann gegangen. Wir waren praktisch garnicht da 😃 Es Saßen draußen zwei vierergruppen und 2 Damen....also nicht übermäßig überfüllt. Schade.

Feines Essen, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service: kleine Sonderwünsche waren kein Problem. Die Abendkarte ist allerdings noch umfangreicher als Mittags. Faire Preise. Und bei gutem Wetter auf der schönen Terrasse. Wir kommen wieder!

Super schönes Restaurant mit Klasse Service und tollem Essen!

Ich war an meinem Geburtstag dort Mittag essen. Wir wurden an den reservierten Tisch geführt. Das Essen war von der Qualität perfekt passend zu dem Preis. Das Ambiente mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet. Eine Freundin meinte beim Essen alles was die beiden angehen machen sie mit Herzblut. Der Service war freundlich u d professionelle. Was für uns wichtig war Hunde freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir waren gestern beim Frühlingsfest dort. Kuchen gab es nicht, das wurde uns aber erst nach der Bestellung des Kaffees mitgeteilt. Auf der Karte wurden Waffeln angeboten - auch diese gab es nicht. Nach Kaffeetrinken und Bezahlung gingen wir Richtung Ausgang und sahen eine Vitrine mit Kuchen… Hätte uns der Service nicht mal darauf aufmerksam machen können???? Nein leider hat das alles gestern gar nicht gepasst! SCHADE!!!

Ostern zum Brunch. Mit gutem Feeling wurde hier ein altes Objekt attraktiv hergerichtet. Viel Atmosphäre, freundlicher und schneller Service, ständig neue Gerichte am Buffet. Da war der Vormittag schnell vorbei. Macht natürlich besoders Spaß mit ein paar Freunden oder der Familie.

Alles bestens: Gutes Essen, netter Service, Preise okay, Ambiente schön.

Ich durfte hier eine Hochzeit musikalisch begleiten und kann die Location absolut empfehlen. Das Bloomgold in Monheim ist eine sehr stilvolle Eventlocation mit einer tollen Atmosphäre für Hochzeiten. Die Räume wirken modern und gleichzeitig warm, sodass sofort eine gute Feier-Stimmung entsteht. Aus DJ-Sicht besonders angenehm: genügend Platz für das Setup, gute Möglichkeiten für Licht und Sound sowie eine Tanzfläche, die schnell voll wird, wenn die Party einmal läuft. Genau so soll es sein. Das Team vor Ort war sehr professionell, freundlich und perfekt organisiert. Der Ablauf mit Service und Planung lief reibungslos, sodass sich Brautpaar und Gäste komplett auf das Feiern konzentrieren konnten. Die Hochzeit, die ich dort spielen durfte, war eine großartige Party mit voller Tanzfläche und bester Stimmung bis spät in die Nacht. Fazit: Wunderschöne Location, starkes Team und perfekte Voraussetzungen für eine unvergessliche Hochzeitsfeier. Als DJ spiele ich hier jederzeit wieder gern.

A very cozy atmosphere, ideal for meeting up with friends or a date. The food is excellent, the portions are very generous, and it's absolutely delicious. The service is also very friendly and attentive. This won't be my last visit. There's a parking lot nearby with plenty of spaces. Parking is free.

From the very first bite, it was clear: Bloomgold in Monheim is a culinary highlight. The beef ragout was melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and simply outstanding. Add to that a stylish ambiance and attentive, friendly service – highly recommended!

If you want to go out to eat in Monheim on a Friday at 2:20 p.m., it would have to be open first, as advertised online. Too bad. We were looking forward to Fish Finger Friday.

I heard about this restaurant through a Reel. (Monheim is generally a very cute little town with lots of restaurants.) We have a small cat, but we really enjoyed it. I also like it when the dog is given water right away. The service was really nice, the seating was comfortable, and we'll definitely go back, hoping they'll still have treats from the patisserie 'Mit Liebe'.

We'd never been to Monheim before and had no idea that it had a lovely old town and numerous restaurants. Luckily, we chose bloomgold. Great food, great wine, and superb service. We'd love to come back.

We spontaneously decided to reserve a table there. The food was very, very good. Everything was perfectly balanced. The schnitzel was fresh and super crispy. The potato wedges were incredibly delicious. The service was extremely attentive and courteous. We definitely recommend Bloomgold!

A very nice restaurant – when it's open. We've found the door closed several times, as was the case today. There was no sign indicating that it was on vacation or had changed opening hours. If I'm that ambitious, sticking to the opening hours is a must. As I said – when it's open, it's very nice.

On Fridays, they serve homemade fish fingers, which are worth trying. They were delicious.

We celebrated our wedding with 30 people in the adjacent room of BloomGold and were very pleased. Friendly staff, excellent service, and good value for money. Highly recommended and we'd be happy to come again. Thank you! ❤️

Not impressed... We were at bloomgold a few days ago, on a Wednesday. It was moderately busy, with only a few tables occupied. The ambiance was pleasant, simply perfect. The service was friendly, attentive, and appropriate. The menu was a disappointment for me. The selection of main courses was very limited, definitely too meager for me. My partner's asparagus dish with rosemary potatoes and salmon (€29) was appropriate. The wine prices - around €10 per 0.25l - well, I've had cheaper. Overall, I was satisfied; for the prices, I've eaten and drunk much better.

We visited Bloomgold for the first time yesterday, and we highly recommend it. The nice weather allowed us to sit outside. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly. The food was a delight. All in all, a great experience. We'd be happy to come back.

Celebrated a milestone birthday at this venue. A very attractive room with a fantastic terrace. Very friendly staff and fast service. The buffet was very varied and delicious. Very nice and highly recommended.

We celebrated our wedding at Bloomgold – and it was simply perfect! From the initial discussions, everything went smoothly. The process was perfectly organized, the advice was always friendly and professional, and even last-minute requests for changes were implemented without a hitch. We (and our guests!) were particularly thrilled with the cake from the in-house patisserie – a real highlight! Many, many thanks to the entire Bloomgold team for this unforgettable day. We can wholeheartedly recommend you!

All good, but I found that the prices were high for the average food: schnitzel for 29€ or even 34€ (if adding asparagus) was not worth it (not super tasty, very thick). So there are other places with better price/value ratio. In the end I spent 40€/person for schnitzel and one drink…

We ate at Bloomgold after our civil wedding. We had the room upstairs to ourselves and it was just beautiful! The food was very tasty and the portions were very large. The service was totally warm and attentive. We felt completely at home – thanks to the whole team!

We spent a wonderful evening. We celebrated a birthday at Blommgold. The food was buffet style and was of very good quality. The drinks were served quickly by the attentive staff. The room was ideal and we were able to dance to the music of the DJ. Great location and recommended.

So I (Thomas, 22) called and asked what time Bloomgold was open until. Before I could reserve a table, the phone hung up without any promises. When I came by in person the service was catastrophic and disrespectful! Not recommended at all

We reserved a table for 11 people in writing, but we couldn't find the reservation on site and were rudely rejected. After back and forth a table was offered but we waited a long time. 50 minutes for the drinks alone. The food was very tasty but the service was not good.

I had booked a table for two people for this evening a week ago and received a reservation reminder by email yesterday. When we arrived at the restaurant on time, I stated that I had reserved a table for two people. The gentleman said it was bad at the moment, that it was full, and assigned us a table in an uncomfortable, large room that looked unused and was probably intended for parties. Apparently, the reservation hadn't been honored. I said that I wasn't happy with the space and would have preferred a table in the "real" restaurant. The gentleman then said that if a table became available there, we could move. This happened promptly. However, it was chilly here, and my girlfriend and I were freezing. The food was very tasty and appetizingly presented. However, during the entire time we spent there, which was three hours, no one came to ask if everything was okay. In my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant in terms of service.

We got married here in 2023 and were more than happy with everything. The planning with Cynthia was super flexible. individually, lovingly and fairly priced. Everything went smoothly on our day. The food, from cakes to the hot menus, was all super tasty. We are extremely grateful that we got married at Bloomgold. It was perfect. We have also been here several times since then and it was always delicious and everyone was welcoming!

Called today at 12:00 and asked if we could come over for lunch with 8 adults and 7 children. We checked over the phone and were told that this wasn't a problem. At 1:30 p.m. we were in the store and we were just told that everything was already packed and there was no more food. Very annoying and incomprehensible since the store is actually open until 3 p.m.

Breakfast selection could be better, but otherwise super tasty, friendly staff and great location!

This was our first time at Bloomgold. It is a historic place that is lovingly furnished and has a cozy atmosphere. The starter platter for 2 people was very lovingly prepared and we enjoyed it very much. For dessert I decided on the sweet winery flatbread.....it was so, so delicious😋My daughter also ate it and was just as excited as I was.....that ended up being a dessert for two 😂🤣😂 We would love to come back! Nice place. Very comfortably furnished. The service was courteous and generally very polite. But there is still room for 5 stars. The food was consistently good, solid and harmonious. But here too it lacks a bit of finesse for 5 stars. Anyone expecting haute cuisine will probably be disappointed. In general, an absolute recommendation, even if there is still room for improvement. Unfortunately I can't give it 4.5 stars.

The restaurant's furnishings are so loving and cozy, you'll be amazed and at ease as soon as you enter. The menu has neither too much nor too little selection. I had the pulled goose burger with crispy wedges. Soooo delicious and the wedges are really crispy. The staff was very friendly and open-minded. It's a shame that I live so far away, otherwise the restaurant would have a new regular. 😊😊

Das Fleisch des Boeuf Bourguignon war zäh und relativ trocken. Als ich dies bei der Kellnerin nach 3 Bissen anmerkte, nahm sie meinen Teller und verschwand damit wortlos in der Küche. Es gab kein Alternativangebot, jedoch stand mein Gericht (obwohl ich nichts aß) auf der Rechnung. Die Kellnerin bemerkte dann noch, dass allen anderen dieses Gericht geschmeckt hätte... Mieses Beschwerdemanagment.

Unfortunately, the meat of the Boeuf Bourguignon was tough and dry. After 3 bites I complained and had it returned. There was no alternative from the staff. However, the dish was listed on the bill with the comment 'everyone else has enjoyed it so far'. Poor complaint management, meat quality could be optimized

First class food, although a bit expensive. Really great. The service was super nice, but unfortunately also very slow (45 minutes until we had our first drinks). We had enough time, so we still give it 5 stars.

The bloomgold has everything you need to be a favorite restaurant: fantastic food, a great drinks menu, super friendly service and a great ambience inside and out. Absolute recommendation, whether for a romantic dinner, dinner with friends, coffee with the family or breakfast with the girls.

Finally had breakfast at bloomgold. The Eggs Benedict are fantastic. The eggs were perfect, the bread was very tasty. Clear recommendation! You should reserve a table and it sometimes takes a while because it is very busy.

A few weeks ago, a friend and I visited Bloomgold spontaneously, but specifically for the desserts, after hearing nothing but outstanding things. And what should I say? Our expectations were far exceeded. Both desserts were to die for. The location is also unique - at the same time beautifully furnished and yet it is very cozy and you just feel comfortable. Highly recommended ♥️

We went to Bloomgold today for my birthday and we will definitely be back! An amazing meal, incredibly good quality and outstanding service! We were recommended the special fish sticks (homemade cod sticks) on Fish Stick Friday and we were not disappointed! For dessert there was strawberry sorbet and creme brulee.

I was just there at 9:01 p.m. I asked politely if I could order something else. "No, the kitchen is closed." Don't you want to make money? Very strange

The three of us ate there last night. All three of us had the Bloomgold veal schnitzel. The accompanying cucumber salad only came upon request. The amount of meat on my plate was significantly different than my friends', much less. When the waitress asked about it, I only saw one and I'll let the chef know. Nothing came after that. The quality also did not correspond to the price of €28.90. We weren't happy there and will meet somewhere else for dinner in the future, which is a shame.

The bloomgold is a super spacious location. The interior is charming and reminiscent of medieval halls. The walls are artfully decorated with love for nature. But that also suits Monheim. The toilet has an unfortunate and inconvenient sink. Otherwise, the anteroom to the men's and women's toilets is equipped with a changing table. The service was wonderful. The staff responded to requests for changes to the food and was very friendly. The breakfast was a bit awkwardly placed on the plate, e.g. The salad was constantly taken off the plate because it was a bit overloaded. Everything tasted very satisfying. We'd love to come back.

Large location with lots of cozy seating areas. The coffee and cold drinks taste very good. There is also a good selection on the menu; sometimes also in combination with other local providers. The restaurant also includes the Café mit Liebe and the Patisserie mit Liebe (Old Town and Mitte).

We were here with our small party after our wedding ceremony. It was very tasty, great service and a very nice atmosphere. Thanks so much.

So, aha... I thought to myself: Tribute to James Jocye. Bloomsday is only June 16th, but we felt like trying it out. The map is manageable, which I like. Always. The Wiener Schnitzel almost like in Vienna!! So good. The cucumber salad... a bit too little for me personally. The crème brûlée was a sweet finish, and the well-chilled Syrah went perfectly. The professionals were attentive and friendly. You can go back there with peace of mind!!

Reserved a table for Mother's Day and it worked without any problems. Reminder received by email 1 day in advance. Parking is available nearby, but difficult on Mother's Day as Monheim's old town was packed. The table was assigned to us, directly at the entrance on the left. At first I thought it would be great, away from the noise because my mother wears a hearing aid, but unfortunately there was also the entrance to the toilet, which was heavily used. Well, you can't have everything. The Limoncello Spritz was ice-cold and tasted fruity. The beers also tasted delicious. We had the gamba pan, which was a poem, my husband said. Then 2 x salad bowls with falafel. The falafel was tasty and the dressing went well with the salad. The corn chicken was super tender and nicely presented. For dessert we had ice cream, vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate sorbet. Unfortunately, the actually favorite almond tart wasn't available on a Sunday. We will be back.

We chose the Bloomgold for our communion celebration and were absolutely thrilled! The service was not only attentive but also lightning fast, which our large group really appreciated. Every detail seemed to have been perfectly thought out to ensure we had an unforgettable day. The atmosphere in the restaurant was inviting and festive, ideal for such a special occasion. We are completely satisfied and can only warmly recommend the Bloomgold. A real gem that exceeded expectations. Gladly again.

Nice restaurant with nice staff. The breakfast including coffee was quite good (we had the vegan bread roll breakfast), but the spread jars were very small. Generally everything is rather expensive. But what's not possible: pricing a Babyccino at €1.90 and then charging €0.80 extra for oat milk (this is free in many places, after all it's just a small amount of frothed oat milk). In general, it is not fair to charge such a high surcharge for oat milk when you can get a liter of oat milk (here: Oatly) in the restaurant for €1.40-2.00. After all, oat milk is much more sustainable, which is why some cafes now don't charge any extra to support it.

The grilled shrimps are not recommended; they taste; However, they swim in the oil with the good vegetables - not easy food :-)!

Great as a restaurant, a dream as a wedding location :-) We celebrated a wonderful winter wedding at Bloomgold in December 2023 with around 60 guests. The joint planning went smoothly and the event manager from Bloomgold gave us lots of great suggestions regarding the event and food that we wouldn't have thought of on our own. Food and drinks in Bloomgold are characterized by their high quality, but also by the fact that they are always up to date and offer a modern menu. The wedding celebration went perfectly. Many friendly faces greeted us at Bloomgold. We and our guests felt very welcome. All special requests were accommodated and always with a smile. Originally our idea was to eat at Bloomgold every wedding anniversary. We rejected that because it would be far too rare ;-) We can highly recommend the location, the friendly staff, the great service and the delicious food to everyone. Were there for breakfast yesterday. Even though we were way late for our reservation, the table was still available and no problem! Service very friendly! Food - as always - very tasty!!! We will be back!

Went there for breakfast and we were thrilled.

Das Ambiente ist beeindruckend und sehr schön. Das Essen war ganz ok. Wobei das Preis Leistung Verhältnis dem leider nicht entspricht. Der Service ist leider,wie schon vor 3 Jahren, nicht besser. Getränke bekommt man sehr sperrlich. Teilweise wartet man 20 Minuten auf sein Getränk. Man hätte wesentlich mehr getrunken. Dabei war es nicht einmal voll. Leider musste man um 22 Uhr, an einem Freitag Abend das Lokal verlassen. Leider mehr Schein als Sein. Ist eben Geschmackssache. Für mich steht vorallem alles mit dem Service. Da haben fast alle Lokale in Monheim mehr zu bieten.

We were here for our Christmas party and the food is really good - the service was courteous. The beef bourguignon was very tender and almost fell apart on its own. The salmon also tasted very tasty. The appetizer platter with the different slices of bread was also extremely tasty 😋. I can especially recommend the non-alcoholic cocktails (Wonderleaf Winter Thyme and Red Fall). I only give deductions for the chairs. Many have a very narrow cut due to their shell shape, which makes it a bit uncomfortable at times.

Very nicely decorated small restaurant with French-style cuisine. All dishes were extremely tasty. The service was very friendly and always close by.

Unfortunately, potential customers are not treated well here. You can't tell your customers a price for what a larger celebration costs. As a customer, you would like to be able to calculate and not only find out a vague price 4 weeks in advance. So if you would like to know an exact price for your celebration, it is better to look for another location, where you will still be taken seriously as a customer.
