Hindenburghütte in Reit im Winkl

We had a very nice evening at the Hindenburghütte. Service was super fast, the food met our expectations and the Berg Fexn created a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back again‼️

Wir waren zu viert beim Hüttenabend in der Hindenburghütte .Wir waren jetzt insgesamt das dritte Mal bei diesem schönen bayrischen Abend .Und wir waren wieder begeistert .Was die Familie Dirnhofer bietet ist einfach Klasse .Ein "Muss"für jeden ,der in Reit im Winkl oder Umgebung Urlaub macht .Wir würden ,wie abgemacht mit dem Shuttle Bus abgeholt ,haben sehr gut bayrisch gegessen .Die Location für so einen Abend einfach Klasse .Bedienung freundlich und schnell .Ja und zu dem Urgestein Günter und seine Bergfex'n brauch man nicht mehr viel sagen: Das war Spaß ,Unterhaltung erster Klasse .Danke für diesen tollen Abend 👍.Wir werden beim nächsten Reit im Winkl Urlaub wieder dort einkehren . Übrigens:Das ist nicht nur was für Ältere.Unsere Tochter(23jahre) +Schwiegersohn waren mit .Die Beiden waren auch völlig begeistert 😊

Hier kann man einen sehr netten Mittag verbringen. Sehr nette Location mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Leckere Speisen und eine sehr reichhaltige Speisekarte. Hier dürfte für jeden Gaumen etwas dabei sein.

After a snowshoe hike on the Hemmersuppenalm, we stopped at the Alpengasthof Hindenburghütte. Here you can expect a cool location with very friendly service and delicious food.

Good food, nice service and ambience. We were in winter. You can go up with a paid shuttle bus. Ideal and quiet starting point for winter hikes, tobogganing, cross-country skiing. Perfect if you don't do alpine skiing and definitely preferable to the overcrowded Winkelmoosalm.

We were there for the hut fun and then just like that. It couldn't be better. Hut fun was so great. Music, food, ambience couldn't be better. Günter is simply the best and his “band” is absolutely great. I haven't had this much fun in so long. Thanks. It was a great transition to my birthday. I can't put it into words. You are simply mega. So now I'm looking for an apartment and a job 🫶 I felt at home. Absolutely recommended and absolutely addictive

Cozy hut, very good food and very nice hosts.

Very nice place to relax and walk in both the snow and the sun at a warm 20° in summer. The hut evening in winter and early shopping in summer with live music are also wonderful.

The atmosphere in the cabin is rustic and inviting, with an open fireplace and a cozy, warm ambience that is perfect for a relaxing retreat after an active day in the snow. An absolute highlight in winter is the sleigh ride, which inspires many guests. From the Hindenburghütte you can take a 4 km long descent by sleigh, which offers lots of fun and thrills. The path down leads through picturesque winter landscapes and provides an unforgettable adrenaline rush. The sledges are available on site and are perfect for a descent.

This is exactly how a lowland Tyrolean imagines an alpine farm. Bavarian ambience meets personal charm and the culture of the mountains. GREAT FOOD.

Never again! Endless rip-offs. We each drank 2 beers and took 4 0.33 bottles with us. 40 euros and the beer was expired. It has zero flair.

There is always live music here on Sundays. When the weather is nice you can see as far as Lake Chiemsee. You either have to walk up or take a bus from the Hindenburghütte, which is closed to your own cars.

Rustic hut with a family atmosphere, just like it used to be. Really great. Nice brass music, refreshing drinks and tasty food. I had roast pork - just good!!!!. Beautiful hut with a cozy beer garden and authentic interior. Nice staff. Good draft beer and very tasty food. When the weather is good you have a view of Lake Chiemsee from the beer garden. The live music for the Sunday morning pint was TOP. Dog friendly host. Personally, the transfer by minibus was too expensive for me.

Were here for a cozy morning with music. Great ambience and great atmosphere. Really worth a visit, we used the bus because the climb is quite steep and we hadn't planned that. The bus transfer works perfectly. Clear recommendation to visit. Great view of Lake Chiemsee and the surrounding area.

Beautifully located hut Went up in the bus with Günter 2.5 hours of hiking, then stopping off. Very rustic and cozy, familiar. Good cuisine, daily changing menu The most original is the men's toilet (trombones). Take the bus straight back

Great hut that, despite its size, is still very familiar. Very nice cross-country ski trails and hiking trails and a great shuttle service (chargeable, but moderate!) from the Reit im Winkl tourist information office.

Very great mountain hut or alpine inn. Nice fast attentive service. Good selection of food and drinks.

Great restaurant for starting walks

We went to the hut evening. We expected more from the food. The staff tried hard. The restaurant was well filled and the “band” really got us in the mood.

Nothing special. I think €9 per person by bus is reasonable

We were looking forward to visiting this place again after 2 years. However, it wasn't at all as we remembered it. We were assigned our seats and were very cramped. The service was stressed, not particularly friendly and we had to ask several times whether we could place our order. The food was ok, but not outstanding. However, we were shocked at the prices. The poppy seed cake we were looking forward to was twice as expensive as it was two years ago, or the piece was only half as big for the same price. Everyone is probably aware that we have to expect price increases everywhere at the moment, but we found that outrageous. We looked at each other in disbelief when this small piece of cake for 4 euros was placed on the table in front of us. A pity. We've had much better experiences on our vacation.

We hiked about 6 km at an altitude of 1250 m and were then rewarded with a very good meal.

Very nice owners and staff. Food and drinks really good! The bus transfer works very well because it is very accommodating. We'll definitely be taking it to the snow paradise again!

I can't say anything about the food because we lost interest in it pretty quickly. Take the shuttle up for €17 per person (up and down, it would be crazy on foot). This cabin is one of the worst located cabins I have ever visited. You can forget the view. Look carefully at the pictures! When you sit in front of the hut you have a terrible view of rental skis, toboggans etc. Everyone goes through it too. Above the hut there is another small hut with drinks and sausages, where you can see a bit of Lake Chiemsee if there is a space available. Certainly nice for cross-country skiing. We took a walk, but just drove up again for that. No way. Card payment also not possible.

Very expensive prices, the food is ok and tasty, but not outstanding either. My Strammer Max and a cyclist cost €17 together.

Best excursion destination - great team and a great toboggan run! However, you should assess your ability. The transfer to the top with guys in a great mood who take the time to explain the route and the toboggan. Top food and great service! So everything in one - a wonderful day spent - that's how it should be. 👍🏻 Kind regards to the entire team of the 2 crazy people from Munich who rode the toboggan run a total of 3 times today :)

Gemütlicher Alpengasthof mit der verrücktesten Männertoilette überhaupt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen ordentlich. Die Spaghetti Bolognese auf dem Bild ist eine Kinderportion!

Urig und lecker - Essen kam schnell, kinder- und hundefreundlich, Schlittenverleih, schönste Natur…. Sehr schöner Ort !!

Urige Hütte mit freundlichem Service. Der Blick auf den Chiemsee ist gigantisch.

Die Hütte liegt schön und ist auch gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war gut, aber die Service-Damen waren sehr unfreundlich. In einem Barschen-Ton wurden uns Sitzplätze zugewiesen, unsere Teller wurden uns noch während des Essens fast weggeräumt. Wir sind zur Hütte hochgelaufen und haben den Bus Service nach unten genutzt, allerdings 9€ pro Person fand ich schon heftig.

Ein schöner Ort bei gutem Essen, frischem Bier, Sonnenschein und Livemusik. Hier kann man Kraft tanken.

Waren auf einem musikalischen Abend dort. Toller Gastgeber, super Stimmung.

Wir waren am Sonntag zur Musik , wollten nur eine Stunde bleiben, fuhren dann mit im letzten Bus nach unten. Tolle Stimmung . DANKE AN DEN GASTWIRT UND SEIN TEAM , DAS ES NOCH SOLCHE TRADITIONEN IN DEUTSCHLAND GIBT. BITTE WEITER SO . Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder , da ja sonst nicht viel los ist , wissen wir wenigstens das es auf der Hindenburghütte am Sonntag tolle Stimmung gibt . Wir planen diesmal mindestens 5 Stunden ein. Danke.

Super Hütte und noch bessere Gastfreundschaft mit Blick auf den Chiemsee. Außerdem sehr schöne Wanderrouten in der Umgebung. Das Essen und die Getränke waren spitze, vor allem zusammen mit der live Musik.

Tolles Restaurant auf ca. 1200 m Höhe. Als wir dort waren spielte eine Musikgruppe. War richtig gemütlich. Hoch laufen war für uns kein Thema. Wir fuhren mit dem Bus. Auf/Ab 16€ por Person. Rentiert sich allein schon wegen dem super Ausblick. Gerne wieder.

Perfekter Hüttenaufenthalt. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich super und die Bedienungen + Wirt sind der Wahnsinn. Von der Terasse aus sieht man den Chiemsee. Fast jeden Sonntag und oft Freitag Live Musik. Wir waren Freitag bei der Band Jonoi aus Reit im Winkl oben und es war ein super Lustiger Abend. Herrlicher Aufenthalt hier. Danke an Günter.

Die Hütte ist wirklich Perfekt. Super Essen und super nette Bedienungen. Es gibt sehr oft Live Musik, das kann man auf der Homepage super nachschauen. Wir haben Freitag Jonoi gehört und es war ein super lustiger und schöner Abend. Danke an alle und vorallem an den Wirt Günter. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Dass man so viel Geld für die Fahrt zur Hütte bezahlen muß, um auf der Hütte Umsatz machen zu können, finde ich total unangemessen.

Sehr schön gelegene Hütte, zum Laufen was für die Ausdauer, da es fast nur Bergaufwärts geht. An der Hütte selbst einen Chiemsee Blick, sonst aber rundherum wenig Aussicht. Preise für eine Hütte normal, Urig eingerichtet, schöne Terrasse. Es kann weitergewandert werden. Ein Punkt Anzug für den etwas hohen Transferpreis zum Parkplatz.

Rustikaler Berggasthof, zu Fuß und mit dem Busservice 🚌 zu erreichen. Leckere Schmankerl und gute Getränke, schöne Gaststube und Biergarten warten auf Ihren Besuch! Freundliche Bedienung!

Geniale Aussicht bis zum Chiemsee. Leckere Gerichte mit freundlichen bayrischen Service. Die Toiletten etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür entschädigt der Rest. Mit dem Fahrrad von Seegatterl anzufahren.

Die Abzocke fängt schon für Fußkranke bei der Busfahrt an Privatstrasse 4 KM für 20€ ! Da ist jede Seilbahn günstiger! Zur Hütte sehr schön mit sehr gutem Hütten Essen da kann man 5 * mit bestem Gewissen vergeben.

What a nice experience. We’ve been in a group of 12 people visiting the area. The staff was extremely friendly and we really enjoyed the food, the hospitality and the service. We also luged downhill, which was great fun and extremely safely organised. Thanks for everything!

Wir sind heute zum rodeln rauf - top organisiert mit den Shuttlebussen - mit dem Rodel die Superstrecke runter. Unten dann festgestellt, dass ich mein mein nagelneues Iphone samt Wallet irgendwo auf der Strecke verloren habe. Nach 2 Minuten kommt unten einer der Hemmersuppen-Jungs auf uns zu un fragt ob jmd sein Handy verloren hat. Der Kollege hat es durch Zufall auf der Strecke gesehen und uns runtergebracht. Heutzutage sicher nicht selbstverständlich. VIELEN DANK NOCHMAL AN DAS GEILE TEAM! Sind dann nochmal hoch - Essen war spitze, Service super, Bier frisch vom Fass. A Traum, merci! Freuen uns aufs nächsten mal!

Die Hütte bietet einen wirklich tollen Service, mit sehr leckerem Essen und Bier. Der Blick ist toll, man sieht durch den Walt auf den Chiemsee. Für alle, wie uns, die nicht noch den ganzen Weg zur Hütte hochlaufen wollen, gibt es einen Shuttle Service. Wir haben dann erst danach ab der Hütte die Wanderung gestartet. Wirklich empfehlen kann ich, neben dem Essen, auch besondere Biere zu probieren. Es ist sehr inspirierend zu sehen, wieviel unterschiedliche Biersorten zur Auswahl stehen und probiert werden können.

Eine wahnsinnig tolle, urige Hütte mit einem genial freundlichen und herzensnetten Hüttenbetreiber (Günter). Da macht es Spaß immer wieder einzukehren. Wir waren sonntagsmorgens zur Musik und donnerstagsabends zum Hüttenabend mit der Band Hausbänd dort und haben während beider Aufenthalte gleich drei total sympathische Paare kennengelernt! Das Essen ist verdammt lecker und das Bier mundet hervorragend! Der Schnaps ist natürlich auch nicht zu verachten. ;) Von dort oben lohnt sich eine Wanderung aufs Fellhorn. Wunderschöner Weg, tolle Aussicht vom Gipfel auf viele namhafte Berge und man kann Murmeltiere bestaunen! Wir kommen unter Garantie wieder, denn wie sagt man so schön: Ob Sommer oder Winter, am schönsten ist's beim Günter!

Druk terras lang gewacht op een drankje. Wij wilden spätzle bestellen die overal om ons heen werden geserveerd echter toen wij bestelden waren ze op. Toen maar zonder eten de bus naar het dorp terug genomen.

The food is excellent, service super and quick. 14 euros to go there and back is a bit too much. But as you cant park up at the Hut you have no other option. You can walk 2 hrs to get there and the same back.
