Herzogstubn in Erding

Super friendly and welcoming staff. All very young and incredibly efficient, as they say. We were in Erding for a weekend trip and ate dinner here. All our dishes were delicious and arrived incredibly quickly.

The Munich schnitzel with fried potatoes was delicious, almost outstanding. 😋 You get two pieces for a reasonable price. In contrast, the Wiener schnitzel with fries during the Erdinger Festive Days was...well, okay. Kudos also to the friendly and prompt service. The beer garden was packed, and the girls were stressed, but they handled it brilliantly. 👍 I'd be happy to go back anytime. And you're allowed to smoke, which is (unfortunately) important to me too. ☺️

Been there twice, both times a perfect experience! Delicious food, lovely outdoor area in a generally beautiful old town center. But what makes the visit outstanding every time is the great service: witty, friendly, cheeky, fast, and very attentive: simply perfect! For that alone, I'd happily return 😉

I always eat my roast beef with onions and have never had a complaint! The service and the "staff" (the entire team) are simply top-notch!

The drinks menu is very good and well-organized. There's a good selection of cocktails. The actual food selection on the original menu is manageable and could be expanded. I really expected more and better. An additional menu for chanterelle mushrooms is standard. We'd happily come back for a cocktail. As for the food, we were rather disappointed with the schnitzel. The breading on the Munich schnitzel was terrible.

The service was first-class – our requests were addressed promptly and with great friendliness. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and a true highlight in terms of taste. The attentive and warm service deserves special mention, which made the visit something special. The location is also ideal and contributes to the overall harmonious atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The ambiance and service were good. Unfortunately, the food left something to be desired. The fries, in my opinion, weren't freshly made. Perhaps that was because we arrived just before 2:00. The schnitzel and the cream sauce we had were barely seasoned, so only 3 stars for the food.

I had the Backhädnl salad, which was quite okay. Unfortunately, I was only expecting a genuine Bavarian dish, not a 4-kilo-battered chicken. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. What bothers me personally is that the prices for the food are just about reasonable, but charging 4.90 for a 0.4-liter Spezi is outrageous. The portions are rather small, and unfortunately, no one at our table was satisfied.

Sensational Kaiserschmarren! The waiter, who was also very on the ball, described the house's Kaiserschmarren as "the best in the world." I wanted to test it out, so I ordered it as my main course. And, what can I say, the waiter was right!! If I'm ever in Erding again, I'll definitely eat at the Herzogstuben!

We ate there today (schnitzel day). The schnitzels were all outstanding! The waitresses are so on the ball and extremely friendly! We would go there again and again and can only warmly recommend it! I had the Tesiner Schnitzel, the children had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Champion Rahm Schnitzel.

“Aunt Google” brought us here and we were not disappointed! Very tasty food (beef slices with fried potatoes, onions and red wine sauce) really more than recommended! The ambience has a feel-good character. The employees are all very courteous and friendly. We would love to come back.

Although I explicitly mentioned that I was pregnant when ordering, a dish with white wine was served without any notice or information on the menu. The employee preferred to discuss the fact that the wine was overcooked (but it would have to have been cooked for at least 3 hours for that to happen!) rather than apologize for this intolerable mistake. Only the colleague who was not responsible apologized in a friendly and understanding manner. Nevertheless, the dish was still calculated. Absolute no go!

The Herzogstubn in Erding - the best example of Bavarian hospitality - I visit Erding from Switzerland several times a year. A must every time and my favorite restaurant in Erding. Even entering the restaurant is super hospitable - even if I eat alone I feel super comfortable. Very nice welcome for ALL guests - whether young, old, local or tourist everyone is welcome and warmly greeted. Really very nice and courteous staff. The food is fresh, regional and creative and the quantities are rather large by Swiss standards. Nobody goes home hungry. Everything is recommended - but spareribs are certainly a special recommendation and the Kaiser Schmarn for dessert - freshly prepared and great. Even if you have almost no space left, be sure to order. If you don't like it anymore, it can be packed up for home. Ah yes and Wednesday is schnitzel day - creative schnitzel dishes at fair prices and top quality. And definitely order a fine Erdinger Weissbier or Erdinger Brauhaus or a seasonal Erdinger beer specialty with your meal. Simply great. I can highly recommend an Erdinger Pikantus for an aperitif. The Gaststibr is filled with music - top music from everything. A little louder and more dimmed light at a later hour - then a more relaxed atmosphere and more of a bar business - but if you eat late, you will be asked if it's okay with the light and Music. Overall, a great atmosphere and beautiful decorations adapted to the season. It would be great if there was a place like this in Switzerland - I would be a regular 🥰

On our last evening in Bavaria we chose this restaurant in Erding. We can only agree with the good reviews. We had the spareribs, the beer goulash and finally the Kaiserschmarrn - everything was excellent. I even loved the side salad. You can tell the care from the kitchen. :) The portions are large, the prices are justified. The service is warm, very attentive and courteous. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Happened ~2 years ago but my review was removed. So here I put it a little better, but with the old prices before inflation: As a naive guest, I was unfortunately misguided and had to pay €3.90 more than I thought. I said yes when the waitress asked me if I would like a small salad with my lunch dish. I thought that was part of the daily menu. In other restaurants there is usually always a salad or soup for lunch. Should pay €7.90 + €1.90 according to the daily menu. I didn't see the normal menu at all. In the end I paid €13.70. Always look at the menu first before you say yes or ask for the price. Otherwise the food was good.

Everything is just perfect! Super nice and fast, competent service. Very tasty food and decent portions for a reasonable price. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Wednesday is schnitzel day! Ok, for 14.90 you can try out the somewhat expensive restaurant! Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle. Unfortunately the sauce was very bland. The taste of the mushrooms was weak. All in all, this meal doesn't convince me to try the other expensive dishes.

There were nine of us and we had booked a table. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, I had the old Bavarian venison ragout. Just great, we had lava cake for dessert 🤤.

All in all just wow!!! This is how you imagine a restaurant. Very cozy, great ambience, absolutely great service and simply delicious food. We had the onion roast and the daily menu of loin with mushroom cream sauce and spaetzle. Everything was just great!!! Please keep it up!!! If we are nearby we will definitely come back!!!!

A very nice restaurant in the city centre. The wooden furniture and the combination between ancient and modern interior design give very cosy atmosphere of the place. The staff is polite and welcoming, the cuisine is very good! The menu offers both vegetarian and meat dishes. The price/quality ratio is excellent. The porrions are extremely big, but fair enough for hungry people. I'd recommend the spare ribs and the wiener schnitzel with veal. The potato salad was the weak part here, it had somehow "leftover" taste and was different from the ones we've already tried in the region. Apart from this, everything was siply fine! The beer and the coffee were top! Thank you for your hospitality!

Erster Besuch war Klasse, hoffentlich bleibt das so. 😍 Edit: Muss meine Bewertung leider ändern. Der erste und zweite Besuch war klasse. Die ca. 3-4 Besuche danach eher nicht. Die Bedienungen sind teilweise gelangweilt von den Kunden, auf Fragen bezüglich der Karte wird gar nicht eingegangen. Das Essen ist überteuert und wird dem Preis nicht gerecht. Kann ich Zuhause 1000 Mal besser. Schade, war gerne hier.

At the start of school - as on many other occasions before - we were guests again in the Herzogstubn. The service and food were perfect as always! They lovingly looked after our well-being - as well as that of our children. Each of our chosen dishes was excellently prepared. Particularly noteworthy is the new paint in the interior, which was carefully and lovingly selected in terms of color and thus gives the entire ambience a cozy and elegant, cozy flair. All in all, it was once again a great pleasure for us to be guests in the Herzogstubn. Thank you for that.

We were in Erding on business and were looking for an inn and became aware of the “Herzogstubn” because of the beautiful, inviting ambience in the outdoor seating area. As soon as we sat down we were served in an extremely friendly manner. We also received a detailed answer to a question regarding the differences between two pieces of meat on offer. That was an A with * for service. The meat was cooked to perfection and you can taste the freshness and quality. Card payment wasn't a problem either. All in all, we were super satisfied and will definitely come back if we are in the area for business.

A really nice place to eat... sitting outside in the summer with the best food and nice beer... the service is super friendly... you didn't have to wait long for the food and it was really delicious... Highly recommended... Price performance definitely appropriate...
