Heuberger in Berlin

Very tasty schnitzel and cheese spaetzle with cream mushroom sauce. Nice, rustic tavern atmosphere. In summer you can sit outside nicely.

The Heuberger is certainly no longer an insider tip, because without a reservation it will be difficult to get a table despite the large dining room. And that's right, because great service, with particular attention to child-friendliness, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere come together here. The menu is home-style, the schnitzels and spaetzle are delicious and the prices are fair. Always welcome.

Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm and the Kaiserschmarrn was dry.

Had dinner here with a larger group for work. The service was great, drinks and food came quickly. Had the Maultaschen and they were simply fantastic. I'd love to come back.

The food was just okay for the price, the spaetzle was very salty, the salad was good and the goulash could have been a little bigger. It was extremely loud in the store, making it very difficult to have a conversation. We weren't asked whether we would like something more to drink throughout the evening.

High quality food, schnitzel with different breadings such as Bavarian (with sweet mustard) or with horseradish is highly recommended. The Kaiserschmarrn is also highly recommended, but be sure to share it with several people or order it as a single dish.

Very good address for German cuisine. The food was so good that unfortunately we could only take a photo of the children's plate. Onion roast, Wiener Schnitzer, goulash... all very tasty.

A very loud atmosphere, Food is OK. Veal schnitzel was very tough. When the wrong food arrived, you wanted to argue with the guests - that's not possible!

Outside it's a Bavarian beer garden, inside it's the intolerant Berlin snout with no heart: Why do you want to sit at the bar? No strollers, no cannabis consumption (do you even want guests???) -> not recommended, it's a shame

We had a nice evening with friends, everything was very tasty, despite there being a lot of guests, our food came quickly. The previous reservation was good, we wouldn't have been able to get a seat spontaneously - on a Monday evening.

All in all, a nice, cozy inn. The seasonal Oktoberfest beer is delicious and recommended. I also really liked the red wine goulash. We were always served quickly and didn't have to wait long. The only deduction is for the very high prices and the fact that they stand out as special

Relaxed Swabian/Bavarian restaurant with a beer garden. Some sheep, strollers with a beer garden are not welcome and it is therefore unattractive for young parents and the food is a bit expensive (6 euros for a side salad). Otherwise there is delicious beer and super nice service here!

It's a real shame, I usually enjoyed going here and the food was delicious and the portions were large. A few days ago I ordered a summer salad for just under 18 euros that was the size of a side salad. It wasn't dressed, there was just a bit of dressing on the side of the plate. I hope that changes again otherwise it's not value for money. Unfortunately my drink was also forgotten but it was also very busy.

A real insider tip, for me anyway... Landed here by chance and 100%, no, 120% 😉, satisfied! We had Viennese-style schnitzel with fried potatoes, Baden sausage salad, cheese spaetzle and a salad with feta. Everything really tasty and good! Beer was also great, nice young service and a rustic atmosphere. Gladly again!

Full pub, quick, friendly and competent service staff who will sometimes give you tips that are not profit-oriented. That's rare. Portions quite large, well presented and very tasty. Super. I was happy to be invited here by friends and will definitely come here without an invitation.

They are super busy and forgot our beer (which came with alcohol even if I ordered non-alcoholic) but it’s such a beautiful place that I didn’t mind ;)

The food was really delicious. Flädlesupp nice and strong and round, just a little small for the price. I would have liked a slightly larger bowl with a little more content. Because the parsley became too dominant. Onion roast is highly recommended, unfortunately my first one wasn't done to the degree I wanted it but that was fixed immediately. Homemade spaetzla according to taste, nice caramelized onions, very round. Unfortunately I had to look for some sauce, here at Schwoba it has to be Schwimma, as they say, that wasn't the case and charging an extra sauce at 4 euros 90 is a bit high for the little bit of sauce that came. It would have been 1 euro 90 for extra sauce but not 4 euros because sauce is not an appetizer. But it costs almost as much. As a Swabian restaurant, I would like to see something more Swabian when it comes to the sauce on the plate, or to offer the re-ordered sauce more cheaply. I would love to come back and eat again. My score is still at the top, I only had two or three small points of criticism. Ms. Heuberger for the extra sauce, the pricing policy might be worth reconsidering. As a real schwob, I say that it was hot gmundet was really legger just net goiza with Dr soß bidde 😂👍🏻 because what send Spätzla without sauce then the love stops uff 😂

At least there are two stars because the food at least tastes pretty good. Boycotting the store after my last visit though. I wanted to eat something there with the family and ordered. The drinks came quite quickly. However, after almost an hour we noticed that guests who had arrived much later had already received their food. When we brought this up, they had to admit to us that they had forgotten our food order. Since we didn't want to wait any longer for our food, we decided to eat somewhere else. They made us pay for the drinks and we left. So after an incident like that, I expect you to take over the drinks or issue a small voucher worth the drinks for a next visit. But nothing there! We won't do that to ourselves anymore! A pity

Unfortunately the reception was very unfriendly, but the other service staff were nice and good. Almost everyone in our group of eight was very happy with the food. Too bad you can't make a reservation outside!

That's Berlin. A corner pub like this is part of every neighborhood and is always well attended by sophisticated middle-aged people from the immediate area - a meeting place for the neighborhood - where visitors are always welcome. You don't expect a culinary explosion here, rather a hearty one, but you get the right basis for a lovely evening. The staff is always Berlin-Ur-friendly and completes the picture. I'm always happy to come back to you.

No beer garden on the “Red Island” A non-touristy restaurant in the middle of Berlin. And then a cocktail in the Jansen Bar...

Update 8/7/24: not only is this place excellent. It has got better. Great international crowd and they have a new Kellner whose service is FIRST CLASS. You don’t wait. You get your drinks. You pay. And it’s all with a smile and polite chit chat. This is more like it. Much more like it. Keep it up. Fantastic Zwiebel Kuchen and Federweißer in the Biergarten under the weak October sun. Couldn’t have hoped for a nicer afternoon. Go whilst the season remains!

Very comfortable sitting under the large linden tree. Food is tasty and value for money is good. Dogs are allowed and get water immediately! Great team and great atmosphere!

Unfortunately disappointing! I ordered a veal schnitzel with potato salad and couldn't eat it. The salad consisted mostly of oil. The schnitzel was unseasoned and tough. Way too expensive for the quality!!! Dessert and service was fine. It was the second and last time for us 4 people Almost €200

Unfortunately, the Heuberger situation developed negatively. They are also child-unfriendly and the service staff are not very guest-oriented. I used to enjoy coming here because the ambience and food were good. Now I find the service tiring and the price-performance ratio of the food no longer harmonious.

The food is great, but the best thing is actually the service. Always correct. You should definitely try the Bavarian schnitzel in a mustard crust, but we've already eaten our way through the entire menu; the salad and tarte flambée are also great here.

I've been waiting here for my food for 1.5 hours so I can't rate it. We had one way in advance Table reserved for 15 people.

Top service and top food in a cozy, rustic atmosphere. There were four of us, without a reservation. The staff took care of us quickly and organized seats, which wasn't easy with such a busy store. Starter: asparagus cream soup, very tasty Main course: veal schnitzel, thin breading, crispy. Meat as it should be. Dessert: Kaiserschmarren, nothing wrong with it. All in one a successful evening with great food. Would love to come back

It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the nice atmosphere, also the friendly service, and the very tasty rosé. Come more often now!

Today we tried it again for a long time. My personal conclusion: incomprehensibly inattentive and unfriendly, sometimes overwhelmed service with mediocre food quality. Nevertheless, the store is always packed. It's a shame about the beautiful garden.

We've been there several times and it's nice to sit in the garden. Last year in August I wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the schnitzel but it was okay. I was there again yesterday and the Swabian salad was significantly smaller than I remembered, in fact just potato salad with garnish and delicious Maultaschen, so the price/performance ratio doesn't really match, but at other tables I saw mountains of cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately, we were sitting at the service table, where people were constantly smoking, regardless of whether someone was there or not, the cigarettes remained lit in the ashtray in case things continued... This went on for 1.5 hours. Went in well at 10 p.m. (neighbors were loud) but couldn't order because no one showed up or it wasn't possible to contact us. The neighboring table with six strapping guys sitting with long faces in front of their empty glasses wasn't any more lucky either. When I went to order half an hour later, all the waiters were eating, of course they didn't want to disturb them. Numbers also took forever. But at least they were very nice.

The food is really great, as is the ambience. A beautiful beer garden. A lot of the older service staff, who showed a strange kind of hospitality, were really unpleasant. The stress really rubbed off on the guests. Somehow that doesn't fit with the rest.

As a woman alone, I wasn't allowed to sit down at a table of four of my choice at 5 p.m., even though 3/4 of the beer garden was empty - that wasn't exactly inviting, so I went to eat elsewhere.

Delicious, authentic food. If you are looking for Bavarian/Austrian cuisine in Berlin 😉 Nice, sociable, but also a bit loud (inside) when there is a lot of activity.

So the Heuberger was better, the friendliness of some of the employees leaves a lot to be desired. The portions of the fitness salad shouldn't be any smaller

It's a shame that an absolutely brash waiter ruined the evening. Instead of cheese spaetzle with pesto rosso, cheese spaetzle with herb-lemon pesto was served. You can actually tell by the color: red to green. Well, mistakes happen. But being insulted so stupidly after someone has pointed it out several times cannot be surpassed in terms of impudence. The cheeky treatment was then after the summit. It's a shame, the restaurant really had potential with hospitable and capable staff.

Home-style cuisine at fair prices. Particularly worthy of mention is the absolutely humorous, fast and hard-working service, which does a top job in its original, self-kidding, full-figured form.

If you like German cuisine, definitely come by. The service was very nice, I wanted fries and there were no... Very good! 😆 The Spatzle with a side dish was recommended to me, they are wonderful! If I come to Berlin again, I will recommend this place

We were here for the second time and can confirm the quality of the food from the first time! Okay, the schnitzel was a little bigger the first time, but we want to leave the church in the village 😁 We still got enough! Be super careful here with TIP SCAM. My manager (japanese-american) and i, we went to eat there and a guy (who was not serving us at all) ask for 19%tip after hearing her American accent. In Germany, tips are not mandatory and certainly not 19%. He also made some weird remarks about her being asian and all his ex-wifes being asian. The food was only ok. Won’t go back.

Finally cheese spaetzle again, only with real cheese and without sloppy sauce, wonderful, and a delicious porcini mushroom pesto on the side. I then had to try the Kaiserschmarrn, which was as classic as it was good. A successful evening with subsequent stomach-churning.

Angeboten wird schwäbische Küche, in der Küche stehen offensichtlich aber Personen, die die schwäbische Küche NICHT können. Wir waren gestern Mittag dort und hatten schwäbische Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat bestellt. Die zwei Maultaschen waren trocken gebraten und die viel zu großen Kartoffelstücke waren nur halb gar. Und darüber ein fettiges Senfdressing. Ganz selten so schlecht gegessenn. Schwäbisch können die nicht, sehr schade

Swabian cuisine is offered, but there are people in the kitchen who do NOT know Swabian cuisine. We were there yesterday at lunchtime and ordered Swabian Maultaschen with potato salad. The two Maultaschen were fried dry and the potato pieces, which were much too large, were half cooked. And a greasy mustard dressing on top. Very rarely eaten so badly. They can't speak Swabian, which is a shame.
