Lovely place with a cozy fire. It gets busy around lunchtime but is much quieter afterward. The cakes are delicious, and prices are very reasonable and affordable. The only downside is that it’s cash-only.

We were a group of six, and three of us had extremely salty spinach dumplings. The staff only partially addressed the issues: they offered to prepare the remaining portions again, but one portion was already finished because we were very hungry, and they didn't consider simple adjustments (e.g., adding cream). They offered only a brief apology, no compensation, and no price reduction. After the meal, we were thirsty and had an unpleasant feeling in our mouths. It's a shame; the way they handled the problems wasn't customer-friendly.

The Railway Conspiracy...a lighthearted comedy that, despite the dialect, even out-of-towners (from the Rhineland and southern Lower Saxony) could easily understand. The amateur actors performed like professionals. You could eat beforehand, with generous portions at reasonable prices, and you could order more drinks during the two intermissions. It was a very funny and enjoyable evening, and I highly recommend it to anyone vacationing in Reit im Winkl and the surrounding area.

Very good restaurant with a varied menu and plenty of choices. The restaurant is modern with a Bavarian atmosphere.

A truly wonderful, small, and charming restaurant. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was superb! Everything was freshly prepared and an absolute culinary delight! In the summer, getting a table can be a bit of a challenge, but it's worth arriving early or trying several times. Personally, I love that they don't take reservations, so you're not constantly rushed to finish because someone else needs your table. This way, you can enjoy your evening in peace. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back! 🫶🏻
