Best pea soup ever😋. Very reasonable prices and a beautiful view. Delicious dishes for a small appetite.

The Railway Conspiracy...a lighthearted comedy that, despite the dialect, even out-of-towners (from the Rhineland and southern Lower Saxony) could easily understand. The amateur actors performed like professionals. You could eat beforehand, with generous portions at reasonable prices, and you could order more drinks during the two intermissions. It was a very funny and enjoyable evening, and I highly recommend it to anyone vacationing in Reit im Winkl and the surrounding area.

Great little restaurant and definitely recommended! I had the herring with fried potatoes, and my boyfriend had the chef's schnitzel with mushrooms and baked with cheese. Both were delicious! The food was freshly prepared (the schnitzel was freshly pounded) and lovingly served. The owner and the entire staff are super friendly. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Reit im Winkl :) And of course, we were allowed to bring our dogs into the restaurant.

We were at the Dorfstadl again today. It's a MUST when you're in Reit im Winkl. No matter the dish, it's prepared with love. Fresh and high-quality food. The warmth and comfort are unbeatable.
