I was here a few days ago with friends and my partner. The staff were friendly and took our order in English, which was great! Regarding the food (Hemp Schnitzel and Bavarian cordon Blue) and beverages, were tasty and generous, but a little expensive. However, was a good experience.

Very good bar-restaurant. The team is pleasant, we feel the place is friendly and local, without being inhospitable for passing travelers. Beers and fries are at market prices, and naturally very good. I recommend for a quiet atmosphere, a little evening discussion with friends or a little city breathing, because the place is calm, then once you emerge you are taken back into the tumult of Sendlinger Tor.

Friday afternoon 4:00 p.m. Apparently only one person is there to serve. But he's more busy behind the counter with the women sitting at the counter. Several times people leave because he doesn't come outside. Very bad service today.

Oh yes, that was an excellent schnitzel. Tender, juicy, delicious. I can recommend the “Munichner” with a mustard-horseradish marinade and the cranberry jelly. Fits really well! The fried potatoes are not fried to death in fat, but still have a typical roasted potato aroma. Accompanied by a draft wheat beer. If I had expected two schnitzels to be served as "normMAHL", I probably should have taken the smaller portion. So the snap was well justified in the end ;) Price and performance are top!

Very good food, fast service and nice environment

Service was horrible. The man with dark hair and beard was so rude and a girl with dark hair was not friendly. Although the food was nice, personnel just ruined all impression…

We were guests in Munich for a week and at the end we visited the HeimWerk restaurant in Munich to have lunch there. When we entered the restaurant, one positive thing immediately struck us. It is a restaurant with an original Bavarian flair. We then occupied a table and a super nice waitress called Hannah came. She was a very friendly, neat waitress who immediately took care of our needs. We didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered. It was served to us by the nice waitress Hannah. Even during the meal she still made sure we were satisfied. All in all, we can give full marks as a review for all details of the restaurant. This restaurant is highly recommended and we will visit it again next year and hope that we will be served again by the nice waitress Hannah. Kind regards from Harsewinkel 💕

Very bad service, not polite nor friendly at all. Probably the waiters had a bad night, but I don't understand why being mean with the clients. Never again.

Unfreundlicher Empfang, wurden gleich neben der Tür platziert, obwohl noch viel Platz war und nicht alle Tische reserviert waren. Die Speisen waren geradeso essbar, das Hühnchen in irgendeiner Pflanzenkruste war verkocht und pappig. Selbst die nicht schwer herzustellenden Kässpätzle haben sie nicht geschmackvoll in die Schüssel bekommen. Lediglich das Bier haben Sie hinbekommen.

The schnitzel and cordeun bleu were great. Unfortunately the service was quite understaffed so everything took quite a long time. We'll still come back because of the good food. It's nice to sit outside

Good food, nice attentive service

I was there to try the vegetarian schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn. The zucchini schnitzel (breaded zucchini slices) was very good. The celery schnitzel wasn't that great. There was some cream (or something similar) between the celery and breading, which wasn't great. The sweet potato fries were delicious. I was looking forward to the Kaiserschmarrn because it is also available here with cherries or Nutella. I decided on cherries. The cherry preparation was also quite good, but unfortunately the Kaiserschmarrn itself wasn't the best :(.

Quality doesn't match the price. If you spend just under €50 per person for a main course + drinks + dessert, then I expect quality that is appropriate for the price. But that wasn't the case. The schnitzel was very thin and had almost no taste of its own, you could only taste the breading, which was quite mushy. The fried potatoes also left a lot to be desired in terms of taste. Portions generally quite small. The dessert was okay. Service was nice and motivated. Won't come anymore.

Pretzel was delicious. Had a few vegetarian options. Tried the zucchini schnitzel, was pretty good but not amazing. Good vibes.

Really cool. After a day of running around, my vegetarian friend simply agreed to go to this restaurant (don't feel like looking any longer) and settled on fries. But nothing there, menu filled with delicious sounding vegetarian dishes. We ordered several “snack” portions. Simply to try out more, including cheese spaetzle, mushroom schnitzel, fries, chili schnitzel and of course 2 measures of Augustiner. To make it Short, we are thrilled. Really delicious (fast food) food that is fun in its variations. Successful snack while exploring the Munich area. Absolutely recommended!

The food is good in general. We ordered 4 main dishes, potato salad and sweet potato side. The potato salad is the best. I also recommend the sweet potato and the mountain cheese burger. The mountain burger has a unique tasty sauce. The Germain noodles is also good (like mac and cheese with fried onion garnish).

Viktoria should get a raise, she makes the best mojito and is just super likeable so give her more money!!!

Closed one hour before what was written in google maps

We spontaneously went there for dinner. The dishes were very well prepared and very tasty. We once had the Bavarian Cordon Bleu with homemade Obazda and Black Forest ham, with potato salad and classics Schnitzel burger with Black Forest fries. The combination was simply a great taste experience. We would be happy to come back here next time we visit Munich.

Durch Zufall kamen wir hier vorbei und da es draussen so gemütlich aussah nahmen wir Platz. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich von Sarah bedient. Unsere Schnitzel mit Pommes bzw. Bratkartoffeln waren sehr lecker.

Gezellige tafels zowel binnen als buiten. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, eten werd snel gebracht. Eten was prima van smaak, fijn is dat je een snack size kunt kiezen of een grotere portie. Prijslijst is prima. Fijne ervaring 😀

Characteristic restaurant with a wide choice of traditional dishes. The main dish is the schnitzel. The dishes are very rich but good as long as you take a nice walk after dinner.

Great schnitzel selection at a (barely) fair price in another franchise system. The guests from the USA were thrilled that they could order beer in a beer mug. The meat is from species-appropriate husbandry (but no further explanation is given as to what that means and where it comes from). The design and principle are similar to Hans Im Glück. Sitting comfortably for too long can become tiring because there are only benches without backrests. Service was really tremendous. Friendly even though the cellars had to run out to the gallery the whole time and seemed a bit understaffed. The schnitzels were all super tasty. Also the vegan versions. The honey mustard sauce with the side salad was too sweet and the sweet potato fries were also very tasty. All in all, happy again.

Completely overpriced. Two slices of fried eggplant without any side dish or sauce for 13.50 :p Munich is expensive, of course. The rent for the location is certainly not cheap either. But that's pretty cheeky. The vegan corn schnitzel also just 2 fried rags without anything for 13.50. Nooo thanks. There are SIGNIFICANTLY better alternatives in every direction

The snack portion idea is great

The menu leaves nothing to be desired. The location is also great! However, we were a bit disappointed with the portion size. The price/performance ratio is simply not right. Also, my schnitzel was lukewarm...

This restaurant markets itself as a schnitzel specialist so I had to give it a try. The interior ambience was nice and the waiter was very kind, but I experienced numerous issues. Firstly, service was far too slow. I waited quite long until the waiter came to take my order, and waited another 1 hour until the food arrived on our table. To my disappointment, the food was not really worth the wait. The overall flavour profile of the schnitzels was actually good, but the meat was too dry and the breading was very greasy. The portion size was very small too. We (2 people) ordered 2 schnitzel types, both normal size, and 1 side dish and spent 44,50 euros for those. For that price we weren't satisfied in terms of both portion size and quality, and considering the slow service: overpriced. One plus point: the water was free, which is very rare in Germany. Final verdict, I don't think I will come back.

Ambience is good. We were there, but unfortunately the service couldn't tell me about any vegan flour. Vegan fries? - we didn't know until now. We had burgers and schnitzel. Unfortunately you had to look for the beef in the bun. 2/3 beef 1/3 rest is interpreted differently here. The schnitzels were also much too small; we would have been full if we had eaten the large side dish. But we ordered schnitzel with fries and not fries with schnitzel.

Wir waren zu erste mal im Restaurant und fühlten uns gut. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, das Essen gut. Preisleistung, na ja was ist heute nicht teuer. Ambiente war gut nur.

Unfortunately, price-performance is not right at all! Portion size (maximum child size) for the veal schnitzel is absolutely not appropriate 19 euros (EXCLUSIVE side dish, which is also included, ketchup is also charged). The service was also super impersonal, not once had eye contact, and even though you gave a 10 percent tip, there was no “thank you” or farewell. Colleagues who want to pay cashless are offered a Qr code in the middle that directs them to an online payment system. It doesn't work well there and takes an awfully long time.

Very tasty sweet potato fries and schnitzel burgers

Stopped in an hour before closing time on a Saturday. There were plenty of empty tables. After waiting in vain for a few minutes in the waiting area at the entrance for an usher, we sat down independently at one of the many empty tables. A very nice female waiter was just about to take our order when a male colleague (presumably the manager) whistled back at the lady in an impossible tone. A few minutes later he came and wanted us to go back to the waiting area to get seated again. Pure harassment and very unfriendly. I feel very sorry for the employees. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

Super rude owner. After we waited in vain for 4 minutes for the reception and then sat down at the next table to wait, he kicked us out after another 15 minutes of waiting, telling us we should have waited at the reception. And in a way that can be clarified more politely and solved more elegantly. And the way he treats employees doesn't seem to be characterized by mutual respect. P.S. No, the table was not reserved or taken, there were actually many tables still free. The owner or managing director was only interested in making a “statement” and making an announcement.

Nice location with a pleasant atmosphere. Food was very good and was delivered quickly. The staff has always been friendly, but it would be nice to see them more often. Wanting to order something can take a few minutes until you have someone at your seat.

We were there spontaneously and even though we hadn't made a reservation, we still got a place. The food came quickly, within 15 minutes. We found it particularly cool that we could pay directly at the table using a QR code there. Once you scanned it, you saw the positions of the table and were able to pay for everything straight away using ApplePay. Splitting the bill would have worked too. And you could also give tips. I'm happy that this restaurant is moving with the times and thanks again for the delicious food :)

Disgraceful behavior from the waiter. Late in the evening, after no one showed us to a table and a waitress nodded at us, we looked for a place to have a drink. After being ignored for 15 minutes, a waiter tried to take our order when another waiter dragged her away! He said to us that we had sat down without permission and had to “get in line” - even though no one was in line when we arrived (a good hour before closing time). Sad behavior of this waiter towards his colleague and us. That was the last time at home

Sehr guter Service, keine Wartezeit. Bei betreten des Lokals kommt sofort ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter kontrolliert die Reservierung und hat die Speisekarten schon dabei. Wenn man schon weiß was man trinken möchte wird die Bestellung gleich aufgenommen und man kann dann in Ruhe die Speisekarte lesen. Alles zusammen ein sehr schöner Abend.

€15-18 for two schnitzel and absolutely nothing else - additional €5 for chips. Felt a bit ridiculous. The water is free at least. For that kind of money I’d like if they at least opened the upstairs on weekdays

The food was very tasty. The seating in the restaurant is sometimes suboptimal. We had to sit on stools without backrests, 2 of us on a wooden bench with no padding. There was also an employee on site who unfortunately obviously didn't feel like working... the dishes were cleared away very loudly and placed on our table because we asked her for cutlery. A pity!

Cozy restaurant in a practical location at Sendlinger Tor. It's cool that there are so many vegan options here 😍 the corn schnitzel is good, but the celery schnitzel is my absolute favorite. And I could indulge in the Kaiserschmarrn.

I've been coming here regularly for a few weeks and have to say: great shop, delicious food. Everyone gets their money's worth here; regardless of whether you are a schnitzel lover or a vegan. The team is super motivated, super friendly, fast and always courteous. If there were any problems (it happened once), it was fixed immediately :) The ambience on the two levels is very cozy with the dark wooden paneling. In the evening during the week you might be lucky to get a seat right away without a reservation. On weekends you should definitely reserve in advance. I really enjoy coming here.

I've been here several times for food and drinks. The selection is good and extensive and there is something for everyone. We thought it was particularly great that you can order everything as a snack portion, so you can try everything. The service was super friendly and attentive. :) I liked the salad with goat cheese best. We will be back definitely!

One of the best pubs in recent years. The food and beer were excellent, I didn't drink a cocktail myself, my clothing was thrilled. The staff is professional and very friendly. This is happening more and more rarely. Overall, very pleasant relaxed atmosphere. I'll be back.

HYGIENE! There was a time when I liked eating here, but now I don't. When I was walking near the restaurant after they closed, I saw maus all over the place. My potato or schnitzel would certainly have been tearable if I had shared them with a mouse. In addition, the restaurant's staff cache me recording it. In response, they told me: what are you recording, they are just animals that need to be fed.

Good food and lots of choice. Especially vegan and vegetarian. What I think is very good is that you can choose your own side dishes, although it is a little more expensive but it is exactly what you want and the quality is great. Drinks and service are great, I'll be happy to come back for that. Finally, a gin basil smash rounded off the evening. See you next time!

Food and service was top! I was there with my dogs and were immediately given a water bowl. Everything I ordered was delicious and every last bite was eaten. I can only recommend.

The food was very expensive and there wasn't much of it. The waiter didn't explain the dishes or the side dishes well to us. They charged us almost 10 euros for a bottle of water and when we left we realized it was free. Some textbook cheaters.

Unfortunately overpriced and the food was very mixed. We were there twice: On the first visit we had schnitzel with fried potatoes. Schnitzel (veal) delicious, fried potatoes incredibly dry. Upon request there was no ketchup or sauce, only for an additional charge. Unfortunately, the second visit with fries and fried chicken wasn't any better: the fried chicken for almost €17 consisted of a few small dry schnitzels that had been baked to death. Unfortunately, both times there was no response from the service in response to dry and almost inedible food, unfortunately no one was interested. We definitely won't come back a third time!

I think the location and the food are good, as you can always order half a portion. However, the staff (even when there is little going on) is very slow and inattentive.

Very nice staff and cozy atmosphere. The music was quite loud at times. The food tasted good. The prices for the portion sizes of the vegan/vegetarian schnitzels are very high. The vegetarian burger performs best here.

Ich bin immer auf der Suche nach leckerem veganen Kaiserschmarrn und der hier war wirklich gut. Würd ich jederzeit wieder hingehen. Das einzige, das etwas gestört hat, sind die "Stühle". Entweder du sitzt auf der Bank - dann Glück gehabt - oder auf einem Hocker ohne Lehne. Passen sie gut zur Inneneinrichtung - ohne Frage, ja. Aber ich mag einfach gerne Lehne zum Essen :) Ansonsten alles tutti.
