Zirbelstube in Reit im Winkl

We had an excellent meal and were greeted and served in a very friendly manner. The restaurant is authentic and the prices are reasonable. The next time we visit Reit im Winkel we will only eat in the Zirbelstube!

Anytime, again and again. A stop on vacation is a must for us. Even with a large dog we felt welcome there. Everyone is very nice, quick and it tastes really good!

Absolute recommendation. Sensationally delicious food. Good home cooking, but with a modern influence and everything is to the point. Really great restaurant. Insider tip: Leave room for the unbeatable Kaiserschmarn!

Great ambience! Finest woodwork inside with the most beautiful coffered ceiling I have ever seen. Extremely friendly service who always has a funny saying on their lips. The food is also an absolute dream. Great game dishes.

As a couple, we lived in one of the existing holiday apartments. This was modern and well equipped. Everything you need was there. If we didn't feel like cooking, we just went to the restaurant in the same building and placed our order. The food is super tasty and has a good price-performance ratio. It is definitely a very good recommendation, regardless of whether you are staying in the Zirbelstube or just eating there or of course both in combination. Clear recommendation from us. It wasn't the last time we were there either.

Fantastic! Great service, nice atmosphere and excellent food. The small but fine menu offers something for everyone. Traditional Bavarian dishes are a little “pimped up” and brought into modern times. Burgers, vegan and for the kids. Everyone will find something there. The dishes are beautifully prepared and of good quality. Special mention should be made of the side salad, delicious. Price/performance ratio is right, we will definitely come back and would definitely recommend it. The cuisine is consistently good, as we have been coming to Reit im Winkl twice a year for years, we can judge that. ----reserve definitely----

We have never been so warmly welcomed as in this location. The food was simply delicious, the service was more than friendly, almost familiar. We will definitely come back. And people with dogs can look forward to a loving environment. Absolutely worthy of 5 stars. Keep it up

In der wunderbaren, mit Kiefernholz beschlagenen Gaststube werden kreative und sehr schmackhafte regionale Gerichte serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, was auch durch kleinere Sprachbarrieren nicht eingeschränkt wird.

We were in the Zirbelstube with a larger group on New Year's Eve. Ambience, very good food and great service made this evening a perfect end to the year. Many thanks to the entire team. We would be happy to come back to you.

Brilliant, we've been here three times and have booked ourselves for dinner again the next few days. Everything tastes great here: From baked alpine cheese balls to fried goat cheese for vegetarians, onion roast from Alpine ox or venison cordon bleu for dad, or delicious fish for mom, there is something for everyone.

The food in the Zirbelstube was extremely tasty and left nothing to be desired. The service was very friendly and attentive, so you could feel completely comfortable. What is particularly positive is that there were no long waiting times, even though the restaurant was busy. Thank you very much for this great experience – I can recommend the Zirbelstube without reservation!

Restaurant atmosphere breathtaking! Onion roast completely missed. The name of the dish is based on fried onions and not balsamic onions. 30 euros is already hefty. There were 6 of us in total and all the dishes came lukewarm to cold. We had eaten everything and wouldn't have asked for a discount. An apology would have been great. The restaurant was hardly occupied. Train your staff a little, then it would have been enough for more stars. No offense.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal in einer Woche Dort. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen auch unser Hund durfte mit. Leider waren wir am zweiten Abend Komplett alleine im Lokal, was wir bei dem guten Essen sehr schade fanden! Es hat uns sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Vorallem Wildliebhaber kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Sowohl das Hirsch Cordon Bleu als auch die Rehpflanzerl waren super. Auch die Marillen Knödel sind zu empfehlen!

Very nice restaurant with good food. Despite the full house, we were given a place without prior notice. The service was quick and prompt. I think you pay attention to how many guests you can entertain. The burgers were very tasty. Unfortunately the schnitzel tasted burnt, even though it wasn't burnt. It was probably the fat.

The restaurant immediately impresses with its warm and cozy atmosphere. Ceilings, walls and furniture made of pine wood create a cozy environment, which is perfectly complemented by a beautiful tiled stove. The food is extremely tasty and the very friendly service makes the stay even more pleasant. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price/performance ratio, which rounds off the entire experience. A wonderful place to feel completely comfortable and eat well.

I come from Hamburg and we were on holiday in Reit im Winkl. Wi3 haven't eaten so well in a long time. Price performance absolutely top!!! The food was great. Best quality. The chef knows his craft. The service, the ambience are top class. Super friendly. Dogs are also welcome. By far the best restaurant for me. We'll definitely be back. Keep it up!

Fantastic food! Delicious mushrooms with a fantastic dip, very tasty cream of pumpkin soup. My husband ate Wiener Schnitzel, I ate wonderful chicken with grilled vegetables. These dishes made me believe that you can eat very good food in Germany 😉 For dessert, cafe affogato, which Italy would be proud of, and a very average strudel. The waitress was very nice and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere in the evening...

Our 2024 vacation in Zirbelstube was very disappointing. In the expensive holiday apartment with cobwebs in the corners in the dining area and in the sleeping area next to the left bed and on the right side there is still old laundry under the shelf. Unclean dark floor with dust and crumbs from previous guests, the sheets were dirty, the bed linen was old and crumpled, the pillows were full of stains. The curtains full of dust and the kitchen appliances greasy and still dirty. Balcony furniture and cushions in need of replacement. No comparison to previous years. Food was no longer as it was on the menu years ago, definitely our last vacation and meal in the Zirbelstube in Reit im Winkl

We have been going on vacation to Reit im Winkl for 7 years now and went to the Zirbelstube to eat very often during our stay (almost every day on vacation in 2023). We were always very satisfied with the latter. Price/performance was right and we always liked the atmosphere. However, when we arrived on vacation on June 30th. When we wanted to eat there in the evening, the service was so unfriendly and downright rude that we got up again and left the restaurant. We avoided the Zirbelstube for the rest of our vacation and will probably not eat there again on future vacations. We were very disappointed and would have liked to have had a different start to our vacation. Too bad.

We can absolutely recommend the Zirbelstube. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and authentic. We felt very comfortable. We ate deer cordon bleu and deer medallions. Both were excellent.

Went there for dinner, there was a smaller menu due to the end of the season, but there was something for everyone. The food came quickly and was very fresh and tasty. Bringing the dog wasn't a problem at all. We would love to come back

An authentically cozy restaurant with particularly delicious tasting specialties. We were able to enjoy the game platter, the deer shashlik and the bread dumplings. We were back in the Zirbelstube after a long time and were bitterly disappointed. The food, like everywhere else, is a bit more expensive but the quality is unfortunately very, very poor. It's a shame we were very disappointed. A very nice restaurant in terms of furnishings but food that is so bad in terms of taste and quality is not possible.

Excellent food (I had the venison shish kebab skewer, my wife had the liver), well prepared, wonderful ambience, very attentive service. Prices are high but appropriate for the overall experience. We will definitely come here more often.

Gute regionale Küche und flinke Bedienung. Für den 5. Stern fehlt einfach noch ein I-Tüpfelchen. Beim Burger langweilte mich die 0815 Barbecue Soße und zu den selbst gemachten Pommes (sehr lecker - Chips Style) passt alles besser als Ketchup. Die Semmelknödel waren sehr gut! Wir kommen gerne wieder im nächsten Urlaub und werden weitere Gerichte probieren.

Wer in Reit im Winkl ist, sollte hier gewesen sein. Weiterhin sehr gutes Niveau. Service angenehm freundlich. Geht auf die Gäste ein. Lob an die Küche!

Einfach nur mega. Die urige Einrichtung ist mit vielen Holzdetails liebevoll erstellt worden. Die schöne Beleuchtung rundet alles noch ab. Dies ist in unserer LED und Energiesparlampenwelt nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Die Karte ist nicht nur innen klein und fein sondern auch von außen sehr ansehnlich. Wir hatten den Jägerbraten und die Rollade. Beides war perfekt obwohl ich nur Eines essen durfte. Der Service war sehr freundlich und immer aufmerksam. Unser Hund war auch willkommen. Wir sehen uns wieder.
