Despite a confirmed reservation, we were met with a chaotic, packed restaurant. Our reservation couldn't be found, and they tried to give us a completely unsuitable makeshift table right by the entrance: squeezed between coats, a large stroller, and a constantly screaming baby whose father kept circling us with the child. Our polite request for a different table was ignored. Absolutely unacceptable for paying customers. We left the restaurant. Disorganized, inconsiderate, a definite no-go.

We visited Michiko for the first time – on a recommendation – and were not disappointed. We ordered appetizers, sushi, and delicious udon noodles. Everything was incredibly tasty, beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

The food was quite good but not outstanding, although it was beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese coffee was just regular espresso dispensed from a machine with hot water in the cap. You could skip it.

Friendly and fast service, the fried tuna was very, very tasty, the vegetables were crisp, top-notch!

Unreliability at its worst. My reservation was canceled at such short notice that I wondered if anyone even had any idea what was going on. No explanation, no apology – just gone. If you're looking for chaos and a complete lack of planning, this is the place for you. I certainly won't be coming back.

Great service and very friendly. Ordering was seamless and the wait was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress me. It wasn't bad, but it didn't pleasantly surprise me either. The appetizer was good and ample. The main course wasn't anything special. The vegetables were too tough and the duck was quite soft and lacked bite. The dessert was disappointing; the chocolate cake (muffin) was dry and tasted burnt. Overall, I would recommend everyone try it for themselves. We didn't try the sushi.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but the tables are extremely close together. I have food intolerances, so if I eat out at all, it's usually sushi. That way, you can see the ingredients. The food was nicely presented. Unfortunately, my inside-out rolls were generously smothered in aioli sauce. I can't tolerate eggs, so I can't eat mayonnaise or aioli either. I tried to scrape it off, but rice soaks up sauce so quickly. I pointed this out to the staff, saying that this should be noted on the menu because I can't eat it. They said it was already mentioned. I got another menu later and checked. Some rolls were listed as "with aioli," but the ones I ordered weren't! There was no sauce in the picture either. I spoke to the staff again. They apologized, saying the chef was new and hadn't known about it yet. Okay, but I still couldn't eat my main course. On my birthday, yay.

Delicious appetizer platter, sushi, wok dish, and fish latte (#31). The wasabi mashed potatoes were amazing too! 🤗 We'll be back!

The food was okay, and the long wait didn't bother us. What we couldn't stand, however, was the unfriendly service. While paying, the waiter repeatedly laughed at us for mispronouncing the names of the sushi dishes and asked us to repeat them several times – as if we were little children. We've never experienced such disrespectful behavior in a restaurant. It was simply embarrassing and unpleasant. After this experience, we will definitely not be coming here again.

We had reserved a special table for Sunday days ago and went there specifically to clarify the situation so that there would be no misunderstandings. However, when we arrived at the agreed time on Sunday, the table was taken, and they weren't interested. It was like, "You either stay or you go somewhere else!" Since I had guests, it wasn't possible to find another restaurant on short notice. It was very busy, and not only ours, but also other tables had orders that went wrong. The team was completely overwhelmed that day. True, the food was poorly seasoned and quite bland in flavor. It's a shame, but I won't be going there again anytime soon, and certainly not with guests!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. The lady could barely communicate in German, and I personally found it unpleasant having to repeat myself so many times. Every main course was decorated the same way with cress on top, even though we all ordered something different. Then they added mayo and soy sauce, which didn't go well at all, and again, the same thing happened on every dish. Overall, my dish (Phad Thai) with giant prawns was extremely dry and tasteless, and the prawns were too, and they were anything but giant prawns 🤣 I wouldn't come here again.

It's not a vietnam restaurant, where you can get you dishes fast or in reasonable time. Here you will die from hungry.

I had an unfortunate experience during my visit. The chair I was sitting on was broken, causing me to fall to the floor while holding my 6-month-old baby. Fortunately, neither of us was injured. Even more disappointing, however, was the staff's reaction. The server offered no help, showed no concern or empathy, and didn't even ask, "Are you okay?" or say "Excuse me." Had it been an elderly person or a pregnant woman, things could have turned out very differently. The food was good, but safety and basic customer service are just as important.

We went there on the recommendation of a friend and with the Schlemmerblock (snack menu). We chose two sushi menus for about €30 each. Please note: The sushi menu only offers a €15 discount, not one of two main courses free as advertised with the Schlemmerblock. I don't think that's fair, but okay, what can you do? The service seemed very stiff and didn't even smile. We felt somehow unwelcome. It was unpleasant. The food and the ambiance were excellent. Due to the unpleasant experience with the service and because we felt unfairly treated with the Schlemmerblock, we won't be coming back. The restaurant made an extra €15 in profit, but ultimately ended up losing money, which is why we won't be coming back.

Everything was top-notch. Delicious and fresh. Also beautifully presented. It's not cheap, but the value is right.

Food and drinks, location impeccable and clean, but, for heaven's sake, the waiters (all of them) never smile, giving the feeling of "Too many words? Non comprende!!" and being somehow unwanted. I don't need to go there again...

Best Sushi Experience ever! The lunch menu is worth to try with surprised delicious cuisine. The atmostphere is cozy and even I would say romantic for both gathering and dating. Highly recommend to go as a group so you can try many different taste of sushi roll. I will definitely come back!

I was so surprised by Michiko. The decor is truly beautiful. The service is also attentive and very friendly. The best part, though, is the food! I had the udon noodles and it was truly delicious! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic food. We thought it was incredibly delicious. We were surprised by exciting creations like curry risotto with fresh vegetables or duck with wasabi mashed potatoes. We didn't have sushi, but from what we saw at the neighboring tables, it's definitely a dream for sushi lovers. The service was discreetly friendly. The homemade ice tea was great. The appetizer accidentally arrived twice (shortly after we had finished sharing ours). After briefly clarifying whether it belonged somewhere else, we were asked if we wanted to eat it anyway. It was raining heavily as we left, and we were even asked if we had an umbrella. We'll definitely be back soon.

Table reservation, Fridays 6:00 p.m., 4 people. The restaurant has a cozy interior. On that Friday evening it was as loud as a train station that it was difficult to have conversations. Tight seating. High prices compared to a Chinese restaurant. Despite the starter platter, misu soup and main courses with different noodles and types of meat, everything tasted very similar. No flavor highlights or special spice. We were all disappointed and definitely won't come back again.

It wasn't the first time we tried this restaurant, but it was our first sushi experience there. The food was delivered quickly, and the sushi rolls were nicely packaged in a box with a lid. I liked the fresh taste of the fish and how good the ratio of fish to rice was. Their sushi is not cheap, we paid around 120 euros for this platter in the pictures, including the tartare in the middle. Last time we ordered chicken and beef dishes with rice, which were just a little above average. Next time we will eat there to have the full experience.

I had dinner there a long time ago and it was great. I saw on the website that you can also have the food delivered. I then ordered on a Sunday afternoon and was amazed at how quickly the delivery arrived. Within half an hour the food was there (in the neighboring town) and still hot. The sushi and the udon noodles with chicken were very tasty. Gladly again!

The two of us went to the restaurant yesterday. Rarely eaten so deliciously recently. The tuna tartare was excellent and beautifully prepared. The smoked grilled duck with wasabi mashed potatoes and vegetables was very delicious. The meat is tender and the portion is enough to eat. The vegetables are crispy and the sauce is ready to put in. Conclusion we will be back.

In my experience, the salmon is of lower quality, as is common in almost every restaurant these days. Thick white streaks of fat in the salmon are NOT a quality feature, but rather indicate farmed salmon. Just compare the texture and fatty streaks of Scottish wild-caught or Alaskan salmon with those in a sushi restaurant. AI: * A higher percentage of fat veins may actually indicate more intensive farming, as farmed salmon are often fattier than wild salmon. This is because they are typically fed more food and have less exercise and indicates inappropriate feeding and antibiotics.

We came to the restaurant via the Schlemmerblock. We shared this right at the beginning and showed our online gourmet block. The food and service were good. Unfortunately, when we got the bill we were told the voucher was only valid on main courses and therefore we only got €5.50 deducted (the voucher cost €5). After a long explanation on our part that this was not in the conditions, the owner insisted on his conditions (which were not communicated to us) and we paid and left. That was the first and last time we were there. It's a shame, the food was good, but service and friendliness are part of it for us!

I'm really sorry to write this, but I recommend reading this review before visiting the restaurant. I am known for my honest reviews and always try to rate fairly - I tried it here too. But this experience was simply disappointing. There were two of us there and we were full of anticipation. The atmosphere looked promising and we were excited. We ordered a pinot noir and the beef tartare. When the wine came, we tasted it and were confused - it was extremely dry. At first we thought it was up to us. The tartare came at the same time, but it was too spicy for me and, to be honest, I've eaten better. The menu markets the food well - it's a shame that the taste doesn't live up to its promise. We asked twice about the boat shown in the maps pictures. Both times we got the answer that we had to order “number 7”. So we ordered a plate for three people for €90, even though there were only two of us - just to get the boat. We also made it clear that we didn't want cucumbers, but wanted avocado instead. After 30 minutes the food came - and it wasn't a boat plate, but a bridge, as shown in the picture. I asked the waiter about it, but he just shrugged his shoulders – that was it. The wine was already disappointing, and now this... But we didn't want to make a fuss and started eating. But then the next surprise: there were cucumbers in the sushi. Imagine if me or my wife had been allergic! I mentioned it to the staff and they apologized and asked if there had been an allergic reaction. Luckily not. As compensation, we asked for dessert on the house - which was accepted. After having the leftover sushi packed up, we ordered dessert. For €15 there was a surprise dessert that was supposed to be “conjured up” by the chef. What we got? Ice cream with mochi… €15?! Well, gift horse and all that. When we wanted to pay, my wife checked the wine again - and realized: It wasn't Pinot Noir at all! And not the 2018 vintage either, as stated on the menu. I asked the waitress about it and said that since we had already drunk two thirds of it, we would only pay half. A colleague was then brought in because the language barrier was a problem for all employees. The colleague - who had already shrugged his shoulders - claimed it was the right wine. I showed the proof with Google and AI. He caved and explained that the wine was no longer offered, but that it was from the same company and that the menu was being revised. Seriously?! You are deliberately selling a fake wine for €28?! After a discussion, we agreed that we would pay half - but because I was accommodating, we paid two thirds. Then it came to the bill: I mentioned that the beef tartare would be charged to the gourmet block (as agreed) and the dessert would be on the house. The waitress had to clarify this again. But when I thought everything had been clarified, the colleague came and said that nothing had been agreed upon. I asked to get the colleague who confirmed this. But she came, boldly claimed that nothing had been agreed upon, and acted as if she knew nothing. I was speechless. I've never experienced anything like this before. I paid and politely said goodbye - the waitress couldn't even look me in the eye anymore. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant, but try it for yourself.

We ordered the food 1 hour 20 minutes before the requested time. I then called twice and was assured that the driver was already on the way (journey time 15 minutes). After 10 minutes I called again and was told that the food would be there in 10 minutes. After 20 minutes there was still nothing and the phone simply stopped being picked up. It all said that the food had been delivered. 50 minutes later the doorbell rang. No more……

I am extremely upset. We wanted to come with the Schlemmerblock and were here last year. Strangely enough, everything worked. This year the motto is: no gourmet block will be accepted on the weekend. Then please simply do not take part in this concept if you cannot stick to the offer.

Food is great, service is friendly and helpful, boss is moderately accommodating. We were there with a gourmet block and suddenly they no longer accepted it (we even spoke to him on the phone), but the nice waiter was accommodating in the end and gave up at least one of two meals, other guests even got up and left.

By far the most impudent treatment of guests I have ever experienced. We had reserved a table. Two women meet for dinner and chat. That is not desired here. Eating and walking is the order of the day. Lingering is not part of the concept. You will cash in with pressure and get out complicated. Definitely not worth recommending.

Great restaurant for sushi lovers. A variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Reasonable prices. There are usually no free seats in the evenings, so it's best to call ahead and reserve a table.

The food was really good and beautifully presented. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, we had to wait a long time for a server to come to us. It seemed more important to them to have a loud discussion with a group of three. It's a shame, because otherwise we were very satisfied.

Ambience: We were there three times with a reservation. At one point we were placed near the toilets, where we were also parked near the exit to the beer garden and largely ignored. The last time we were seated at a table right at the entrance, where, thanks to the visitors coming in and out, my legs were almost constantly cold. So I imagine something different when it comes to a cozy restaurant. Service: Maybe you shouldn't go there with the idea that you're a valued guest. The first order always went pretty quickly, but from then on there was radio silence. Maybe we would have liked something to drink or have dessert. But if you don't bring a bottle of water with you, it won't work. Of course, the payment process is similarly slow. People are constantly walking past you who have obviously been trained not to risk eye contact with the customer. If this is Asian friendliness, then I must have ended up in the parallel world where this friendliness developed in a confusing way. And don't get me wrong. I don't need a belly rub, but when I'm sitting in front of an empty glass, I expect a service to at least ask. Eat: The food is actually good. More lukewarm than hot, but tasted very good. The selection is also impressive. I can't complain here. It's a shame that I felt like an annoying guest every time, that will make me choose to go somewhere else in the future. I'm not expecting a La Ola wave or high fives, but a little more than ignoring would be really great.

Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Wir hatten Sushi welche nicht nur von der Optik sondern auch vom Geschmack sehr gut waren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

I only had sushi and deliberately stayed away from the ramen because the reviews said how bad it was. The sushi was good, I deliberately asked if they could leave out the cream cheese from all the vegetarian options because I'm vegan. That was done, but unfortunately there was still mayonaise everywhere. And there is definitely not vegan mayonaise in this restaurant. I thought it was a shame because my wishes were taken into account but somehow not. I then scraped them down.
