Very nice, central location, close to the castle, with an outdoor area under large umbrellas, inside a cozy mix of brewery and pub. Staff very attentive and friendly. In addition to the friendly, human service, there is also "Bella", a shapely, self-driving robot girl (also with a friendly face) who transports ordered dishes directly to the right table - very original highlight :-) The menu is very diverse and the food is very tasty and the portion size is just right. However, the wooden chairs are a bit very hard, so even the seat cushion on them doesn't help. But other chairs would be a breach of style, so just get up and go to the toilet or out the door if things get too bad ;-) We had a great evening here and would love to come back!

Everyone who has been there knows that the Schlossplatz is beautiful. You can sit outside very well here and the menu has a good selection. The schnitzels were very tasty, as were the salad and pepperoni as a starter. The other dishes we saw on the neighboring tables all looked very appealing. I really liked the selection of drinks and was thrilled with the raspberry lemonade. What absolutely needs to be emphasized is the great service. We were served very well all evening! Absolutely recommended.

Waited too long for the food for the second time, steaks were lukewarm and fries were very cold. Otherwise there is an air conditioning system in the restaurant if it is too warm outside and clean.

We've been there several times with the family, the food is delicious and delivered quickly. In addition, it is relatively comfortable to sit indoors in midsummer.

Great restaurant. A mix of tradition and modern. Super cool service. We had hand-wrapped Maultasschen and pork schnitzel. The portions were very good and the taste was also great. We would always come back there.

Sehr gutes Essen und noch besseres Bier, wie man es in einem Brauhaus zu erwarten hat. Die Pommes sehr knusprig und perfekt gewürzt. Das Fleisch sehr zart und gut gegart. Das Bier ist auch sehr gut und nur wenige Kilometer entfernt gebraut.

In the restaurant there is a robot walking around with the food, which made me smile when it came out of the kitchen and stared at me and stopped just like me :-) The staff is friendly and the menu makes your mouth water just reading it. Nice beer selection and the elderberry spritzer is also delicious. The restaurant is located in the middle of the popular street to the castle. There are plenty of parking spaces and parking garages around.

The rump steak for €26 - without any side dishes! - was ordered medium. Only the edges were there, the inside was completely raw. The post-roasting was done in a very short time, so it hardly achieved anything. The side dishes were good. But given the price for the meat alone, I expect a corresponding result. The homemade raspberry lemonade was delicious.

Really good food, very good and friendly service, great atmosphere inside and on the terrace.

Beer is great. Schnitzel was ok too. Maybe next time serve the fried potatoes alongside or separately. What was disappointing was the chicken Mediterranean. I was very excited and then also disappointed. I politely pointed out that it wasn't good to use perfumed oil, possibly destroying the crispy crust. The service was very friendly and understandable. But that was all. No reaction from the kitchen. A pity

Our experience here was a slap in the face, bad food and even worse service. The waiter was extremely rude when we complained that the asparagus was still raw and inedible. At least an apology could have assuaged our disappointment, but none came. We did not receive a proper invoice and only received payment receipts upon request.

Great location. It was very busy, so the waiting time was long. Food very good, but now very expensive - like almost everywhere.

Recommended - despite weaknesses in the food. Delicious beer. Very nice location to sit outside - but it's also nice and cozy inside. All female waiters are friendly, quick, attentive and very professional. The male one takes some getting used to. The food is okay. What I liked best so far were the Swiss sausage salad and the burger. Brauer Gröstl, Paprikaschnitzel and Maultaschen were so-so. You'll get full but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Beautiful Bauhaus, with delicious food. There's a service robot along for the ride, which is funny to see. Drinks were delicious and nice and cold. I would give the nice service lady even more stars if that were possible. All in all a successful evening. We would be happy to come back if we find ourselves in the region again.

Too expensive for relatively small portions. Rude staff who have never heard of customer service. More suitable for a one-time visit on a trip and then not again.

In the Grüner Baum restaurant in Schwetzingen we enjoyed excellent schnitzels in a cozy atmosphere with excellent service. The robot waiter surprised us. A recommended experience for lovers of German cuisine.

We were there on March 9th. with a group of 14 people for lunch there. The service staff was very caring and super friendly, the food was plentiful and very tasty. Since the rooms are spacious, you can sit quite relaxed and not crowded even with other groups. The location on Schlossplatz is also a real option for outdoors - gladly again!

Used the nice weather to visit the castle park in Schwetzingen. The outdoor area invites you to refresh yourself. The service took a long time and so did the food. The food was very good. The service and the long waiting time spoiled the stay somewhat. A pity.

The beautifully located and renovated restaurant is in the pedestrian zone directly in front of the castle. The food itself was completely ok, just nothing super special. The service was very nice and also very quick (despite full tables). The highlight is a robot that brings the plates to the tables.

Very nice guesthouse near Schwetzingen Castle, centrally located in Schwetzingen. There is an underground car park within walking distance, so you can stay longer in the restaurant. Spacious ambience and successful furnishings inside and when the weather is nice you can go outside to the Schlossplatz. The operation and service is very attentive and friendly and accommodating. In winter there is a special kind of temp called Bella. An R2D2 as a waiter who gives you a friendly wink when he brings the food. But it is then served by the human colleague. A real support for the service staff. It's not just children who are excited about this new product. This can help with the shortage of skilled workers. The food and beer are very tasty. Decent and tasty portions, as you would like to see as a guest. This also means a good price/performance ratio. It's worth a visit, I would recommend a reservation.

Das war wohl nix: Flammkuchen klebte am Backpapier fest, Schnitzel hatte auf gar keinen Fall 300 g, Pommes versalzen, Bratkartoffeln verbrannt, Kartoffelsalat Fertigprodukt? Service ausbaufähig, das war das erst Mal, dass wir aus einer Kneipe durstig rausgingen :-(

Food ok but nothing special, the service robot is quite funny. Beer from the operator, of course. 😉 It's just not the old Green Tree anymore, but they're trying to make the best of it. The mood is no longer what it used to be. The audience is also different. Unfortunately, the bartenders are completely understaffed at live music events and you have to wait in line for a ridiculously long time. But this is not due to the workforce.

My favorite restaurant in Schwetzingen. In warmer weather the beer garden is highly recommended

Tolles Ambiente. Super nette Bedienung (hoffen dass das Ski fahren gut war). Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut 👍🏼 Zwiebelsuppe auch der Gockel 🐓 zart saftig. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, manchmal leider etwas zügig.

wir hatten ca.4 Wochen im voraus für eine Gruppe von 25 Personen reserviert. Am Telefon hatte man uns zugesagt, dass wir an einer langen Tafel zusammen sitzen würden. Als wir am Reservierungsabend ankamen, erwarteten uns 3 auseinander liegende Tische ( als Familie zu den Weihachtsfeiertagen nicht gerade schön) wir schoben dann selbst 2 Tische zusammen, die Familienmitglieder des 3 Tisches mussten separat um die Ecke sitzen. Unter diesen Umständen hätten wir erst garnicht reserviert. Nun hatten wir aber keine Alternative mehr. Das Essen war gut, allerdings war das vegetarische Gericht auf der Weihnachtskarte ( Semmelknödel mit Pilzen ) mit 3 Miniknödel, heller Soße und ein paar Pilzen drinnen mit knapp 15,- € zu teuer und als Hauptgericht viel zuwenig um satt zu werden. Gegen 20:45 Uhr wurden wir dann zur letzten Bestellung aufgefordert und kurz abkassiert. Wir wurden also indirekt zum Gehen aufgefordert. Unser persönliches Fazit: Wer gerne Schnitzel mag, keine große Gruppe ist und am 2 Weihnachtsfeiertag gerne um 21:00 Uhr wieder zuhause sein möchte, findet was er sucht.

Es hat allen geschmeckt. Am Burger hätte etwas mehr Sauce sein können. Service ziemlich schnell und geduldig. Portionen ausreichend gross. Ohne Wertung: der Serviceroboter zur Unterstützung des lebenden Personals wirkte nicht ganz ausgereift. Aber unklar ob Bedienungs/Programmierungs/Entwicklungsfehler

Sehr freundliches Personal, leckere Speisen, wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag essen, es gab alle Speisen aus der normalen Karte und zusätzlich eine kleine Speisekarte, wir waren eine Gruppe von 20 Personen, die Speisen kamen alle zusammen an unseren Tisch, gute Organisation, wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei

Ich fand den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm besonders wegen dem Barkeeper Benjamin (Ehrenbürger) ihn fand ich besonders sexy. 😇

Der Kellner war sehr höflich und nett und das Essen hat bis auf eine Ausnahme (Kochkäse hatte 0 Geschmack - hat einfach nur neutral nach gar nichts geschmeckt) auch sehr gut geschmeckt und war im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als angemessen! Was aber gar nicht ging, war die Tatsache, dass wir nicht auf das Schliessen der Küche aufmerksam gemacht wurden. Wir haben am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag abends unser Familienessen dort gemacht und wenn man schon Vor- und Nachspeise bestellt, kann ein Kellner - gerade an solch einem Tag - vielleicht auch davon ausgehen, dass wir gerne noch Dessert hätten. Als wir danach fragten, es war ca. 20.15 Uhr, hieß es nur - es tut uns leid, aber die Küche hat schon komplett geschlossen. Das war ein Schlag ins Gesicht - für allem für die Jugend unter uns, die sich ihr Dessert eigentlich schon vor der Hauptspeise ausgesucht hatten. Somit schauten wir, dass wir schnell nach den letzten Getränken, die wir dann noch bestellt hatten, das Lokal verließen und im Kaffeehaus unser Dessert eingenommen haben...wir hätten zumindest an solch einem Tag erwartet, dass man darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird, dass die Küche bald schließt...zumal 10 Minuten zuvor noch warme Speisen serviert wurden und das Restaurant auch nicht irgendwie sonderlich leer war. Ansonsten war es schön und wir hätten auch sicherlich 4 oder gar die ganzen Sterne vergeben, aber das war leider kein schöner Ausklang unseres Weihnachtsessens...

Das war mal eine Überraschung. Fantastische Schnitzel. Eine hausgemachte Currysoße an der Currywurst. Tolles Ambiente und eine freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung machten den Abend rund.

Eat here. If you only eat at one place in the area, this is a great choice. Order the local beer or wine. It's very good and award winning. I love the Jägerschnitzel and spaetzle here as well. The staff is friendly and for those with limited German, they speak English also.

Sehr enttäuscht,gegen früher.. Hirschgulasch fest u.säuerlich...alles in einem tiefen Teller.... halbierte ,feste, Fertigklöße , Preiselbeeren..... mit in der Soße ....Salat " old school" misch masch ....zu sauer !!! Kein Feldsalat im Winter ??? ...Aber Roboter....passt nicht ins Brauhaus ... Salatschüssel mit Maultaschen.....geschmelzte warme Zwiebeln auf dem Salat....ein Unding!!! Nur der junge Kellner war ein Lichtblick.... äußerst bemüht und freundlich. Kaffee und kl.Salat ohne Berechnung..... Aber das Sonntagsessen war ruiniert .....schade.... Sollten mal " Frank Rosin " einladen. 😞😞😞

Der Umbau des Gastraumes ist sehr gelungen. Sehr gemütlich hier auch wenn es sehr voll ist, ist die Atmosphäre immer noch sehr angenehm. Auf der Speisekarte findet man Schnitzel, Rumpsteak ,Hähnchen ,Salatvarianten und Flammkuchen. Kellner Robot macht einen guten Job hier und verteilt das Essen . Das Hähnchen war der Knaller ,sehr lecker und der Kartoffelsalat wunderbar und lauwarm .Aperol auch top .Wir kommen wieder .

Alles gut, das Reservieren war sehr gut, nette Bedienung, Essen und Preis-Leistung waren sehr gut.

Schwetzingen geizt ja nicht an Lokalitäten. Im grünen Baum sind mir bekannterweise Flammkuchen und Schnitzel zu empfehlen. Getränke finde ich etwas überteuert. Bedienung, ob menschlich oder robotisch sehr nett😉 Einrichtung nach Renovierung echt schön geworden. Werde wieder mal aufschlagen😋

Samstag Abend 23:20 Uhr und wir werden mit den Worten begrüßt, letzte Runde. Waren etwas überrascht da noch etliche andere Gäste da waren, aber ok. Bedingung war sehr freundlich und die Getränke kamen schnell. Leider war der Chef nicht gerade ein Sympathieträger, kam eher arrogant und von oben herab rüber! Ein Getränk, dann wurden die Lichter angemacht und die Gäste quasi rausgeworfen
