Hasir Restaurant in Berlin

Das war eines der Lieblingsrestaurants unserer Freunde, und wir waren oft hier. Leider war unser letzter Besuch eine völlige Enttäuschung. Wie sich herausstellte, hat das Restaurant nicht nur die Speisekarte, sondern offenbar auch sein gesamtes Konzept geändert. Anstelle unserer Lieblingsvorspeisen wurde uns mit einem Lächeln etwas anderes serviert, mit dem Kommentar, dass es „fast dasselbe“ sei. Statt eines authentischen türkischen Salats bekamen wir einen Eisbergsalat mit Mozzarella (!!!) und einer undefinierbaren Sauce. Als wir darauf hinwiesen, dass wir keinen Salat mit Mozzarella möchten, meinte der Kellner, der Mozzarella sei nur zur Dekoration… Statt Baba Ganoush servierte man uns gebratene Zucchini in Tomatenpaste. Als Hauptgericht bestellten wir Lammkoteletts. Als Beilage bekamen wir – ohne dass wir es bestellt hatten – ungenießbaren Spinat, Champignons mit Zwiebeln und eine kleine Portion Pommes. Der Kellner war zwar freundlich, aber reagierte überhaupt nicht auf unsere Wünsche, als ob er die Sprache nicht verstehen würde… Sehr schade. Wir werden definitiv nicht zurückkommen.

This is the place we visited during our visit to Berlin, after watching YouTube videos! We made this mistake, don't do it - don't be fooled by what is said in the videos, the atmosphere is bad, the attention of the waiters is quite bad, we went for the döner kebab (which is probably the worst in Berlin). The prices are expensive with the comfort of not being popular... Even the complimentary tea is expensive! If you want to be disgraced with your money, you can go... I guess you have to either be a celebrity (politician, etc.) or a YouTuber to get attention here.

Edited: With a broken heart I have to unfortunately change my rating. We came back after 1 year and it is like we entered an entirely different restaurant. The menu has changed and a lot of authentic Turkish dishes are removed. The taste of the foods is blunt and nothing special. The quality of the meat is very poor. Even the diversity and quality of the bread is reduced. Looks like the service team is the same, the staff was very polite, helpful and accommodating. The pictures are old and you can’t find most of the dishes in the restaurant anymore. Had an absolutely delicious, pleasant, chilled and exciting dinner. The dishes were exceptionally tasty, the service so polite and helpful, the restaurant atmosphere so chilled. I’d recommend every day of the week. Totally a must place to visit to experience berlina Turkish culture.

The different types of kebab are recommended with mixed meze. Ayran or Rakı with a meal and a Turkish coffee or tea are invariably wonderful.

Hasir Restaurant in Berlin is a good place for anyone craving delicious Turkish cuisine. The portions are generous (Mezze plate for 2), ensuring you leave satisfied, and every dish is bursting with authentic flavors. Highly recommend for a fulfilling dining experience that’s both tasty and hearty. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in the area!

Cada vez que estamos en Berlín, Hasir es una visita obligada para nosotros. Siempre hacemos una reserva con antelación para evitar decepciones. Hemos estado viniendo una y otra vez a Hasir durante años y nunca nos decepcionaron una vez. Si bien no los nombres de todos en Hasir, realmente no importa, ya que todos ellos son maravillosos. Y lo que es más importante, parece que nadie que trabaja allí nunca se va, ya que siempre somos recibidos por los mismos individuos, lo que es kudos a Hasir manteniendo a su gente y a su vez a los huéspedes verdaderamente felices. Desde la comida hasta la carta de vinos, tiene una amplia selección de maravillosas ofertas. Pero ten cuidado: Si crees que tienes hambre y pides varios entrantes, los tamaños de las porciones son fenomenales, por lo que es posible que desees revisar al hacer el pedido, ya que sería una pena desperdiciar las maravillosas creaciones de alimentos. Lo que más disfrutamos es la selección de entrantes fríos y calientes, ya que se le servirán platos individuales estilo tapas compartiendo platos con los más grandes y sabrosos panes planos que haya visto. El ambiente es bullicioso y nunca es una mala señal cuando los lugareños vienen a comer aquí. Gracias a todos en Hasir por ser tan constantemente genial y acogedor. Ya no podemos esperar hasta nuestra próxima visita.

Bad hospitality and lack of attention. We didn’t like the way they treated us

We went with a friend and ordered 2 doner kebabs. The waiter probably didn't like the order and left with a fuss. If there is a minimum spending fee, let them tell us and let's go accordingly. While I was paying the bill, my friend started to pour tea for a moment, and we were met with a rude reaction from the boss, shouting "stop, stop" and saying "we are giving the tea, not you, it costs 1.5 euros". Döner is a normal doner kebab, but the attitude of the employees is extremely bad. I will never go again, and I don't recommend anyone to go. If you want to have a little snack with every meal, by all means go for it. bon appetit

Always come here when I visit Berlin. The food is impeccable and the restaurant is a fantastic environment

Not recommended. According to the waiter, it is not possible to eat kebab in the restaurant. We ordered a kebab plate for €22.90 and the food was delivered cold. Taste poor.

We were served the smallest kebab in the world for an impressive 8 euros. Unfortunately, it couldn't live up to its price in terms of taste.

The service was not good at all, we had to wait. Lentil soup was good but expensive. The doner was nice and big. Ayran came open without me asking and it did not taste good at all. The toilets were not clean

Dry doner is not delicious, ayran is 3.5 euros, which is half the price of doner.

I'm very disappointed. I ordered a dish for €26. Unfortunately the meat only came with bread and onions and sauce and it was so dry and when I asked the waiter if I could have a sauce with it, the immediate answer was no, that wasn't part of it. And the beer was on the menu for €4.90 and when billed it suddenly turned out to be €6.90. It's really a shame...

Unfortunately, we were not satisfied at all. The taste of the doner kebab, especially the meat, was extremely different. When you chew, the nerves of the meat constantly come into your mouth. You cannot order doner at your table to eat it, you can buy your doner yourself in the outside section, pay for it and go to your table. This feature of a restaurant that is especially famous for its Döner in a place like Berlin is very, very bad. Tables and seating areas were not hygienic at all. I think there are much better Döner restaurants in Berlin that you can go to and try.

It's way too expensive for the food! We weren't even asked for tea or coffee after the meal and were given 95.20 plus €5 per day. Still hungry. What we had Adana plate 3 P plus 3x Sprte

It was perfect the food was a 11/10

The waiters were working by distinguishing between people and showing their facial expressions in that way. They treat a German customer differently than a Turkish customer. I guess it's just because we smoke tripe.

If you want to eat real döner kebab, this is the right address. The service, the taste, everything was very good. I recommend it.

Friendly reception. Rich menu that promises more than it delivers. Unfortunately, No. 71 was completely without spices. According to my companion, No. 85 was only allowed to get to know the pepper. My dish was number 82. The quality was very good. However, I think €24.90 for two small crepes filled with a little minced meat (shown on the menu as special bread) is pretty sporty. We expected a lot more from Turkish cuisine in terms of variety of tastes. It should be as rich in spices as the Levatinian one. It's a shame.

We have been eating there at irregular intervals for many years. They simply have an exceptionally high standard there that has never changed! Always recommended!

The food is quite delicious. The quantity is enough for two people. The salad comes with a side option and is enough for two people. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant’s food is halal. Suitable for families.

One of the best kebabs I've ever had

We ate at the branch in Berlin Nürnbergler Str. Our waiter Mehmet took great care of us, the food was delicious and very satisfying, something that is hard to find in Istanbul. Even though we went hungry, we couldn't finish the Sultan menu for 2 people. Our venue when we come to Berlin has now been determined.

We made a reservation for 6 people and were then shown into a room similar to Back Rooms. All the chairs and tables there were dirty. The stuffy warm air only made the situation more uncomfortable. The waiter only came to give us the menu after 10 minutes. We ended up having to wait another 10 minutes without a waiter coming to us. Definitely not recommended for larger groups.

First of all, I have to point out that everything on the menu falls short in terms of price performance. Everything is much more expensive than it should be, the food is absolutely too little, a normal person would never be satisfied and it is definitely not tasty. The employees are never friendly or polite. My personal experience was really bad and I do not recommend it. It is not worth the money and should not be visited.

I have to say this branch really stands out from the other locations. There are worlds of difference. Yes, the prices are higher. I think the tomato soup could be a little spicier. Tomato flavor wasn't intense. The salad wasn't anything special but it was tasty. Service was very attentive and friendly.

I recently visited this restaurant for a mid-day lunch. While the place was relatively empty, making it easy to find a seat outside, the constant traffic noise was far from pleasant. The lack of vegetation along the road made the experience feel like dining on a polluted street. The service was disappointingly slow and lacked any warmth or pleasantries. I ordered a starter and a main dish, both of which arrived at the same time—a clear sign of poor coordination. The starter, Mütebbel, was a letdown. It was overly sweet and bland, tasting more like plain yogurt with a hint of aubergine. Essential ingredients like garlic, paprika, and walnut were completely absent. The bread served with it was dry and seemed to be at least a day or two old. At €10.50, this small, lackluster starter was far from worth it. The main course, Çöp Şiş, was equally disappointing. This dish should have included lamb shish kebab with grilled vegetables and salad, but what I received was a poorly presented plate. Instead of shish kebab, there were just a few pieces of chopped meat accompanied by a halved, raw tomato and a small pepper—neither of which were grilled. The flatbread was cold, and the small portion of rice did nothing to salvage the dish. At €24.60, the price was outrageous for such a subpar meal. To top it off, the Ayran I ordered was excessively salty and priced at €5.90, making it yet another overpriced item on the menu. Overall, this is one of the worst and most overpriced restaurants in the area. If you have the time, I strongly recommend choosing a different restaurant where you can enjoy better service and more presentable dishes.

Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended I recently visited Hasir Restaurant for lunch with my nephew, and unfortunately, it was far from a satisfying experience. We ordered two dishes: the regular Adana Kebab and the Adana Yogurt Kebab, which set us back a hefty 48.4€. First off, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. I've attached a picture to give an idea of just how underwhelming the servings were. While the quality of the food was decent, it was nowhere near good enough to justify the steep price. To add to the disappointment, when I tried to express my concerns to the waiter, his only response was "ogey ogey" (which I assume was meant to be "okay okay"). It seemed like there was no real interest in addressing customer feedback, and my points were brushed off without a second thought. One of the reasons I enjoy Turkish restaurants is because they often provide a small starter or tea as a gesture of hospitality. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. The staff seemed more focused on getting us out of the place quickly so they could clean up, rather than ensuring we had a pleasant dining experience. Overall, based on the small portions, high prices, and lackluster service, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are certainly better options out there where you get more value for your money.

The food was tasty and the restaurant was nice, but unfortunately it was very, very little for the price "two people 50 euros". We left the restaurant still hungry. Of course you are willing to pay a higher amount for such a nice restaurant, but unfortunately the prices are not justified.

Unfortunately the food is way too overpriced. A grill plate there costs around €31 but what you get for that price is a disgrace!!! In addition, two pieces of bread + a loveless salad, which was almost forgotten and only brought when the grill plate was already half eaten. Then the İskender Kebap with steak meat. The taste was good, but for €32 I couldn't get enough of it. So the price-performance ratio wasn't right here either. When I looked at the other tables and their food, it looked like this everywhere. Small quantities, but no main course under 18-20€. With all due respect, that's not possible! The service was virtually non-existent. Order taken (after waiting 15 minutes), food brought (after 45 minutes) and cashed. Every starter, including Ezme & Tzatziki, salads, bread etc. would have cost extra. So the things (Ezme Tzatziki, salads, breads) that are part of the main course and are brought along for free in other restaurants, you have to buy here for around €15-20. What a joke... I was surprised that we didn't have to pay extra for the napkins. Once and never again, thank you.

First of all, I paid 155€, I expected that a Turkish restaurant in Germany would also be tolerant in Turkey, unfortunately they even wrote 4€ for the tea they brought. They served the ice cold frozen meat they brought as kebab, it was tasteless and the other meats were also cold. They served timeless dishes that came to the table one after another. They bring soup and 5 minutes later meat comes and raki is served. Everything is mixed up. Unfortunately, there is 0 communication with the kitchen. The waiters' attitudes are also poor. Anyone who can stay happy here would be very satisfied anywhere else in Turkey. I didn't like it when I came 2 years ago, no surprise, this time it was the last one.

Food tastes the way it should taste (Adana —> + fries, rice, beaver, tomato) = 10/10 —> Işkembe soup is a 10/10 Service is 9/10 (because fries were forgotten on a plate, but the staff were always friendly.) It is such a disrespectful place that if they understand that you are Turkish, they do not take a single kebab from the post machine. I've been in Berlin for 6 months, but I can never buy doner with a card in the evenings from a place where I can buy a single doner from time to time for only 8 euros. This branch is very bad. The food is supposed to be based on the customer's desire, not the workers and the chef. The taste is salty, everything was oversalted, in addition to the meat being tough and really not tasty. To be honest, before I visit another Turkish restaurant, I'd rather go to the kebab shop again.

I bought doner, the service was very late and cold, the staff cutting the doner is touching both food and money without gloves, the toilets are very dirty, I definitely do not recommend it, it will hurt your pocket.

We visited this restaurant with a group of 14 people (7/21/24 7:00 p.m. The location is really good and the food was delicious. The service was quick and we received our dishes quickly. However, we were very disappointed with the waiter's behavior. After paying 550 euros we gave him a tip. However, he was not satisfied and asked us for the second time to give him more. After we tipped him again, he still said, “Just that little?” This behavior was totally outrageous. It's a shame that in such an elite area the staff is so rude.

Good Turkish restaurant - I recommend)

We recently visited the restaurant. The food was really good and tasty and the staff was very attentive. Unfortunately, we had a less pleasant experience: we were there with a disabled person and were asked if we came from a rehabilitation clinic. We found this question to be rude and inappropriate. It would be appropriate if more sensitivity and respect could be shown in the future. It would also be nice if the staff didn't repeatedly insist on getting a higher tip.

We had a spontaneous meal at Hasır this evening, July 21, 24. We were 14 people. The food came very quickly and was fine. The service was friendly. When we paid (550 euros for the meal + 8 euros tip) it was The waiter (the one with little hair) was dissatisfied and said “so little”. We then gave more tips and he said the same thing again “so little”. I turned around and left. That is the most outrageous thing I have ever done in my life I have experienced this. I request and ask the operator to pay his employees well so that they do not have to rely on tips. And therefore do not become disrespectful.

We specifically visited the Hasir Restaurant on the way back from our vacation because friends recommended it to us. (Afterwards we discovered that there are several branches) The food was good, but not really cooked through, we sent a lot of it back to be cooked further. The princess beans were also missing from all the plates; they were actually on the menu. The taste of the salad dressing was absolutely zero for me, so it definitely came out of the bucket. What was positive, however, was that the food was served very quickly and the waiters were attentive. We knew it wasn't the cheapest Turkish restaurant in Berlin, but unfortunately we were so disappointed in the end because the waiter practically forced us to tip. Unfortunately I noticed this too late, otherwise there wouldn't have been a cent tip. This clouded the otherwise positive impression. Ultimately, it is up to the customer whether or not they tip or how much they tip. 13 euros was reasonable for us. For this reason I probably won't visit this restaurant again. Overall this is a mixed experience. With some improvements it could be a great restaurant, but due to the shortcomings described we can only recommend it to a limited extent at the moment.

Today (07/21/24, 7 p.m.) we had dinner at Hasır with a group of 14 people. The food arrived a few minutes after ordering and everyone was happy with the dishes and the service. When we paid (€542 + €8 tip), the waiter was so rude and asked the question: “So little?” We then added a little more (5€) but were shocked when he asked for more the second time. It's really impossible for waiters to ask for tips in the first place, but twice? My father worked as a waiter himself for years and never once said words like that. This is shameless behavior, especially since we have already paid so much without a tip.

Well, thanks to the tourist location, business is definitely good. But otherwise the restaurant is nothing special. Average quality.

Employees have trouble communicating. Employees think they are making jokes, but they are talking inappropriately. The food is inadequate considering the price. We ordered lahmacun, but the lahmacun was too small compared to normal size. It's not worth the money I paid. And please learn how to talk to customers.

The food is good and if you, for example, order something like Hummus, they will give you fresh and warm bread with it. The only problem with this restaurant, which is also a common problem with all the Turkish food, is that it's a bit too expensive.

Vi piace vincere facile...un paese il piatto tipico sono le patate... spopolamento è semplice. Ristorante sotto la ns pensione...tutte le sere pieno... ci ha "obbligato" a provarlo. La Turchia Ha piatti straordinari... e anche qui non mi hanno assolutamente deluso.

Ate here multiple times during a work trip and I was in heaven. Dips and small appetizers were delicious, especially the meatballs. And the lamb was grilled perfectly. Juicy and flavorful. Service was so nice, always helpful but never intrusive or rushed us.

Starters are not bad at all, but the price-performance ratio is not right. Main courses Meat up and down, standard for Turkish restaurants in Berlin. Anyway, nothing bad but nothing special either.

Highly recommended. The food has been great every time so far, the service was friendly and polite, but at least yesterday it was quite slow. It is much more comfortable on the terrace than inside.

My only criticism is that the person giving the doner both takes money and gives change and opens the inside of the doner bread with the same hand, destroying all the taste and making you upset while eating it. Hygiene is zero. Please be careful...
