HOMEBURGERS in Aachen

A very special place. You have the feeling of having landed in the past. The ambience is unique. The food is good too. The portions are so large that it is difficult to finish.

You can save yourself having to call to order and ask when you should come. They say you should be there in 10-15 minutes so that the food is still warm. And when you're there they say: "Yes, 10-15 minutes from when you get there" 😂 Doesn't make any sense at all. Incidentally, the waitress threw fistfuls of other customers' food who wanted to take away into the take-away boxes with her bare hands, without washing her hands... I thought something would come up.

Many different burger variants. Very tasty fries. Delicious lemonades and milkshakes.

Homeburgers actually offers super tasty burgers, but the service was terrible during my visit today. It is understandable that you have to wait if there is no table available, but the fact that a table is then given to people who have just entered the restaurant after you have already waited for over an hour and the staff had given it to you is really unbelievable . After the "hostile takeover" of the table, to then say: "Yes, I'll take care of it" and then do nothing is really an impertinence. Now I also ordered a takeaway menu. Point 1: I ordered a chicken burger. I got beef. Point 2: I ordered a 360g burger. I got 180g. Point 3: I ordered a salad with the menu. I didn't get one. Point 4: I paid for my order. I didn't get these. However, I only noticed this when I had already arrived home and was no longer able to complain about it due to time and effort reasons. All in one, delicious burgers and a nice restaurant, but terrible service. Update: the food is no longer good either. The veggie patties that were once from BeyondMeat are now an unreasonable vegetable mash with peas and corn. Service is still subpar. I won't come there anymore.

Great local! I was skeptical at first because we were the only ones in the restaurant. But NO, it was brilliant!

(Vegetarian) burgers and fries were good and plenty. However, we also ordered a salad, which unfortunately had some rotten leaves. This can happen at 30 degrees, and after pointing this out we were asked if we wanted a new salad. We declined because we no longer had any appetite for salad. After we paid, however, we realized that we were still being charged for the salad. We weren't given a bill when we paid, otherwise we would have noticed it by then. Overall, we remember the evening rather negatively.

I ordered a cheeseburger and there were individual hairs in it. Not recommended, very seductive in appearance

Had the vegan burger, which was soggy, with oily veggies that were definitely not freshly cut/prepared and a dry and tasteless brioche bun. Unexpectedly received 2 patties in the burger (even though I only ordered a regular). An overall disappointing experience

The ambience is a bit American Diner Like. The staff was absolutely friendly and up for any joke. There was even a free shot to say goodbye. The burgers also impressed me, they were very, very tasty.

Absolute recommendation, service and food are top. Personally, the Eifeler Landbier also tasted incredibly good, even if it came from a bottle and wasn't tapped.

I was there today, May 27th, 2024, to test the Grinsebacke Burger and I have to say it was great and I would highly recommend this restaurant, top service and first of all the ambience, I would even give it 10 stars. Keep it up

The store itself is an absolute highlight: there is something to discover everywhere. Be it photos of the guests or license plates from the USA. There is also a great selection of different burgers, sometimes different from the classics. The portions are really good, the cheeseburger tasted great and the staff was very attentive and friendly. If you are in Aachen and want a good burger, you are definitely in good hands here.

Very nice atmosphere - you immediately felt very comfortable. Had a murderer citizen - highly recommended as the taste was very unusual. And the team is super nice too. If I'm in Aachen again, I'll be happy to come back.

I enjoyed going to Homeburgers again. It's not just the ambience that tells you you're among friends, but also the attention to detail that you can experience throughout the store. Here someone has realized his dream that he lives every day. I don't know of any other restaurant where the boss delivers such joy and dedication to his customers. The food is unique and well balanced, the portion is almost too big for some people, the selection is so diverse that as a regular customer I often have to think about which burger it will be because I have a hard time deciding. Dear Erkan, thank you for THE burger shop that stands for taste and quality and is bursting with American flair, a little culinary vacation in our little imperial city. Absolute recommendation, almost a “just Aachen things you have to do”!!! See you next time.

Lack of stars due to service. Three different waiters served us, one brings drinks, another food, the third collects. When we wanted to pay, we didn't get an invoice with all the items and prices, but something like an invoice with the total price. It seemed to us that it was more expensive than we expected. In the end, we concluded that the bill was 2 euros higher, while they received another 2 euros in tips. What more are you going to do 😂👏🏼

Great burger, great atmosphere, great boss

it has awesome option on the menu. service doesnt seem to care at all if guest exist or not. food was quite bland.. tea was terrible. they have good proper material to make food but doesnt seem to know what tp do with it. maybe it was a bad day. used to be great a while ago :(

The ambience is full of details and there is a lot to look at. And the burgers and sweet potato fries were delicious. Gladly again.

If there's one food I can and love ALWAYS eat, it's burgers. After a long and tiring day, with 9 hours of travel by public transport, my best friend and I arrived in Aachen at 10 p.m. and were very hungry. We called many burger restaurants, but none of them had hot food at this time. But then we came across this wonderful restaurant, and what can I say... I immediately loved it. Not only was the decor stylish and unique, but the waiter/owner of the restaurant was incredibly friendly. Believe me, when I say I've eaten a lot of burgers in my life, I mean it. This burger in Aachen is BY FAR the best I have ever tried. Wow, I just can't put into words how much I felt when I took a bite of it for the first time... To top it all off, we also got two free shots :) I would come from Ulm to Aachen again just for this burger! 11/10

Cool diner styling with typical American decoration. You can really choose any burger in a vegetarian option with falafel. I've never found this at any other restaurant - brilliant. My burger “sweet goat” with falafel and goat cheese/walnut/honey was very tasty.

Don't think about the calories, just order a delicious hamburger 😋

One of the first real burger restaurants in Aachen! Furnished in the style of an American diner with its own touch. The burgers are delicious, the cocktails are recommended! There are vegetarian and vegan alternatives to the burgers. Special requests have so far been implemented without any problems (if possible, of course). Service is sometimes (!) a bit slow, but if you're not in a hurry, you'll definitely enjoy Homeburgers. The prices are reasonable!

Nice vintage American Diner style burger place. Very tasty, I’ve missed the cheddar cheese, soft buns, a bit grease maybe, good prices and many different options. Good variety of sides, food and drinks. Not need for booking (more crowded during the weekend) Fast wifi available, cash or card payments.

The food itself was excellent! However, we were billed for 0.3l glasses as 0.5l. When we mentioned this, we were only told that it was already so bad and that there was nothing we could do about it. The service was also quite snappy and unfriendly on the subject. The innkeeper tried to explain the matter with two glasses which he filled himself. Unfortunately, he has confirmed himself as untrustworthy. It's a shame actually...

Optisch ausgefallen als auch schöne Inneneinrichtung. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm als auch gemütlich, zum Wohlfühlen. Die zuvorkommende, höflich als auch äußerst attraktive Kellnerin war bedient mit Herz. Gerne wieder absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Great food. Car themed cafe. Good vibes. Burgers had succulent meat. Only disappointment was that they didn't have chicken burgers when visited. Onion rings were tasty and crunchy. The spicy chicken wings were apt. Nachos had cheese sauce and jalapenos It would be better if it was baked with cheese. Go visit when in Aachen to have great burgers.

Leckere Burger, Beilagen & Cocktails zu (noch) moderaten Preisen. Vegane / vegetarische Optionen sind ebenfalls vorhanden✅. Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch wenn es im Lokal sehr voll ist, kommt das Essen zügig auf den Tisch! Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Auch gut geeignet, um hier mit einer ganzen Gruppen essen zu gehen. Ich komme immer wieder sehr gerne hierher🍔.

Sehr sympathisches Team, wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt! Das Ambiente ist gut, gemütliche Plätze, der Stil passt, die Musik war allerdings sehr neu und hätte unserer Meinung nach besser an das Konzept angepasst werden können :) Burger und verschiedene Pommes waren wirklich sehr sehr lecker, nur ein klitze kleines bisschen fehlte noch, das gewisse Extra, vielleicht etwas mehr Würze am Fleisch oder Brötchen mit etwas mehr Biss (können es gar nicht genau benennen). Preise waren absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder! ;)

A standard burger place with good portions. The ambience is inspired by American Pop culture. Tables and menus are a bit greasy. Service is mediocre, but the food tastes good. The prices are average (15-20€ for a meal).

Decided to try this place during our trip to Aachen based on the reviews and we were not disappointed, delicious cheeseburger.

Coole Location, wenn man auf Fifties und Motorsport steht. Recht bequeme Sitzecken. Schummerlicht ist passend. Etwas komplizierte Speisekarte. Service aber flott und freundlich. Bar- und Kartenzahlung möglich. Burger sind gut. Kann man hingehen 👍

Die Burger sind spitze und klasse gewürzt. Die Süßkartoffeln sind knusprig bis zum letzten Stäbchen. Einfach saulecker!! Die Cocktails sind ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder zurück.

Zuerst das Positive. Die Burger waren sehr gut. Für mich als Allergiker der größte Pluspunkt, dass die Burger auch ohne Buns serviert wurden. Der Service war leider ein wenig verpennt. Am Anfangen warteten wir 20 Minuten bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Nein, das Lokal war nicht vollbesetzt. Kann vorkommen. Jeder hat schon mal einen schlechten Tag. Die Biergläser haben keinen Eichstrich, sodass die Füllstände schon abenteuerlich voneinander abweichten. Kann man machen, ist aber nicht so dolle für den Gast. Auf die Nachfrage nach den Füllständen im Bierglas bekamen wir zur Antwort, dass der Chef das so will. Aha. Cocktails sind für mich persönlich eine Katatstrophe. Gewöhnungsbedürftige Rezepturen mit definitiv zu viel Zuckersirup. Also für die Burger 5 Sterne und für die Getränke einen wohlwollenden Stern. Insgesamt 3 Sterne für Speisen und Getränke. Service mit Luft nach oben 3 Sterne.

Sehr leckeres essen, in sehr schönem amerikanischen Ambiente. Das Personal war sehr nett und der burger sehr lecker, vorallem das zusammenstellen seines eigenen burgers ist wohl ein punkt den es nicht bei vielen anderen gibt. würde wieder dort essen gehen.

Ich hab mir die Burger liefern lassen und sie waren warm und unglaublich lecker. Total vollmundig, nicht zu viel Sauce, wirklich total zufrieden :)

Die Burger hier sind wirklich gut! Und wer nicht nur einen standard cheesburver Burger will sonder gerne auch mal rumexperimentiert findet hier einige gute Optionen auf dem Menü! Ich hatte einen Burger mit gegrilltem Apfel und Pfeffersoße und er hat fantastisch geschmeckt! Der Cocktail war fast etwas zu warm, hat aber sehr gut Geschmeckt. Die Mousse au chocolate als Dessert war auch sehr gelungen! Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich und das Ambiente war sehr angenehm uns hatte Charakter mit der Wand voll Polaroids von Gästen, angenehme Musik in gedämpfter Lautstärke und einer schönen Inneneinrichtung.

Wir haben am Wochenende Burger mit Beilagen über L bestellt. Darunter 2 x der vegetarische Mama Mia Burger mit Falaffel (je 12,50 €!). Gekommen sind dann aber leider keine Falaffelpatty sondern je eine Scheibe Haloumi. Saurer Kohl hat zwar zur Laune gepasst, war aber nicht lecker. Brötchen, Soße u Pommes waren allerdings gut. Die Schälchen aus Papier fand ich auch gut, sahen umweltfreundlich aus.

Très chouette resto pour un bon burger dans une ambiance rockabily... L'équipe est accueillante, parle suffisamment anglais pour que des clients francophones puissent commander (la carte existe aussi en anglais). Un grand choix de burgers avec la possibilité de choisir 1,2 ou 3 viandes. Le cadre est adapté au thème, sauf le programme tv (en boucle mais sans le son...). Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Die Luft ist sehr stickig und man riecht wie eine wandelnde Friteuse nach dem Besuch. Trotzdem der Laden nicht ansatzweise gefüllt war, haben wir über 40 Minuten auf 2 Burger gewartet, die dann auch anders als bestellt gebracht wurden.

It's a very decent American style burger restaurant with tasty burgers. The prices have gone up lately so I can't really call it cheap anymore, but it's still one of the better ones in Aachen.

Leckere Essen mit tollem Service

Ich hatte einen doppelten Cheeseburger ohne Brot, dazu Fritten und Mayo. Der Burger war gut gebraten, die Soßen einwandfrei. Der Hammer waren die Pommes. Sie waren auf den Punkt, kein bisschen weich oder so. Knackig und super frittiert. Respekt dafür. Der Primitivo kam leicht gekühlt an den Tisch, was ich sehr angenehm empfand. Die Bedienung war unaufdringlich und überaus freundlich. Und eine Shot aufs Haus gab es auch! Top und vielen Dank dafür!

Niet gereserveerd maar nog genoeg plek voor twee. Prijs/kwaliteit uitmuntend: echt heerlijk! Minpuntje: geen ijs in mijn cola. De burgers zijn een genot voor de smaakpapillen. Hier gaan we vaker eten!

It’s a quite mediocre place. In the pictures, the atmosphere seemed higher in historic American coziness, what turned out a little disappointing. Service was good. Checkups to see if I needed something more or if everything was alright. They really look out to one’s comfort. Food was….kind of bad? It was eatable, yet not very enjoyable. I ordered one of the veggie burgers. Found it a little acidic and the homemade burger-bread was kind of tearing apart alongside being a bit soggy/mushy. The sweet potato fries were good. The classic homemade limonade was tasty. Simple but very flavorful (I personally love strong lemon taste). Next time I’d just order without much ice.

Ich LIEBE das Essen hier. Es lohnt sich IMMER. Aber hier gehe ich nur essen, wenn ich RICHTIG viel Zeit habe. Wir waren hier essen vorletztes Wochenende, eine 6 köpfige Gruppe. Wir waren so ziemlich die ersten Gäste im Restaurant, allerdings haben mind. 3 kleine Gruppen aufgegessen, noch bevor unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde! Wir haben 2 Stunden gewartet um zu bestellen. Ich war schon ein paar Male dort essen und warten muss man immer, auch wenn dieses Ereignis sehr extrem war. Ich denke nicht, dass der kellner schuld war, denn Samstag morgens nur einen unerfahrenen kellner in den Laden zu stellen, ist Fehler des Managements. Wenn ihr Geduld und Zeit habt gönnt euch einen super leckeren Burger!!!
