Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Wir hatten Sushi welche nicht nur von der Optik sondern auch vom Geschmack sehr gut waren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

The food was very tasty. There is a star deduction because the starter was not served before the main course and the second main course was served much later than the first. Nevertheless, we were satisfied because it tasted very good.

The first impression is deceptive. Oak Rusticarl suggests otherwise. The taste is simply great. That something so “simple” can be so damn delicious. We made reservations again for the next day. These were the best fries we have ever eaten! (that probably doesn't always exist) Highly recommended. 👍

It's so sad that one of the best restaurants is closing its doors forever, we always enjoyed being there, great food, super friendly staff, great prices.

Overall, my visit to the Verlan restaurant was very unsatisfactory. What was particularly negative was the fact that no receipt is issued for cash payments and card payments are only documented with a simple receipt from the payment terminal. Even more problematic was the reaction of the staff when I asked for a receipt: instead of a polite answer, an unpleasant atmosphere was created. The receipt issued also only showed the total amount without listing the individual items in detail. Billing is done using a calculator and without a cash register system, which seems unprofessional. For a restaurant that values ​​service, this is unacceptable and should be urgently improved. ---

You always get fresh food here. From Monday to Friday you can also buy something for lunch here. Rice with vegetables is highly recommended here. You can also get the best kebab in Schwetzingen here. The staff are quick and always friendly. Unfortunately, the store itself is a bit cramped and not really nice, but you can also sit outside.

I love Sawasdee! 😂 I'm a regular and have probably been there 100 times to eat on site or to pick up. Never had anything bad! Everything I tried was tasty, always super fresh and freshly prepared! You have to like eating locally, I always feel like I'm in Thailand, I like that… Even special requests are no problem! We really enjoy coming here! I hope the boss doesn't retire anytime soon! I'm already having sleepless nights... 😂 The only point of criticism is no card payment. Luckily, some banks are within walking distance. EC card would be more convenient. But otherwise everything was great and I'm always happy to come back! Oh yes… there is Singha beer… 🤣

This time the “cheese spaetzle” was really bad. It was a ready-mixed sauce with gratinated cheese and the cheese was even burnt. The last time I ordered cheese spaetzle, they tasted different. I wonder if the chef wasn't there. The fries were dark, hard and dry...we're used to better things.
