HOMEBURGERS in Aachen

I can't understand the bad reviews at all. Should they be competitors? We often eat there and it doesn't matter what we've eaten so far, it's always been fresh and very, very tasty. Unlike my husband, I was never a hamburger fan (I've tried a number of vegetarian or vegan burgers, but I didn't like them all) but after we went there with a deal, I'm now hooked. I always get the vegetarian burgers, they are sooo delicious. Also the pinsa, fries, the salads and the dessert. We tried everything and it was always delicious. Please don't be influenced by some complainers. If it wasn't so good, the store wouldn't be so full.

Went to Homeburgers with my partner, and honestly, it was a letdown for both of us. We ordered sweet potato fries, a vanilla milkshake, one Genosse burger, and one Kraftburger. The meat tasted off and not fresh, so bad I couldn’t even eat my burger and only finished the sweet fries. I told the waiter, but nothing was done about it. The staff was nice but slow. Overall, not worth it and super disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend. Interior design and the sweet potato fries were the only good points.

Really a great shop. Very tasty burgers & nice classic ambience! The waiting times are also short. The service was great, but unfortunately the owner seemed a bit unfriendly (2 stars). However, the mayo price of €1.90 is a disgrace. That should be changed.

Table reserved for December 25th. It was confirmed to us and then we're standing there in front of closed doors with two children 👎 Then don't confirm any reservations....No information about special opening times on your website or Google my Business

Some of the patties were very raw. Little taste. Side dishes were ok... Unfortunately the furniture was very worn. Table wasn't really clean. Glasses and cutlery weren't really clean either, very greasy. Service was friendly.. Something was forgotten when ordering, which can always happen! Was canceled - so everything is ok. Wouldn't eat there again

The burger place was very cozy, and the staff was friendly. The photos on the wall and the unique decoration are spectacular. The price was also reasonable. You have a variety of options with the ingredients.

The waiter was extremely rude. Even before everyone (there were six of us) had finished eating, he kept coming over and asking if he could clear the plates. After clearing them, he came back and told us that we had to leave as the table was reserved. However, there was no other group waiting for a table and the table definitely remained empty for the next 30 minutes. Even if it had been true, he should have informed us from the start how long we had - especially since our burgers were served very late. About the quality: mediocre. The patty had an intense meaty smell. You can definitely find better quality and prices for burgers in Aachen. Better stay away!

Very good place to eat a burger. The choice is vast, the cooking is impeccable, the setting is pleasant. Dish for small stomachs or very large ones (1 to 3 meats per burger)

The food wasn't outstanding. The burger tasted good, the portion was large. The service was nice, but slow and inattentive. The seats are offset and make a dingy impression. That's a shame, because the rest of the facility is very nicely done.

A very special place. You have the feeling of having landed in the past. The ambience is unique. The food is good too. The portions are so large that it is difficult to finish.

You can save yourself having to call to order and ask when you should come. They say you should be there in 10-15 minutes so that the food is still warm. And when you're there they say: "Yes, 10-15 minutes from when you get there" 😂 Doesn't make any sense at all. Incidentally, the waitress threw fistfuls of other customers' food who wanted to take away into the take-away boxes with her bare hands, without washing her hands... I thought something would come up.

Homeburgers actually offers super tasty burgers, but the service was terrible during my visit today. It is understandable that you have to wait if there is no table available, but the fact that a table is then given to people who have just entered the restaurant after you have already waited for over an hour and the staff had given it to you is really unbelievable . After the "hostile takeover" of the table, to then say: "Yes, I'll take care of it" and then do nothing is really an impertinence. Now I also ordered a takeaway menu. Point 1: I ordered a chicken burger. I got beef. Point 2: I ordered a 360g burger. I got 180g. Point 3: I ordered a salad with the menu. I didn't get one. Point 4: I paid for my order. I didn't get these. However, I only noticed this when I had already arrived home and was no longer able to complain about it due to time and effort reasons. All in one, delicious burgers and a nice restaurant, but terrible service. Update: the food is no longer good either. The veggie patties that were once from BeyondMeat are now an unreasonable vegetable mash with peas and corn. Service is still subpar. I won't come there anymore.

(Vegetarian) burgers and fries were good and plenty. However, we also ordered a salad, which unfortunately had some rotten leaves. This can happen at 30 degrees, and after pointing this out we were asked if we wanted a new salad. We declined because we no longer had any appetite for salad. After we paid, however, we realized that we were still being charged for the salad. We weren't given a bill when we paid, otherwise we would have noticed it by then. Overall, we remember the evening rather negatively.

I ordered a cheeseburger and there were individual hairs in it. Not recommended, very seductive in appearance

Had the vegan burger, which was soggy, with oily veggies that were definitely not freshly cut/prepared and a dry and tasteless brioche bun. Unexpectedly received 2 patties in the burger (even though I only ordered a regular). An overall disappointing experience

The ambience is a bit American Diner Like. The staff was absolutely friendly and up for any joke. There was even a free shot to say goodbye. The burgers also impressed me, they were very, very tasty.

If you are looking for "home made" burgers, this is the right place. Don't expect juicy pat.

Extraordinary recipe: Killer burger with fried dates and Gorgonzola... tastes good! What I liked best was that there was good music playing in the background.

Absolute recommendation, service and food are top. Personally, the Eifeler Landbier also tasted incredibly good, even if it came from a bottle and wasn't tapped.

I was there today, May 27th, 2024, to test the Grinsebacke Burger and I have to say it was great and I would highly recommend this restaurant, top service and first of all the ambience, I would even give it 10 stars. Keep it up

The store itself is an absolute highlight: there is something to discover everywhere. Be it photos of the guests or license plates from the USA. There is also a great selection of different burgers, sometimes different from the classics. The portions are really good, the cheeseburger tasted great and the staff was very attentive and friendly. If you are in Aachen and want a good burger, you are definitely in good hands here.

Very nice atmosphere - you immediately felt very comfortable. Had a murderer citizen - highly recommended as the taste was very unusual. And the team is super nice too. If I'm in Aachen again, I'll be happy to come back.

I enjoyed going to Homeburgers again. It's not just the ambience that tells you you're among friends, but also the attention to detail that you can experience throughout the store. Here someone has realized his dream that he lives every day. I don't know of any other restaurant where the boss delivers such joy and dedication to his customers. The food is unique and well balanced, the portion is almost too big for some people, the selection is so diverse that as a regular customer I often have to think about which burger it will be because I have a hard time deciding. Dear Erkan, thank you for THE burger shop that stands for taste and quality and is bursting with American flair, a little culinary vacation in our little imperial city. Absolute recommendation, almost a “just Aachen things you have to do”!!! See you next time.

Lack of stars due to service. Three different waiters served us, one brings drinks, another food, the third collects. When we wanted to pay, we didn't get an invoice with all the items and prices, but something like an invoice with the total price. It seemed to us that it was more expensive than we expected. In the end, we concluded that the bill was 2 euros higher, while they received another 2 euros in tips. What more are you going to do 😂👏🏼

Great burger, great atmosphere, great boss

it has awesome option on the menu. service doesnt seem to care at all if guest exist or not. food was quite bland.. tea was terrible. they have good proper material to make food but doesnt seem to know what tp do with it. maybe it was a bad day. used to be great a while ago :(

If there's one food I can and love ALWAYS eat, it's burgers. After a long and tiring day, with 9 hours of travel by public transport, my best friend and I arrived in Aachen at 10 p.m. and were very hungry. We called many burger restaurants, but none of them had hot food at this time. But then we came across this wonderful restaurant, and what can I say... I immediately loved it. Not only was the decor stylish and unique, but the waiter/owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly. Believe me, when I say I've eaten a lot of burgers in my life, I mean it. This burger in Aachen is BY FAR the best I have ever tried. Wow, I just can't put into words how much I felt when I took a bite of it for the first time... To top it all off, we also got two free shots :) I would come from Ulm to Aachen again just for this burger! 11/10

Cool diner styling with typical American decoration. You can really choose any burger in a vegetarian option with falafel. I've never found this at any other restaurant - brilliant. My burger “sweet goat” with falafel and goat cheese/walnut/honey was very tasty.

We had two super nice burgers, international and sancho pancho with some local beers. They offer a lot of variety options! Nice crispy fries (we had curly and french fries). The decor inside looks great! Would definitely recommend.

One of the first real burger restaurants in Aachen! Furnished in the style of an American diner with its own touch. The burgers are delicious, the cocktails are recommended! There are vegetarian and vegan alternatives to the burgers. Special requests have so far been implemented without any problems (if possible, of course). Service is sometimes (!) a bit slow, but if you're not in a hurry, you'll definitely enjoy Homeburgers. The prices are reasonable!

Nice vintage American Diner style burger place. Very tasty, I’ve missed the cheddar cheese, soft buns, a bit grease maybe, good prices and many different options. Good variety of sides, food and drinks. Not need for booking (more crowded during the weekend) Fast wifi available, cash or card payments.

The food itself was excellent! However, we were billed for 0.3l glasses as 0.5l. When we mentioned this, we were only told that it was already so bad and that there was nothing we could do about it. The service was also quite snappy and unfriendly on the subject. The innkeeper tried to explain the matter with two glasses which he filled himself. Unfortunately, he has confirmed himself as untrustworthy. It's a shame actually...

Optisch ausgefallen als auch schöne Inneneinrichtung. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm als auch gemütlich, zum Wohlfühlen. Die zuvorkommende, höflich als auch äußerst attraktive Kellnerin war bedient mit Herz. Gerne wieder absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Great food. Car themed cafe. Good vibes. Burgers had succulent meat. Only disappointment was that they didn't have chicken burgers when visited. Onion rings were tasty and crunchy. The spicy chicken wings were apt. Nachos had cheese sauce and jalapenos It would be better if it was baked with cheese. Go visit when in Aachen to have great burgers.

Leckere Burger, Beilagen & Cocktails zu (noch) moderaten Preisen. Vegane / vegetarische Optionen sind ebenfalls vorhanden✅. Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch wenn es im Lokal sehr voll ist, kommt das Essen zügig auf den Tisch! Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Auch gut geeignet, um hier mit einer ganzen Gruppen essen zu gehen. Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne hierher🍔.

Das Ambiente ist gut, gemütliche Plätze, der Stil passt, die Musik war allerdings sehr neu und hätte unserer Meinung nach besser an das Konzept angepasst werden können :) Burger und verschiedene Pommes waren wirklich sehr sehr lecker, nur ein klitze kleines bisschen fehlte noch, das gewisse Extra, vielleicht etwas mehr Würze am Fleisch oder Brötchen mit etwas mehr Biss (können es gar nicht genau benennen). Preise waren absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder! ;)

A standard burger place with good portions. The ambience is inspired by American Pop culture. Tables and menus are a bit greasy. Service is mediocre, but the food tastes good. The prices are average (15-20€ for a meal).

Die Burger sind spitze und klasse gewürzt. Die Süßkartoffeln sind knusprig bis zum letzten Stäbchen. Einfach saulecker!! Die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder zurück.
