Please inform others: When ordering via Lieferando and selecting self-pickup, the restaurant only begins preparing the food after you arrive. I understand that you want to keep the food fresh and hot, but it's really unfair to customers who have already waited, for example, 20 minutes and then still have to wait another 10 minutes. The app doesn't show this. If the restaurant isn't following the usual rules for self-pickup, it has a duty to clearly indicate this so customers know what to expect.

The fries are particularly noteworthy: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – simply perfect as an accompaniment to the burger. The atmosphere also completely won me over. The restaurant is modern, cozy, and invites you not only to grab a quick bite but also to linger and relax. You can tell that they place just as much importance on the ambiance as on good food. The only slight drawback is the location – unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit out of the way, so you might not just stumble upon it by chance. However, once you've been there, you'll gladly make the trip again. The prices are perfectly reasonable, although €2-3 less per dish would make the whole package truly perfect. In short: Absolutely delicious, great atmosphere, and fantastic fries! A clear recommendation for all burger fans – and a little-known gem that's well worth the detour! 🍔✨

The shop has a really lovely, rustic decor; the ambiance is only surpassed by the fantastic service (friendly, attentive, simply positive towards all guests); I also find the price-performance ratio very good.

We spent a weekend in Aachen to celebrate my birthday. So, the question arose: what to eat in the evening? I'd already noticed Homburgers while searching online. However, we weren't sure whether we wanted pizza or burgers. So, we set off and walked around the city for a bit. Then, there we were, standing in front of Homburgers... a not-so-subtle hint, perhaps a sign of fate, who knows? So, we went in. We immediately felt at home. Great diner, amazing service. I was briefly confused because I hadn't seen the pinsa on the menu. But no, they had burgers. What can I say? I was in seventh heaven. I definitely haven't had such good burgers in a long time, unless I make them myself! 😄 Homemade buns, superb meat, and unique burgers. Unfortunately, we don't live nearby. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thanks also for the delicious caramel vodka. It was absolutely delicious. Keep up the good work! We had a wonderful evening.

I created a Google account specifically for this review. But it's time to rate the services offered by restaurants, which now command a hefty price. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, as we didn't get any. After other guests who arrived after us had already finished their meals, the waitress noticed that ours hadn't been eaten. We were offered to order again after an hour, but I was no longer hungry and we had other appointments.

I can say that, for me, this is the best burger in Aachen. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Homeburgers in Aachen is an absolute must for anyone looking for a really good hamburger. The meat is perfectly prepared and the combination is surprisingly tasty. This is without a doubt one of the best burgers I have eaten in the region! The location is a bit less; Homeburgers is hidden in a back street that you are not likely to accidentally walk past. The shop itself is also quite small. They have tried to create something atmospheric, which they partly succeeded in doing, but it still lacks that bit of warmth or coziness to make it complete. But to be honest: if you come for the food, you are in the right place here. Definitely worth diving into that side street!

Wednesday: The food was okay, and the ambiance was okay. The only flaws were the service; it could have been better. The food order was taken, but then no one showed up for dessert, etc., or any more drinks. It was moderately busy.

The burger was one of the best I've had in a long time. The service is very friendly and relaxed. The atmosphere has a more American feel, and they play a lot of country music. I think the decor is great and very distinctive. I thought it was really great and has a lot of charm!

The owner, the kitchen, and the "home burger" team are fantastic. Hosts with heart and soul, and the quality of the food and drinks, and the atmosphere are outstanding. Well, Homeburgers used to be legendary. Best burger in Aachen. But last time (May 2025) we tried the new buffet, and I have to say it's a disgrace. The food was lukewarm, and when we spoke to them, they said, "Yes, you can heat it up in the microwave next to it." Excuse me?!? Then the plates and soup bowls were randomly thrown together like grandma's cupboard. And then they charged me €20 for the buffet. Sorry, but focus on decent burgers, or have a proper buffet and not this meaningless rubbish. It's reflected in how things are done: in the past, nothing was possible without a reservation, but today the place is only half full.

This is my favorite place in Aachen to eat delicious burgers. Fast service. Friendly staff. I always take the Womanizer with 2 Patties. For fries you can also order them with sweet potatoes. A treat. Nice decor. There is also a terrace to enjoy the good weather.

All you can eat for €24.50. They had hoped for more. The food was really not good and tasted like frozen food. The cola was the best. The food was cold and could have been warmed in a microwave. It felt like the food had been there since the store opened. More appearance than reality.

Burgers were well cooked and well seasoned. Our waitstaff were all polite and multilingual. The only thing that took off points was the overcrowded interior. Would definitely return.

So I've been there before to eat a burger with fries, that was really good, then I tried the buffet, unfortunately everything was cold, it would have been tasty if it hadn't been there for ages, the dessert from the buffet was already old and dried out, unfortunately inedible. You might think you're new to the buffet, but even then you might want to pay attention to freshness, you can't just leave everything there all day (probably). I really hope that things get better soon, but I won't be going there anymore.

Unfortunately I couldn't eat my citizen, the meat tasted like lamb or spoiled. It had a very strange smell. I am very disappointed with Homburgers, the worst burger I have eaten or left behind. It seemed to me as if the meat had been taken out of the freezer and sat in the fridge for 3 days before it was fried and served. My friends felt the same way: the citizen was partly eaten and then left standing. The table next to us also said it wasn't beef and had a very bad smell. Either the meat was old and bad or mixed with lamb/goat meat. The fries were dry. Otherwise nice shop, but no longer what it used to be. Never again ... No recommendation...

The first time I went to this place was in 2021 so this is a late review. This place is 10/10 their food is filling and REAL food. I can recommend their golden wings if you’re looking for protein, or if you just like wings, their burgers too of course depending on which you prefer, lastly, if you’re ordering a side? Choose standard fries or potato wedges, if you pick curly fries, it feels like less potato, just a friendly tip;) but check this place out, i’ve been more than 5 times.

The restaurant is very nicely decorated inside. We were there as a bachelorette party and we were given a very friendly welcome. The bride even got a free cocktail. The burgers were also very tasty. We would come back.

The burgers 10/10.5 stars!!! Butrr today (2/28/25), blonde waitress was in a damn bad mood!! We were immediately insulted because we politely asked her to wipe the dirty table. “I have the rag in my hand.” After this statement, the mood was already sinking. When the burgers arrived, my wife asked if she could take the empty plates (starter) with her. Then came the statement “I’m already there. You don’t have to explain to me how to do my job!”. Of course the mood changed and when we asked why she was insulting us, statements like “We should have sat down at a clean table.” and “We behaved strangely from the start.” Because of such “service staff”, the good owner will lose a lot of customers. Too bad.

Very rustic burger joint with authentic flair. The burger was juicy and the fries were crispy. Special requests regarding the design of the burgers are no problem. There is sports and music from the 70s. The service is very nice and on the ball. The rustic flair of the furnishings invites you to linger. I can only recommend it.

I can't understand the bad reviews at all. Should they be competitors? We often eat there and it doesn't matter what we've eaten so far, it's always been fresh and very, very tasty. Unlike my husband, I was never a hamburger fan (I've tried a number of vegetarian or vegan burgers, but I didn't like them all) but after we went there with a deal, I'm now hooked. I always get the vegetarian burgers, they are sooo delicious. Also the pinsa, fries, the salads and the dessert. We tried everything and it was always delicious. Please don't be influenced by some complainers. If it wasn't so good, the store wouldn't be so full.

Went to Homeburgers with my partner, and honestly, it was a letdown for both of us. We ordered sweet potato fries, a vanilla milkshake, one Genosse burger, and one Kraftburger. The meat tasted off and not fresh, so bad I couldn’t even eat my burger and only finished the sweet fries. I told the waiter, but nothing was done about it. The staff was nice but slow. Overall, not worth it and super disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend. Interior design and the sweet potato fries were the only good points.
