Right by the Brandenburg Gate which was ideal for us to grab a quick dinner before the Light Show at the Gate. Delicious Curry wurst and cozy atmosphere

Food was almost lukewarm, but otherwise it would have been good. There is a machine there to charge your cell phone. I threw money in but it didn't work, maybe I did something wrong? No idea! The waitress didn't want to help me with how to do it the "right" way. I didn't get the money either and when I asked if you could make me a five-three, I asked four waitresses independently of each other and they all said they didn't have any change 🤣😅🙈 I asked how they give change to the guests here? ! When we were paying for the food, the waitress came to us three times because he thought we had given him the wrong price.

Disrespectful, We were at the restaurant in question today eat and are extremely disappointed. The atmosphere and the waiters were pleasant and we felt relatively comfortable. The prices are expensive but what else would you expect from a restaurant that is 200 meters away from the Brandenburg Gate. The food was delicious but one of my friends, who had a schnitzel for €26, didn't really like the schnitzel. End of song he puked twice and he feels really bad. It's unbelievable to get something like that for a lot of money. Not recommended

Good restaurant in a top location (between the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate) for tourist discoveries. There were four of us and we had various delicious main courses. Attentive quick service. Furnishings with lots of wood like in a Bavarian tavern. Reasonable prices. Reservation is recommended.

The service was absolutely not good. Employees very unmotivated. Instead of taking care of the guests, they just chatted with each other or were outside. (smoke break?) Ambiance is not like a brewery. Toilets were the dirtiest I've seen in years. Walls and trash cans haven't been cleaned in years. Really disgusting!!!

the currywurst is really overpriced (13.9€) which compared to the couple euros on the street stands is really steep, but at least it was tasty! soft sausage and crispy, hot fries. potato soup could be skipped, no distinct or memorable flavour

So the start was bumpy, the employee didn't really come to me motivated and was panting, no hello, no good evening. I still looked for a place. The reason was then quickly found. She was simply overwhelmed by the number of guests, completely understandable. The beer came quite quickly, as did the food. It was also okay, I had two pieces of roast pork, but unfortunately I got the end piece that wasn't quite as perfect as the other one. But otherwise super tasty and perfectly good value for money. Kaiserschmarrn was also okay, but I've eaten better. What I found a bit unfortunate about the brewery was that they didn't serve Pilsner from Bavaria or the Allgäu but rather Berliner Kindl. It's also good, but in my opinion it doesn't really fit in with a Bavarian-oriented concept. Price was okay for the location right at the Brandenburg Gate, I paid €34 (with tip) for half a beer, roast pork and Kaiserschmarn. What I would also like to note: There was a problem at the bar table, at some point the boss came and apologized (they had forgotten a schnitzel and the guest was right to complain). I thought the solution was fine, but I found it a bit of a shame that the complaint was dismissed. You could have simply helped the young waitress, she was all alone most of the time taking orders, serving drinks and food, clearing up and doing the billing. Of course everyone has a staff shortage, but then the managers have to come to me and show themselves... (Experience is not taken into account in the evaluation!)

I had the currywurst with the spicy onions. Unfortunately only lukewarm. The price is relatively high at almost 15 euros, but this is due to the location of the restaurant. The service is nice even if I had to draw attention to myself. Overall only three stars because the food was below my expectations.

Beiramus was amazing. I chose a dessert after a tour ended at the Brandenburg Gate as I wasn't overly hungry. My friends ate some of the other plates and said they were delicious. The menu is also in both German and English.

Four of us were there spontaneously. Service was nice, but we waited 30 minutes for someone to take the order and the food arrived quickly. Food quality was ok. Obatzda was only served with a pretzel, which of course didn't make it, but tasted very good. Currywurst was delicious. Apple strudel and the salad were ok, but nothing extraordinary. When we were finished we walked by again 15 minutes later, our table still hadn't been cleared.

Service very nice. The pork knuckle has a soggy rind, the taste of hunger... Cold dumplings. Unfortunately, the other dishes were only lukewarm with little taste. I passed it on to the kitchen, who according to the waiter wasn't very happy. Very unfortunate.

We stopped here for dinner after exploring Berlin. The food was great and the beer even better! Lots of options to choose from including interesting mixed beers with banana or cola! Our waitress was kind and didn’t mind translating some things to English for us. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather with views all around us.

Although it is a restaurant for tourists and we didn't have a great time the first time, we went there a second time. We eat quite well. Table service needs improvement: some orders were lost. Pretzel ordered with the dishes and only arrived at the end of the meal after 3 reminders. Very low quality/price ratio.

We stopped here for a lunch break with our son. The service was very unpleasant and it seemed that the waitress deliberately did not want to understand us. They didn't bring an order (there were only three of us!) and instead of a coffee they served something undrinkable. Very bad experience.

I am English so I know the crack caught the waitresses eye ordered my drinks they were their in 3 or 4 minutes, looked at other tourists sat down for at least 10minutes, counted at least 10 couples got up to leave,some stayed for at least 15 minutes,I ordered another beer before they got there's The manager has got to get his act together. The staff where running round like blue are flies. GET MORE STAFF you are loosing money

They were very busy with the football being on but there was no excuse for how disinterested and downright unhelpful the staff were. They seemed to give tables out randomly rather than by first come first served which was just rude, left very angry and will not be returning. Avoid!

2024-07-30 A nice lunch at the outdoor restaurant a stone's throw from the Brandenburg Gate. Even though it was right at the tourist destination, we paid 550 Swedish kronor for both our plates and drinks, which is no more or less than what the city's prices are around. The food closest to the picture tasted very good. Tender meat, tasty sauce and a good filling bread. Large portion and nice service. However, my table partner thought that her dish was not as good, the ragu donut was good but the mushroom sauce with meat in it was tasteless and boring. If you order Coca cola from mine only 0.2l, which is a bit of a joke. Otherwise it was a nice place, big and fresh inside. Close to the center, attractions and the train station. I am very satisfied with my food and my visit.

We had a fantastic meal on the terrace of this restaurant which suited our whole party, which spanned a 70 year age gap (13 - 84 years old!)! The waitress who served us could not have done more to be helpful and pleasant. She spoke perfect English but was also happy for us to use our far from perfect German. It was our favourite place that we ate at all holiday. The menu was extensive and the food was cooked perfectly.

Restaurant de spécialités allemandes parfaitement situé. Après y avoir déjeuné une première fois une curry wurst, nous avons goûté la seconde fois les spätzele au fromage et une spécialité de pommes de terre accompagnés de sauce crème-champignons (bieramisu au dessert) Les déjeuners furent copieux, bons (puisque nous y sommes retournées !) et l'accueil chaleureux .

Overall the place is good. Very nice waiters. Fast service. Delicious lemonades. At our request they made it without sugar. But two things disappointed us: The fries were old, undercooked at first, but then it became clear that they were just old and frozen. In addition, the damaged dishes were disappointing. If this is fixed, we'll be happy to come back.

A nice restaurant in the Brauhaus Stiel right at the famous gate. The menu is not too busy and offers something for everyone. The food was great, cheese spaetzle and knuckle, which was nice and crispy. First of all, a potato soup that deserves the name. Delicious. The beer was also very tasty. The service was very friendly and quick.

We are Berliners and went to the Hopfingerbräu yesterday to have a little something to eat. The potato soup was, as expected, good. How can you go wrong? Ah yes, use the cheapest spice - salt - liberally. The raspberry peppermint lemonade, on the other hand, was very tasty. We had a very attentive waitress who looked after us. Unfortunately, it is not possible to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in this restaurant. We sat at a table opposite the counter and were constantly disturbed by the noise that the employee behind the counter was making. Glasses of all kinds were constantly being cleared away at an unbearable volume, so that we had to constantly interrupt our conversations. Unfortunately, our intervention didn't stop the man from continuing to juggle the glasses. We have never experienced anything like this in Berlin! This restaurant is located directly at the Brandenburg Gate and is of course always well attended due to its privileged location. Here you don't have to worry about the store going bankrupt. It's probably the arrogance of this fact that you just don't have to make any effort because people are coming anyway. That's the really sad thing.

The 4 of us wanted to eat here. There was still plenty of room. But the waitress in the Biergarten was super unfriendly! The waitress at the door said we could move on, but the person serving in the Biergarten went completely out of her way and said she had nothing to do with her other colleague. We left here very quickly. I don't think they can handle crowds. They will never see us there again! We did not feel welcome there.

Came here when the Brandenburg Gate was closed off for the Eurocup public viewing. This made the place much quieter than it probably is normally. They had an excellent cider from Ostmost...farmy and complex. After decoding the allergens in the menu to find something gluten free, I ordered the vegan coconut curry. There were some things that didn't list gluten that were obviously fried, so I started clear of those. It was good, but the rice was really dry. But sure how they even accomplished getting it so dry and hard.

Had a less pleasant experience here today, with 2 friends we ordered 3 currywurst with fries and 3 beers. Very nice waitress but also chaotic. Everyone around us got their order and the beer came out in large numbers (by the way, the sun fan for EK 2024 is across the street) After half an hour and asking several times about the drink, still nothing. Then suddenly the food came through. The fries were cold, the currywurst was half lukewarm and the beer was stale. We paid for our food promptly and left immediately. Definitely not recommended, as I don't know how to deal with the crowds

The food was good (although out of the pork knuckle) and the location is prime. I had sympathy for the server though who was clearly overworked and had a large section to take care of for himself. We sat in the corner and were forgotten a few times, and almost walked out when we didn't have our main meal order taken. Again, not a reflection on the server because he was great (although visibly exhausted), it felt like they were short staffed which unfortunately reflects poorly on the entire establishment (the restaurant was FULL). In saying that, the schnitzel was 10/10, along with the potato salad side.

When I come to Berlin, I definitely go to this establishment. I always take a meter of German Beer and Nuremberg sausages. Everything is very tasty, the beer is great, the interior is great, the service is great. The price is very reasonable for such a location. I will come to Berlin again and will definitely come again. Amazing!!!

Very nice restaurant, but regarding the food, it is highly recommended not to order the Bavarian dumplings, sauerkraut and country pork. Because they are served very unappealingly and taste very cheap. The vegetarian curry doesn't taste like anything either. What's difficult is not to create any flavor in a curry. The currywurst and fries looked very appetizing at the neighboring table, but our experience in this restaurant discourages us from dining here again. The service is also very pleasant.

Nice atmosphere but we had to call the waitress three times just to take our order. She was rude as well. The food came out quickly and the Curry Wurst was good even tho it was a sausage with ketchup and curry powder sprinkled on top.
