Colleague with the glasses insulted us after we pointed out that we had been waiting for 20 minutes

We waited 20 minutes to be served and then asked the waiter to give us a Goschn.

It is a venue right across from the entrance gate of the Oktoberfest area. The garden is beautiful. You can take a break to drink beer. The toilets are very clean.

Food was a bit underwhelming and service was not bad but they were clearly understaffed. Pork Cordon Bleu for me was a big no, meat was tough and the cheese was very weird inside, looking all curdled. My partner had sausages and it was good, but nothing exceptional.

Full marks for everything from the start. Opposite the entrance to the Theresienwiese, “Das Bad” can be found beautifully under the trees. Small anteroom into a beautiful restaurant with a great modern Bavarian ambience. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted wonderfully by the waitress, who put a smile on my face as soon as I arrived. At the table the menu, traditionally Bavarian and not too crowded. When asked about special requests, no problem, but instead of leaving something out, the recommendation was adjusted and so we still had a perfect meal. Courteous service staff regularly ask how you are doing. At the end of the meal the service was told that the sausages were a bit cold. The chef didn't let this sit and came to the table and sincerely apologized for everything and also offered to throw two new ones on the grill. It tasted perfect, but I gratefully said no to two new sausages because my stomach didn't want any more after this good portion.😊 A great crew and after a chat with the boss, a wonderful evening ended. Gladly again and thank you for the great stay🤗

Pretzels for 2.40 a piece are an absolute disgrace (rubber pretzel) and every discounter can do it better. Drinks non-alcoholic light Augustiner very good. Unfortunately, another store that you only visit once.

Unfortunately the food, although the portions are enormous, was almost inedible - the ribs were dry and hard, while the fries were soggy. But the building is beautiful and the service was top notch.

We were there yesterday and wanted to buy beer at the Gassenschänke because we didn't want to sit down but still didn't want bottled beer. After we rang the bell twice and spoke to the kitchen staff and after 15 minutes still no one wanted to serve us, we left without having accomplished anything. To the operator: if you don't want to serve the Gassenschänke, then simply don't offer it. This saves disappointed customers time.

Portions are relatively small. The friendliness of the staff varies like the weather.

We were just there, sat down in the guest garden, after 20 minutes a lady from the service called out to us as we passed by, saying that there was nothing going on in this area today because she was finishing up here - over. So it's not like "I'm sorry and could you sit here or there?" Interesting… We just left again. It was about half full and most of the tables hadn't been cleared.

Granted it was a Sunday afternoon. Just not enough employees to serve customers. One of them was really cranky. The other one was just too busy. Just wanted to get a beer to walked up to get one, I was politely told to sit, and we waited for about 20 minutes before we decided to just try another place. Upon arrival, I got a beer in just about a minute.

Waren zum ersten Mal dort mit Bekannten dort. Essen und Service waren top! Preise für München auch gut ! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen schnell zum Tisch. Lediglich etwas hallig ist es durch die Architektur, aber dadurch entsteht eben auch dieses einzigartige Ambiente. Außerdem haben sie einen Biergartenbereich.

The pavilion is hard to miss and doesn't look big - once you're inside it changes completely. The round room has nice seating, not too narrow, cozy. The food is down-to-earth, there is a lunch and daily menu. Whether bratwurst, burger or roast suckling pig - simply good. The service is friendly and super fast - would be happy again.

I arrived at the restaurant with an open mind. The restaurant was almost empty. I was offered a menu, so I decided to dine. The waiter was very receptive at first, but the direction changed when I ordered cyrry sausage. The portion was average and I noticed that part of the portion had gone cold. The French ones were Lidl-level sausage and gravy ok, but many gas stations can do better. Nothing was asked during the meal and I was waiting for when I could order more. After the meal I ordered a Bretzel which would have been good to eat the extra sauce during the meal. The prezel was dry and hard. I will not visit again.

Gastronomy is service and management should make this known to the staff. Waiters in particular do not have the right to serve guests in an unfriendly manner, where are we? At the same time, they diss each other so that no one works too much. The same thing happened to me last year and is definitely not an isolated incident. If the tables are empty, making guests wait 10 minutes in front of the door is of course the icing on the cake.

If you want to eat here with children, you should go somewhere else. Were there in the morning (there was nothing going on, would never go out to eat with children at peak times) and unfortunately we had the feeling that the staff 1. didn't want to work and 2. we weren't welcome. Service was therefore unfriendly. When I asked if there was a changing table, I was told it was full and I should just use the bench. Apparently clearing the changing table wouldn't have been an option. It's a shame, I would have preferred to leave my money somewhere else!

Was there for the first time. The tasty Obatzdn was accompanied by red onion rings, enough bread and a pretzel. To go with the chilli cheese whips, add some nice chunky mashed potatoes and some salad. Both dishes were very tasty 😋 and beautifully presented! The homemade lemonades could be a little fruitier. The service was attentive, friendly and always stopped by!

The restaurant offers an unusual but very interesting atmosphere. If you've seen it in real life, you'll know what I mean. Food is brought quickly and tastes excellent. Home cooking is highly recommended here. Vegetarian options are also available and are recommended. Service is courteous, fast and reliable. Despite the great stress, the waiters remain friendly and like to joke with the customers. The beer is from Augustiner and the light is served on tap. The prices are reasonable for Munich.

Kind of a pretentious place which seems to be popular around the neighborhood. Just okay for a drink that's all.

We spent a weekend in Munich with friends and then passed the Augustiner Bräu das Bad. We asked if a place was available, which is always the case in Munich. We were told that although everything is reserved for later, you can have a table until then. We were only planning on staying for a few drinks anyway, so the offer was just right for us. The waiter came quickly and took our order. I tried the Augustiner Pils, which I had never heard or seen before. Of course it's a matter of taste, it's very bitter and Augustiner is probably more specialized in light wines ;-) The rather small restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated, very bright and clear. The toilets were very clean and well maintained, which is always an important aspect. Several small groups came after us who received the same offer as us of getting a table with a time limit. For us it was a nice little detour before we set off again. If you reserve early, you can definitely spend a nice evening there.

Food and service simply great. Would love to come back.

Beer is good, food is okay. However, the service is clearly in need of improvement. Or to put it another way, I think the ordering system should be reconsidered. Outside there is “only” service at the tables, if you are standing at one of the barrels it is self-service. You learn this from a waiter as you walk past. Well, we went in and wanted to order at the counter/bar. It said: Ordering can only be done via the service. So we waited for the waiter, who shouted this to us as we walked past. But he was probably too busy with himself. Luckily, a fellow Swabian from the service (very friendly and polite, as it should be) took our order and we were then able to take it outside. Similar picture with the second order: We are standing inside and waiting for service. In the meantime, two women sit down at the counter and place the order directly at the bar. When asked, they said: If you're sitting down, you can also order directly. Well, we will learn our lessons from it and hopefully the owner will too.

We only had one beer, but we were surprised at how great it turned out. Very friendly service who brought us a beer shortly before closing.

It was my first time to have a drink in the "Bad" with friends. The ambience is quite nice with the central bar and seating around the outside. The service was very good and yet relaxed and friendly, not so formal. I enjoyed it and will definitely stop by again.

I actually really enjoyed staying in the "Bad", but after my last experience I won't be a guest again any time soon. I wanted to make a reservation for 30 (!) people for a Tuesday evening, definitely not rush hour. I should guarantee that everyone eats something! Original sound: If two or three don't eat anything, that's okay. I would have brought 30 paying customers, all of whom would have drunk and the majority of whom would certainly have eaten something. Now another innkeeper is happy about the customers. Dear Das-Bad team, at least I was rejected in a friendly tone. But I definitely won't try it again.
