Havana in Schwetzingen

Always happy again! We celebrated my sister's birthday here and were even allowed to decorate and bring a cake. Despite the large company, the food and drinks came quickly. The atmosphere and service was outstanding! And there were delicious vegan and vegetarian alternatives.

Always very happy with the food and service

We were at Havana Española for a family celebration and had a delicious lunch there. I think the boss was alone that day, at least it took a little longer. But the delicious food absolutely made up for it. It was my first time eating Spanish or Cuban food and I would happily recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately really disappointing. We were there as a group and had reserved. The food is OK but nothing more. Some of it could be from the Chinese place around the corner and it's swimming in greasy sauce. The loveless children's dishes came 30 minutes before the other dishes. When we arrived at 6 p.m. there was a waitress there, but she was already overwhelmed with distributing drinks and finished work at 7 p.m. There was no one there except us, even on a Saturday evening. Then only the boss served, who was unfortunately very difficult to understand and extremely unfriendly. You basically have to beg for drinks, there was no interest in offering us anything or asking us if we would like dessert. The atmosphere is cozy, but could be a little more loving. For the prices quoted, the food should be top and the service acceptable. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing and you can't call it service. I won't go here voluntarily anymore.

No acepta tarjeta de crédito de extranjeros, no hay un aviso previo, y origina pasar vergüenza con los clientes, quienes tuvieron que pagar la invitación, el encargado comentó delante de los clientes que él no tenía por qué pagar las comisiones que el banco le retira.

Great cozy restaurant with music on the first Thursday of every month, with Roberto Moreno - super good - the food was very good, it only took a while and we were happy to accept it. We were very satisfied Went there again yesterday, it was again very nice and 😋 delicious

Long wait for service and food, even though only a few tables are occupied. Drink order was forgotten twice. The starter and main course arrived very late, even though we ordered them together. Churros were hard like breadsticks and tasted a lot like frying fat. At the end a bottle of liqueur and 2 glasses were placed on the table with the comment self-service. Unfortunately, I didn't get much positive out of our visit. In the future we will go back to El Torero in Walldorf.

It tasted great and the service was also super nice

Four of us showed up. One was our 2 year old son. The host was very friendly and it didn't bother anyone that our son walked around the restaurant while the food was being prepared and looked at everything. Authentic music was playing and you really felt a bit like you were in Cuba. Appetizer plate was great! Paella was very tasty and the other “participants” were also very happy with the food.

Were here for the first time. Sole and hake as well as dessert. Price and performance okay. Nice evening, gladly again.

Fish and calamari very tasty, simple wine, great Spanish music...every first Thursday of the month.

We spontaneously came across the Havana yesterday evening and are very happy about it. The food is modern Spanish cuisine from various world cuisines that the chef has collected. The restaurant is very modern, with a historical background. The staff is more than just friendly, you could also feel a friendly and respectful atmosphere among each other. All in all, we would like to take the trip there again. Muchas Graces pelo servico :)

Wir wollten am 25.04.24 zu Sechst um 21.55 Uhr dieses Lokal besuchen. Obwohl noch 2 Tische belegt waren und sonst alles frei war, wurden wir vom Inhaber sehr unfreundlich empfangen. Er wollte wissen, "ob er uns helfen könne". Auf unsere Antwort, "ja gerne, wenn er uns einen der freien Tische aussuchen lasse", herrschte er uns an, dass er um 22.00 Uhr schließe. Wir haben gefragt, wieso, zumal auf der Homepage steht, dass er bis 00.00 Uhr geöffnet habe. Er meinte nur, dass er das entscheide und dass er keine Cocktail-Bar sei, sondern ein Speise-Restaurant betreibe. Er hat uns aber noch nicht einmal gefragt, ob wir auch was essen wollen und uns stattdessen rausgeworfen. Noch nie, egal wo auf der Welt, wurden wir in den letzten 20 Jahren derart unfreundlich und unverschämt behandelt. Man kann nur dringend davon abraten, dieses Lokal zu betreten, man scheint Kunden und Umsatz nicht nötig zu haben. Selbst ein Stern ist noch 100% zu viel. Wir gingen daraufhin einige Meter weiter zum Mexikaner am Schloßplatz, wurden dort sehr freundlich behandelt und genossen den Abend bis zur dortigen, mit den Öffnungszeiten übereinstimmenden Sperrstunde.

Six of us wanted to visit this restaurant on April 25, 2024 at 9:55 p.m. Although two tables were still occupied and everything else was free, we were greeted very unfriendly by the owner. He wanted to know “if he could help us.” When we replied, "Yes, if he would let us choose one of the free tables," he told us that he closed at 10 p.m. We asked why, especially since the homepage says it's open until midnight. He just said that it was his decision and that he wasn't a cocktail bar, but a food restaurant. But he didn't even ask us if we wanted to eat something and instead threw us out. Never before, no matter where in the world, have we been treated so unkindly and shamelessly in the last 20 years. You can only strongly advise against entering this restaurant, you don't seem to need customers or sales. Even one star is still 100% too many. We then went a few meters further to the Mexican restaurant on Schloßplatz, where we were treated very kindly and enjoyed the evening until the curfew there, which coincided with the opening times.

Wir sind heute zufällig dort essen gegangen. Leckeres Essen, nettes Lokal, Preis/Leistung Verhältniss top. Lokal schön eingerichtet, läuft gute spanische Musik im Hintergrund. Bedienung aufmerksam. Wir kommen bald wieder.

We were here for the first time yesterday. The food and the homemade lemonade were very tasty. The owner was friendly. It's very nice to sit outside. We'd love to come back.

Very good and recommended Spanish restaurant. 👍👍👍Typical Spanish cuisine with exquisite dishes. No long waiting times despite the well-filled restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere, I had number 2 on the menu (shrimp in garlic sauce). The starter dish came to the table still simmering in its sauce and was very good. We both enjoyed the dish together. In addition, all three iced tea varieties were very good, I can recommend them :)

Super leckeres Essen, wo das Auge auch mit isst. Sangria war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und angenehm. Das Ambiente des Restaurant lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir waren nur für einen Snack und Cocktail zur Happy Hour dort, aber das Restaurant hat eine tolle Atmosphäre und schöne Karte. Wollen definitiv nochmal hin um richtig zu essen. Die Nachos mit Dip waren komplett selbst gemacht und mal was ganz Anderes als die typischen Nachos die man kaufen kann.

Schönes Restaurant mit Kuba-Flair in der Fußgängerzone von Schwetzingen. Dort gab es auch noch gegen 21:30 ein leckeres Abendessen.

Wie überall in der Gastro fehlt es an Personal, leider. Das Essen ist Bombe!! Die Karte sehr vielseitig....vieleicht 'zu' vielseitig?! Komme aber sehr gerne wieder! Tolles Ambiente....liebevolles Essen!

Ich habe mich am gestrigen Abend an dem Geschmack einer ihrer köstlichen Rollos gelabt. Ich durfte die beste Form und Ausführung von kubanischem Essen genießen. Die Bedienung sowie der kulinarische Leiter machten ebenfalls einen wohlherzigen und symphytischen Eindruck. Den einzigen Mangel welchen ich aufzeigen möchte, ist die schier unendliche MENGE an den Köstlichkeiten die einem zum Verzehr geboten wurde. Einem Normalsterblichen wie mir waren die Anforderungen einfach zu viel. Trotzdem vielen Dank für den erlebnisreichen Abend . Grüße aus Hessen.

Super netter Inhaber, sehr leckere Cocktails und fantastisches Essen. Wir sind oft hier und immer wieder total glücklich! Das Ambiente ist toll und die Musik passt perfekt zum Essen. Ein kleiner Urlaub :-)

Die Optik vom Schweinefleisch so la la Service war gut

Lunch war hervorragend. Netter Besitzer und der Mittagstisch besteht aus drei Gängen. Wir haben unterschiedliche Hauptgänge gewählt. Hat alles super geschmeckt und kam frisch und schnell an den Tisch

Es sieht top aus, es schmeckt top und die Leute dort sind auch top.... wir waren an einem abend da, an dem nicht mehr viel los war, leider war die Küche dann schon geschlossen, jedoch waren die cocktails wirklich 1+.... sowohl alkoholische, als auch Alkoholfreie cocktails gibt es im Angebot und sahen super aus und haben auch super geschmeckt. Nur zu empfehlen :)

Ein tolles Restaurant. Einen kleinen Abstrich weil wie auch woanders Personal gesucht wird und es manchmal etwas länger dauert. Aber bei dem leckeren Essen lohnt das Warten auf jeden Fall.

Essen war in Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist allerdings eine voll-Katastrophe. Ein einziger Kellner (mittelalter Kerl) ist völlig überfordert und langsam. Bringt ständig falsche Gerichte. Im Laufe des abends hat er sich dann einfach zu Bekannten an den Tisch gesetzt und ein Bier getrunken, während die Gäste ewig warten mussten, bis der Service weiterging. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Schönes Ambiente und sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Chef und Personal. Das Essen ist mit viel Liebe gemacht und schmeckt daher sehr gut 👍 Empfehlenswert! 😊
